Which Weapons Are Better Than Others
MysteryMachineX replied to MysteryMachineX's topic in General Zombies Discussion
Lord Sith, I do not believe your stats. So please stop posting on this thread as if your stats are indisputable. If you did indeed find the stats, you have not presented them in such a way to make anyone think you actually made them. You did not "publish" your findings like I did here, so to speak. -
Which Weapons Are Better Than Others
MysteryMachineX replied to MysteryMachineX's topic in General Zombies Discussion
No, it wasn't. People had to literally count the number of Zombies and curve fit it. (Could they have gotten the number of zombies from the data? I don't think so. If so, that would've saved me a lot of time. I do know however that the formula is not in-game.) People think that the coding will tell you everything about the game. Not true. That is why it is called coding. It is ENCODED. If no one is able to make out something, it will never be known. No one ever solved the formula 100% accurate. We just have approximations. -
I have a question. Does "Staff-Awarded ONLY" mean that we can't ask for them in the medal request thread?

Which Weapons Are Better Than Others
MysteryMachineX replied to MysteryMachineX's topic in General Zombies Discussion
Thank you, I appreciate it. Those are good choices, but personally I would prefer an emergency weapon and a point weapon rather than two point weapons. A random guy comes in here, dumps information, and then leaves without a reply. I wouldn't take his numbers that seriously. There's no telling how or where he got them. I plan on doing such testing, but I doubt that he did it honestly. And actually, NO. There is NO!!!!!!! 100% accurate formula. All Zombies formulas were cleverly done to be 99% accurate, but they are NOT 100% accurate. I know, because I partook in it myself. Most people forget that the Mustang and Sally originally had no PhD Flopper to help it out. The "original" was exactly as it is now. I honestly just think people have been spoiled by PhD Flopper. Now you have to be more careful. Eventually the Executioner will cease to be effective, and at that time the Mustang and Sally will still be effective. Not as effective at close range, but still more effective. As an emergency weapon, well that's why I opt for the Ray Gun. Perfectlemonade, that is why explosive weapons should never be compared solely on damage statistic with bullet weapons, which is exactly why I separated them in this thread. Explosive weapon total damage is typically small, but that's because each bullet hits many, many zombies. Having both the Mustang and Sally and the Ray Gun I think isn't a great idea; it leaves you no point weapon slot. Unless of course you have Mule Kick, then go ahead! -
Be careful: There are leaks out there.
MysteryMachineX replied to The Courtesy Caller's topic in Research & Development
I still think that falls under the definition of an accidental leak, but I have no control over that and accept your judgment. -
I have noticed strange lighting effects at Bus Depot. Like once my Executioner had a blue highlight to it in a location where it was inconceivable to have one.

How do you know that? Is that just inference? -
The term for that is programming quirk, like MissingNo. in Pokemon.

*clap clap* I would call them Objectives, personally, since getting the Power turned on was the original objective, but now things are more complex. The Objectives typically have a first step of turning the power on anyway.

@OP: Lol, this was amusing. Thank you. Nice to see glitchers getting what's coming to 'em.

So it is the definition of leak that is the problem? I think that if Treyarch hasn't announced the DLC, then it is a leak. Now you say since a GameStop released an early image of it, it should be okay? I highly disagree. Now let's just say this GameStop is at "fault". A person can be sued just as easily as a company can, ergo a person is just as liable as a company. What if an employee of GameStop accidentally released an image in a back room on Facebook and people found it? Would that be a leak? I hope you say yes. So an entire GameStop facilitates the early, unconfirmed release of some DLC. Would that be a leak? I think so. The entire GameStop violated the NDA, not just one person. This of course assumes the image isn't fake... -
I don't mean to be harsh, but I really think it is 3) a canon change. I think that they just thought Takeo should be older and made him so. Remember, in Kino der Toten they had slightly younger pictures of themselves on the wall. Maybe they wanted a more stark difference with Takeo that the other characters didn't need.

I believe Richtofen was simply working there. It is known he traveled a lot in 1942-1945, in many places: Der Riese, Verruckt, Shi No Numa, Kino der Toten, Shangri-La, Griffin Station, Eagle's Nest. I think he was just working there at the time; he even had his own hut set up: the Doctor's Quarters. The other three I believe then showed up at Shi No Numa. Why they went there? Who knows. We know there was a teleporter near but not in Shi No Numa, so maybe they teleported to find him. (Their knowledge of him testing on them had been erased.)

Stamin-Up on Nacht? The thought made me laugh. But I get what you're saying. You forgot Mule Kick though, Tom. -
What Defines Boosting in Zombies?
MysteryMachineX replied to perfectlemonade's topic in General Zombies Discussion
@Inviso: Actually that would be considered cheating, since someone is losing on purpose for YOUR benefit. That is exactly what boosting has always been. Not legitimate. @Tom: Well said. -
What Defines Boosting in Zombies?
MysteryMachineX replied to perfectlemonade's topic in General Zombies Discussion
Purposefully losing the game on purpose to solely increase another player's score, with no care for the game at hand, is illegitimate, a.k.a. "boosting". Running many miles on purpose = legitimate. Downing yourself for a teammates to get revives = cheating. Getting high rounds = legitimate. Letting yourself die so a teammate can survive without getting you = legitimate. -

Even if they use that thought, it still isn't right. Because even when viewing in this forum, two threads appear up top: viewtopic.php?f=100&t=21041 viewtopic.php?f=100&t=24272 -

Why is all the stuff about the first DLC being ALLOWED on the forums? I thought CoDz was leak-free. Apparently I was wrong. I don't think it is real, which is even more reason to not allow it. But leaks are not allowed. *looks up to the multiple announcement denouncing leaks* -

Thanks. That's why the M1911 and Ray Gun are in a separate category, because they cannot be compared by statistical damage accurately. -
Is that supposed to make it okay? Nazi Zombies was originally Zombie Nazis, and anyone can find out about that; it is on the internet. Does that mean I should call this game Zombie Nazis? No. Sorry, OP, I'm stopping here.

Look at the game. Read his name. You cannot argue this. Well, you can. Just as easily as arguing that the world is flat.
