Thank you.

Does it still speed your RPM? Don't say yes unless you actually KNOW for SURE.

[i'll go back and read all the above posts to see what people think on this subject. For now, below:] What I think is that either A: The map is set in the future in an area where past ideals are common. Not exactly every place has updated with time. Castles still exist, but we are not in medieval times. B: The map is in an alternate history of the future in past, if that makes any sense. Kinda like a conglomeration. This idea is really just a backup idea for the first if some kinks could be worked out of this idea.

I don't have much to contribute, but I thought I'd say what I could: I tried to do the Maxis Easter Egg WITHOUT doing the Richtofen Easter Egg, however, no matter how much we waited for "Him", he never spawned. We quit the game more than 10 rounds later (about Round 17)

Is it not possible that probability was just not on your side?

All you have to do is check. I checked if it worked with my Galil by firing off one round at a wall. I saw two bullet holes. Check with whatever weapons you have. Btw, does is still speed your RPM? I don't think so, but I'm not sure.

It's not a glitch. It happens in-game as well on the menu. It makes sense. The reason lava is exposed everywhere is because of the missiles disrupting the Earth's innards, exposing lava on the surface. Tremors would likely be common, even ones that shake the whole Earth.

I know people say that, but people say a lot of things that aren't true. I want to know what kind of proof was clear enough to prompt Tac to make a thread based around it.

Barriers have varied for quite a while. It depends on what the window is. Ascension established metal poles being used as windows. Some windows in the games would vary up, sometimes boarding up wood, sometimes metal. I suppose BO2 may have just taken it to the next level.

How do you know Marlton was in the shelter at Nuketown?
-
Well either the art is quite abstract in nature from the actual Kino der Toten, or it just isn't Kino der Toten.

When he dies he makes a human-like groan. however his melee attack has the same accompanying sound as that of a regular zombie. I think it could go either way, i.e. we dont know for now.

I don't know how many times you are going to try to argue that the weapons are canon to anything. So with that, you're basis is on the bus driver alone. You are no more right than anyone else, it's all a matter of opinion, stop acting like you know everything. Excuse me? I'm not the one making a thread stating that it IS in the 1960's and that everyone else who says otherwise is an idiot. That's you and Shooter. Stop being so arrogant and close-minded. If everyone has their opinion, that at least carry yourself in a more humble fashion rather than re-posting this thread everywhere you can. EDIT: I obviously support the idea that this map takes place in the future, where the tag team of you and Shooter think otherwise. Your rebuttle is just insulting that the evidence I have simply does not count, whereas I could say the same that yours does not. This is not debating. This is backslapping. I don't want everyone to unanimously agree that this map takes place in the future. I support the future side as a possibility in every sense of the word. I honestly believe that until we have NON-controversial evidence, unlike a sign, which could be as much an allusion as the so-called new "Nacht der Untoten", or weapons, which have been a bit finicky canon-wise, that the date is actually UNKNOWN, since there are BOTH elements of the future and past. Retrofuturism. Honestly the game reminds me of Fallout. It may be a parallel universe for all we know. But the fact is WE DO NOT. And to say that it is without a doubt in the 1960's, I find slanderous upon CoDz, the community, Zombies, Call of Duty, and Treyarch.

I spared Harper at expense of the undercover terrorist. I saved Mason. I didn't know Karma could be saved... She just seemed to randomly be shot. I spared the admiral. I captured Menendez, thinking it was the right thing to do... couldn't have been more wrong...
-
Some things to consider: -Humans did not slap passers-by. -Humans did not scream randomly. -Humans did not reanimate. The idea is that these aren't regular Vril-Ya. But that they are mutated/zombified versions of them just like Zombies are to humans.
-
Your basis on the time of Nuketown is two signs... That is pure conjecture. They could be pure references, nothing more. You choose to ignore the sophisticated weaponry and robot driver over two signs in effort to get a date. Sure, the Nazis had advanced technology, and the Soviets and Americans caught up. But there would not be a robotic bus driver released to the public in '60's, only the future. Your initial assumption is wrong, and all that follows.
-
This is an excellent theory! In fact, it's the only one I've heard of besides "well I guess they're uh mutants or something". Great job!

I am 99% sure it is always Sam that Eddy talks to - either your game glitched out or.. I don't know really. I have never heard anyone other than Sam being talked to though. Were you playing solo or co-op? - Waffles I was playing with three other people online on Tranzit. I was looking directly at the person who was playing as Samuel. I was not him. I heard Richtofen. "Oh, it seems only you can hear me [...] and stop listening to the voices in your head!"
-
He is NOT the only person that can hear Richtofen. That is a myth. Richtofen randomly chooses one character each game and talks specifically to him. One time he talked to me alone when I was Russman.

How do YOU go about watching your videos?
-
I'm not sure. Theatre won't load more than 2 minutes' worth of footage for me, so it is next to useless for Zombie video capturing.
-
I'm a level 5 blue-eyes-and-skull, and I've played Tranzit almost exclusively.
