The easter egg is just another way to break the monotany. I can see what you mean though. People have definetly been devoting a lot of time to easter eggs. I don't find it detrimental, however. As, soon as the easter egg is done, everything is just as it was. Should they tweak it a bit? Sure, why not? It doesn't kill the feel for me though. After the easter egg I feel like I am emersed in the story completely, so why not be that much more ready for the next 30-40 rounds. You can always play the map normally. Set off the music and jump around for half an hour listening to a radio. I prefer to spend my time playing Sam says. Apples and oranges my friend, apples and oranges.

I do not agree at all. They have plenty of story input in the radios, as well as through the easter egg. If you don't want an advantage you shouldn't do the easter egg. Think back to Ascension and the uproar they got for a deathmachine being the end result. We have already surpassed the difficulty of said map's easter egg with Shangri-la and Moon. They can't go back now. They blew up the earth and it gave us permanent perks. The sky isn't even a limit anymore.

I would like a poster or t-shirt that is exclusively for BO2. You're right Hgoat, it is all crap. Even though it is limited time offers, im sure they have high demand for hardened and prestige editions. If they do, there is no way they can make a decent, functional, durable prize, and still mass produce it and give it away for less than it costs to make it. I just want a full year of cod elite included, and a kick ass campaign/zombies poster or t-shirt. -
I would like to get a choice of one wonder weapon from the previous maps, as well as only the perks you haven't bought being permanent. Explanation Retro Wonder Weapon Armory Apon completion of the easter egg, an armory would open. It's already in DOA so it would be easy to incorporate it, same music and all. It could be separated by something as small as the stairs on Shangri-la.(PAP) The room would include every wonder weapon from every map, but you can only choose one. Every player has their choice making for seemingly different gameplay every time. You cannot buy ammo for the weapon you select and once you select one, all others become inactive. Perks you havent bought It has been brought up quite often that all perks being permanent was a little too much or OP. What if only the perks you haven't bought became permanent. Apon completion of the easter egg the game would give you the final four perks and make them permanent. The first four would go away when you got downed. This would create a lot of challenges and strategies for the community. You COULD buy jugg now OR you could wait and never lose it. The permanent ones could be outlined brighter on screen or something, maybe a different color border.

MAAAAN! I have been waiting for this moment since you mentioned it in the other thread. [brains] to you my friend. Honestly the most awesome thread in a while. Not a flaw one in my book. Only good things. PLEASE Treyarch, if you take anything from this site, make this it. As for the Mule kick zombies, I like the triple hit idea but I would like to see extra limbs as well. Think about it, we get an extra gun, so they get an extra arm or two. EDIT; gotta spread my brains out but will be back. Great Idea Man.

I don't mind any bosses. It doesn't force me to do anything. Tweak it a bit maybe, but nothing drastic. If anything they make me better and more aware of my surroundings. George actually enhanced gameplay for me because it gave me a way to get all perks without anyone else or an easter egg. When they put in Mule Kick I was even more set to take on COTD. Point racker/Raygun/George gun (before i get all perks upgraded dragonov/L96, after i get all perks VR11) My favorite zombie period is the shrieker so there's that. Napalm looks and feels so real and epicly evil. The Doctor on five was too much for me and I hate that level. The one I have mixed emotions about is the astro-zombie. I like it because it keeps me paranoid, so I rarely go down. I Hate it because of the Gersh. Moon or not take out the moonwalk, please. -
Treyarch please don't make BLOPS2 like WAW2.

First off, I appreciate you explaining yourself instead of just saying NO YOU'RE WRONG!-(end post). I still disagree with you, however. WaW was bland. The maps might have had more things to climb on, but personally I'm not thinking about climbing anything when I am 20-0 runnin and gunnin. Today's gamer has been playing COD for a while now. We have grown keen in the ways of misleading and flanking. Call of Duty has grown as well. It seperates itself from the other games through being a high FPS(frames per second) FPS(first person shooter). It adds to this a sense of imediate gratification with the killstreaks. Bringing in vehicles would take away from the killstreak aspect MAJORLY. I'm not going back to WAW era killstreaks. Ever again. I'll also hand it to you that the BO maps can't handle vehicles because they didn't have vehicles. This is a good point but I stick with my opinion. As for taking the best of both and making BO2. Nein. We don't need World at Black War Ops. Just one of them. As for Treyarch copying IW, EVER. THAT my friend is crazy IMO. All of the MW's are the same. Pretty much what you see is what you get. Treyarch always gives there fans room for imagination and theories. Thats why we are discussing this. Do you think I would be caught dead on a IW dedicated site? What would they even talk about? -

OK I kind of started this whole mess, and though I do appreciate the feedback...we really gotta get back on subject. Here is my answer: No. Not only would it ruin gameplay but every map would end up looking like an arcade or something. Imagine Nacht with eight perks and a PaP. Where would you run? The map barely has enough room as is, your talking about taking off an eighth of the map. You would still only be able to buy four anyways, so really you are giving up area for four perks you won't use. See there, I made it a whole post without screaming OP OP OP (wah wah boohoo) OP. :lol: -

I think you are going a little too far into the future. Not bad ideas but most of the people on this forum are racking their brains trying to think of stuff for this upcoming game. The end result of the story by the end is a little too far ahead. Again, good ideas. Bad timing.

I'll admit I was very "opinionated" and I apologize for the rant. It does kind of let me down, however, when I come onto MY FAVORITE SITE EVER! expecting to see nothing but well thought out posts about zombies for FUTURE games, and I see 15 topics labeled Treyarch please make BLOPS2 as close to WAW as possible without calling it WAW2. I understand the want and need of the true core zombie gamer. I started zombies on Nacht der unToten just like you. I DO want a WAW2 game. I DO NOT want a blending of the two. It seems Treyarch even put distinction between the two by calling this season of the saga "zombies" and not "nazi zombies". WAW2 would be EPIC in all aspects of the word. Black Ops is already great as itself. No need to make World at Black War Ops. Again sorry about the rant. Oh and thank you. -

I hope they do bring back vehicles, cause I'd find you, run around you in circles a few times, plant a c4, teabag dance, and BOOM! I guarantee you would spend more time spinning your turret while sitting still. COD gamers have grown significantly in running and gunning skills. I WISH YOU WOULD BRING A TANK IN MY GAME! COME AT ME BRO! :) -
I personally like the shrieker zombies. I think they should add a few zombies like this, but a little different: Same speed. Same health. Possibly add duck-and-roll from ascension zombies. Possibly add new effect or attack.

Honestly, I have to be alone on this site. Why would you go out and buy WAW, Then go out and buy Black Ops, and yet you want the original maps to be exactly the same as the previous game? That makes no since. Go play WAW if you want it classic. This is Black Ops. And as I remember, before the Rezurrection map pack was released, everyone on this site was complaining that they wanted the old maps on Black Ops with some added goodness. Now all of a sudden it takes away from the gameplay. Make up your mind people. Thats why there are seperate COD games. Each one has its own unique gameplay. If you want everything to be like it was, GO PLAY WAW! -

Not hating just saying. 1)No...unless they make waw2. I know zombies started there so everyone has there guns they love for some good ol' fashioned zombie killing, but as I said before, You bring me any gun from ww2 era and I will show you a gun from this era that is better. Those guns are old. Not saying there is no place for them, but unless I'm playin a game from that era, I want new guns. 2)YES! Better support for higher rounds PLEASE. As for the voting system on annoying players, Private match solved that for me so I'm not too worried about that. 3)This would be a good compromise if they did bring back ww2 guns. Just cause I don't like the idea, doesn't mean everyone doesn't. 4)I hope they have a better idea,(combining a few perks)but yes, this is a good idea also. 5)Bandolier should just be an equipment of some sort. Not one that takes the place off hacker or claymore, just there. No on the akimbo thing. 6)YES! 7)Big maps are welcome but with guidelines stated by Alter. As for fun maps, ALL zombies maps are fun to me 8) PLEASE Treyarch PLEASE>>yes 9)possibly 10) YES! -

Obviously Jmasta has no idea what he/she/it is talking about. Either trolling or just flat out likes to see himself type. This is the BIGGEST problem in CODz since the beginning. Zombies has become more of a game of HOPE, than skill. You can have the skills to make it to lvl 10000, but if your game has different plans, you might as well quit while your ahead. This is the reason I don't try to beat records.(with the exception of NML) I normally go till about 30-40 maybe 50. After that it's lagging so hard already, I kill myself off so I don't lose anything. This topic is very relevant and quite possibly the biggest flaw in zombies. Let's HOPE they fix it this time around. I have a feeling it wouldn't be resolved until next-gen consoles though. :roll: -

Ya ive tried so many different ways of deciphering the numbers but,(not being a code expert) I came up with these..."phrases" HWFTDRVBFVCADWNC GNLLIJEM DLJIGICL QDVBTLCFPUCZNVWC ...none of which say anything as far as I can tell. Having problems with the description code, however. Not too sure how you are supposed to decipher letter/number codes. -
Im not hatin' man. Merely stating flaws. I agree that there should be an area similar. Just not No Man's Land. It's clear they know the right formula to make it work, so there is no reason to use the same place. Also, I want a No Man's Land type area on the stock map just as bad as you. I have a feeling the first map wont have one though. I think it will be similar to Kino, (small easter eggs/more story info/all around good time ) but be a bit bigger and include all perks.... I forgot who originally brought this up on here, but I think a second disc designated to zombies would be the best bet. The second disc could include all zombie maps, and possibly a campaign that explains everything we already know (nacht - moon) only in more detail and sequence. I would say it should include all of the maps drawn out as an overview, but I think elite 2.0 will include it. -
I've been noticing more and more posts regarding things found in WAW being put into BLOPS2. I for one think this is rediculous and would like to state my opinions on such topic. It almost seems like half the people never bought BLOPS, they just played WAW until now. WaW was a testing ground in many ways. The things that Black Ops doesn't have from WaW, are taken out for a reason. Vehicles are too OP for COD gaming. I don't know if they could even manuever well enough in today's maps. The maps in WaW were wide open fields and rather plain. Todays maps include alot of tunnels/buildings/hallways. The majority of the time, you would prolly just be sitting still in a tank and spinning the turret, hoping someone makes it back there. As far as WaW guns go, PLAY WAW! The only reason the gun you like from WaW is soooo good is because it hasn't been nerfed. I guarantee you, you could bring me any gun from that era, and I will find one from a newer era that is better ten fold. Also if and only IF they did bring the guns back, you think they wouldn't be nerfed? Its a new game. We need new weapons.

Nazi Zombies III; not sure what you mean. Sam IS the one on moon so would it be her mom trying to find her? Fans try to find the studio? Google maps. Rictofen isn't dead, so unless Treyarch kills him off THIS season, idk. Soul Hunters? :roll: not too CODz-ish. There will always be the same ending. We die. COD Origins:Not gonna lie. Even though this sounds alot like waw2. I wouldn't mind getting more of a back-story on the other three. Not too sure about the alternate ending thing though. Takes away from the added suspense of how desperate your situation really is. COD Zombie WW: NO just...NO.

to: MNM the main reason your theory won't work is trolls. It is hard enough trying to get people to get on the teleporter. Going by your theory, a random person would be chosen to hold a Gersh. If that person happened to be like half of the population on zombies,(trolls) you can count the new map out, cause you will never leave.. Imagine as soon as you spawn you hear "Samantha's throw something out of map" laugh because the one guy that was chosen to be savior, has now thrown your escape into oblivion. EDIT: Also, what if you luck out and the guy throws it down and only three of you jump in. One guy stays behind to troll. Would you be able to continue without him? Too many flaws my friend. Too many flaws.
