*drops brick of gold in trousers* I helped make a thread that Spiderbite used in a video. That made my day. I imagine you're 2x as thrilled as I am, Pinnaz, you are the author of course EDIT: Can someone post said video, or link it, I would be interested in watching it.

If you think your theory is right then go ahead and prove us wrong, until then, people are still going to spout out sparatic and complicated theories until they are proven untrue. ;)
-
Finally, someone who believes in the alternate timeline theory. What exactly is your theory?

Let's just hope that Treyarch gives us more story-wise in Die Rise than they did in Green Run. Fair enough, I almost forgot the main reasons they went to these maps. I remember reading it from a Treyarch developer. I'll sift through some old interviews and find you the link. That's actually the most popular theory on Nuketown right now. But just as it could happen in 2025, it could happen in 1960. It's still all speculation as you said. But, in my defense, the little quote under Moon when you look at it in the zombie menu, it's a quote from J.F.K isn't it. And I don't need to tell you that J.F.K was president during the 60's. Why have a quote from J.F.K on a map from 2025?
-
Nope... Because Five happens at the same time as Assension, and one quote from richtofen says: We must have gone too far into da future in COTD, the map after Assension... But how do you know CotD is after Accention? I know it came out after Accention, but that doesn't mean it happened first. Treyarch told us that Nacht Der Untoten was the second zombie outbreak, but it was the first map. They're not always given out in order. Also, the moon easter egg is happening during Nuketown. Would nuclear testing still be going on during 2025? I find it hard to believe. Nuclear testing did go on in the 1960's though.

*slaps forehead* I knew I recognised those towers from somewhere. Good find.

Actually, Shi No Numa had a large 115 meteor sitting outside the map that the characters would comment on when you interacted with it. If a missle delivered this missle to Shi No Numa, then it's likely to have taken out the whole area, because we're talking about a HUGE meteor. Also Nuketown is a nuke testing site, you also here radios from the Moon Easter Egg while playing, and there's a huge mushroom cloud in the sky when you start up the map. Pretty sure it's a rocket. "But how would four people survive a rocket hitting the map" Well, they didn't, maybe they were sent to investigate. Maybe they were there to drag Marlton out of the bunker. We can't be sure yet. But, yeah, pretty sure it was a rocket at Nuketown.

Truer words were never spoken Yeah, I kept hearing that guy talk and had no idea what he was talking about, but I figured ever console had it. When I found out the audio loop was exclusive to the Wii, I began to formulate a theory. MixMasterNut had the same idea, so we came together and made a little thread explaining what the audio was. 115-infused steel would fall under the same theoretical catagory as the Perk-a-Colas. Say, for instence, after the Great Leap Forward, China had an excess amount of Nantan-made, 115-infused steal. And they sent it to their friends the Russians, or they bought it off of China, or maybe they get their 115 steel from the Tungusta (spelled it wrong) but somehow, Russa ends up with 115 steel. Now, it's already been reported that Nantan meteors/115 meteorites are "special" So the Russians began to study it, or, maybe the Russian goverment just used it to make a laboratory or even a residental house. That means someone has to touch the 115 steel, and as soon as that person dies, they'll be zombie-fied, causing an outbreak. Same with the Perk-a-Colas, they were invented to turn regular soldiers, into super-soldiers (like Captain America) but many soldiers died on the battlefield, so the 115 in their stomachs begin the process of bringing the soldiers back to life. And then you have your appacolypse. During the Die Glocke (the inspiration for the teleporter in Kino Der Untoten on the stage) experiments during the early 40's, most of the scientist who worked on the experiments, or most of anyone who came close to the Die Glocke while it was running, became either sick or dead. According to the game, the Die Glocke runs off of 115. So living in a house made of 115, or studying 115 in a lab for multiple years, would turn your body into a zombie in mere seconds or maybe even minutes. If this train of thought is correct, this would explain the outbreak at five, Accention, and possibly CotD. The pentagon scientist retrieve 115 meteorites during "opperation paperclip" (a special-op in 1945/46 that involved the American Government taking German's scientific everything, from blueprints, to equipment, to their scientist) and apparently the Nova-Crawlers as well as we see them make an appearance on Five and we see the canisters littering the labs. All it would take is one crawler to get loose and the outbreak at Five would occur. But, according to Black Ops intel, there was a stand-off between the Russians and Americans at Der Riese during "Operation Paperclip" and the Russians made it off with some of the scientific loot (explaining why the Thundergun has Russian writing on it, despte Richtofen saying "So this is what Maxis was hiding from me" and Richtofen calls the Thundergun the "DG3") and then the Russians are in the same boat as the Pentagon scientist. Explaining Accention. I flew way off-topic, didn't I? what I'm basically trying to say is that the 115 steel could be relevant in the aspect that it could explain a few of the outbreaks, among other things. Feel free to poke holes, I know I left one open somewhere :D

Well, Green Run in fact did have radios, they were just heard through the TV in farm. You can get up to 5 transmissions play for you. Radios that give more storyline information. Like the Der Riese radios.

Fair enough, you win this round toasty boy, but I'll be back.

Carbon, or anyone who knows, what is a "production QA" it's been bugging me since this thread was made. But I don't know what that job is
-
Ahhh, I see. Maxis talks through electronics, but when there on, it dissrupts communication. Thank you Titan *thumbs-up*

Tad late, aren't you Way. We might of needed your help earlier. But I'm pretty sure we're all on the same page now. Everything is just peachy in CoDz-land The 29 is just around the corner, then we'll know.

There is a lot of off-the-wall speculation. Good to see your post Pinnaz, it was interesting. I, in doubt believe that the Moon Map was set during the 60's. Our story timeline roughly resembles history, in a weird Zombiefied way. The maps from World at War obviously occured through the 1940's (end of WW2). Black Ops featured the maps 'Five' & 'Ascension' which was primarily highlighting the 'Space Race' between America & the Soviet's (Russia). Nuclear Atomic Testing was strong through the 1960's aswell (Nuketown). Moon & Nuketown occur at the same time, so I highly doubt that America is testing nuclear detonations in the present or future time. Look at the props for Nuketown & Green Run, classic 1960's. The Missiles from moon were launched, and it stopped industrial development as the population was pretty much Zombiefied. Sure the Power Room & Pap rooms look highly advanced, but that will only be explained as the story develops and we find out about secret organisations that were involved. This is why i believe that Moon occured during the 1960's Green Run & Die Rise time? We will only find out soon, hopefully.

I also appologize, since I can see how my post can be seen as dickish. But I thought you were being sarcastic about the Russman thing? Whoops

Spleens and Cannibals
killallzombies replied to deathb4di2h0nor's topic in General Zombies Discussion
I think the quote about cheese from Stu might have been referencing Treasure Island. Where a marooned sailor was obsessed with cheese. Leading him to say "I need ammo, I need ammo and cheese, oh how I love cheese." But that's just my opinion. I like your theory, it's interesting and has almost no grammatical errors (you don't know how happy it makes me to read a post that doesn't involve the letter "x" in place of "s".) Also, I'd like to note that Richtofen seemed quite sane until he touched the pyramid on moon, where he begins to "hear the voices" (can be heard in Moon radio) So maybe the forces who control the pyramid (purphaps satan as you said) wants flesh. You have to kill zombies in front of the pyramid for the moon easter egg. and under the pylon in Green Run. I have no further questions, I mostly posted this so I could have a bookmark on this thread, so I could see the debates that ensue. -
Pump your brakes. http://www.officialplaystationmagazine. ... allery-top "some website" Check Not provable information from said random website Check Looks like DB4H might be right. Treyarch said that there was and never will be a way to win zombies.

Nuketown Zombies Chess
killallzombies replied to ZombicidalManiac's topic in General Zombies Discussion
I KNEW I recognised that chess board from somewhere. I agree, unfinished, with recycled props, I'm dissapointed. And people keep telling me to wait for DLC before I pass judgement...Phssss, TO HELL WITH DLC. -
"Good, you have freed it (the Avagadro), but now you must turn off the power. An active power grid will disrupt all communications" -Maxis, Green Run, After you turn on the power How would destroying the "evil radio box...thingy" stop Maxis from talking with him, it would actually improve communication. On the other hand, it seems as if Richtofen needs the power to be on in order to communicate. Or maybe Richtofen's side is only activated by turning on the power for gameplay purposes *shrug*

Back ops 2 might have to be 2 disc game?
killallzombies replied to SEAtacticsFTW's topic in Treyarch
Yeah, I was kind of hoping for a second disc too, but I guess not. *shrug* -
In your reply to EJ, you said "fourth character" not "Russman" or whoever your refering to, I'm not even sure anymore. first it was Russman. Then we talked about Takeo and the W@W trailers Then I got proved wrong, by you, which I acknowledged and man-ed up to. (Does that sound like someone who's trying to make you look dumb?) Then you asked if EJ (or Taklok, you never specified) had been around when the Green Run trailer dropped, and when people questioned the "fourth character" Toward the end, I pointed out my interpetation of the "fourth character" and how he made almost no appearances in the Green Run trailer, and how he was important. (Also, Mr.Roflwaffles and MrDalekJD predicted before the maps release that the fourth character who made little appearance, Samuel, would be important to the story) Then you and the other guy got into a little argument (which, by the way, entertained me to no end) Then you claimed I was trying to make you look dumb. (Suttlty *I spelled it wrong* is not my speciallty, if I wanted to call you dumb or an idiot, I would've come out and said it) Then I posted this, where I explain how your "fourth character" was by no means clear.

Thanks ZotD, I owe you one (on a side note: good to see you still lurk the forums ZotD) I laughed pretty hard at the last couple of comments. All these people telling me to "get my crap straight" when they themselves can't keep there own ideas straight. thumbs up to you guys.

I didn't call you a child, did I? *Re-reads his previous post* Not that I'm aware of. I didn't know you were being sarcastic, it seemed as if you genuinley believed Aperature was linked to the story somehow. Your defenition of a theory is awfully close to my own. I'm not trying to troll you, I'm just finding some of your points confusing. Like, in your first post, when you said Samuel was in the goverment. It seemed like you were stating it as a fact. Like you had proof it was true. But, in reality, you were just speculating an idead, and I misunderstood you. If anyones seems closed minded, I'd say you. Saying that all the theories and suggestions on this site are "over-complicated" and untrue.
-
Oh yeah, I remember then. People flipped out when Samuel only made, like 2 appearances in the Green Run trailer, and in both he had his back turned to the camera. Those silly people, turns out he had no importance at all. You know, besides being a huge part of the easter egg on Rictofen's side of the easter egg. *return-facepalm*
