First and foremost, I would like to thank julpr, for allowing me to create a theory thread based on his findings. If it weren't for his findings, I would have never completed this theory. Original thread where julpr mentions the resemblance of Hans Kammler; viewtopic.php?f=53&t=22995 General Doctor of Engineering Hans Kammler General Back-story: General Hans Kammler would seem to be nothing more than a part of the SS, with the title of Doctor of Engineering. Now, along with his somewhat mediocre backstory, there has been much controversy as towards conspiracies, and his involvement in creating Nazi Superweapons (Wunder Waffen). Now as interesting as this may seem, there was more to his involvement than it may seem. Hans Kammler was also a leader of the project Die Glocke. Now, if you don't know what Die Glocke is, I suggest you look around the forums, as there are tons of topics involving this, but basically, Hans Kammler was one of the leaders of Die Glocke, which was a project involving creating super weapons for the Nazis, and this also involved teleportation, and these aspects. Now, as this may seem irrelevant, this struck my interests when Juplr mentioned that one of the Nazi Zombies on Nacht Der Untoten had almost identical facial structure. When he mentioned this, my mind immediately struck back to Group 935, and Die Glocke. Also, doesn't it make sense that one of the leaders of Die Glocke, and if he was indeed apart of Group 935, wouldn't it make sense that he became a zombie at Der Riese? I'll get more into that a bit later. Let's look at the similarties between the zombie at Nacht Der Untoten, and Hans Kammler; (Credit to juplr once again for finding the picture of the zombie, and the resemblance) As you can see from both of the photos, both the zombie, and Hans both are apart of the SS, both judging from the uniform, and the SS skull on Hans' hat. Also, they both seem to have the pale skin tone, the similar droops under the eyes, similar nose structure, and so on. Not only this, but one of the most interesting aspects of the life of Hans Kammler, is the fact that his death is unknown and his body was never recovered. From the information above, and the fact that he was one of the leaders of Die Glocke, let's make an educated guess, and say that in the world of Nazi Zombies, Hans Kammler was indeed apart of Group 935 and was at Der Riese. Also, I'm almost completely sure that on one of the chalk boards in Der Riese, there is the word "Hans" which can also be a reference to Hans Kammler. If Hans Kammler's body was never recovered, there is a high probability that he died in Der Riese (Speaking Nazi Zombies of course, not actuality). Here is a very important radio that most of you are aware of, which is on the map Der Riese. From the quote, the Man is talking about Cyanide pills, which were issued to each of the scientists at Der Riese. If anything were to go wrong, the scientists were to take the pills, for immediate suicide. So if we were to infer that Hans Kammler was indeed apart of Der Riese, he was to be issued the pills correct? So let's say that he was issued the pills at Der Riese. The Zombie out break occurrs, Hans Kammler takes the Cyanide pills and is killed. Now, I'm not completely inferring that this was just Hans Kammler that was killed at Der Riese, but suicide was an uttermost option if something like an outbreak were to occur. We also do know that Element 115 had the ability to reanimate dead cells, so let's say that these scientists take the cyanide pills, and through the outbreak, the dead cells are able to reanimate, with of course the "side effects". The same thing can be applied for all scientists at Der Riese. Suicide > Element 115 > Reanimation of Dead cells > More Zombies, essentially. This is where the almost identical facial structure of the zombie from Nacht Der Untoten, and the face of General Hans Kammler seem to tie up. There are no actual accounts of Hans Kammler's death, and his body was never recovered. To most this may have seemed like a Nazi-Escape-route-to-South-America, but considering he was involved in Die Glocke, doesn't it make quite some sense in the world of Nazi Zombies, that he was involved in Der Riese? There are also some theories as towards how Kammler actually did die. Two both involving some very interesting aspects; Now let's look back at the radio in Der Riese; Check the underlined text. It seems as if one man had shot himself in the head, while another had taken the Cyanide pills. Starting to see the connection yet? What if Hans Kammler was indeed apart of Der Riese. He was a scientist. It was his duty to commit suicide once the outbreak at Der Riese occurred, but through Element 115, the dead cells were reanimated. This can also explain why, if it is so, why the zombie on Nacht looks almost identical to that of Hans Kammler; because based on the information above, it might as well be him. Thank you for reading, and please give some feedback, as this took quite some time to write; thanks :)

I have a feeling that Raul killed someone to get the pendant, this could be a high end figure like a president, Masons wife? OR even A. Mason. If I'm right (from what people have said + memory) Mason had a daughter with a young woman. Maybe this pendant is of them? Cause we have no idea what these two have been through as of yet (have we?). Cause there are a lot of possibilities but I like this idea that it started the war. The 1%s leader (A.Mason) has been killed leading to an outrage or something. Thing is I want to know what the whole 99% thing is about. But then again, maybe it's not Raul that killed anyone for the pendant, in fact, maybe it is indeed Mason who is giving Woods the pendant. If you look at the facial structure, they both have very similar eyebrow structure, and what not. Also, if you look at the date of the Vault entry in the reveal trailer, and the villain trailer, it is the same date, and telling from the scenario outside, that it is the same time of day. Woods is speaking to that man, either Mason, Menendez, or whoever, like he knows them, so there are really 2 options; either Woods had become friendly with Menendez, and they have known each other, or that man is indeed Alex Mason. Also, the man looks about the age that Mason would be. If not, it can be Menedez, who at the time would be around 65 years old. The age aspect is more plausible, but even so, this would require Menendez and Woods to have known each other.

The date on the magazine would definitely make sense, because if you look about the date joined on Cordis Die's youtube channel, you can see the following; Latest Activity: June 16th, 2025 Date joined: June 25th, 2014 The magazine has the date "August, 2021" and let's judge that the magazine is not from the time of the news report. "That their leader will wipe them out" I think that "Will" is the keyword here. He hasn't done so yet, but he will in the future. Also, during the Black Ops 2 gameplay demo, David Mason looks to his watch-utility-gadget-thing and the date says "October 2025" which has made me skeptical that Woods' heart shaped pendant has some significance in starting the war. Any thoughts on this?
-
Cordis Die > Latin for The Heart In the Villain trailer, we have someone that looks almost identical to Alex Mason as an older figure, giving (Or receiving) the "Heart Shaped Pendant" which is also indicated in the classified dashboard image. So, we do know that obviously, the heart shaped pendant has some extreme significance in the campaign. Also, if Menendez were to indeed own the channel with over 50,000,000 subscribers (Cordis Die) he wouldn't randomly select the Latin name for "heart" would he?

As said above, the proverb that Raul mentions in the New World video, is that from the Ulysses poem, a story of Greek Mythology. Whether this has any relevance what-so-ever to the actual storyline, or if Raul is just mentioning the proverb in relevance to seeking a new empire, and rule, is beyond me. Also, I do believe that the man visiting Woods is Mason. While some of the gameplay is in the 1980s, I believe that during that time, we play as Alex Mason, where the Pendant becomes of great importance. Does anyone else notice that there is also a strong resemblance of Reznov, with the man that comes to visit Mason. I think we'll be seeing him again? I'll see if I can find anything else.

Wow.... That was quite amazing. The Black Ops storyline seems to get more and more interesting every other month or so. The storyline looks incredible, the graphics look simply amazing, honestly, everything looks amazing. Time to get to work on what we saw This is the youtube Channel Cordis Die; http://www.youtube.com/user/cordisdie First and only video that he has uploaded is the New World video; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=__F0okDF ... ature=plcp New World (Order?) Also, this is his youtube logo; A triangle with a half a circle around it. The triangle may or may not indicate the Illuminati, but I'll look more into it and see what I can find. EDIT: Closer picture of "Raul Menendez" The trailer got me thinking, since Menedez gives Woods the Heart Shaped Pendant (Or the other way around) This clearly means that they have some sort of relation to each other. This got me thinking, that maybe "Raul Menendez" maybe, be someone from Woods' past (Crazy as it seems, taking a longshot here, maybe Mason?)

Thanks Shooter, it really means a lot I looked more into the Toson Lake, and found some more interesting aspects in Shangri La that could definitely correlate with the Lake, and also associate with the water flow in Shangri La. Here is a picture outside of the map, just outside the somewhat pond where the mystery box is located on the side by the MP5k. The pond empties out into somewhat of a stream, or water flow, that travels and leads towards the mountain. Here is a picture of the water flow; Although you can continue the water flow, the map will cut off. This is simply because it is very far out of the map, and wasn't developed, but if the flow were to continue on, it were to lead just about inside of the mountain. Here is an image of the water flow, just before the map cuts off. As you can see, if continued, the flow would lead almost directly into the mountain; This could sincerely support the idea that the pipes emptied out water supplies through the pipes, and through this water flow, they could be carried towards Shangri La. Also, this is taken out of a news article reporting the mystery of the Baigong Pipes, and samples were taken from the pipes. The data showed that if they were iron pipes that were smelted, they would have been formed over 100,000 years ago. Seems very plausible as towards a Zombies type of theme, no? I'll look into more information about the time travel, as this seems to be the most intricate part of the whole theory, but very nice work on that I looked more into the idea of the gongs on Shangri La being associated with Tibet, and found from the forums that on the Gongs of Shangri La, there is writing that says "Beware the Wrath of the Dragon's Fire". I looked more into this and found that one of the symbols of Tibetan Buddhism (Also The Tibetan Buddhists are the ones who use Vrill) is a dragon. Now, I also found that along with the idea that the dragon being a symbol of Tibetan Buddhism, the beliefs that associate with dragons in Tibetan Buddhism seem to be linked with the Gongs in Shangri La; Isn't it in Shangri La the gongs create a powerful, thundering sound when you knife it in the correct order? (In the easter egg there is a step where you must knife the gongs in the correct order, or you cannot complete the easter egg) Also, this might be a long shot, but "awakens us from delusion, increases what we know through hearing" and correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't Takeo seem to start remembering what Group 935 has done to him in Shangri La? Do the gongs have some affect on Takeo, and his memory?

Anyone else notice this classified image? Didn't see it before today; It is the heart shaped pendant mentioned in one of the classified images. Thought it was interesting. Also, this is another image of Menendez, both indicated by the similarity in the new photo, and also by the image file name "menendez.jpg". The image text seems to be somewhat similar to "__________________________the unknown __________________________field (text that is striked, seems to have about 6-7 letters or so) ______________________ther and (text that is striked out, seems to be around 4-5 letters long) ____________________the entire"

Could General Hans Kammler be the original first Nzombie?
John replied to julpr's topic in General Zombies Discussion
Hans Kammler was indeed apart of the SS, both showing as the SS outfit, and from his biography, he joined in May of 1933. It's funny you mention the resemblance, because there is actually a lot to support this. -Hans Kammler was supposedly in charge of Die Glocke (Group 935 Anyone?) -Second point I found was very interesting was the fact that in 1945 Hans Kammler went missing and his body was never recovered. -Didn't the zombie outbreak occur at Der Riese? If Kammler was apart of Group 935, his almost identical similarity in Nacht Der Untoten could mean that he was indeed a zombie, considering his body was never recovered. Nice find EDIT: Brains for you [brains] -

JONTHEBESERK's theory with evidence, multiple zombie maps
John replied to jimirmixes's topic in General Zombies Discussion
Of course playing the standard game modes on the same map would be extremely repetitive, but we have to take into consideration the fact that the Map they're creating is going to be the biggest map yet, and is going to feature new, and creative game modes. Also, considering the MP engine is being integrated, there's no doubt in my mind that we'll be seeing tons of various ways to play, and different things to play. -
JONTHEBESERK's theory with evidence, multiple zombie maps
John replied to jimirmixes's topic in General Zombies Discussion
I'm almost completely sure they mean DLC, such as multiple zombies maps after the release... They confirmed multiple Zombie modes, so I'm pretty sure that's how they described "Multiple ways of fighting the undead." They had confirmed that the first zombie map would be the biggest one they have created, so I don't really creating multiple maps for the first would really even be necessary. -
I could see how this could be implemented; somewhat like a system where you save the game on a certain round, and then you could chose the save in the load menu, and it would give some information and what not. This could definitely be implemented, but I could imagine there would be various issues associated with it. For starters, the amount of MB one save would take up, and the large file sizes. Also, there could be modding issues, involving loading pre made saves, and if they were to somehow implement the leaderboards with Solo, this would be an issue, as I could imagine there would be various exploits as well. I also don't think it's really needed, as in Solo you can just press pause, and the game will pause for you, and you don't have to worry about it restarting or anything.

Hello Codz, thought I'd bring this theory over to the Asylum to develop a fully speculated theory. This theory also has to do with the recent speculations of the "Mountains" on Shangri La. I understand that there are various theories involving Shangri La being located on Mars, but I thought this theory should be shown to you as it fits very well, especially when linking it to the Vrill-Ya. If you are unfamiliar with the mountain speculation, here is the picture of the developers tweeting about the mountains in Shangri La, so the mountains have some obvious relevance to the location and the so called "Best kept secret of Zombies". So obviously we have some speculation that the Shangri La mountains are involved with some sort of secret involved with the best kept secret of zombies. Now, I did some research, and had found the Baigong Pipes, and saw that there was tons of evidence to support the theory that Shangri La was located on, or near Mount Baigong. Before we look at Mount Baigong, let's look at the Shangri La mountains first; Now, from the photo we can tell that the mountains are structured with dents of sorts, having sides sticking out more than the other. If looked down upon, from a perfect angle, it would look almost like a wave of sorts. Now, let's look at Mount Baigong; As you can see, there seem to be the same dents in the mountain and it seems to be structured almost identically towards that of the Shangri La mountains. Also, if you look towards the upper right area of the mountains, the structure seems to have the same indents and physical structure in the top right. The mountains are almost identical to each other. Now, the thing that doubts me is the fact that the color of Mount Baigong is lighter and more faded to the color of the mountains on Shangri La. This arose an idea that maybe Shangri La is in the past, as the color of Mount Baigong is now faded and greyish brown. I'm still developing a theory as towards the time aspect, as this doesn't suit how the radios and Gary fit together, but I have a feeling time travel is indeed involved, as Shangri La can be in the distant past. The theory doesn't end there, there is still much to elaborate on; one of another major points associated with Mount Baigong and the Baigong Pipes are the fact that there is usually a pyramid associated with the Baigong pipes; the Pyramid is said to be around "160-200 feet high" and wouldn't that be the same height as the pyramid in Shangri La? Also, doesn't it seem peculiar to the fact there just happens to be a pyramid associated with a mountain that looks nearly identical to that of Shangri La? Let's take an estimate and say that this is around 160-200 feet or in between that. Doesn't it make sense that the two pyramids are very similar in height? There is still more to support this theory, especially since Mount Baigong is considered a OOP Artifact. There are structures in Mount Baigong that seem to be created by past civilizations. (Vrill-ya?) There are structures in the mountain that seem to resemble Shangri La in many ways. For one there are openings almost like pipe systems where water is used to navigate. Here is an example from Mount Baigong; Look familiar? Doesn't it look quite similar to the water slide in Shangri La? This is where the time period seems to integrate with the map. In the present picture we can see that the water slide is dried out, and this can once be integrated with the time travel aspect, that Shangri La is indeed in the past. If the water slides were running in the past, they would have dried out by now, right? The idea that there was some past civilization had constructed these waterways and water systems, seems to have to deal with the Vrill-Ya and there involvement in the Zombies storyline. The residents of the Mount Baigong areas seem to have superstitious thoughts about the pipes; By aliens do they mean the Vrill-Ya? Also, let's look at the location of the baigong pipes and Mount Baigong; They are located in the "Haixi Mongol and Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Qinghai Province, China." As you can see, in the Tibetan Autonomous prefacture. Coincidence that the Vril power generator was originally used in Tibet by Tibetan monks for energy enhancement? Also, there is much to associate with Extra terrestrial visitors, that have to do with the Baigong Pipes and Mount Baigong. As said before, the residents of the Baigong area have said that Aliens were the credit behind the pipes and it's doings. In 1938(Start of WWII which also can raise some questions) Chi Pu Tei a Chinese scientist, lead an expedition of some 9 men to explore the mountain range. There, they found Dropa stones. What are dropa stones? Dropa stones were found in the Baigong mountains. They are said to be around a foot tall. Here is a picture of a dropa stone found on Shangri la; Also, a very similar stone is found on Moon, which can also support the theory that Shangri La was somehow transported to Moon. This is in the biodome; What do you guys think about this? Do you guys have anything to support this or prove it wrong? Any feedback is appreciated

This could be a possibility, but it would have to be the beginning of the game, maybe around levels 5-6 or so? Imagine joining a game with a weak pistol at round 20 or so, that would be my only positive value of allowing Join in anytime. The joining player would be at an extreme disadvantage, and there would really be no benefits of joining in late. Also, I would imagine that there would be tons of errors, bugs, lagging in mid game, various glitches, and exploits to go along with this feature, if it were added.
-
It will definitely be integrated with the storyline, as a large chunk of the storyline has to do with extra terrestrial travels, including the Moon, and Area 51. We will definitely be hearing about it again, but playing again on the same map doesn't seem as plausible. If they do, I think they'll do something similar to Black Ops, maybe Moon again, with revamped weapons and equipment. Maybe when they bring it back, updates to the actual map and easter egg?

The Theory of the Next 2 Classifieds
John replied to ZombiesQUANTUM's topic in General Zombies Discussion
They had revealed about the same information about Zombies before Black Ops, but they have delivered it in different ways for Black Ops 2. For Black Ops 1, they had indicated new and enhanced Co Op mode, with 4 player communication system, and a whole new story line, but they hadn't necessarily confirmed Zombies at that point, but delivered tons of information about it, but no confirmation. They haven't revealed tons of information about Zombies, just some Dev Pics, MP engine included, and some other tiny aspects that aren't entirely important. If anything, I believe the new images will just be more intel, I don't believe it will be any trailers. Zombies wasn't confirmed or showed until the end of the summer, maybe even later. -
Come on guys. The face has no expression for zombies pouncing on your face, and it's tiled an awkward angle.
-
He was most likely referring to the story within zombies, since in the last installment, we blew up Earth, and then the story basically stopped, most likely referring to that. I don't think Adam Sessler would be informed with that type of information, but if so, I would love a separate Zombies campaign.
-
I'm guessing a type of weapons storage, don't think it would relate to the storyline entirely too much. Closest thing I found to 205 was the XM205 bipod, around the suitable size to be carried in that case. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/XM205_tripod

Also, Reznov has interaction in the next couple of missions, which could indicate that Woods was with Mason for the entire rest of the game. Again, it is "Reznov" that kills Steiner, and while looking at Steiner, Steiner says to either Woods, Mason, or Reznov, whichever it may be, "I remember you..." so if he was talking to Woods, could it be that Woods could have been classified as somewhat insane, also could it have been him that killed Steiner? For doing the experiments, if it was him, to him?

Official CallOFDuty.com BO2 Viral thread - UPDATE 7
John replied to Strwrsbob's topic in General Discussion
It's Woods. The new image proves so. Look at tattoo and watch. Also, here is the previous picture of Mason. Same tattoo, watch and same 115 tattoo. Has to be Mason.
