Zombie Player Cards - Could this mean XP?

Actual photo from Trailer; Should be interesting to see what they do with it. -
[center:1v6rob37]Hi guys, I was recently replaying the Black Ops campaign to beat the game on Veteran once again, and I found some interesting things throughout the mission. There were various things that hinted towards the future of the storyline, the continuation to Black Ops 2, and some other easter eggs I thought were interesting. One of the first you will notice is Reznov comes into the scene just as Mason is about to drown, which means that he has some interaction with the gameplay. This means that either Masons' hallucinations were sincere enough to affect interaction in the actual mission, or Reznov's appearance has some importance. The next thing I noticed was the fact that Reznov points out something about Woods; This quote was very interesting in the sense that later on in the story when Woods "dies" his shadow appears just before Reznov appears to help Mason up. The next interesting thing that I found was that on the SOG Knife that you use in the mission, there are the round tally marks from Zombies, a total of around 10 or 11. Nothing happens for quite a while at this time, but Reznov appears once again at the time just before Swift dies in the tunnel. This just correlates to the story, but I found it interesting that lots of these hints are found in this mission. Next, Reznov helps you move the crates, which means he has game interaction, which can mean two things; -Reznov was not a hallucination, but an actual character that helped Mason throughout the levels, or two; -Another character was hallucinated as Reznov (Woods perhaps?) Next we see Reznov take down an enemy. His fighting style is very similar to that of Woods. Just something I thought was interesting. Some other interesting quotes; "Follow your instincts Mason" -Reznov, can be referring to his hallucinations "VC, Mason!" - Reznov, I have never heard Reznov refer to the Viet Cong as VC before At the end of the mission, Reznov does not jump onto the Helicopter with you and Woods. This is just one of the missions I found was overlooked but I found very interesting; if you have any feedback at all that'd be great. Thanks [/center:1v6rob37]

Just thought I'd inform you guys of this. Thoughts on this? I'll do a bit of researching later.

Thought I would point this out to you guys, don't think it has been posted before. It's basically confirmed now that Reznov will be returning in Black Ops 2. There were just rumors of his appearance based on the hints that were left, but Gary Oldman's Wiki Page has been updated; This is really interesting to see how he comes back in the game, maybe he'll appear in the flashbacks to 80s? Your thoughts on this?

The Meaning of Jimmy Zielinski's New Tweet
John replied to ACEGamer95's topic in General Zombies Discussion
At the time of the tweet he had 5,115 followers on Twitter at that exact time. Since then he has gained more, but yes he is obviously referring to Element 115. -
This is purposely put there, but it has a small relevance, just the fact that you walked into the bathroom. Dempsey says this exact quote upon entering the bathroom;

The Meaning of Jimmy Zielinski's New Tweet

*Updated* with the EPR paradox theory. Anyone have any ideas on this? -
The Meaning of Jimmy Zielinski's New Tweet
John replied to ACEGamer95's topic in General Zombies Discussion
Hey guys, so Jimmy tweeted this wiki page on his twitter, or updated his info; Now, first looking at this, it may seem just to be a biography, but I went around to his publications, and checked each of his works, and found that most of them had to do with Psychology, and spirits and such, but one linked work of his linked to this; Cover art look familiar anyone? Not an exact match, but I think it's close enough, no? Also, the short info box on Google's ebook site; ultimate nature of our universe...Quantum mechanics, relativity, and beyond to the Einstein-Podolsky-Rosen effect and Bell's theorem. We've seen a lot of the stated above in Zombies haven't we? I'll look more into this, but I just wanted to get this out to you guys. I might be wrong with the Black Sun part, but the part about the book seems to definitely fit. Tell me what you guys think. ****UPDATE**** I may have found something extremely important in the actual book. If you look in the sample book on Google eBooks found here the book talks quite a lot involving the EPR paradox, which was an "early and influential critique leveled against quantum mechanics. Albert Einstein and his colleagues Boris Podolsky and Nathan Rosen (known collectively as EPR) designed a thought experiment intended to reveal what they believed to be inadequacies of quantum mechanics. To that end they pointed to a consequence of quantum mechanics that its supporters had not noticed." For more information about it; http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/EPR_paradox I'll be looking more into the EPR paradox, as I'm reading about it now, and I've found that a lot about what we see in Zombies is linked to this. -
For those of you saying that it is not leaked information if Zielinski has leaked it, Zielinski is in fact leading us to Zombies, but the information behind it is not leaked, it is found by research. That isn't the part that breaks the rules...

The HAARP is not necessarily a weapon, but a program that is suggested powered by Element 115, and can be used to control the weather. I do believe we will be seeing more of the "Tesla-like weapons" such as the Wunder-Waffe and the Zap guns in the next game, but only time will tell.

See, for players like me that use Tactical layout, layouts different from Default button layouts, this is completely different. The "reflex" (As said above) is the issue. You get so used to pressing the analog stick to knife, that at times your first reaction is to knife them. There are various things wrong with this. I play on Tactical, along with a majority of players, and even when we're in tight spaces, our first reaction is not to hit the "B" button as it is set for Tactical layout. We have to shift our right hand from the analog stick to the B button, while Default users can easily click the button out of pure reflex. I can say that honestly, I have panic knifed in Black Ops (Around) 2-5 times, no more. You also have to think about this, they are not eliminating panic knifing as a whole at all, in fact, it will still be very frequent. From the rumors we have heard, it will be 2 knives for one kill. If a Default user runs around a corner, encountering a tactical user, at the same time, the Default user is going to panic knife, requiring one more knife to kill. The Tactical user will not do the same, as we are just used to shooting down our enemy, instead of knifing. Now, the Tactical user will have half of his health down, while he can still shoot the enemy, and the default user can either choose to knife again (Which he will most likely die from) or finish shooting, while the Tactical user has the same amount of time to shoot down the enemy, while the enemy was in the process of knifing. Now, both Default users, and Tactical users will have the same amount of chance to kill each other.

I really think this was a great addition. The customization now will be extremely fluent throughout the game. I also think this is a great addition for people that play in different playstyles, such as Quickscopers, Knife-Onlys, and such like that. So if I wanted to knife only I wouldn't waste a point on a Primary Weapon when I'm using Knife only, I can use the points on making the class more efficient for knifing. This will really change up the customization in the game, I think this was a great addition, and should turn out really well. :)

Past 3 tweets from Vahn; Also, if you look at the first one, he retweeted a tweet about one of the fans owing him a trailer. Also, on his Facebook, he released a Soundcloud sound that sounded somewhat similar towards that of a leveling up sound, or sometype of Killstreak. Also, he released an image as towards the beginning of a trailer, with the "Viewer Discretion" Message. I have a feeling we'll be seeing sometype of new trailer sometime soon.

The rumor about theater mode being involved in Zombies is a rumor. The image that was spread around, was not from an official source, it was just a fan-made twitter account, that spread the rumor. Along with that, including a theater mode into the game would be extremely difficult, reason being, is file size. Zombies games are not the same length amount of games as it is in MP. MP games usually last around 7-11 minutes, maybe even less, and this is the main reason why implementing theater mode into the MP system was essentially easy, because the time intervals of each game were so short, and periodically the recorded games could be deleted after some 60 of your own games were recorded. The older recorded games would be recycled with newer gameplays, and the process would continue. From what I can see, the issue with incorporating Zombies into theater mode, is the fact that the theater mode can only hold so many gameplay recordings (Around 100 or so?) before recycling new ones. Now, zombies games usually last around an hour and a half- 3 hours (on average) and if they were recorded in theatre, the file size of each gameplay would be immense. Even if you split the game into parts, the area that stores the recordings, would already be using 25-30 slots each time you played a decent sized Zombie game, therefore taking up extreme amounts of space per game. As for the Paris map, I do believe indeed that we will be seeing the map, no matter what. So far, the boards in Der Riese have not lied yet, and I don't believe they are going to do so. Also, there was a recently developed theory of one of the next zombies maps to be held in England, with some pictures on the Der Riese boards as well, so I think we'll be seeing some gameplay in England as well. Should be interesting to see :)

Very nice thread you've got here, really well thought out [brains] Thought I'd add a couple to the thread; The Disks found on Moon, is actually almost identical to a Dropa stone. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dropa_stones Dropa stones were also found in Mt.Baigong, and I've developed a theory on the dropa stones and the mountain here. This can develop into the theory of how, if so , Shangri la was transported to Moon. I also believe that the message on the Gongs have some association to do with the EE, and also involved in the beliefs of Tibetan Buddhism; Also, the 31-79 has some association to be powered by the Dragon stone, and I'm still not sure whether the stone can have some relevance to the rest of the name, but I'll try researching to see if I can find anything about it. Also, the Element 115 suggestions are quite well developed. The advanced technology suggests Vrill Ya inhabitations, and the group 935 theory could also work. Overall nice thread :)

What they mean by brushing up on Ulyssess, is most likely because Raul Menendez will be delivering his virals (On the Cordis Die Youtube Page) In verses from Ulysses' poems. For example, the first viral from the Cordis Die Youtube Page was the following video: New World The video is actually an excerpt from the poem "Ulysses" written by Alfred Lord Tennyson. Here is the poem; http://www.eecs.harvard.edu/~keith/poems/Ulysses.html And here is the exact location of the excerpt from the poem, towards the end of it. What I'm guessing is that the next virals will be delivered in excerpts from the Ulysses poem, or maybe from similar works. From the first poem, I think we can easily infer that Menendez or whoever is speaking in the video, is encouraging the "99%" to join him in establishing a new government, and creating a new world.

Me and most of my friends attend the midnight premiere, and I'm usually the first one to get the game out of us So as soon as I get back, I usually play 1 game of Multiplayer by myself, and when the rest get on, we play in groups of 4 and play Zombies. At least that's what we did for Black Ops So realistically; Multiplayer > Zombies > Campaign

Hans Kammler, and his Association to Nazi Zombies
John replied to John's topic in General Zombies Discussion
Now that you mention it, it would make almost perfect sense that Kammler escaped to Neuschwabenland, especially with the Vrill members. If you check this source, it gives some basic background information on both Kammler, and the Vrill, and their association to each other. Perhaps he attempted to continue his work in Neuschwabenland, or continue the Vrill projects there as well? http://www.bibliotecapleyades.net/cienc ... ects55.htm -

That's also another aspect that can contribute to the storyline. Woods is meeting Menendez, to receive the Heart Shaped pendant. At the time of the date in the vault (June 25th 2025) Menendez is meeting with Woods, but at the same time, Menendez is wanted as a Nacro Terrorist and is under the speculation of being behind the Cordis Die faction. Why would he be in the United States, if he's wanted? Also, if you check the date on the speculations of his association with Cordis Die, the date is in 2001. The date when he visits Woods' is in 2025. By this point, why would Raul Menendez be in the United States?

Hi Codz. Well, recently I was watching the Villain trailer once again, because I was developing a theory as towards the time of day in the vault, and whether or not, the person talking to Woods in the reveal trailer was Raul Menendez, as the lighting and such was identical, and I had paused a part of the video where the lighting could prove one of my theories, and I found something very interesting. I paused the villain trailer at the location where Menendez is walking past Woods, to make a dramatic scenario, around 0:50. At this location, you can see the following: Now, if you look at the bottom right of the screen at this moment, you can see somewhat of a TV screen with the text "ControME". At first this seemed nothing more than a cable menu, or something similar to that, but I decided to search to see if I could find anything. One of the first results that I found, was a German product website, that was advertising their product ControME. Basically, ControME is a smart home product (Typically meant for elders) that can perform various tasks, such as monitoring the weather, calculating certain temperatures, setting dates, alarms, and so on. The site is still in development, and is entirely in German, but you can translate the entire web page to English if you have Google Chrome. Here is the website; http://www.controme.com/ This is where more of my theory comes into play. Right now, there is not much to support this, but I have a feeling that if more information about the vault is released, this theory could be true. As of right now, the product is still being developed, and is still in its early stages of development. Also, it is not completely available for purchase, but from what I've seen, the only payment option is Euros. Also, the system is configured in German. The product is still in development, so let's say in the somewhat near to distant future, the product will be completely finished (Let's say about 2020s or so?). The vault entry is from the year 2025; 2025 would seem to be a reasonable date as towards when the final product of ControME is finished, correct? The product is only produced in Germany, and is configured in German, so wouldn't it make somewhat sense that if ControME is installed somewhere (not exactly sure where) in Germany? Also, the widgets on the ControME screen in the trailer correlate with some options presented in actuality. Thermostat: Thermostats have been used. heizManager is with all of its intelligent functions are fully integrated into the smart home controme. Shading: A perfect shade can improve your indoor climate in summer considerably. In winter, the shade helps reduce energy consumption. Whether blind, blind, or blind - with controme to control their optimum shade. Also, once Menendez walks past Woods, you can see the left corner of the monitor. You can see the following; Here, we figure out the time of the meeting (Which is figured to be 12:23 PM, also no way of telling whether it is CET time. Also, next to the time, there is some illegible text that is too blurry to read, but from what I can see, it looks as if sometype of foreign language. My next piece of evidence, which is very hard to lean on, is the window in the area. In the window, you can see that there is some forest land, and muggy fog. Judging from this little piece of evidence, we can infer that the area is somewhat muggy, and somewhat forest-land. Using a survey of the land, Germany is consisted of around 31% of forestland, which can be used to support the forestland that the area is in. Also, the temperature in Germany does not typically tend to reach extremely hot, but tends to stay in the cool climate. This can also support this theory, as the time is only 12:23 PM, and it is rainy and damp outside. Please let me know what you all think of this, as this took quite some time to complete. Thanks

Hans Kammler, and his Association to Nazi Zombies
John replied to John's topic in General Zombies Discussion
Sorry if I was unclear about the part with the deaths, but I wasn't necessarily referring to the dates, as they are completely unconfirmed. The dates weren't the significant part of the picture, it was the methods of how he was killed. The first 2 being associated with suicide, one shooting himself in the head, and the other being taking the cyanide pills. This has relevance because in the Der Riese radios, the man cocks his weapon, and attempts to shoot himself in the head. The second method it is conspired that Hammler killed himself was by taking a Cyanide pill. The theory mentioned on the Wiki page is that he took one of the cyanide pills to kill himself. Sorry if I was unclear about the part about the dates, as the dates don't have much relevance, as they are completely rumored, and don't have much evidence at all as towards when he died, but I was aiming more towards the theory of how he died. -

First and foremost, I would like to thank julpr, for allowing me to create a theory thread based on his findings. If it weren't for his findings, I would have never completed this theory. Original thread where julpr mentions the resemblance of Hans Kammler; viewtopic.php?f=53&t=22995 General Doctor of Engineering Hans Kammler General Back-story: General Hans Kammler would seem to be nothing more than a part of the SS, with the title of Doctor of Engineering. Now, along with his somewhat mediocre backstory, there has been much controversy as towards conspiracies, and his involvement in creating Nazi Superweapons (Wunder Waffen). Now as interesting as this may seem, there was more to his involvement than it may seem. Hans Kammler was also a leader of the project Die Glocke. Now, if you don't know what Die Glocke is, I suggest you look around the forums, as there are tons of topics involving this, but basically, Hans Kammler was one of the leaders of Die Glocke, which was a project involving creating super weapons for the Nazis, and this also involved teleportation, and these aspects. Now, as this may seem irrelevant, this struck my interests when Juplr mentioned that one of the Nazi Zombies on Nacht Der Untoten had almost identical facial structure. When he mentioned this, my mind immediately struck back to Group 935, and Die Glocke. Also, doesn't it make sense that one of the leaders of Die Glocke, and if he was indeed apart of Group 935, wouldn't it make sense that he became a zombie at Der Riese? I'll get more into that a bit later. Let's look at the similarties between the zombie at Nacht Der Untoten, and Hans Kammler; (Credit to juplr once again for finding the picture of the zombie, and the resemblance) As you can see from both of the photos, both the zombie, and Hans both are apart of the SS, both judging from the uniform, and the SS skull on Hans' hat. Also, they both seem to have the pale skin tone, the similar droops under the eyes, similar nose structure, and so on. Not only this, but one of the most interesting aspects of the life of Hans Kammler, is the fact that his death is unknown and his body was never recovered. From the information above, and the fact that he was one of the leaders of Die Glocke, let's make an educated guess, and say that in the world of Nazi Zombies, Hans Kammler was indeed apart of Group 935 and was at Der Riese. Also, I'm almost completely sure that on one of the chalk boards in Der Riese, there is the word "Hans" which can also be a reference to Hans Kammler. If Hans Kammler's body was never recovered, there is a high probability that he died in Der Riese (Speaking Nazi Zombies of course, not actuality). Here is a very important radio that most of you are aware of, which is on the map Der Riese. From the quote, the Man is talking about Cyanide pills, which were issued to each of the scientists at Der Riese. If anything were to go wrong, the scientists were to take the pills, for immediate suicide. So if we were to infer that Hans Kammler was indeed apart of Der Riese, he was to be issued the pills correct? So let's say that he was issued the pills at Der Riese. The Zombie out break occurrs, Hans Kammler takes the Cyanide pills and is killed. Now, I'm not completely inferring that this was just Hans Kammler that was killed at Der Riese, but suicide was an uttermost option if something like an outbreak were to occur. We also do know that Element 115 had the ability to reanimate dead cells, so let's say that these scientists take the cyanide pills, and through the outbreak, the dead cells are able to reanimate, with of course the "side effects". The same thing can be applied for all scientists at Der Riese. Suicide > Element 115 > Reanimation of Dead cells > More Zombies, essentially. This is where the almost identical facial structure of the zombie from Nacht Der Untoten, and the face of General Hans Kammler seem to tie up. There are no actual accounts of Hans Kammler's death, and his body was never recovered. To most this may have seemed like a Nazi-Escape-route-to-South-America, but considering he was involved in Die Glocke, doesn't it make quite some sense in the world of Nazi Zombies, that he was involved in Der Riese? There are also some theories as towards how Kammler actually did die. Two both involving some very interesting aspects; Now let's look back at the radio in Der Riese; Check the underlined text. It seems as if one man had shot himself in the head, while another had taken the Cyanide pills. Starting to see the connection yet? What if Hans Kammler was indeed apart of Der Riese. He was a scientist. It was his duty to commit suicide once the outbreak at Der Riese occurred, but through Element 115, the dead cells were reanimated. This can also explain why, if it is so, why the zombie on Nacht looks almost identical to that of Hans Kammler; because based on the information above, it might as well be him. Thank you for reading, and please give some feedback, as this took quite some time to write; thanks :)
