Solo hoarding: Kill quickly or just pick them off?
Chopper replied to Superhands's topic in General Zombies Discussion
Depends mate, entirely on my mood. I play 3 ways generally, hoarding and shooting, hoarding and blasting and lastly just shooting on sight. I can just about get away with shooting on sight until about 18 or so with a Thompson and DT in the right area. I don't normally start completely destroying my groups until sort of round 20, before then I like to mix it up a bit to keep it fun. -
If round 5 comes and it's the dogs then I normally do. Unless I'm like 40 points short and I'll try and get them from the dogs! But yeah you have to buy a gun and then suddenly it's round 6 and you still haven't got it and are short.....I know exactly what you mean.

Thanks guys, as you all know it's not strictly necessary but it's nice to do sometimes :)

It's tough is the first thing I'll say! You need to spend a lot of time practising, as many on here will attest too. Have a look at these videos - w8r8UJOMTQo ssq4gKMy7CE Super's method, which is the top video has helped many many many people out. It's much safer and more consistent than anything else. The only minor downside that I see is that you are slightly limited in how good your start will and can be. I'm guessing around 5 kills and 10-15 seconds on average less. This is really nothing unless you are aiming for like 330 plus. The bottom method which is how I do things is probably the closest you can get to a set way to doing things when down the bottom away from the PAD. I really hope this helps. This board has helped a few players get to or around 300, lets see if it can help another!

It's Kino and Der Riese but works for most maps, if you really want to do it that is. AmJ259_xeWk

Thanks for all the comments guys, they mean a lot It just all went right. I thought that when I had that little lag and I lost those 3 shots I was coming to come up just short, I was planning the grenade like that and nearly messed it up with the reload delay!
-
I've seen this strategy a few times now, it is definitely very quick. And congrats on getting to 70. I don't have the want to go that high, 50 is good enough for me but much respect for people that do.

Yeah I saw that earlier mate, it was funny to see you jumping like the Easter Bunny double shooting any and everywhere!

Mustang and Sally: tips on how to properly use it?
Chopper replied to Jaysonn's topic in General Zombies Discussion
Watch this video from about 2 minutes in, and see how I use M&S both with and without Juggs. EhExnEI9ebM The basic rule with M&S is that if you have a full group and shoot at your feet you will take 3 hits. This means that a single zombie hit after will not kill you, neither will 2 dog or 2 gas crawlers but a dog and a zombie, or 2 zombies will. You should always be able to shoot at their feet like this and not get hit after. How this relates to Kino - you can do something similar on the stage by the turret. -
Just the moon one was 27 minutes dude! Ok, thanks everyone for your suggestiosn, I will probably choose from moon EE - login Teddy, password is a liar.

Hey guys, saw a topic recently and someone said about Nacht and point whoring something like good luck. I realised that the way I tend to start is pretty good at it Y7bZhLaoQoY

Can you get a high round on leaderboards if..
Chopper replied to zachjdx's topic in General Zombies Discussion
Something doesn't make sense here. You and your brother are on the same PS3 in split screen. You host a game with 2 randoms. If the randoms both leave there is no-one left for you to host and the game will end with the message not enough players to continue. -
Can you get a high round on leaderboards if..
Chopper replied to zachjdx's topic in General Zombies Discussion
As soon as they quit the game will end I'm afraid. And the scores will not update as the match has to be completed to enable it to update. -
I've edited out all language. Please try and stay on topic and not become personal.

*WORLD RECORD BROKEN* 2ppl pap 190s ~~ EXTREME EPICNESS!! ~~
Chopper replied to Tom852's topic in No Mans Land (NML)
People need to watch this. The times especially when they are alternating stabbing zombies is teamwork to the extreme. It's a very high level co-op tactic for point maximising when you have no Jugg, or when insta kill comes and you have a pretty crazy hoard. If you alternate like this much less can go wrong. Good job guys. -
I just realised the STG is an AR! I think I will classify them both as Lite LMG's.
-
What class would you put these weapons in? They are all listed as just machine gun....I think they are somewhere between SMG and LMG but not quite sure where.

Ok thanks for the feedback. The reason the sound is so screwed at the min is simply because I didn't want to spend a long time working on synching it, if it will not be used. As people seem to like that effect then I will remap it all. In this video it is the same 2 second sound repeated for 8 seconds with a weird overlay which happened when I speed up and then merged the files. It's the same with the way CODZ drops, I didn't spend any time on the position points so they aren't synched and don't follow any kind of pattern. I've asked for suggestions on the sounds, I was thinking of potentially using some character quotes, or some of the in game various noises - end of round, start, teleporter, box laugh. I just don't want to put any more time in than I already have until I know exactly what needs to be done. Then I will polish the crap out of it :)
-
Do you mind either linking or PMing me please Murder? I don't trust the resources I'm finding online with their lists.
-
Hey Black Wolf, both those quote are perfect for the ending of the video. It would start as soon as the callofdutyzombies.com drops.

I felt the need to bring this thread back up. I haven't played Five....pretty much at all. I believe the highest I've gotten solo was round 5, which I only did as part of a PAP challenge. Firstly the thief scares the crap out of me every single time. I think it's not really knowing my way around downstairs and worrying about getting lost! I used the tactic that Super has laid out last night, and got to level 35 in 80 minutes with a few twists. I opened 1 door from the start room, bought the MPL and stayed here until start of round 7, then it got a bit too much so I went downstairs. End of 7 I opened everything up, got M&S plus Bowie knife. Thief came on round 9, was no worries with my M&S. I used just the MP5K until end of round 15. Hit box - ended with > 1 M&S, 2 Ray Gun, 3 HK21. Now a combination of these 3 got me to round 34 with no change, when I PAPed the Ray Gun. I did one single slow circuit of the war room, doing lots and lots of zig zag collecting before taking them to that big orange square in front of one of the teleporters. You can kite an entire group there in a basic circle....NML players will rejoice. Even on level 33 around 12 ray gun shots into the heart of the group, finger held down whilst continuing the circle was clearing an entire hoard. It's around 6 or 7 M&S for the same result. When I started the game I was just trying to get some footage for some effects testing I was doing. Five is actually kinda fun to me now, and I will get my 50 on it within the next few days :)
