  1. It just common word. Not to mention they recycle map names... Dome ring any bells for instance? Dome? was it used somewhere else in CoD before it was a MW3 map?
  2. But why would Treyarch name their zombie map after a MW2 map MW2= Infinity Ward, sworn nemesis to treyarch fans, and the makers of the multiplayer map "high rise" Black Ops II= Treyarch, inventors of nazi zombies, and a company that has a distaste for Infinity Ward very unlikely that the zombie map would be named after the opposing companies creation. but maybe I'm wrong *shrug*
  3. Alpha's writing a book? and I didn't know about it? I apparantly fail at life. Sign me up for a copy of it.
  4. The teleporters, the Wunderwaffe, the perk machines, the Pack-a-punch, the thundergun, the gersch device. They all are supposedly run by 115. Yes, the bus isn't necisarily run on electricity, but the bus does seem to run for ever on nothing.
  5. Yes,Tac is one of the most articulate and important members of CoDz I used to practically idolize Tac, I used to call myself "his biggest fan" as a joke. Aww, I'm blushing But back on topic, my theory is that each tower and each Nav Card will become influential in the way we play. While each may not play a role singularly right now, I can see the towers combing to do something and the Nav Cards combining. Now, to what extent of what they will do is up for debate. Personally, I see something happening where as they release the next map, they make a cutscene of the Bus leaving Green Run. We know it drove from Nevada to Washington, so that doesn't mean it's necessary for it to be close. Just for it to be driving off in the distance and next map have it pull up somewhere, that is assuming we stay on the mainland of the United States, which I believe will happen. Good thread deathb4di2h0nor, I'll be keeping an eye on it. What is the bus running on, there seems to be only one source where one could possibly obtain gas, at the dinner. Do you reckon it runs off of 115? That seems like a cop out for most electrical devices in the game. Maybe it does run off of gasoline, but the game doesn't make you refill your tank for gameplay purposes. *shrug*
  6. I would throw an epic b*tch fit if I had to download a DLC pack to get the rest of the Easter Egg. I hate DLC.
  7. Yeah, they weren't all that great, I always managed to hurt myself with them.
  8. Do you have some kind of special outfit for snowy days like today? Yes actually. The material of the clothing is called NanoFlex. It is special because it is one of the few materials that is waterproof, while still breathable. It's kind of like RainX. The water just beads off the material. Is it comfortable? I'm so glad 4kids went bankrupt and sold their block, I dislike 4kids.
  9. ahhh hahaha You sir, are awesome. +1 Isn't the molotovs only in the W@W maps?
  10. Truer words were never spoken. I have been around for one and a half years, and I'm just now to the point where I get noticed. It's been a long time coming, but if you stick around long enough, you'll learn some tricks of the trade about this site. :D
  11. I'm such a hipster, I have to go with monkey bombs, they're just classic I had monkeys when they were on vinly.
  12. Yes, these are the ones I'm refering to. There is one right at the beginning of the corn maze, it is the only one that seems remotely reachable.
  13. I thought so aswell, but I'm unaware of what purpose it plays. You want to chat about it over PM?
  14. Do you have some kind of special outfit for snowy days like today?
  15. Hello Aidan, and welcome to Call of Duty Zombies. The best website on the face of the interwebz. So, you're a cyclist? You must be in great shape, what kind of bikes do you own. I have always been a big fan of Mongoose bikes. I hope you enjoy yourself on CoDz. If you have any questions, just ask me or one of the mods.
  16. I have noticed that there seems to be more pylons than the one that is included in the Tower of Babel Easter Egg, but they seem to be unreachable.
  17. Have you ever noticed that if you use the EMP grenades next to a power-up, the power up disappears. I EMP'd a max ammo by accident, and it left, it just f*cking left. I was so mad. But then, at the end of the round, a max ammo spawned.
  18. You've read the thread as well, I hope this happens too. Tac really does his research and I haven't questioned him, only asked him questions. Tac is probably one of the most influential members on this site as far as story goes. Yes sir, I have read that thread. Yes,Tac is one of the most articulate and important members of CoDz I used to practically idolize Tac, I used to call myself "his biggest fan" as a joke.
  19. I know, mate. I meant that I feel we'd be subconsciously comparing it to Black Ops, even if we didn't mean to. But I guess there are some things I have to say. Good: -Bus is fun to use. Nothing quite like killing zombies on the roof of a moving vehicle. -Buildables are neat to use, most particularly the Zombie Shield. -Pretty big, about 2-3 "Moon"s -Characters are likeable, as always. -It's great hearing Richtofen as the announcer -Pack-A-Punching twice! We've been wanting that for ages! -Saving things from game-to-game is terrific. Storing weapons, points, and even EE progress is astounding and something we weren't expecting! -Double Tap II is actually a perk worth getting now. -The NDU easter egg was a nice nod to the players who've been onboard since the very beginning. -No overly annoying special zombies like George or Napalm. Avogadro is easy to take out compared to these guys, and Denizens only come out in the fog. Bad: -The map isn't NEARLY as big as Treyarch and journalists hyped it up to be. It's composed of 4 NDU's (and an actual NDU ironically lol) and a quarter of Der Riese in terms of size. They made it out to be as if they were 4-5 large maps like Der Riese all connected by a road and the bus. The map is "artificially" big, as in the roads are long simply to give you that feeling that the map is huge. It's big, yes, but not HUGE like everyone before the game came out said. -Removing perks, especially Mule Kick. Treyarch, you were so happy that people loved Mule Kick so much that you put it in every map in Black Ops, then you decide to take it out? Why? -Although Denizens aren't that bad to kill, they are annoying as hell when you're traversing the fog. Yes, we were told to be cautious when entering the fog, but come on, getting head-raped by millions of these things make exploring your map to its fullest potential impossible. -PaP'ing multiple times only works on 2025 weapons, and only gives them new attachments. We were expecting a higher damage increase to help in the later rounds, but whatever. Beggers can't be choosers, right? Then again, why do we have to beg? -The Jet Gun is, well, underwhelming. It takes some time to recharge, and if you mess up with it, it scatters the parts again. Plus, we can't even upgrade it. It's a neat concept for a Wonder Weapon, but there was so much potential that went to waste for it. That's all I have to say about it for now. This is close enough to save a bunch of typing. Agreed, what he put just about sums up my feelings on BO2.
  20. You've read the thread as well, I hope this happens too.
  21. I never noticed that. If the black ops maps showed up on the globe, it would answer some questions we have about location. I don't think that moon or Shangri-la will be accesible, because they wouldn't fit on the globe, and if the were on the globe, it would take the mystery out of the game.
  22. No, if they didn't do a good job to begin with, than that's it. I am a firm disbeliever in DLC. -- I like the survival maps, they're pretty fun. -- I don't like the lack there-of of wall weapons in Town. -- I don't like the denziens, or the fog that much. I could go on all day, but overall I like the game.
  23. Huh, are you talking about me or samuel. I do enjoy being right. :D
  24. My mission is completed, someone agrees with me. +50
