2 really good players in co-op on the right map have less chance of dying completely than a solo player who has 4 chances only. Lag is what gets the co-op players most of the time on really high levels.

I respect you as a player but not this opinion mate. It's not at all necessary but can help in a few ways - Kiting an area without a easy wall gun - Mule Kick allows 2 guns on top of your wonder/M&S/Ray. Having an RPK and HK means even round 35 or so can be completed with just the ammo from those guns. My new tactic, always is to have M&S in any map I can. If I then get a wonder weapon I will get Mule Kick to give me a point scoring wall gun. I won't trade the M&S as it's too useful in later rounds when trying to make crawlers or get ammo after mass spam of wonder weapon.
-
Both choices are pretty much spot on in my opinion. I think that Verruckt has an easier and quicker kite though.
-
It may be a glitch but the single best solution is to not get Mule Kick until you have your preferred 1 and 2 gun. Get Mule Kick and then get a wall weapon.

Just checked an old video, 300 each and everytime.

2 players leave that or the door to the ship shut. It enables 2 people to circle outside the lighthouse, both with access to ammo from the brilliant AK. For 4 players it should probably be open, as there are 2 kiting areas in there (bottom and middle floor). Also, I leave it closed when playing with 2 players to enable breaks to be taken safely. When you are going to be playing for 6 hours minimum it's nice to take a 15 minute break in peace. For both players it's just easier. You don't have to babysit the last zombie/s quite as much. On a map like COTD once you are at plus 40 often you need to cycle the box to get the VR back, or scavenger. If someone wants a break it's tough for the other to keep hitting the box as you are constantly worried about being on the other side of the map and a new zombie spawning near to AFK teammate. The glitch is good for these situations. In game it sucks arse.

I can check later but I'm sure a full hoard gives you 300 points.

Nice man great video. If you're going for a high kill record getting Jugg quickly after the PaP without using any more than 5 M&S shots is also essential. A lot of people tend to run around the whole area when making their Jugg points but, like you showed here, I always prefer to haul ass to the telepad ASAP, makes things so much easier and quicker. I just did got my best ever start....I had come close to this before and thought I understood the theory but it really takes some good circumstances to get right. Stats - Before running - 1800 After 1st Grenade - 3800 ish, a couple of crawlers. After 2nd Grenade - 5500 + at least 10 crawlers, maybe more. PAP time - 1:36 Juggs time - 2:25 M&S used - 4 bullets Total kills - 90-100 kills I'm having massive problems with my vegas pro since my PC crashed, I may have to do a new build anyway to get it running again. I really want to get this video up. I was by the drop on the "wrong" side when they ran. I killed 2 quickly from the ledge....but 6 were running from that back location. 8 bullets at headheight got me at least 2 kills, then I got 1 dog. 8 more bullets then grenade. After getting my pistols I waited around 15 seconds and got a full spawn around the crawlers, 1 M&S took alot out, and then 1 more got the rest. 1 used this 1 rather than waiting to make sure there were no crawlers, this is key. 30 more seconds got me a full spawn and then 2 M&S jumping backwards took almost all out again, but strangely left no crawlers....just a few runners. This got me 2650 total points and Juggs. Killing close to a full spawn nets you around 1000 points. My theory has always been to have 500 points after PAPing and then using 4 bullets to get 2000 points. First time enough went right with the spawns to get it. It's very tough to do as you rely on things going right for you.

Kinder Der Untoten [ Children Of The Undead]
Chopper replied to Wunder Waffle's topic in General Zombies Discussion
Absolutely nothing mate, I personally do not agree with that. The censors were all saying it promotes terrorism and ideals into children. Protect the children is what I hear much too often from politicians in both the US and Australia. I say that it has nothing to do with what the effect may be on a youth playing, and everything to do with having respect for people that may have been through something similar. If you had had family at an airport where a massacre had taken place you wouldn't like it glorified in a game. Somehow to me it's different than a movie. They are both for entertainment value, but watching a terrorist act in a movie is different than living it in a game. This is slightly more personal for me, I have seen the tattoos on both my fiancee's Grandmothers forearms from Auschwitz. But I do not believe that gives my opinion anymore weight than anyone else's on this matter so please do not take it like that. I do know some people who would have been livid at the original idea. Just my opinion. -
It pains me to think how long that would take....any map without Thunder or Wave must take even more time than the already insane amount of time it requires with them!

Kinder Der Untoten [ Children Of The Undead]
Chopper replied to Wunder Waffle's topic in General Zombies Discussion
It really saddens me to say that you have to put this in. But I really believe lots of people don't know about this. I don't believe the game makers would dare have a game set at Auschwitz where you are able to use gas chambers. It's too sensitive. Throw in the Nazi link and Jewish zombies and there would be uproar. I actually like the ideas though, just can't see it happening. -
What's interesting is that n00bs to me comes from n00btuber. I wonder if the simpleton that coined this phrase realises it doesn't even rhyme. Newbtuber would rhyme however. Even when you hear insults thrown around MP lobbies they say newb, but are trying to say n00b. Fucking tools.

Hey Guys, I have a question regarding the points and drops theory. Do the points definitely stack throughout rounds, or does the round you are on have some bearing in how many points you need to get a drop. Let's say I have earnt 20,000 points on Kino and it's now round 12. I use the Thundergun exclusively from round 13 to round 26. If I then use my M&S to kill some zombies I definitely get drops. If I then go back to my Thunder exclusively for another 8 rounds or so should I be getting drops based on the lack of points I have earnt, therefore guaranteeing me drops based on the formula or do I need a bare minimum at any particular round?

Not trying to be an asshole in any way, but I don't understand when people say this. You can pause the game and come back to it when you have the time; any round 100+ games I've done have been dragged out over about a week, playing for a few hours a day. It's more than that as you well know Super. To get to 100 is an incredible acheivement on any map, and truly not many could do it. Many however think they can. Let's take the easiest map, Ascension. Yes the flopper is an easy place to run but everyone who has ever played has gone down there at some point. To play in one place, for 20+ hours limited to 4 mistakes is no cakewalk. I think people do not give enough credit for how hard this is. In theory it would be easy, in practise only a select few have the ability to get that high. Concentration is an issue, being on your game all the time is an issue, thundergun fails.... I don't mean to have a go at anyone but the flippancy I see towards this truly does irritate me.
-
I wouldn't bother mate, it may fuck up your console. If you had it on PC I'd say go for it, lot less stressful to a PC.
-
In my experience this isn't true either. Many times I have flipped multiple zombies and they have all come back.
-
The 1/2 revive is a favourite of mine, especially when it's a split screener. The cruelest thing I know to do is to know how high everyone else has been and then make sure they come very close but not quite get there, or get there and then make sure you just quit as last person rather than dieing. I've only done it a few times, quite a will back when I was a bit of an arrogant tosser when it came to zombies and my ability.
-
Sounds fun man but I'm on call at work all this week so there's no telling how many or little hours I'll get to be doing any long runs this week. Don't think I could take another 166 rounds on Ascension anyways I've completely rinsed that map. Yeah fair enough that people ask for proof, just some of them call me a liar when I can't provide it and can be very harsh. The last 5 mins of the 161 video got labelled as fake by Yote and his army of subscribers without good reason too Guys a douche anyway, nowhere near as good as he thinks.

I'd say yes Way but I wouldn't be able to watch the stream unfortunately. Although we move into our own apartment on Saturday and I'll be getting a data card then, maybe I'd have more luck once I have that,

Choppers Solo speed guide to Kino - updated with video
Chopper replied to Chopper's topic in Kino Der Toten
Thanks Super and Tom. Rewatching the videos I realised there is more to it than a simple circle, but the video will make it all clear. I managed to restore my computer last night, finally. I am currently copying an entire 1.5TB back onto it, then I need to reinstall vegas pro. I'll try and do an edit tonight and then upload tomorrow. The net here is 400 down, 200 up. No idea how long it's going to take to upload a video! -
I think the alley is the go to place for most good players now in a random game. I used to always use the lobby but I got sick of people randomly running through it and destroying my hoard with a ray gun. Everyone leaves the alley alone which is great. AK on the wall is a massive plus for the area, and in co-op the number of zombies drops drastically making it much more doable than solo. Nice post killall.

I don't think it matters much in the grand scheme of things. Newb is someone who wants to learn, noob has 2 or 3 definitions. They either won't listen, don't care, purposely incite or are just stupid. I've played with noobs who seem to know their stuff, get Juggs etc but then want to PAP ASAP. I've spent time explaining why someone doesn't need to PAP their brand new ray gun on round 8. They agree with me, but then say they still are going to do it!

Choppers Solo speed guide to Kino - updated with video
Chopper replied to Chopper's topic in Kino Der Toten
Cycling the Thunder takes time, more than I'd care to take on a speed run to 50. Mule Kick would be essential for my particular method. If I was going for a higher run than 50 I would take doubletap for sure....probably over speed cola. Doubletap is more likely to save my life than speedy on really high rounds. I've seen only a little of what Relaxing did.....he seemed to use the entire lobby where as I only use the bottom. It's quicker using just the bottom....walking up the stairs, slowly across the top and then down takes longer than I wanted for a speed run.
