  1. The names for the parts of the Trample Steam are the Flag, Bellows, Wireframe, and Engine. EDIT: Apparently, some people beat me to it. Sorry.
  2. That's why they are not actually called "Perma Perks". They aren't Perks. They aren't permanent. The correct name is Persistent Upgrades. They are persistent; they stay, but not forever. So you got the Juggernog Pro one? Well did you make it to Round 15 at all? How to lose a Persistent Upgrade is not as well known as how to get one, but I've always lost Juggernog Pro on Round 15.
  3. You have to keep in mind that Maxis took Samantha with him everywhere. Thus he is less likely to move. Richtofen went all over the place: Der Riese, Eagle's Nest, Griffin Station, Kino der Toten, Shi No Numa. Maxis however stayed mostly at Der Riese (so we think at least), only ever leaving to go to Kino der Toten occasionally. Therefore, it is unlikely (not impossible though) that it was NOT at Der Riese, because he had a daughter to think about when it came to travel. Also keep in mind Der Riese was like the headquarters, so the leader of 935 would probably primarily spend his time there. That's just what I think.
  4. It couldn't be any clearer. You hear a garbled voice that you can't make out. Then you hear semi-garbled voice that you can make the words out. Then you hear the same words in Richtofen's voice. It basically TELLS you that it is him. Samantha had two end-spectrum voices. Doesn't it make sense for Richtofen to have two as well? Samantha was a little sweet girl. In Aether, she gained a demonic voice that she could change to at will. Richtofen has been normal thus far. Perhaps we are now seeing his demonic voice?
  5. The Jumping Jack are the name of the creatures you fight on the H*llrounds.
  6. That's why you should just not care about keeping "high" stats. This is why the ranking system is a failure. I am proud of my down. I'm ranked 10,000,000 for downs, and I'm proud of it. I've earned them.
  7. I think you have a noble cause. But let me tell you my opinion on some things. In some cases I will support. In some I will not. No, there is no 115 "confirmed", however confirmation is a really overused word. Given the nature of the ammunition, it seems to operate with 115. It also has many similarities to Wonder Weaponry: it has ammunition, it kills in a weird way, it awards points, it can be gotten from the Mystery Box, its not (entirely) made from junk. The fact that it is not upgradable is easily understandable. From a story standpoint, Wonder Weapons have to have upgraded designs. Since you finish building it in the game yourself, you never make an upgraded design. Agreed. It is just a weaponized jet turbine. It is as much a Wonder Weapon as the Spikemore was. Well, he has eaten zombie flesh. He was part of an organization called The Flesh. And yes, he and Russman are good friends. Was he still a hobo? Not sure. I disagree. While the way Misty dresses suggests that she is a slut, her mannerisms do not indicate provocativeness any more so than any other playable character. Definitely a gun nut. Knows everything about them. And yes he likes Misty, and she likes him back. But yeah, they don't do anything about that. 2000? I thought it was 1000. Btw, their official names are the Jumping Jacks. The thing is called the Trample Steam. Everything you said though is correct. This is all correct. Note that the parts of the Sliquifier are all found on the bottom two floors in the sweatshop. Also correct. I have not heard of this. What are you referring to? The NavCard is on the opposite side of the Bus Depot from the Bus part. To be honest, I don't think the sign is of any significance. I'm not sure on the sign thing, but everything else I'm sure is correct. Yes, that is there. Correct. It's not actually Nacht der Untoten. It's just a fort that resembles it. I like how you just call him the boss. He is actually called "Him". The Achievement says so. What I dislike is how people made up the "Avogadro" name. >: ( I call it the Cabin, but yes yes, you are right. You can also place the Turbine right in front of the porta potty. It'll work just as well if there's no zombies around. Half time? Yup. Don't hold the Jet Gun that long. It is best used in bursts while switching. Oh, and you do call him the "Avogadro"... Sorry, but that name is not correct... at all... Yeah, it has a limited use. I've used it, and I was like "Hey, well it killed a few zombies." Never get it with the intention of keeping it. At least it breaks less frequently than the other Buildables... I would say maybe 35% of your body, because it does protect a little bit of your sides. It will break earlier if you are powering something. Only if you anger the Bus Driver. The Galvaknuckles make the Denizens soooo much easier. It does have the benefit of putting all the zombies to "sleep" though. 3 Bowie Knives? I didn't know that. Thank you. Btw, that is not true. If you kill him in a roofed structure he just goes right through it. Might've been a one-time glitch; those happen. Lol. Sadly I agree. There are four keys actually. Lol again. It's a 1-hit kill with Bowie Knife or Galvaknuckles if you hit the Denizen before he gets on you. Once he is on you, it takes two hits with the Galvaknuckles, 3 with the Bowie Knifes, and 5 (? I thought it was 4) with the Knife. But this is a good thread. Very informative overall.
  8. Excuse me, BinSys. I think this is a great thread. However, I was wondering. How stark is the difference between the zombie numbers in the first ten Rounds in BO and BOII? I lack the first ten Round numbers for BO.
  9. Double-Tap Root Beer increases rate of fire by 33%. It also increases bolt-action speed, pump-action speed, grenade-throwing speed, and equipment-placing speed by 50%. Double-Tap Root Beer II increases rate of fire by 20%. It also increases bolt-action speed, pump-action speed, grenade-throwing speed, and equipment-placing speed by 50%. It has an additional effect of splitting each bullet in two when using bullet-based weaponry, effectively doubling the damage you give. Double-Tap Root Beer was good. Double-Tap Root Beer II is great.
  10. Interesting, but ends with more questions than answers.
  11. It was Samantha. But I think they kept the sound effect just for the ambience. I mean, it's possible it could mean something more. But for now, I think all we can say really is that it does add to the ambience, regardless of whether it means anything or not.
  12. I agree. I like your positive mindset. But I just don't see it. The V-R11 used vril to bring people back. There was reason to it. But not a drop from Aether is supposed to work just as well? I don't know. Maybe Richtofen can only revive individuals and not whole populations? I'm just not sure.
  13. Don't feel so bad. However, it is possible to fall off the elevator. It is nearly impossible. However, rarely, the game will glitch and make you fall. It is so infrequent I don't worry about it.
  14. I think it is illustrating the creation of these things, before the outbreak.
  15. I'd just like to reiterate my idea... I think that they sound loud because it is from the point of view of a Jumping Jack. The "janitor" is huge compared to it, which is why it sounds so loud.
  16. I would have to say no. That's because I, who did Maxis, have played and had no differences in gameplay from those that did Richtofen.
  17. http://s9.postimage.org/70gvmulhb/Maxis_Quote_5.png (ignore the "Maxis A.I." bit; that's my bad) I explain that by saying Marlton was in his late teens in Nuketown. That would place him in his thirties in the other maps. Both are reasonable ages; you never SEE him in Nuketown. The counterargument is that his voice should've changed. However, not every teenager's voice changes by his thirties. Some young men already have had their voice mature. And keep in mind, Marlton's voice even as an adult is a bit high-pitched.
  18. Nuketown, Green Run, and Great Leap Forward were all hit by missiles at the same time. Thus, they all happened in the same timeframe. The exception is that Green Run and Great Leap Forward sat there for 20 years since it was blown up because Maxis says so.
  19. I want ALL weapons. I love variety. I would want WWII weapons, Cold War weapons, and futuristic weapons all in the Box. Plus but in some Multiplayer weapons like the Peacekeeper. While you're at it, put all the Wonder Weapons in it. Balance out the map somehow accordingly, but it would be so awesome.
  20. As I've seen, I ALWAYS lose it when I reach Round 15 in any game of TranZit or Die Rise.
  21. I think is a well-done thread. However, I think Turned has no story relevance. I really wanted to think so. But there are two things that convince me otherwise. One is the eye colors. Eye colors are supposed to signify control. These zombies' eyes differ in color. They may be used in-game to differentiate players. However, think of Super Smash Bros. Are there really five different Marios each wearing a different outfit? No. Having different-colored eyes makes no sense. Two is the Cure. We know Richtofen's goal is to bring the world back up so he can bring it back down. If he could make a Cure, he could turn zombies back into people so he could torture them. The Cure seems like a gameplay element that makes very little sense to be involved in the story. Honestly, I see Turned as the Dead Ops Arcade of Black Ops II.
  22. In TranZit, you had to switch. You couldn't do the same one again. I think this is like that. But I can't say that with a 100% certainty.
  23. I think I've figured it out. You hear footsteps follow by the slamming of a metal gate. You can also hear these strange clicking sound. The strange clicking sound is IDENTICAL to the Jumping Jacks. What I think this means is that it is a sound clip of a Chinese man locking a gate behind him as he leaves a room filled with Jumping Jacks, indicating the origin of these things.
  24. I agree completely. In fact, it seems to me that many of the former storyline peeps are holding on out of sheer stubbornness to change with the times.
  25. Tested it. You can't do both in one game. : /
