Harrassment when playing as Misty
MysteryMachineX replied to ETEl2NAL407's topic in General Zombies Discussion
For most people, this is a physiological thing. People see a scantily clad woman and lose their common sense, if they had it to begin with. For the rest of us, there are logical reasons. I don't agree with some that have been posted. Yes, I do think Misty dresses inappropriately, but who am I to judge her for that? Who am I to say she is any less of a character? She could be dressing up like that on purpose to show Samuel, Marlton, Russman, the zombies, Maxis, and/or Richtofen her body. On the other hand, she was southern woman; perhaps it was her culture to just dress up in whatever and that it didn't matter. Perhaps in a ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE there are not much clothes lying around to choose from? Any way you look at it, she is dressed the way she is. And the game puts you in her shoes. You as the player have the ability to be given insulting comments concerning your feminine attributes. Act onto others as you do yourself. Would you say such comments to a real woman? Would you say such comments to a fictional character? Would you say such comments... to yourself? If you said yes to all of those, then please see the first line of this post. -
I've been calling the Man's Room the Dragon Room... much more precise IMO. Regardless, I agree with this. I love dat China Room. Man Room. Whatever it's called. Just call it the Restaurant... because that's what it is... I mean everyone can call it what they want, but that's the clearest term.
-
Sorry, all of my friends call that room the china room for some reason. It is past the AN-94 down the elevator shaft, and it has a teddy bear, red columns, upside down statues, and that broken stone column thing that sticks out, and you can jump off of it into the floor with the power switch. Ohhhh okay. I call that the Buddha room, because it has Buddha in it. :P

Which room is the room you call the China room? The entire map is Chinese....
-
If it is in the middle of the room how could it send you off the edge???

Harrassment when playing as Misty
MysteryMachineX replied to ETEl2NAL407's topic in General Zombies Discussion
The key word is mature. There's a lot of players that can't reach that "mature" word. Even if they are physically mature, many are not mentally... -
I saw your post. However, a good scientist gets someone to confirm his results.

Worth testing perhaps? I do think others would be better at this than me. I go down more often in the early rounds than the later rounds...

Just amazing Tom! :D

New Persistent Perk discussion ("Cash Back")
MysteryMachineX replied to TheBSZombie's topic in General Zombies Discussion
Lots of people did. It's just now, we know exactly how to get it. Which is the most important part. Megaton A is right. He did it first. And no one knows how to get it. All anyone is doing is guessing at the moment. Unfortunately it is not so easy to guess non-multiple-choice questions... -
These quotes were quite interesting. The thing I found most interesting, and disturbing, was Maxis's view of the survivors. Apparently, in Maxis's eyes, there are four types of creatures to do with Earth: zombies, humans, Richtofen, and himself. He doesn't consider himself human anymore. The logic makes sense; he has no body. But still...

New Persistent Perk discussion ("Cash Back")
MysteryMachineX replied to TheBSZombie's topic in General Zombies Discussion
Sure thing. There's a rumor that you have to have 100 Perks. I know for a fact that it is not true, as I have not been able to get this persistent upgrade, and I have drank over 1600 Perks. I have also heard of others who have drank over 100 Perks and are unable to get it. -

I find that offensive. And no, it is confirmed that that is not true. -
Yes, Caddyman, that is a quite useful mid-ground. It is like a hybrid. Basically the one person running in circles alleviates the strain on the campers. It basically buys them more time. This kind of strategy can be effective. In fact, there is a certain way to use this strategy to make it not terminal. If you have three players watching a window like in Nacht der Untoten or Ascension, they could all watch that window indefinitely (provided skill) while the fourth player runs a circle nearby. It is a useful tactic when there's only one good place to run and when you want all players to be together.

Actually, it is because Samuel ate the flesh and was part of the Flesh. There is a theory that he was once a zombie, but that is in no way set in stone.

The weapon known most for the most radical change is the M1911. Un-Pack-A-Punched, it is pretty much the worst weapon in the game. But once you Pack-A-Punch it, it becomes one of the best. It becomes dual wield, and it shoots explosives.

No, it doesn't. : /

Eh. Kinda. You could excuse that by saying the elevators are moving and causing un-stability, making the zombie not be able to run. As for falling off, it is a small visible gap, so I think it makes sense that you can't fall. Yes and no. They will TRY to follow you. However, if the elevator you're on goes up before they catch up to you, you'll get a breather from them. If you are in the Power area and trying to get up, it will be difficult. It is one of the hardest translocations in the level. What you want to try to do is to horde up all the zombies behind you. This can be difficult to do. I suggest trying to do it in the room directly above the Remington. That is the largest room in the Power area, and it is possible to run a circle, albeit very difficult. You may have to utilize that hallway. Once you've got all of them chasing you, just wait until the elevator goes down and is about to go up. Be patient as you run in circles repeatedly. You want to wait long enough so you can get on but the zombies can't. You can also run the zombies out far into the hallway to increase the lag between you jumping on the elevator and them jumping on the elevator. It's quite tricky, but it can be done. That's really your best bet unless you're able to kill all those zombies repeatedly in that awful area...

Drops, The Aether And You
MysteryMachineX replied to Gamecrazy1's topic in General Zombies Discussion
I just want to point out that Aether is another dimension. Our universe is said to have always had the same energy and matter throughout its life. It just transforms form one state to another. However, if there are multiple dimensions, which Zombies has shown us there are, than that means that the universe's amount of energy and matter are NOT constant, because while they are not created nor destroyed, they are transferred in and out of our universe entirely. Thus one could say they originate from matter/energy in the other dimension rather than our own. -
There's nothing that can stop the noises. However, perhaps we can alter your perception of them? Have you tried to not worry about it? I'm not being sarcastic or anything. I have gone many games not noticing the noise because honestly I am used to it. I hardly notice it is there anymore unless I look for it. I think what could help alleviate your problem is to simply stop looking for it. Make the decision not to care. Then perhaps it won't bother you anymore.

I highly disagree. Running circles is better than camping. If one person goes down when running circles then...... that's one person down. The rest of the team survives. When camping, it is quite often that the whole team falls like dominos. Camping is good and all, but like I said earlier, it is terminal. If you stick to camping out of stubbornness to not run circles, you will die. I understand people making a conscious decision to employ the worse tactic for the sake of thrills. However, they must understand that that is exactly what they are doing.

Please fix or I among others will remain confused. -
New Persistent Perk discussion ("Cash Back")

I find your post quite confusing. This is probably because you are talking about a Perk that has to with Perks. I never know whether you are actually referring to Perks or to Persistent Upgrades.
