  1. Amazing idea. And it would allow people to get Power-Ups floating in mid-air too!
  2. I think Zombies has grown tremendously. Sometimes they were right and sometimes they were… less right. But I always loved Treyarch's creation. I feel confident they will improve even further next time.
  3. I really just think all of that is just a mere sliver of the entire Misty and Marlton versus Samuel and Russman dispute. Misty insults Samuel. Misty insults Russman. Marlton insults Samuel. Marlton insults Russman. Samuel insults Misty. Samuel insults Marlton. Russman insults Misty. Russman insults Marlton. As for that particular quote above, that could be a metaphor for all sorts of things. Maybe Russman gave secrets to another company. Maybe Russman cheated on a woman. Maybe he drank sewer water. Quotes should be taken with a grain of salt.
  4. None was taken. I understand. I think it would be better to be changed. But if it is difficult or time consuming, and something to be required every single month, I can see why it would not be done.
  5. I don't believe we ever find out why he was fired. So I'd say that is Degree 5. However, Russman was fired before the apocalypse. (Unless people still drive taxis in the apocalypse, not to mention the rain.) And we know from Buried's intro that Russ+Stu only met M&M AFTER the apocalypse in Green Run. Therefore, Marlton's knowledge of Broken Arrow is only a result of what Russman and Stu told them.
  6. Okay then. Thank you.
  7. My point is just that the text is manually insert on the front page. Why not the index? You're still doing it, just elsewhere.
  8. Slade is right. Why isn't this just the text that appears on the index? If you want to see a hard-working machine in action, s Warrrior is the man of the hour (well, month). Not only did he revamp the forum onto a new software, but he also reinstated several key features such as a new forum design, an Arcade, Livestream status, and the ever-so popular BRAINS. Look no further for the CoDz Warrior than H's Warrrior. instead of They first registered on this board 29 August 2013 - 12:18 PM, 165 days ago. 9. @Naitrax, I don't mind if you use what I said at all. I wouldn't just quote it though. Put it up yourself. No need to say I said it. What was Marlton doing in the Fallout Shelter? He was probably one of the radiation scientists in Nuketown. Degree 3. How long was the time between TranZit and Moon? Infest does a great job explaining that. Degree 3. How is the Rift going to be "mended"? Richtofen could have said that for any number of reasons, like by mending he meant absorbing its energy. Degree 4. Why are the perks flashing in MotD? Temporal displacement by the Ancient Evil. Degree 2. What's the status on the O3 from Moon? Probably dead. Degree 3. How was Samuel able to hear Aether voices in Die Rise, but not in Buried? The sounds are those of the Jumping Jacks, which appeared only in Die Rise. Degree 1. What are the background stories of the N4? They tell us much of it. Misty was a farm girl. Marlton was a scientist. Samuel was a conspiracy nut. Russman was an agent. Degree 1. Which side of the Black Ops 2 Side Quests are canon? Both. Degree 1. What specifically was Broken Arrow? It was an organization. If you reword that to what exactly was its purpose, Degree 5. How has Russ been living so long and healthy? How has anyone? Degree 3. What is Russman's real name? Russman. He just doesn't remember if it is first or last. It is still his name. Full name would be Degree 5. What was the Purple Light from Die Rise about? Richtofen teleported them. Degree 1. What book does Samuel have during the events of all 3 N4 Maps? His diary. Degree 1.
  10. Both sides are canon. Just like how in one universe I had cake for breakfast and in another I had pie. (I'd have to be crazy in that universe probably. I don't like pie.) Anyhow, I think the concept for this post is great. As there are many unanswered questions. However, there are many questions that do have answers, just not fully proven ones. Many of the questions already posed do have answers you can deduce. I think the big mystery stuff is to think bigger, like, who exactly made up The Flesh? Or, what exactly was the Ultimate Plan? Perhaps there should be a "degree" of the mystery? Like: Degree 1: We know the answer. Degree 2: We are pretty sure we know the answer. Degree 3: We can deduce the answer. Degree 4: We have an unlikely theory on the answer, but it is the best we've got. Degree 5: We have no idea whatsoever. So, is it okay for me to give a whack at those questions? (even though Slade already did a good job)
  11. So, you know the square on the index page which broadcasts the User of the Month? What determines the text within it? I imagined that it would change every month with something saying why the person won. Is that the case? Right now for H-Warrior, all it says is statistical data. No offense, but I really don't care when anyone signed up or how many posts they make. If someone is supposed to be important (as in, User of the Month), then what I will care about is something saying why they won, not just a bunch of numbers and dates. Not to mention that it says whether he is online or not… I find that a bit creepy to be broadcasted. So… how exactly does it work?
  12. It is time to grab a soft drink and chicken sandwich folks! For my storyline video is finally complete! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KfLOdYcZOQ0 Keep in mind that it is a documentary. Anyhow, enjoy!

      Doing great so far MMX.

      Mr. Jay

Watched a bit of it. Narration is bit too fast.

Cut scenes on MOTD are great. Never seen those before.

Thank you Nathan. I appreciate it Jay, sorry about that. I just wanted to try to condense it as much as possible.

  13. Yes, I believe that. I think that explains how the cloud never goes away at all. As for the Perks, I think there could be a simple write-off solution for that like with the other maps.
  14. Sorry if I misunderstand you, but why can't a futuristic nuclear drill just have a continuous atomic explosion and thus mushroom cloud? Nukes last for mere hours, yes. But a nuclear drill, why can that not just last as long as it is active? As for why Nuketown, I believe your guess is as good as any. We will never know for sure, but that explanation makes sense. As for Maxis, he was lying. I like Maxis, don't get me wrong. Richtofen lied a lot more than he. But this, Maxis was lying around healing the Earth. When he said he'd minimize damage, he was being honest though. He would end Richtofen's torture with death. Put us out of our misery. (And him in control to find his daughter.) People toss around the term "endgame". But Maxis really… his plans were the Ultimate Plan and Plan B. The Ultimate Plan was his Der Riese days with a good conscience. His Plan B is the contorted and twisted thing we ended up with throughout Black Ops II.
  15. Thank you. Honestly, I don't think one should ever really upgrade a Wonder Weapon unless it is out of ammo, excepting special circumstances. Wonder Weapons are already really good without the upgrade. Save the upgrade for an ammo refill.
  16. Ha ha. The rest were spot on though, to my knowledge. I can't guarantee, but if you see me online on Xbox, you can hit me up.
  17. To use your words, Boom: False, while the upgraded Ray Gun deals the same exact damage in the immediate impact (i.e. one zombie), the damage given off by the splash radius (surrounding zombies) is doubled.
  18. "A Zombie Trilogy" is finished. The video is done. I'm not working on it anymore. I said it'd be up by January, but I am experiencing some financial delays that are outside of my control. Whenever the corporations decide to get back to me, I'll get back to you. Anyhow, expect it soon.

Nice Job MMX, I look forward to it. I hope putting it together wasn't frustrating you by the end.

Can you elaborate on the financial delays? If not here in PM perhaps. Just curious to what might stop you.

  19. Good work. Just some suggestions for the Persistent Upgrades section: The names for the Persistent Upgrades... They do not have names. Therefore, what you call them should be as generic and non-conjectural as possible, i.e. not using names coined by someone thinking it'd be a cool name. Quick-er Revive: Nice and straight to the point. Reaper: So, you reap? Does it give you a scythe? Where did that come from? Just call it Red Insta-Kill. Call it what it is. Metal Barriers: I would change it to Metal Barricades. It is just more accurate. Headshot Multiplier: Great and straight to the point. Cash Back: Coined by a Youtuber user, but I guess it is accurate, so I don't mind that one so much. Jugga-Jugga: Just sounds immature. Super Juggernog, Juggernog Plus, Juggernog Pro, anything of that nature I think would be more professional. Half Off: Just add a hyphen: Half-Off. Random Box+: If you're going to add a plus sign, I think you should be consistent, like Juggernog+, Quick Revive+. If not, name it something else, like Box Upgrade, just as an example. Flopper Lite: Good, I guess. Longshot: Same. Pseudo-Perma Perks: Perma Perk is a madeup term. And why pseudo? The keeping-one-Perk thing is just as much one as the others. Give it a nondescript name like the others, like Keep-One-Perk. (I am unaware if codenames exist for these things. If they do, that is new, and I apologize for my mistake.) Also, "Flopper Lite" neglects fall damage whether or not you're prone. Lastly, "associated Perk" or "associated Power-Up" is just unnecessary. Some, like the Quick Revive one, obviously are related to a Perk in a way. But some, like the cash back one, are related only through conjecture. I think it best to remove that entirely from your post, as it has no relevance. For example, how is the Headshot Multiplier related to Deadshot Daiquiri? Because it has to do with headshots? By that logic, guns are related to Deadshot Daiquiri. Like I said, cleanest solution is to remove that entirely. If you need help, I'd be happy to provide information.
  20. For me, a death trap is place you should not go to in the middle of the round, a place where, if you go down in the middle of the round there when you should not have been there, I will accept your death before it even happens. The death trap areas are where I won't even try to revive for fear of dying of zombies. Nacht: By Mule Kick Verruckt: BAR room Der Riese: Near Juggernog, near Grenades Kino: The Alley, Generator room Five: Hallways and small rooms on the 3rd floor Call of the Dead: Lighthouse balcony, either end of ship Shangri-La: In the mud, near Semtex Moon: No Man's Land Green Run: Pack-A-Punch tunnel, middle of the fog Great Leap Forward: bottom two floors of sweatshop Alcatraz Island: bathroom Resolution 1295: Processing, the maze, the mansion, the church Excavation Site 64: an unopened tunnel And lastly, corners. If you go down in a corner, scoot OUT of the corner so people can revive you without being mauled to death from behind.
  21. I have three. One, I called the Thunderguns the Thundergun Mark I, II, and III. And then we get the Ray Gun Mark II. Another, I predicted we'd go to Agartha, and made a map idea on it. In the game, we never actually see Agartha, but the game literally ends when we approach it. So I say close enough. Three, after Mob of the Dead, it could easily be seen that everything might've been a cycle. So Origins wasn't exactly a surprise in that regard. I'm not saying I made that happen, but I thought it was kinda interesting to be close. However, some things I don't think any of us could have predicted.
  22. I actually reference this in my storyline. No real big meaningful connection could I think up. Just that the Soviets took over many formerly Nazi (and American) facilities.
  23. The One Leap Forward achievement was literally just respawning. It wasn't intended for you to kill yourself. It was supposed to happen naturally. People just kill themselves because they want achievements really badly. This is a glitch, as the Elemental Fists are already themselves a Melee Weapon. Having their attributes transferred into another melee, a weaker variant like the Knife no less, is a glitch no different than the transfer of attributes of the PhD Flopper flop.
  24. The Zombies team contracted out to other companies like Raven software for much of their development span. Game development is tough; contracting help is a necessity. Still, the whole idea of a campaign team and a zombies team is just ridiculous. You know who made Zombies? Treyarch. That's as specific as we need to be.
  25. Just to repeat what others have said before, there has never been any difference in gameplay between playable characters besides aesthetics or the occasional blatant role in the Side Missions (like Richtofen, Samantha, and Arlington.)
