306 is my highest, I just realised I've had each number from 300-306 :shock: Im going to concentrate on NML this weekend, I'm making a new strat guide for it with eye and supers help....including how to use the pistols I really want a 320!

Yeah, this. Running around outside definitely has the potential to give a much better start, but there are many more variables involved. Doing Super's start you can definitely hit 300 kills, which should be enough for most people :)

Nice Super. Tom, all spawns on Kino are too slow The quickest 2 are the alley and the lobby but just staying downstairs. Both are between 23 and 26 seconds The long way as Super shows is much safer, and at around 35-40 seconds it's not too slow. I managed just the lobby until 50, but it cost me all 3 QRs. I was saying to Eye that if I ever do 100 on Kino I will use the bastard child of what I did and Super is doing to create the ultimate speed/safe strategy :)

I played for an hour with Rissole and his boy Scar, lagged out on 14 Ascension. I had 6 downs at the time! 1 bar FTW!

I only managed a 1 bar to Ledermald, but that was on my old connection. I pray to get a 2 bar to you or Scar :)

Rissole - we can play earlier mate, from around like 12:30am for you, which is 8:30 to me. My Mother in Law has graced us with her presence, I've offered to babysit tonight so Julie and her can go out for dinner. By babysit I mean put him to bed, and go into my man room with the baby monitor! Try and be on then :)

If you want youtube views claiming a WR and being able to show that it is currently the highest legitimate score is not the worse thing in the world. Self promoting sure, but if you don't self promote on youtube why are you there?

In my opinion no. Ascension is solely good to me for laughs with friends. A trained monkey would be an overpowered zombie killer on that map!

And I don't believe it's personal, I am genuinely happy that Super got his 300 even it means he has topped my score, as I'm sure both him and Eye for instance were happy when I got my 300, topping theirs. I'm glad it's not too competitive, it's nice like this with people pushing each other on to bigger and better things!

We can definitely have 5 300 players here. I believe the difference between at the minute Eye, Super and myself is infinitesimally small.

@Jim - I suppose you are right in a way. I don't believe they are all unprovable, I think it depends on your footage. The 51 I have seen has too many question marks around it. I just don't agree that you would cut footage that doesn't show you getting hit even once. I record my gameplay mainly for challenges. A challenge I was doing recently was no perks, PAP all wall guns in Kino. When I finished the challenge I just decided to keep going.

I like it mate. Not sure if I could pull it off on the PS3 after the second grenade what with the lag but it's very cool. I played for a bit yesterday...I've realised that in the first say 20 minutes I'm much more effective than after that. It's fresh I suppose, once it goes longer I start getting a bit frustrated.

Does anyone know, ie, has seen on youtube the World Record for highest round in any Black Ops Map with no perks at all. I'm talking about legit stuff here. The best I have seen is 40 on Ascension with no power, however he did use all 3 QRs. If anyone has seen it, certainly for Kino I'd really like to know. I'm in the process of making a video and realised it may be something pretty special. And I have proof that can't be questioned Appreciate if anyone knows or can remember seeing anything like this.

Good idea Afro, I would add Mix into there too. I've been thinking about doing some testing on the times it moves from 3 to 4 shots, 4 to 5 etc. If you notice in say Mato's videos there is an instinctual awareness of when this happens. Generally in the first 5 and a 1/2 minutes it takes 1 double shot and then a single, after that 2 doubles. I'd always say it's better to do single shots once you have crawlers as you don't want to waste ammo, but sometimes doing a single shot and not killing them all can cost you....it often can be hard to get into position immediately to fire off that second shot quickly. I'm pretty good up until around 200 kills, or about the 6 minute mark. After that is the absolute toughest time, taking 5 shots and upwards to kill. Keeping a tight group is easier in the swamp, important when you are making crawlers but the side drop is easier to spam double shots. You don't have the same room in the swamp and if a double shot hits a jumping dog you are going to be red, causing a good 6 second delay before you can fire again. This may not seem like much but if it happens even only 5 times you have lost 30 seconds. I'll PM the guys and see what ideas we can come up with Oh and regarding spawns and waiting.....Mato is convinced that you should always wait for a completely full spawn. Even if it takes an extra 5 seconds to get those last 2 it makes a difference in completely clearing them all before a new spawn starts. Firing double shots is risky when you have potential new zombies running up behind you.

Getting the views is not as important as getting the true appreciation. Not everyone does it for views. Thanks to both of you Sure I want views but really not as much as people think. My videos are very personal to me, I use my favorite music regardless of copyright and edit them as I like them. Man if it means I get only 100 views of people who actually appreciate the work that has gone into them then that is preferable to me to getting 1000 views of the GFaq community who have their heads up their arses!

Very very cool Super! I've taken a break recently from NML, played for 20 minutes yesterday and it was tough! Forgotten how fast it could be tbh. Getting a good start and finishing strong are the hardest things, all my 300 games have come of pretty lackluster starts. I just hope that 1 day I get an 80 second PAP, 45 kills, 150 second Juggs, 95 kills. Then you are on for 330.

I have a few times mate, as have around 40 or 50 other people on PS3. MatoMaster21 is easily the best at it. Have a look at the link in my signature to The Chopper Repository and there are 2 different videos of me getting above 300 :)

Not so sure about that mate, Kino is simple on paper but I'm sure most people who have gone for a really high run on it would have found it quite a bit more difficult than Moon and Ascension. The problem mainly is slow spawn speed, which requires a longer time to get high and more concentration. The gas zombies are a pain and there is less space than both Ascension and Moon. You don't have Gersches either which is a huge part of getting ammo back, when you've been spamming the Thunder. On topic I think Ascension is easier. Well placed traps, a monkey round and some dream kiting areas make it so. The thing moon has in it's favour is a wonder weapon with massive ammo and ability to get ammo whenever you want. But it has the excavators and astronaut.
