  1. Guaranteed drops are based entirely on points earned. There are also random drops which in early rounds come fast and furious, and then past round 30 come less often, past 40 almost never. The formula is as follows. First drop comes after 2000 points are earned. Then it's a multiple of 1.14 of the previous figure....thats what you require for the next drop. A formula like this begins small and then becomes greater and greater. Drop 1 comes after 2000 points. Drop 11 comes 7,4000 points after drop 10. Drop 21 comes 27,500 points after drop 20. Drop 31 comes 101,900 points after drop 30. I may be slightly wrong about the random drops, and these figures might pertain to the round number but either way you can see that eventually you require a crap load of points for the next drop. For Super's strategy and what most high level players are now doing you just need to know that 700 kills at 50 points per kill is 35,000 points. So somewhere between drop 21 and say 25 it could stop working. But most players are also shooting into multiple zombies and not exclusively using the Wave. And Solo is different than MP so the formula will change somehow. A full HK will net you 27,000 points minimum, without even a single kill. It has the potential to give you much much more with some kills and headshots especially. That's why point whoring is so important, and why bad zombie players believe that high rounds rely on luck for ammo. Not true at all.
  2. Thanks for that, i did some videos for these, hope you are not mad! Not at all mate, I like the stuff I've seen of yours. Have some brains for some good tips :)
  3. Yes and no, if you have used the teleporter during a round you can't use it again that round period. Once the new round starts you then have to wait for the 4 lights.
  4. Our favourite weapon mate makes short work of him, good old M&S!
  5. Thanks man, I wish I could get one with all the weapons on though. I know most of them are created by enthusiasts, like the Kino and COTD ones which are floating around. Trying to learn 5 different maps is a massive struggle for me at the same time!
  6. Does anyone have one of these, or know where I can find one that has locations of all weapons on it? I've looked in all the usual places, 7sins, Denrikson, google maps but really can't find one. The closest I find is one from google images but then onlineguardian restricts it!
  7. The richtofen character needs to have done both the COTD and Shang easter egg. Me and Way wasted a lot of time trying it last night before realising this.
  8. 1 - Don't try and make a crawler out of a zombie missing an arm, they can't crawl and will die. 2 - A headless zombie can hurt you. If you leave a headless zombie to die you will get 100 points. If you stab it you get 130 points. If you shoot it you get 50 or 60 points. 3 - I'm sure I've seen this posted on here before but....whilst reviving someone you can shoot the zombies by pressing triangle as you are reviving them.
  9. Absolutely fantastic guide mate to a very tough map. Brains to you, and as Way said a lot of the info applies across all maps. Only thing I disagree with is the above.....I always leave a fairly sizeable gap, whenever I'm moving forward. I stop often to let a hoard catch up and stay grouped but as soon as it's time to move again or fire and walk backwards I open up a nice gap. I rarely get pincered, and even when I get caught on something, which is most peoples biggest complaint about deaths I always have the time to move!
  10. I really want to read this but walls of texts scare me....can you paragraph it mate?
  11. Hey Eye, bit confused about these 2 parts. What is the area you are restricted to for these weapons? Specifically are you allowed to go down the stairs after buying M16 ammo before going back up to the top area? And for the stakeout are you allowed down to MPL room, the power area itself is impossible on solo....well, maybe it would be ok on OSK but once it's PAPed impossible! I need to know the limits :D
  12. The way we play quick revive isn't necessary. Revives are always simple as you are always split and can group all the zombies in your own area before sprinting to do the revive.
  13. Here is also some footage showing how to perform the glitch. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c_3smLSxq38
  14. Hey Super, you are right it's very tricky to run in there. We just played using this strategy and unfortunately had to quit at 35 as Eye had to go out. I tried that area by the Turret for the first time on 33 and managed it ok without going down. Then on 34 I got a bit too confident and went down twice there. We realised that if the flopper player starts at the bottom of the stairs it will attract a few of the early zombies coming from the Jugg area away from that turret which makes a massive difference. The simple reason we want to perfect that is that it saves at least 20-25 seconds each wave as we want to go through the trap from the flopper side. If 1 player is collecting at the PAP lander he has to come all the way back up to the flopper area and then turn around again to collect the zombies to go back through the trap. This is purely almost a speed run strategy past level 33. We spend the first 30 or so with an HK or RPK, managing with the ammo with no problems. 31 and 32 are pure point whoring with 1 player in the stamina area with an AK and the other on flopper with MP5K. Both these rounds will give 25,000 points to each player in 10 minutes each round. This was pretty much ironed out tonight, next time we are going to really both have the time to see how quickly we can get to 50.
  15. Thanks for the bribe, not at all necessary I don't care about the story, just thought others might.

  19. Hi Guys, Fu453 is doing challenge of the week but the thread kinda got hijacked by a few of us doing random challenges throughout. Forever is also doing daily challenges. This thread is intended to co-exist with their threads as it's completely random. Forever is suggesting his daily challenges, Fu is selecting a challenge of the week, this is designed for any CODZer to put in a random challenge at anytime and see who can complete. I'm going to add all the existing outstanding challenges in here and Fu will hopefully create a new thread. The challenges that will be in here are just for shits and giggles with the challenge provider offering whatever they choose as an incentive for doing it! It would be great if anyone who completes one can provide videos as it would make a nice collection of CODZ beasting zombies. If there's not an official channel they can all get listed on TeamGrimReapers or something. Superhands challenge - "Shotgun Sally" Rules: Get to round 30 using Shotguns only. 20. I use that area by the PM63 as an escape, but can't imagine spending much time there. If you are going up from the spawn with a hoard behind and then see a crap load coming towards you the best thing to do is turn left before the PM63 and go into that hidden area where you can see down onto the stage. This gives you 2 - 3 seconds of breathing space to just stand still. As the zombies come around the corner from the spawn, they will have lined up a hell of a lot, which gives you occasionally an escape back to the spawn to the left of them. If you are cut of by zombies coming from the portrait room that 2 - 3 seconds you have delayed will have hopefully got any clear of the narrow hallway. You can then slowly move left out of hiding, barely moving, keeping your back to the wall behind you. 99/100 you will find a gap just big enough by the mystery box to squirm through. Alternately if you think there are too many you can sprint towards the hallway, but then hang around there just by that tiny deadend for as long as possible, You want to leave just enough time to be able to get back into the hiding place looking over the stage. What this does is drags the zombies coming from the portrait room towards that side of the room, which in effect gives you a bit more time to manipulate them away from the mystery box which is your escape. Whenever you see someone kiting in zombies who impresses you, you will notice many many pauses and changes of directions just for a split second. These are what enables them to control the zombies so well and rarely ever get surrounded. TBH you should never be in this situation anyway, it tends to happen when someone goes down mid level and you have to move. Being pincered should always be avoidable with good map knowledge.
  21. I'm going to test figures you gave on drops but from a gut feeling I think they are pretty spot on. Is this something you have tested, read about or discovered from looking at coding? Do you know if it's the bare minimum required by the game, ie, after 2000 points have been collected a drop has to come but can also come before that is collected? I'm trying to create a spreadsheet with lots and lots of game data.
  22. 1 month I've been waiting now. I understand the process as a couple of mods have pointed out. I don't understand how you can advertise something for 2 weeks on your front page, and then not go through with it or at best do it half heartedly, or sporadically. Would it take really any longer than 5 minutes for someone to explain why no-one seems to be going into any groups? Edit - it may have been my fault I was waiting so long as I didn't send a request directly to the PM address of CodzGroups...the initial info says both options of posting in here and sending there will work. Alpha my comment was not directed at a mod, it was more about the fact that at least 2 mods have posted in here about not having access to do it, and that they had spoken to carbon regarding the issue but he was busy and nothing was being done. I realise it can't be easy running a site like this and there have been traffic issues but as this was advertised pretty heavily for a couple of weeks and was posted by carbon I felt something should have been said around why it was taking so long, especially with the amount of people in the thread complaining about this issue.
  23. The 5 places for rape trains on kino - Stage back Stage front Spawn room MP40 room Alley They are listed in ease of use. To survive indefinitely in the alley you have to be pretty beastly. These are all easier on co-op than solo!
  24. I have video proof I'm rendering right now that the waffle can drop ammo, it's the only time I have ever seen it though. The zombies were electrified too! And here is the video - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iPkwB6A1_C0
