Why Alcatraz is happening :: Doctor Who :: ALL 100% FACT.
Ourobos replied to TBGxRyan's topic in Mob of the Dead
I agree with bagel also. One thing about going back in time, the rift is never mended. Even if the cycle is broken and Al survives, there is still a rift. We see it in the Die Rise opening scene, years after Alcatraz. And who helped Richtofen and the others develop the time machine, perhaps Al himself? -
Yes zombies spawn out of it, thus the believe you can't go into the church, it's a spawn point.

Like I mentioned, mine appeared there, it was reddish purple, the game after I did the easter egg.
-
^ Nice tip, I'll give it a try, thanks.
-
Yeah it's possible, but man is it hard jumping over that gate twice in time.
-
Looks like fire camouflage to me.
-
Yep. You have a little afterlife meter in the bottom center of your screen, each 'rub' drops it down a bit, it's even visibly happening in the video.
-
Yeah, Sal is mine too.. For two reasons : "Double points? This ain't a fucking game!" and "Let's get this fucking gondola movin!" LOL I love those.
-
^ That pretty much made zero sense..

I constantly was getting the 'no grenade' glitch when rounds changed.> Glad they fixed that. It would happen with claymore too BTW.

^ excellent tip

You Can "Gain" Persistent Upgrades in MOTD, but...
Ourobos replied to Flammenwerfer's topic in Mob of the Dead
Cool if so. What about steel (4 tug to remove if still wood then) barriers, head popper, etc? Let us know what you determine. -

Ourobos replied to Flammenwerfer's topic in Mob of the Dead
I'll disagree with this. I think they can be 'gained' in MotD, but only used (or seen) in Tranzit or Die Rise. It just keeps track of your revives or other Perma perk stats while playing MotD for use in the earlier maps, IMHO. -

I had wondered where my quick revive in Die Rise came from also after spending most time on MotD.. I think you are correct Flammen.. -
There is a turbine / windmill farm near Nacht, if I'm not mistaken, out of playable range.. I think that's the reference.

I noticed even in the 40s, a max ammo seems to come at least every two rounds. Dunno about the 50s yet :D

Rank theory, hash marks and how you play NOW
Ourobos replied to Zombiefaces's topic in General Zombies Discussion
I think hash marks / blue eyes just mark consecutive days played, rank is a result of a combination of certain stats : Kill/Down, headshot percentage, total kills, revive/death ratio. -
They are actually available on Grief. I read a theory on here, and agree that Grief happened before MotD.. Perhaps the machines are broken, and being sent of, and were replaced by Electric Cherry and Deadshot Daq. in the mean time.

Well, it SEEMED like more than a round. It could possibly have been the same round we left. I am certain he locked everything, or at least the rest of everything, down while we were on the bridge. What's more interesting is that he spawned at the bridge in the middle of the round, not the beginning round brutus.

Can the zombies kill you while in afterlife mode?
Ourobos replied to Tridalo's topic in Mob of the Dead
I did notice something for the first time tonight. We decided to go down and end the game, so a kid could keep his high round. I ran into a horde, went into afterlife. First time I had noticed you have an afterlife health meter in the bottom center of your screen. In afterlife mode, I ran back into the horde of zombies, where they quickly zapped me about 15 times. I could see the meter drop almost instantly to zero and I died. SO.. In afterlife, the little zap touches the zombies do to you, DOES hurt your afterlife health. -
Found a fairly easy way to get the achievement tonight. Brutus spawned at the island, shut a few items down, well we just so happened to be getting ready to board the plane. Hopped on, spent a round and a half at the bridge.. All of a sudden "Achievement Unlocked - Full Lockdown". Then in the middle of the round Brutus spawned in on us at the bridge. Apparently he was doing his thing while we were away, shut EVERYTHING down, then came and paid us a visit just so he could die. Easiest way I can think to get the achievement.
-
I have also heard you can get the kills at the island. I'll give it a try asap.

I think it's just as Pinnaz has suspected.. In WaW, they saw it happening. So instead of recoding the whole sequence, they simply added a few lines of codes to 'punish' you. Being the fridge and the PaP probably use much of the same coding, they have the same result. As for the afterlife glitch in MotD, that could be something different they used a similar patch on in an update or at the last of their testing when it was found. My whole point is, I do not believe it is easter egg related.
-
Bad part is they crawl over the back top of the cage from behind you.. I prefer the gate by jug on the tunnel side, with the gate closed. Or the gondola even, til in the 30s.

I was under the impression this was patched.
