This was inspired by Faust's recent post regarding El Dorado and Agathar. The big problem I still see overall is how to link Atlantians, Illuminati AND The Nazis. Throw Vril-Ya into the mix too. Please excuse me if this has been covered before. Vril-Ya are a semi-advanced race, who some thought came from the centre of the Earth, which could be assumed to be Agartha. Atlantians are an ancient advanced race. These are supposed to be Atlantian Cities around the world. There is a network of tunnels linking them, and the circle is the location of The Main Atlantis Pyramid. This can be linked to both Vril-ya and Agartha, among many more. Where have we heard about Agartha? Ok, this is a pretty impressive list - Gilgamesh, The Greeks, Orpheus, Homer, Plato, Incas and Edmond Halley. Orpheus tried to save his wife, and named the place Hades. Gilgamesh had long conversations with Agarthian's of the Underworld. Homer and Plato both wrote about it. Halley tried to find the place. The Inca escaped the Spanish and carried their treasure in Agartha. Is this El Dorado? Both Buddhist and Indian theology reference it, in Buddhism a Holy Man lead a tribe underground to colonize Agartha...the people ended up with Scientific knowledge way beyond anything that the surface dwellers had. In Indian Rama was an emissary from Agartha. Nazi Germany sent an expedition in 1942 to Rugen, a Baltic Island. This was to find the entrance to Hollow Earth. What's interesting about this is that there are a few people who have written about The Nazi's having actually being a seperate race coming from the centre of the Earth. One of these authors even thinks that a lot escaped the end of The War on Submarines heading to Argentina. So where do the Illuminati's fit into all this? This is faust's topic if you want to compare the maps........ viewtopic.php?f=81&t=19126 How can 2 different maps basically have similar ideas but really not the same. One is an Atlantian map which as links to both Shamalla and Agartha, but spell it differently and is Atlantian in nature first? And lastly, where I have come across issues before when thinking about all of this stuff....I wonder where the game makers are getting their information from, because an awful lot of stuff on all these subjects can be very very different. If we know where they are getting it from (what myths, texts etc) how much are they changing it for artistic value? I read a book 11 years ago called Decipher by Stel Pavlou. This book got me interested in a few things, and kinda shaped an awful lot of my interests which I still have today - physics, Atlantis, Super Races and Theology. It tells the story of a group who whilst drilling in the South Pole Sea drill into a solid wall of what appears to be diamonds, but on closer inspection is completely covered in ancient symbols never seen before. At the same time there has been an increase in catastrophic Natural Disasters. Using and combining various theologies from the Major Religions they attempt to decipher the language, and ultimately save the world! Temples are discovered all across the world built of this mysterious material, including some underwater ones. Can't remember the name but Vril/This crystal......so many different interpretations of what should be one simple story. In the same way as Atlantis/Agartha. Even look at the different spelling for Agartha/Agharta. Some of the Physics is a little bit odd (it was written in 2001 but the date of the book is 2012) but I think there would be a fair few people on this site who would enjoy it.

I believe that this is the first storyline post that has ever got me interested, genuinely, into delving further. [brains] Removed my post to create it's own thread, realise it what quite a bit off topic potentially.

Haha yeah I forgot that Eye asked me yesterday! I wrote this literally 5 minutes after I woke up whilst still in bed, a bit of a fog this morning. And I meant represent the team GMT, not be the representative of team GMT! But I guess I'm actually doing both.
-
Yes mate you did, my bad!
-
Looks like me and you are set for the playdate. Similar times, similar location, similar awesomeness... Team UK is gonna be the best! -Jolteon Not heard anything from Rissole so I'll probably play with you guys. I'm from London anyone so very happy to represent team GMT. For the 28th if you can play at 4pm that would be really cool for me. It's 11pm here which is my zombie killing time anyway One thing I don't really understand is how the teams compete against each other. TBH I thought this was just a bit of fun but friendly competition never hurt anyone. It's just I don't see how they can compete? Who is our leader btw?

Hey Guys, So due to the work of many people over the last 3 years CODZ is now a site with nearly 10,000 members. I'm going to estimate that there are probably 100 people who post here regularly. Maybe more, I'm not sure. Of those people I'm pretty certain that almost all know almost everyone's name, maybe know what they post about and what they are like. This to me is key to what makes me return to CODZ again and again. There's a real sense of community, rarely any arguments between longer standing members and a well moderated environment. I believe CODZ is going to keep growing and growing. Maybe not now, but in 4 months or so when there is more and more information being released regarding BO2 then certainly then. Does this concern anyone? I want CODZ to be the biggest zombie site on the net, I believe there is already by far the best varied content. Storyline breakdown, strategies, personal stories, playdates etc. I'm certain that it will become the biggest. But does this potentially come at a cost of losing that sense of community? If there are 250 people regluarly posting, with hundreds of people who post 2 or 3 times will it become too much?

I will definitely do the 28th Jan ChopperNator | PSN: Chopper-Nator | Availibilty: Hmmm I'm GMT+7. Will fit into my parties time preference | Maps: All Prefer an Australasian lobby if there are enough players. I can play with either GMT or EST players and be very happy on a 1 bar. I suggest I'm not host Eye - just put me in whatever team works best, maybe if Rissole and Ledermald signup I can go with them. I forgot the other Australian players in here!

Kino World Record - Round 51 - No Perks or PaP
Chopper replied to ninezerowill's topic in Kino Der Toten
I really don't know what to think about this anymore. I've just done a no perks Kino challenge, and I got above 30 (not going to say how high until the video is out ) It is seriously very very difficult. I didn't use the Thundergun for at least the first 30 rounds, but even after then you are going to be in situations where even with the Thunder you can go down. There are too many instances running around the stage where you go around a slightly blind corner and get swiped from 2 zombies coming from the side, and that's it, game over. The easy way would be the slow but steady way....use the teleporter within the first 15 seconds of a new round, then loop the map. There will be none behind you, and if you kill them slowly they are manageable. The 2 issues with this is that past 35 or so they take too long to kill so you need to use traps or Thunder....either will create a brand new spawn to be dealt with. This can be negated by getting the teleporter ready and using again after killing, but it takes an insane amount of time. I believe this is possible to complete, but ball breakingly difficult. -
I think my stuff is pretty different mate and my latest challenge I've never seen anywhere before. I also don't ask for subs or likes ever, it bugs the shit out of me. All my videos are listed in the link in my signature.

Much prefer the HK for a reason stated above, ammo is easier to conserve. I thought the switch speed relied on the weapon you are switching to?

I'm going out of my way not to flame you, however your attitude really sucks. Nothing I dislike more than people giving backhanded compliments, containing some kind of snip at someone. Your post was that, which is why you put a smiley face in. Back on topic hey Mundi :)
-
Really Steely? You are being derogatory potentially in 2 different ways...saying that Eye either stole the material or that it has been posted elsewhere. Firstly, every bit of information in there was written by CODZ members. They all gave permission to place this in the guide, some of the stuff was written specifically for it. Secondly, I believe almost all of it is original stuff. Some ideas may have come up before, some strats may have been seen elsewhere but you are being overly flippant in your opinion. However, you can go a week without sleep and breaks are for losers.

I'd still say NDU is the hardest map, but what makes it so hard is that skills gained on any other map have no application. Excluding Dead Ops (which is zombies but is so different it's in it's own category) NDU is by far and away the hardest zombie map. It's the only map I haven't been to at least 40 on (hell I haven't even been to 30). I've been to 30 on Kino with no perks but there is so much more space. If you can get to even 30 solo on NDU you are a pretty damn fine player.

I still think the lobby is just a tiny bit quicker, but both are too difficult for round 100. -
A treatise on the first 10 rounds
Chopper replied to aegisknight's topic in General Zombies Discussion
Good debate going back and forth here which I do like to see. Aegis, I agree with most of what you are saying. My personal issue with this, which I have experienced before as a counter argument way back nearly a year ago is that actually pulling this off is extremely difficult. With friends it's ok, with randoms almost impossible. The easiest window by far is the one under the stairs. All of what you say can be accomplished there. The problem lies mainly with the other 2 downstairs windows....they get busy fast on round 3 and letting all the zombies out at this point is very dangerous. The 2 players here can easily get mixed up with each others zombies. My personal opinion on all this is now quite simple - whilst I point hoard like a fiend I've discovered it's not necessary. Sure, you may all be 3000 points better of on round 10, but really if you are going to be playing to say round 30 is it really going to make a difference? -
Aegis I agree with Eye entirely make an essential nuances guide. It gets you your own reputation and then you don't have to reformat the Master guide as is. Once complete I'm sure Eye will put it in the guide somewhere at the top :)

It's very tough to just drop into it on a high round. Past 40 or so it just gets too insane, you kinda need to warm up in there with the earlier rounds when they spawn slower to get the rhythm. I'm convinced I couldn't do it all the way to 100. -

I'm going to attempt Kino high round tomorrow. 6 hour sessions, hopefully only 3 I also appreciate the results Wilmer is posting although I'm pretty certain Way is right about the drops and coding. I've seen too many people say the same thing, people who are actually going on game programming rather than using the game to rest. The random drops are just too random. -
You know MatoMaster told me he has spent at least 60 hours playing just NML. You think the real high screos are just pure skill? No, it takes skill firstly, luck and lots and lots of experience!
-
Yes it takes an awful lot of practice to be confident at doing it, and it still doesn't work everytime. Good luck Dougie.
-
In all my attempts I have only managed to knife 2 crawlers post all ammo used, on my 296 kill. I'm normally spent at the end of a high kill game and really don't fancy stabbing like crazy. But Eye's way works.

Look at the Master Zombie guide, which contains a lot. Or the video in my signature.

Either way I'd be bored shitless using the traps. In summary if you want to get to 50 in 2 hours follow the original strat. If you want to get 200k in points by round 35 use my method, it will take around 2 hours. Wilmer claims to be at the same point on level 40 with 235k in points, in 30 minutes more. Take your pick. I can do level 35-40 in 20 minutes using the lobby so it's a toss up. -
Thanks Tom. Vegas Pro 9.0 mate, timecode effect. And the song is from Muse's album The Resistance - Exogenesis - Symphony Part 1, Overture and Part 2, Cross-Pollination. I will stop using copyrighted music soon!
