  1. No there are multiple SOURCES which say different dates. They say when the M16 was employed to troops and what battles and so forth from that one, and it is a bit conflicting. The only one saying 1963 is Wikipedia, which is NOT a reliable source of information. The last one, however, is very specific in its information, making it the most believable. Not to mention that relating it to Kino has the hiccup of the Fernsehturm. Also, think about this. I found loads of people on blogs, wikis, and Q&A sites giving different dates. If the populace is picking different dates, wouldn't Treyarch pick a date as well? However, Treyarch, having better resources than... Google, would probably be right in my opinion that it is indeed 1964.

  3. Theory? We might as well have a theory as to why Dempsey mentions Facebook when he Pack-A-Punches and a theory as to who is this "player" that he talks to. It is the issuing of the M16. Making it mean something further is redundant.

  5. I don't mean to shut you down, but I'm pretty sure it is just a reference to the M16's date of manufacture. I've looked around on different sites, and there is a wide variety of dates for that date. Wikipedia claims "The rifle entered United States Army service and was deployed for jungle warfare operations in South Vietnam in 1963." I don't believe Wikipedia, so I found another source. http://star-spangled.narod.ru/60_nam_m16.htm But they have two claims: "The M16 was first issued to American Soldiers in Vietnam in 1968." "The operational debut of the M16 appeared to go quite well when the rifle was first issued to troops in the battle in the Ia Drang Valley of Viet Nam in early November, 1965." However, I found another source, one that I believe to be correct. http://world.guns.ru/assault/usa/m16-m1 ... 6a3-e.html "Following the delays in introduction of the ill-fated 'next generation' SPIW system and production troubles with M14, in 1963 Colt receives contracts from US Government for 85 000 rifles for US Army (designated as XM16E1) and for further 19 000 rifles for US Air Forces (designated M16). The US AF M16 was no more than an AR-15 rifle with appropriate markings. The XM16E1 differed from AR-15/M16 by having an additional device, the so called "forward assist", which was used to manually push the bolt group in place in the case of jams. Next year US Air Forces officially adopted new rifle as M16. Same year US Army adopted the XM16E1 as a limited standard rifle, to fill the niche between discontinued 7.62mm M14 rifle and the forthcoming SPIW system (which newer got past the prototype and trial stages)." That makes the issuing of the M16 1964.

  7. Oh its okay. I was just saying. Most of the pros play on high sensitivities; understandable. But just because you aren't doesn't make you a bad player.
  8. This is true IMO, I find it hard to play zombie or multiplayer on anything lower than five or higher than nine. I generally play on 7 btw I play on 2. It's just how I learned to play, and I don't see any real need to play higher. I don't mind when people play on 10- play on whatever you like best- but it does bother me when people try to act superior because they are playing on a higher sensitivity, as if the number represents some imaginary count of points.
  9. This is how I rate them. Although, note that I keep the Wonder Weapon guns separate from the Wonder Weapon grenades, as I do not believe them accurately comparable. 1. Wave Gun / Zap Gun Dual Wield 2. 31-79 JGb215 3. Thundergun 4. Wunderwaffe DG-2 5. V-R11 6. Scavenger 7. Winter's Howl 8. Ray Gun 1. Gersch Device 2. Monkey Bomb 3. Quantum Entanglement Device 4. Matryoshka Dolls For the guns, I use the killing potential of each weapon primarily. The first 5 weapons have infinite damage, so they immediately are in the top 5. The Ray Gun is essentially a pseudo- Wonder Weapon, having finite damage, so it is last. The Winter's Howl can usually kill more Zombies than the Ray Gun can, and being its own exclusive Wonder Weapon, I consider it higher than the Ray Gun. The Scavenger deals much more damage thann either of them. The V-R11 goes higher than them because it has dozens of uses, from killing single Zombies blockading your path to distracting an entire horde to removing George from the game for a little while. The Wunderwaffe DG-2 is next because it kills 180 zombies. The Thundergun next because it kills 336 zombies. The 31-79 JGb215 next because it kills 700-something zombies. The Wave Gun only kills about 400, but I still rate it better than thew 31-79 JGb215. The Wave Gun is retractable into two forms, which can be useful in a pinch. It is very lightweight in Dual Wield form. It is considered a pistol, so it is the only infinite-damage weapon that can be used on your deathbed. And the 31-79 JGb215 shoots linear, making it more difficult to actually achieve the 700 kills, so I believe that is enough to make the Wave Gun superior. As for the grenades, it is pretty simple. Matryoshka Dolls are at the bottom since they simply blow up. The QEDs are right above that because they have pretty awesome effects, and the odds of something bad happening are pretty low. Monkey Bombs and Gersch Devices are both useful for distracting zombies, but not only does the Gersch Device last .33 seconds longer, but it also allows instant teleportation.
  10. Actually, the Japanese would refer to the islands of Japan as the "Homeland" or "Motherland" or something like that when just referring to the main isles. When saying "Japan", it really could go either way.
  11. Forgot to mention that I added your quote.
  12. Yeah there's a little trick, if you knife dogs literally just as they spawn they will die with one knife, no matter what the health Is that just No Man's Land, or does that work on all maps?
  13. Thanks guys. But don't forget to vote for other quotes you deem worthy as well! And don't forget to tell me which map it is from.
  14. Ehhh. They say hindsight is 20-20.
  15. Sorry. when you post your quote, that automatically counts as one vote. Yours plus mine is 2.
  16. Yes, but this site I've found to be more accurate than any other.
  17. Lol, cool. Thank you very much.
  18. I meant no offence, stop mocking me. I was just trying to prevent the spread of misinformation before it began.
  19. Thanks guys. I added them, and I would like to vote for the 22304 quote.
  20. Well "Five" was designed to be difficult. That's why it is one of my favorite maps. It is a challenge. This pretty much reinforces that.
  21. The Leaderboards do glitch up a lot. According to the Leaderboards, none of my real records (see my signature) are true. It says they are lower, but I know I've done much better more than once before. *shrug* that's why I list them myself, because I know the Leaderboards won't get it right.
  22. Grammar? Please, you said Kassimir, not Antikythera. They are two completely different things. You missed the entire point. Richtofen says Antikythera, making many players, if they heard it correctly, think that it is an entirely new plot twist. But it is actually referencing a real-world device. He says just kidding so we know it was only a joke. The Antikythera Mechanism is largely considered the world's first computer in the literal sense, as it does, in fact, "compute". It kept track of orbits and was found underwater near the island of Antikythera.
  23. Honestly, I think analyzing the songs is pointless. They are soooo subjective. I never use them to create evidence for the storyline, but I allow it to support existence evidence.
