  1. Just sounds like Maxis writing, as he has all the journal entrees we see in game. I think he's talking about Richtofen. BTW - that date is on a Saturday, historically if that matters.
  2. Seems crystal clear to me
  3. Just because Fergeson was there from 1933-1944 doesn't mean this map didn't happen in 1933.. The single day, New Years Day, keeps repeating itself FOR THE CHARACTERS.. Everyone else's timeline went on.. Theirs is a REPEATING CYCLE.. Reincarnation doesn't move the timeline forward, it's a repeat of the same time over again. So if Fergeson said these events occurred then, then that's when the map's time frame is.. They died in the chair that night.. For murdering Weasel, just as they die in the game to go back to the prison.. Over and over again.. IF you break the cycle and escape that time frame.. Well, the game ends..
  4. Is it not New Years Eve 1933? I'm with shooter, I think MotD is where it all began, the cartoon drawings, the ray gun idea etc. "My name is Stanley Ferguson, I was a guard in Alcatraz from 1933 to 1942. Today, I'm going to give you some insight into the more interesting tales of the prison's history. Over the decades, Alcatraz has seen more than its fair share of daring escape attempts. However, few were as audacious as the one undertaken by four inmates on New Years Eve, 1933. Thought to be the brainchild of an inmate by the name of Albert Arlington, the outrageous scheme was as unlikely as its mastermind."
  5. Post # 5.. 7-22-13.. I'll take credit once DLC4 comes out, thanks. viewtopic.php?f=152&t=33956&p=318656&hilit=mars#p318656 :D
  6. If I'm not mistaken, I think mine became a sledge hammer. (Fsirt that is).
  7. I agree with this totally
  8. Yeah, not enough time for me, I go in twice, once to run back through and tip, next to PAP.
  9. Pretty much how I do it, other than I run through the house, then immediately back in to tip the pianist.. Isn't there a time limit on how long she plays? Didn't think I could pack 3 weapons and still get there in time.
  10. No, one task at a time, to do something else, he automatically smashes the crawler's skull.
  11. by .05 seconds. the difference is negligible and certainly hardly would affect zombies I may be wrong, but I believe that only the rate of fire and raise/drop time were affected. ADS time remains unchanged. Is raise time not a factor in ADS?
  12. So much for a contradictory view.. LOL
  13. by .05 seconds. the difference is negligible and certainly hardly would affect zombies Where'd you get that statistic?
  14. This doesn't even necessarily hint at Zombies..
  15. Yeah right at the very top edge it does, sorta.. It does kinda disappear into nothing, or at least to my eyes. But you all are probably right. HOPEFULLY this means another map, then the blueprint will be DLC5 or something extra ? :D
  16. BUT you can't tell if that page is behind buried, or if the blueprint page is missing at the bottom and that page is behind it.. Kinda looks like the Motd page outline to me.
  17. If you look at the picture image much close, you can also see "1915" on it.
  18. Then they apparently nerfed the quick scope speed of the DSR in the last patch..
  19. One thing I DIDN'T like about MotD, and that Buried has one up on, is that it doesn't require all four players to do something, aka pack a punch. I don't want to have to wait for the other 3 to get on a plane, or teleport from the moon to earth. If I want to pack a punch, by god let me.
  20. It's the 'newest' map, I think every 'new' map gets a better than last review, simply because it's new. It's definitely one of the easier maps.
  21. Come on man, you know that would take a whole 10 more minutes of coding / programming.. Jeeze.. :D
  22. Yeah I'd like to hear more about that too. Can you fly down there with the paralyzer? I know I've died there a few times, least favorite place on the map.
  23. Perhaps a mini-Der Riese, like the Mini-Nacht in Green Run?
  24. Hmm Wow.. I was 15th prestige, and everyone I played with loved Nuketown and Firing Range the most.. Go figure
