  1. No offense, PINNAZ, but I still think it is a nuclear spacecraft, even if all the tower talk confuses me.
  2. Lenne is correct. Mason is known to basically be schizophrenic. Reznov is a personality of his. In his mind, Reznov does certain deeds to help him, but in reality Mason is performing the actions of himself and Reznov. However, the game strongly hints Reznov is still alive, however it does so ONLY in Mason's perspective, which biases it. I think it is an interesting mechanic, because Mason believes Reznov is real, and the game makes you think he might be too, even if you know he's not.
  3. The Fire Sale appears on some maps, and it doesn't appear on others. It hasn't appeared that time. I don't think there's much meaning behind it. Richtofen didn't feel like giving anyone a Fire Sale at this time.
  4. Lol. I think that is just a mistake on Treyarch's part. There is no way Nuketown can be in the '50's. It's okay Rissole. You can post whenever you have time. And on what to post, feel free to post anything story-related. :D
  5. I disagree. If people don't find it within a week of release, I'm convinced it isn't there. If there is more to it, then why does Maxis stop talking to us after we receive the achievement? If you turn the power off and on, he says nothing.
  6. I don't think so. In Black Ops II, Treyarch gave us A LOT of things we asked for. When we had the Death Machine, a lot of people asked for the Grim Reaper as well. So they gave us the "new" Grim Reaper.
  7. That would be cool and all, however, you can see many other purple areas on the image. That is just a concentrated streak of the purple. All of the purple is probably just faded ink.
  8. I don't think there is one because there isn't a new Wonder Weapon this time around. They could do the jet gun sure, but I think it would've been found by now if there was one.
  9. I've seen some strange lighting effects with Maxis, Richtofen, and the Tower. This guy just might be on to something people. I don't think it'll be anything grand, but a nice little find. :)
  10. Hey guys. Could someone give me a simplistic overview of all this tower stuff? I never researched Nuketown since it had nothing to do with Zombies. So I'm a bit clueless. I'm hoping a brief overview of what you guys are talking about will help me understand the more detailed stuff in a timely manner. @MixMasterNut: I disagree. I think the Richtofen books are canonical; they just shouldn't be taken too seriously. Richtofen did A LOT of stuff. 935, Nazis, 935 rebellion, Illuminati, Weimar, plastic surgery, Aether. Just add writer to the list. Perhaps it was a ploy to make the Wunderwaffe DG-2 more known in order to try to get it mass produced? I think looking so specifically as to which maps contained it is too much. I think that the fact the book existed is evidence for its existence, wherever. @Tac: I've never heard of vril being invisible. I read the Vril novel, and while I obviously cannot recall every word, I can vividly re-imagine the events of the book, and in my mind, it has always been yellow. That I think is reflected in the V-R11. Even when upgraded, it shoots yellow (vril) mixed with red (115). About George, since the electric side-effects of 115 are continuing to be more pronounced, I think 115 might've been to blame for the electric George, although I wouldn't rule out vril.
  11. I figured Yuri on the left, Gersch on the right. Showing Gersch twice seems redundant.
  12. All he is saying is that you have to figure it out. He did NOT give you any hints. He just said to figure it out. You are looking way too deep into this; you're not going to find anything that way.
  13. I just wanted to give my opinion on some things: I disagree. Completely. Zombies is too popular. Keep in mind that the MPD is Vril-Ya technology. We don't know if a nuke would even crack that thing. I agree with your final paragraph. But the exact methodology he is going to do I think remains a mystery. Agreed. I heard a theory where the machine is hiding in the mushroom cloud, but I highly disagree with it. I think the machine is long gone, wherever it went. Although, is it possible that this thing, which earlier you guys implied to be a nuclear spacecraft, acted as a nuke and caused the explosion? ? Why must it be drawing in something? Looks equally possible to be emitting something without any drawing. Btw, yellow = electricity or vril. Vril's the only yellow substance we know of. Electricity is also typically depicted as yellow. I don't think there's going to be anything known for it. It's just too vague. I don't think that's really necessary. Every post should be made as if everyone can see it easily. This is the internet, after all. And about the CoD Wiki, yeah... THE number 1 cause of Zombies misinformation. On second thought... maybe I'll just let you guys talk about this... I have a headache. Tac, Shooter, Mix. I mean to be involved in this discussion, but I'll have to give input later. Not thinking too straight. Getting confused by all this tower talk.
  14. It's not a Wonder Weapon at all...
  15. Got an ACOG-ed SLEDGE HAMR. :D
  16. I think that the space is really cramped. But the thing is, that is what made Nuketown famous. It's small size appealed to people. And I think Treyarch did well adding quality when quantity wasn't present. My favorite circle is behind the house that does not have the garden. I run around the support beam for the porch. I'll run on the other side if I have to. I don't think there is going to be much option here. Treyarch tries to please everyone, rather successfully I think. While Green Run is huge and massive and consistent throughout, Nuketown is small and chaotic. I think the number of viable strategies, like circles, is naturally going to be smaller.
  17. Lol, Richtofen, whyyy do you have to mutilate Samantha's creations?
  18. *shrugs* I'd like to know. I like the mysteriousness of it all, but when it comes to the earnables... well it affects my game, so it concerns me.
  19. I agree. There could have been some pretty funny qoutes for grief. "You've been REDACTED!" - CIA Agent #3 :P
  20. Yes, it can be quite useful, but still cheating.
  21. I don't know if this has been said already or not, but here goes: You cannot do both Easter Eggs. Well you can, but there's a catch. When you help one of the two, you are hurting the other. You cannot simply help both, that cancels it out. The game remembers which one you helped out LAST. If you help Richtofen, but then go and help Maxis, then Richtofen will ask for your help again. If you help him, then Maxis will ask for your help again. It's a continuous struggle, and you are indeed forced to choose one. I just found that from doing them myself.
  22. Simply completing the table does not make it save. You have to get to a certain point in the Easter Egg, I believe the following step. Then it shall save.
  23. I'm a little worried though that this will be like Nuketown. There's some interesting stuff going on here, and you guys are coming to some interesting conclusions. But will this ever relate to the story in any way besides this image here? That's what worries me.
  24. I want a map in a new country. America, Russia, and Germany are cool and all. But I want something else. Why not Canada? It won't even differe that much from America culturally. We could kill Canadian Zombies. I'm just throwing an idea out there. I do think killing Vril-Ya Zombies would be much better though...
  25. Yes, you can build it. I did myself. I never used it though. I saved it for emergencies, but died before using it. But I had it just in case. Although it really isn't a wunderwaffe.
