^ Well said. I do not, no. I intend to do just that. To prove a point, you do what you can. I can't confidently say I am wrong until I can verify that I am 100% wrong. This could be the same thing as Ludvig vs Ludwig, we'll have to see. Okay. I might do the same to verify your results, but let me know what you find please.

Well weapons have turned out to be a bad reference for time. Never have the weapons been very accurate to determining the time of any map. Like the AK74u in the '60's... What in the world is a Qbz 95? You mean the Type 25? Like I said, the weapons can't be used. It is pretty much agreed that the Mystery Box is just filled with weapons, regardless of the time period, and that is why they have never really had any canonical implications. While Griffin Station was constructed in the 1940's, Area 51 had gone under development until it was overrun in 1962, as you can tell on the sign there. You should be more open-minded. I kinda like the way you are thinking, but I think you are incorrect in some aspects. The time of the maps is quite important, and integral to the storyline. But we are dealing with alternate universes, hence my chart above. However, to say nothing panned out like it did for us is incorrect. While multiple timelines were created, most of it was identical, because Richtofen and co. actually did very little to change the main course of history. That is until Moon, where that alternate timeline drastically changed history from the 60's forward. There are multiple theories of time. And the reason for that is because we have never been able to invent time travel; all we can do is theorize. However, Zombies employs the multidimensional view of time travel. It solves the grandfather paradox. You go back in time, and you kill your grandfather. So you were never born yes? No. By going back in time, you made the timeline branch off into another version of history. Now time will go forward with your grandfather dead, you never being born. But it is an alternate reality where you exist now. You didn't kill your grandfather, but your grandfather in a branching time stream. Whether or not you believe that theory in real life, it is the theory that Zombies has chosen to support. In fact, Green Run CONFIRMS it, by having a destroyed Earth in the '60's, as compared to a campaign in the 2020's.

But when you get 40 million points a secret area opens up where you can get the Ray Gun off the wall! (jk jk)

This was noticed actually many months ago by AlphaSnake.

Why would you say that? Look at the giant explosion it emits. When upgraded it even vaporizes the target. The thing was built by a Group 935 scientist. If that isn't a Wonder Weapon, then count the Monkey Bomb out.

I said an EMP Grenade will take out any vehicle. But no, I was not agreeing. I think the bus runs on gas. Just a gameplay mechanic. Gas can last you quite a while. And story-wise, the characters could be in the map just long enough before the tank runs dry. It has a robot driver, so electric is not completely far fetched, but I'd still bank on gas. However, this is such a small thing it seems to me, what the bus runs on. It certainly isn't 115.

Marlton Johnson has Twitter!

Not really... I think Treyarch are busy working on DLC. All this "secret" stuff people keep saying I think is just wishful thinking. I'm not going to shoot you down, but that's just what I think. -
What about the Scavenger?
-
All gasoline-powered vehicles have car batteries. EMPs will take out non-electric, gasoline-powered vehicles without the right know-how.

Or perhaps it is a fan who made his username that of a beloved character of his beloved game? -
No problem. :)

There is no "I believe" it was Wonder Weapon. It simply is not a Wonder Weapon. It is made of a jet engine. Are airplanes Wonder Weapons? Are airplanes Wonder Vehicles? No. ALL Wonder Weapons run off of 115. The only exception would be the Matryoshka Dolls, which are from Aether, so they are self-explanatory. We build the jet gun ourselves, so it is VERY OBVIOUS it runs not on 115. What does it? Fuel. The fuel is just as obvious as is the bus's fuel. Which is to say gameplay-mechanics. It is a Special Weapon to be grouped alongside the M2 Flamethrower, Ballistic Knife, and Crossbow Explosive-Tip.
-
Yes you are correct. The Thrustodyne Aeronautics Model 23 has no 115 aspect to it, thus it is not a Wonder Weapon. As simple as that. The Jet Gun is as much as Wonder Weapons as is the Spikemore.

Nacht Der Untoten area could be a facade...
MysteryMachineX replied to ninezerowill's topic in TranZit
Since Soviets were said to be at Nacht der Untoten at some point, I think that that may be the second outbreak. I'd have to read up on my storyline to tell you exactly. But yeah, point is, Nacht der Untoten did indeed have a story. It was just put up retroactively. -

That has merit to it. I think it could be an additional factor, but like I said, I still believe there is chemicals. But as to what you say, the Fire Pit, Fire Trap, and Flamethrower were intense burst of fire. This is cooling, exposed lava. Hot yes, but not so concentrated. It hurts the Zombies, but not enough to kill them like those things did.
-
@Electric: Gameplay does not necessitate explosive Zombies. For such a feature to be included, there must be a reason. Tac's reasoning was the best presented thus far. Some type of chemical must trigger the explosive reaction, because the human body on fire alone does not do it.

In Call of the Dead, they were in "present day", which was 2011. Richtofen has since gone back in time to Moon, in 1967, which we gather from Nuketown. The events of Call of the Dead never happen. Sarah Michelle Gellar is never born. As for the Bus Driver. We know of Teleporters in the past. So it is not too far fetched to see a robot Bus Driver. His purpose? Unknown. There is just too many things pointing towards Green Run being in the '80's, 20 years after the missiles, in '60's. It's not re-used stuff.

Played a match the other day. It was fun. I was on the CDC. Three of the CIA guys left within the first two rounds. So it was 4 v 1. Easy, right? No. The one CIA guy left was really good. He knew his stuff. He was buying wall weapons instead of the Box. He had Juggernog first. He could survive very well. I play offensively. I actively TRIED to get him down. And man, it was so hard. To make matters worse, my teammates were actually HELPING HIM. So it was more like 1 v 4, rather than 4 v 1. Every time I almost got him down, my teammate would kill the zombie that was right about to kill him. It was so aggravating. I finally managed to indirectly get him down, going down myself. One of my teammates finished out the round. I sent an insulting message to my teammates, cordially telling him to down the opposition in Grief rather than teammates in future games. I sent a praising message to the CIA guy telling him that he did a good job. I respect good players, regardless of which team they are on.

Nacht der Untoten was much more than a "prototype". You should read the story of how it was created. Putting in long hours in the weekends, until Treyarch's other projects shut down, causing everyone to bank on Zombies, until it was finally finished and released as a bonus level. All the other ideas that didn't make it through. The ones that did. It wasn't a prototype. It was never meant to be the first of anything. It just was. It became so popular that more levels were made.
