  1. Hello everyone. I bring you a new type of weapon discussion. We will be talking about guns that I have found while scouring the CODZL trailers, and while viewing a lot of the concept art displayed by various users on this site. With help from Tac on pictures and analyzation, I will be updating this quite often. I would like to start things off now. I feel this is needed to keep things rolling in a positive direction. It will also give everyone something to fall back on, while discovering and analyzing the Treyarch hint: "Shangri-la Mountains?" All images and videos were found online and I take no credit for them, credit goes to the original people who made this info possible. Starting from the top, we see: Browning Mystery Gun PSG1 AS50 Scavenger AK47 RPG M16 L96A1 So what is that gun? Could we be seeing it later on? Are all of these guns future versions of the guns I mentioned, because honestly, they look newer than Black Ops weapons. What about the sniper that the arrow is pointing at? What is that gun? There is more just wait. Here is the video if you want to view it in better resolution. It is at :53 seconds. V06QPBD-amI On to the next thing. Concept Art. Things are going to space out quite a bit from here on out so just ask if you need clarification. I got the Shangri-la art from "Onesiphorus935" so thanks to you. ^Here we have plenty of melee infused guns. Mostly comprised of bits and pieces of other guns, these guns offer something that everyone has mentioned before, A MELEE WONDER WEAPON. I know they are all shrink rays in this picture, but imagine this being implemented into any number of different guns. You simply melee to fill your ammo cache. ^These weapons include the ability to recharge themselves slowly. One of which you can actually wear on your arm as mentioned before on the forum. ^Now the bell is nothing new to CODZ. There has been talk of a bell type weapon since hackers found "The Bell" in the game and frequently use it in modded games. Of course it is nothing like this, but it has been brought up. This weapon has a resonating sound that it emits, which could have neurological implementations later on. ^This brings us to the current gun, almost. There are some peculiar changes on this one that makes me wonder: Did we miss something? I don't think we did but we may be seeing some different versions of this gun, or it's artifacts. There are four in total and judging only on color, these could include powers such as: Yellow: Electricity Red: Fire Blue: Life (It doesn't kill them now it only shrinks them.) Black: Death -wa1-bmA9rs ^In the COTD intro, while playing solo, you will notice Michael Rooker wielding two sawed-off shotguns. We have used the sawed off, yes, but NEVER dual wield. Could we be seeing more dual wielded weapons in Black Ops II, only TIME will tell. We also see the infamous sickle and a PITCHFORK. I could see a pitchfork being used, why not? Slower recovery, Extra damage, but it only lunges or stabs. No slicing motions. Last but CERTAINLY not least, the dual wield machetes. This combines the best of both worlds: Dual wielding and good ol' Melee, could we be seeing these options? cMm88GkMZBQ Where are those other rockets? I would consider these weapons we haven't "held" or "fired" . We had the honors of pressing "LAUNCH" for one, but not three. Moon did however, we launched three at earth. Could this have been the chance to stop it all and we SHOT THE ROCKET DOWN! I do not know, but we might find this out as well. Ascension is still quite a mystery to me. If any map was a drastic change, it was that one. That is for another time however. ^And what about nova gas? v We have all seen this countless times through out Black Ops zombies. The nova gas crawlers are clearly mixed with this poisonous gas somehow, and yet the QED doesn't even give us the effect. I could see a tactical grenade being implemented with a gas mask in the future. Instead of throwing a monkey away from you, you could throw the gas on top of a dying teammate and throw on the gas mask. Everything around you dies as it walks in. You would also get 10 points as often as you get hit markers on multiplayer with this weapon. I really could see this being implemented, but again, who knows?
  2. No harm done, I understand. I didn't mean to mislead anyone. If anyone would have found it, it is people on here and I know that. I just hit every post that resembled the original Twitter post. I want as many people involved as possible. I know it has to do with the mountains, and I actually posted that before I reached the conclusion that it wasn't in game. Sorry to anyone I might have mislead. And sorry to you Tac, not what I meant to do.
  3. Our heroes are immune to turning into zombies so why not be immune to dying from nova 6? It merely blinds them. The nova 6 crawlers are definitely comprised of some sort of nova 6. Now for the barrel zombies, I think we will find out soon enough. It is too early and the new game could explain it. There are just too many possibilities.
  4. There a couple options with the main one being the city. He mentions a shimmering city with rainbow hues of color. Shangri-la had no radient light source being emmited out of it. In fact he mentions he cannot see the sun where he is, and the city is in the distance. Why would there be a city in Antarctica? It does seem odd, but could hint toward the next map.
  5. Maybe there is. I would look harder. Treyarch just dropped some info saying we missed something.
  6. I think the Team Deathmatch one should be a little different. We should be able to kill each other on this one. The zombies should just be spawning randomly to prevent camping. It would still feel like zombies because of the intensity and paranoia of watching your back.
  7. This has to confirm NJ. We were already in Area 51. The diners. And this.Yeah this is where we will be, no doubt in my mind. Now the question is, why? Of all the secretive places on earth to choose,..... New Jersey? Another question I have is: Is this the only place being used as a setting in this map? Could Illuminati115 (on this forum) have been right? Could he have predicted the map? Is the map going to be comprised of different areas of the world? Transportation via teleporter? Only time will tell... ;)
  8. Not hating man, but everyone knows what you are talking about. I don't want ZOMBIES to have GUNS. PERIOD.
  9. Well said. I like the stacking thing. I think there should be a max though. Maybe it starts at 5 minutes, and it ends at 30 minutes. I think anyone would be able to deal with whatever may arise in about 30 minutes. You always have the option of making a crawler if you just need to get a drink or something. You could ask around and see if anyone desperately needs a break, if not, you stack it. I like this a lot. [brains] to you sir.
  10. Well if the zombies are your allies, that is fine. But what if they aren't? What if you happen to be playing as a chinese human and you walk into american territory? Now the game has become combat training. I don't like zombies having guns at all. Everything else is fine. I would like to be a character.
  11. You are absolutely correct yeti. I did say ALL opinions are accepted. I apologize for my reaction, but that was a whole lot of "!!!!!!!!". I can see the problems you present, but as Mega said, I think the option recently discussed would not be a bad idea for anyone. Even if you are on a high round,(in my case anyway)after taking a break, you are not as warmed up as you previously were. Your mind was taken off zombies and focused on the matter at hand. I come back from breaks on solo, after doing very well, and die because I failed to keep my rhythm. I know some people can do it no problem, but I am sure taking a break would hinder you more than help. That is impressive though, 99 in 18 hours. I don't know if I could stand that much game time with no breaks. Look at it this way though, if you did take breaks(like we are talking about)would you have made it in that time limit? No. It would have taken a lot longer. Fact is, most people don't make it that far, for the simple fact it takes too long. I don't see how adding a five minute break in there for the average player, IN A PRIVATE MATCH, would make people want to push for 99. It would take even longer than a normal game. There will always be those who cheat or hack their way to the leaderboards. You can't prevent that. You also can't make your decisions about things being implemented, based on that. If that were the case, a lot of things could have been left out for the simple fear of manipulation. It will happen. That doesn't mean you should take away from the majority of the population on zombies. If you made it to 99, more power to you, and mad respect. Most people make it to about 40 or 50. I mean look at this site. Those who have proven their leaderboards, and have a medal, are often in the 40 category. For those of you with skills and TIME to make it further, why not have a break for your casual gameplay?
  12. Well. I knew there would be people like yeti. You got so mad at the idea and the fact it might be seen, that you completely went blind and started yelling. I love it. This is merely an idea yeti, calm down there buddy. :evil: Now as for the rest of you, I can see your worries, and they are justifiable. The main reason shared in all the posts is the fact that there will be more 99'ers. Really? Zombies takes forever as is. Why would you think adding more time to that would help? I know there are people who don't have lives and they are able to play nonstop without breaks. The majority of people have children, or girlfriends, or duties, or chores, or a social life, or money, or they are thirsty, or hungry, or a dog, or they smoke, or school, and I can go on and on. Even if they don't add it, I will be fine with that. I haave made it this far already, so going further is no problem. The difference between us, is I won't be messaging you yelling at your ideas if they do make it. You people(and you know who you are) are hilarious. Yeti if you care to continue blindly typing, send me a message, I'm sure I can make you a lot more mad. I have plenty more ideas where that came from... Only kidding.

  14. I really got to thank everyone for the feedback. I made this thread a while ago and at the time it didn't get much attention. You can tell by my post above. (ONLY TWO POSTS?) I really like the idea. I could see the box mechanics being incorporated, as well as regular attachments. I just had the feeling it would be annoying, not being able to choose which one. It would cut down even more on the "over poweredness" of the idea though. I wouldn't mind either way though. Again thank you.
  15. I think you are absolutely correct. They should create a map editor for the public, and release it as DLC. I think your examples for the size of the downloads, are a little low. Something that "in depth" would require a lot of memory. I would see it running about 6-9 gigs. It would be giant. To create detail that good, it would be giant.
  16. I agree. I would like to see zombie challenges incorporated. I want new kinds of challenges though. I don't want the usual "Get fifty kills with grenades." I want one similar to the medal system we have on here: Survive so long without jugg. Do not purchase anything in a game lasting longer than five rounds. Shot gun only. Etc. Also I think you are correct about the whole buying more perks thing. I mean, if you down, and you lose them anyways, why can't you buy all of them? You can get all of them on COTD on solo by killing George, and you still lose them when you go down. Why can't you just buy them?
  17. Yeah that was kind of messed up. I remember seeing that on the news a few weeks back. It kind of brings the whole idea of it into perspective. I gotta say though, that was kinda random and probably belonged somewhere else. :? But it's all good. 8-) No worries. Now in keeping with the conversation, I have to agree with Tac. Zombies would have went nowhere if they didn't go outside the box.(literally)The first map had nothing. One box and a few guns. If Treyarch stuck with the same thing this whole time, we would have nothing more than a box on the moon.
  18. You are right, to an extent. Of course that IS your opinion so really, you can't be wrong or right. Let me explain. After Pack a Punching, your gun will do itself justice, and after a while it will pay itself off. The PaP is the best thing ever as far as I am concerned, and in no way am I trying to replace it. I am just one of the few in this croud of people, who would enjoy having more than one Major Wonder Weapon in each map. I want the thundergun and the jgb....shrinkgun. . OP? Maybe. I would still want it. My idea would offer these weapons at a much lower ammo capacity, cutting down on the OP a little.
  19. Maybe you could select which one, by simply shooting one or two rounds at a desidnated area, next to your selection? I don't know. I do think you are correct about the amount of time it would take. But then again, the hacker proves anything is possible with a crawler.
  20. I also agree on this. The only problem I could have seen with the "Vote to Pause" feature, was trolls. If the feature was only in private match, this would not be a problem. I only added the time limit part to have another option. I appreciate the feedback.
  21. Bump! I would hate to see this idea go to waste in the back of the forum. I would also hate to see UndeadXP's "Build-a-Trap" idea go to waste back there so I encourage him to do the same. If you feel differently, that is fine. EDIT: Why is this in single player? Can a mod please move this to black ops 2 ZOMBIES discussion?
  22. Exceptional layout. I've seen users with your amount of posts, post waaaaay worse. Now as for the contents, I don't know man. What picture are you talking about with the building? I haven't seen one that looked like Kino on this site. If it is leaked it is probably best if you don't reference it on this site. If you are talking about the top of the building in the picture with the soldier, I can't see enough of it to draw a conclusion. The ladder in Kino isn't anything of significance. I have a feeling Treyarch just put that there to spark conversation. And the M16 is just normal in zombies now. I hope we do make it back to Germany in BLOPS2. I just have a feeling we won't. My reason for this is the fact that Kino was actually supposed to be on WaW as a map pack. Black Ops left off on the Moon though, and I doubt we are going to Mars next, so you never know. I am not flaming, I tried to make this as polite as possible. Again, excellent layout and I will be looking forward to more posts from you.
