I'm definitely thinking this is hypnosis too. Maybe more MK-Ultra style brainwashing? Or maybe it's to help resurface suppressed memories? The flashes of the helicopter and soldiers make me think that these might be the visual memories from a soldier. - Mix

One thing I've learned about the internet is that if you have an opinion to share, no matter what it is, expect some douche bag to go out of their way to refute your opinion. IMO, to a certain degree, it's actually a sign of success to have haters on the internet. Liam's winning. It's been a couple years since I've been on the custom map scene. But after seeing Leviathon and the promise of Oil Rig, I'm def going to get back into it. I remember for every good map I played, there were like another 10 shitty ones I tried too. Lots of lame box maps. Bad glitches. Maps that are way too big and open (too easy), or way too tight to get trains going (too hard). But on the flip side I loved being able to play through these new experiences. Being able to fight zombies in totally new environments. The innovation and ideas implimented in the custom maps were often amazing. It definitely helps make the old new again. - Mix

In my head I'm imagine the custom map makers and what they do, they're basically forging their own pockets within the Rift (or alternate realities) each time they release a new map, Like out of the whole COD zombies community these guys are the mad scientist, the wizards, the architects of space/time within the group. What these guys do is so epic and incomprehensible to the average gamer. And I think it would be fun & cool to recognize them as such. So here's a few loose ideas I have based around that idea. 'Rift Weavers' or 'Rift Architects' 'The Wizards Guild' 'Portal Forgers' 'The Lost 935 Scientists' '115 Alchemists'

Although CoTD is not stationed in Antarctica, I believe there were several things from that map that were borrowed from this nazi mythology about a secret UFO base being there, and legends of an entrance to Shangri-la also being there. You should dive into the legends of Admiral Richard Byrd and his missing diary, if you're interested in diving more into this area of the storyline. - Mix

The left side is smudged (likely from finger prints). The right side is the ink smeared. To make matters worse it has a red X on it, and a piece of scotch tape. The only details I can really make out are on the bottom. Looks like this person is possibly wearing a military uniform, as it matches the same color tones as the other portraits. I looked at all the portraits from Kino der Toten, including the black sillouette, and none of them seem to match this one. By process of elimination I'd like to say it's Richtofen, but I honestly have no clue. - Mix

Ah, absence makes the heart grow fonder. But no, I feel you on that, BO1 was the best! Probably my fav game ever. BO2 just didn't have the same flavor. IMO it was because they tried to do too much with it. I mean Tranzit was a disaster. Nuketown was honestly my fav BO2 map, and that might be because it has an old-school feel to it. We all miss the O4. I think there's a good possibility for the O4 to come back. I think Origins was a good sign of that. If the devs truly care about what their their fans want, then this needs to happen. It's not just me or you that wants these characters back; Everyone wants them back. I also miss playing a game that has historical roots. I don't think I need another WW2 game just yet, but I would prefer it over something sci-fi/futuristic. BTW, I revisited NML today and it was awesome! - Mix
