  1. I run counterclockwise and hug the outside as tightly as I can.
  2. I heard it on PS3 too. Not a lot of differences but his remains my favorite map. So challenging but having two of my favorite zombies guns on the wall (PDW/AN-94) plus the relatively simple way to get 6 perks is awesome. Love love love it. Got to round 27 for the first time today (only 1 quick revive bottle downed, but I failed to survive long enough to get my second one) on solo.
  3. 1.) True, but wasn't this the case for Tranzit? 2.) I hear everything just fine. 3.) I see this as a total non-issue. Once you reach a certain point, money isn't even an issue anymore and eventually you have more than you know what to do with. 4.) I for one don't really care about the easter eggs. I just like reading about them. Even Moon's EE, which had a badass reward, isn't worth it enough for all the work that is required. But as for more Theater storage, think about it realistically. Can any company afford the server space to host gameplay footage that's over an hour long? No. 5.) Isn't this still just a general Black Ops 2 issue? And one that even you admit isn't a huge problem? I don't see why this holds Die Rise back. 6.) Tranzit didn't have a new wonder weapon in the box either. Again this is a non factor that doesn't really hold the map back. Instead of new box guns we got a few bad ass wall guns in the SVU, the PDW, and the AN-94, all guns that I'd love to get out of the box, but instead, I get to choose if or when I get them. The Sliqufier, also, is very easy to assemble and very much in the vein of other WW's we've had in the past. 7.) Why does a perk have to be a part of an Easter Egg? Perks are there to make it easier to stay alive. As for the quick revive thing, that can be annoying, but maybe it's Treyarch telling us to choose one or the other. And as for only having a pistol, I mean...it's a perk that lets you revive yourself and get your perks back. They're not gonna make it a walk in the park for you. I'll agree that some improvements could have been made to Die Rise, but I don't think any of these were part of the issue.
  4. The transmissions say to pay close attention to how others behave ESPECIALLY the paranoid ones. They wouldn't stress this unless something is up. The depth behind these characters is suddenly heating up. What if in the final map all of the four characters we're playing as now eventually turn and we start the map as the original four (Sam in Richtofen's body) and our first kills are putting down these characters to rest, opening a new era of the original four for Black Ops 3? A man can dream.
  5. I can just see one of the devs watching this and going "..........woops."
  6. I like the perk but it's still kind of buggy or maybe they threw in an intentional bug because every time I go down with it it kind of just freezes and I never know HOW I died, I just find myself floored and then standing as a ghost somewhere else.
  7. Prior to Die Rise my favorite was Ascension. Free perks from the monkeys. Dark hole in your pocket. Ray/Thunder gun. Two great train spots...just a great map. Second favorite by a close margin was Verruckt. The one map that could still truly elevate my heartrate and wasn't just a game of how many tight circles can I run/eliminate until I finally mess up. It was truly survival. What kept it from being my favorite: not enough to explore, no pack a punch, lame wunder weapon (never liked the winter's howl), not exactly aesthetically pleasing. Play Die Rise. Verruckt, but bigger, better, prettier. I'm in love with this map, and it only being the first DLC makes me even more excited to see what's coming next. There's just so much to love on this map. But finally I have a map that can genuinely scare me at times. The moving perks and tight spaces really add a challenge to it all. Easily better than Green Run. Although Green Run wasn't as bad as I make it sound. The only problem with Tranzit as a concept was that it was taxing to play. Getting around the map is way too much of a chore and all the necessary items are spread across the map and the teleporting is far too random. I'd rank em like Great Leap Forward Ascension Veruckkt Nuketown Zombies Moon Kino Green Run Der Riese Call of the Dead Shi No Numa Five Nacht Der Untoten Dead Ops Shangrila (always thought it was awful)
  8. I don't know. I really liked it. I've always wanted a game mode that I can play after I've ended a long round zombies game and I feel burned out. This is the answer. Four players means easy match ups. And it's competitive. So was grief but grief games can go to shit easy when hosts or teammates rage quit.
  9. Played with a buddy the other day. Went through about 10 total runs of it the last ended on round 16 because I accidentally let myself get forced into an elevator shaft. I think based on that limited playing time it's become my favorite map. Other than Ascension, Verruckt was my favorite and this is basically a bigger, more intricate, beautiful Verruckt. Being able to get a pack a punched AN 94 and Sluqifier early on defeats my need to box for a while. Still haven't familiarized myself with all the strategies. Ended up going down on round 16 by the dragon. Haven't built the flinger pad thing yet either. Can't wait till the end of the month.
  10. My guess is we won't ever get a Tranzit map again. I think every map will have its own distinct feature. Tranzit: taking a bus route as a map Great Leap Forward: Die rise features a ton of jumping around. My guess is the next DLC will have a new unique game play feature.
  11. Can't wait till it's out on PS3. AN-94 as a wall gun is worth it alone.
  12. True. Still, I don't think it's that far-fetched that completing this potential grand EE could result in bonus gameplay. Could be some final boss fight even.
  13. The people who want to do the Easter egg have to buy them all. The people who don't buy them all can't complete it anyway, why should they feel ripped off? Anyway, I just made a thread about this: viewtopic.php?f=139&t=28175 I was thinking the same thing. If you want to message me on xbl Xieon1 I'm down to help you explore it. I don't think you get it. I'm saying, there are Zombies fans that buy all the map packs just so they can kill Zombies. They don't worry about the Easter eggs but still buy the maps. On the other hand you have a person who always completes every Easter egg, and in the end he get's new additions added onto the maps, while the person who was just in it for simple Zombie slaying get's nothing. It doesn't seem fair to that other person. Not everyone is interested in the story or the Easter eggs at all. And they shouldn't be punished for it. And yes, you said a new route or new location (And where else would a new route lead to except for a new part of the map) A person SHOULDN'T have to complete an Easter egg to get the full experience of the MAP. They are ONLY Easter eggs, not part of a story. I'm just speculating and throwing ideas out there. Mp3 audio or even a video that reveals more of the story is the most likely end result. I never said I thought that a new map would be the end result, just contemplating the possibility at this point. It's just the item is called a NAV card. Unless N A V stands for something I gotta assume that means navigation. Which would lead me to assume it has to do with more of the map. And is it really above Treyarch to screw players out of gameplay? People weren't allowed to play Nuketown zombies unless they paid for all four DLCs. I wouldn't put it past them to do something like this. A reward for the hardcore players. A screwjob for the people who don't want to pay or do the work. Like I said, it's all speculative, the main point of my theory is that I believe that each map will have a nav card that corresponds with another maps table, and upon getting them all to their respective location, SOMETHING significant will happen. Maybe you even have to complete all the EE's along with getting all the Nav Card's accepted, I just think putting Green Run's navcard on Die Rise was Treyarch's way of giving us a hint on what to do in the grand scheme of things.
  14. I'm on PSN sadly. I'm limited to watching other people play until my XBL buddy finds some time to download Revolution and let me play. As for my theory, why would you feel ripped off? If you want to play the map badly enough, learn to build the navcard tables. If anything, that's you having the opportunity to get a free DLC for completing a challenge if you've purchased the other maps. Maybe it's not a new map entirely, but definitely something that opens up more of the story. I really can't see other explanation for why Die Rise takes Green Run's but not the other way around or it's own navcard.
  15. I'm not well versed in doing any easter eggs so far on Blops2 zombies as I can never find partners good enough to complete it on 4 player. But I've seen that the Nav Card on Green Run does not correspond with Green Run's nav card table, but it does on Die Rise's table and then once it does you can't put another one in there. What I'm thinking is that maybe there will be 4 large scale maps in the DLC series including Green Run (not a DLC I know) and each map will have a nav card that corresponds with another map's nav card table and once each table receives it's corresponding Nav Card, maybe we unlock something big, like alternate routes or areas to our maps (the most likely being an alternate bus route on Green Run since I'm gonna guess that the bus receives some kind of navigational guidance, maybe from the Navcard tables) or a new map altogether. Maybe it results in an end to our story or a section of a map with EE's that reveal what we've been searching for. Not exactly revolutionary thinking, but there's gotta be a reason why Green Run's nav card is accepted on Die Rise but not on Green Run.
  16. AN-94? Self quick revive, launcher thing, wonder weapon that doesn't suck ass. I'm already falling for Die Rise.
  17. You should message all these streamers if that's true.
  18. Well as I thought, the gameplay I watched was legit. First HD video for PS3 and other users like me who just can't wait. Eh. I don't use spoiler tags enough to use em correctly.
  19. Usually I'm a terrible insomniac but I started being exhausted like 3 hours ago.
  20. Won't post the link cause leaks aren't allowed, but there's real gameplay footage out there for anyone who wants to look for it. No way it's fake either unless the faker got all the voice actors on board with it, and if they were damn good at video game development. There's a cinematic/comic inspired intro before the level starts. I think it might be the loading screen, but I hope not because it was a bit long.
  21. The map is called Die RISE though. Just saying. Personally I think you'll be able to go up and down. Doesn't seem to make sense to just have an end destination. Zombies has never had an END.
  22. It's been two days now. PSN Maintenance is over. What's Treyarch's goddamn excuse now?
  23. No I was talking about Nuketown. It's not even the 29th yet and I don't even have an XBOX. I meant Nuketown. And of course Activision scheduled the release on the date of Playstation Network's 12 hour maintenance so I can't download it until night time. I guarantee they did that on purpose. Like "oh shit well we made it available! Blame the playstation network!"
  24. Of course it's January 17th and I can't download the damn map.
