  1. OK look. When I was replying, I thought this was just to explain 4 possible new characters. I never thought this would blow up into an ordeal about paradoxes. I think what the OP said would be a great side theory on how we ended up with eight characters. I would rather have two different demensions of the original crew than some kind of bull crap theory about why these four new characters are important. I agree the actual survival story-line SHOULD consist of new characters at times, but I would much rather OP's theory for 4z4. I could imagine a new mode called VIP or something where whoever is Sam or old Rictofen is to be escorted.
  2. I think you are close, but I feel like there will be a possible "Face-Off" mode for this. Similar to MW3 with the 1v1, 2v2, 3v3, and 4v4. I'm not sure if we will get as many options either. I hope we see: FACE-OFF Fetch me their souls!!!! """""""""1z1""""""""" 2z2 3z3 4z4 This would offer everyone a chance to play with their close friends. If you have seven other friends that are online and down to play, you have 4z4 to play. If you only have one other friend, you could play 1z1. This eliminates the NEED for random games and creates more of a choice in the matter.
  3. I'm just throwing this out there but Nuketown might end up being the 4z4 map. Think about it, it would be perfect. Maybe make the map a little bigger, or further down Trinity Ave. Also, if it is NOT 4z4, what if population 1 actually means "YOU" and that's it. Solo games anyone?
  4. WOW!! Treyarch has done it again with a new installment we never seen coming. (or at least I didn't) Nuketown was quite a small map, but outside the map was much more. Let's take a look: :geek: If you notice, the area we know as Nuketown is only a fourth of the actual map size. I have a few things to touch on before I leave it to you: the people. Vehicle Explosions: This was brought up by FPSrussia in his latest video about zombies and we can somewhat rely on that because of the Tacitus videos. Nuketown is full of cars and trucks and what-not. This would offer us a trap that costs nothing but still gives us points. Another thing to back this up is the map we have seen labeled "The Map". In a city such as that you would see cars everywhere. I really like this concept and I hope it is brought into zombies. Especially Nuketown. Climbing/Jumping: Have you ever climbed out of the window in Nuketown and jumped off the ledge for an awesome kill? I know you have. Have you ever climbed up the ledge and jumped through the widow on a camper? I know you have done this as well. It is a great escape route and I hope it remains. Most maps do not offer climbing over or even jumping over objects. I think with Nuketown this should change. It would take away from it as I know it. Music Egg: Nuketown was the only multiplayer map to offer a music egg, and now it's a zombie map. Wow! I wonder how the mechanics on this one will pan out? Are we shooting dummies for the song? Or are THEY a new boss? IDK Well that is all for now, but I would like to hear what you think could be changed, or kept the same. Let's try to keep it with the topic though. There is a story thread for this map, and now a bit of a gameplay thread.
  5. What better game mechanics than: A lot of things are slowly tying together.
  6. Honestly, this IS quite reasonable. It would be great to hear the crew talking to themselves from another dimension. I am a little confused though. Is the last bit a game mode? If so it would be decent, but one team would be protecting Sam not Rictofen.
  7. So I guess you were one day off on wave 3, Oh well, tomorrow it is then.
  8. Could you please use a little bit of punctuation? I understand what you're saying but it hurt to read that. However I don't like the idea of locking stuff out like that. If somebody doesn't have the money to buy one map then they'd be missing out simply because they don't have it. The napalm zombie AND the 4 player requirement is extremely annoying on shang though so I've only done that easter egg once ever. The one for moon isn't that bad though since the map is easy enough that waiting for t6 to breach is just a joke. I've done the whole easter egg as early as round 13 and as late as 36 but that one part is always the one I wait on. Lol, there was one comma... :)
  9. With the introduction of strike force inside the campaign, and decisions carving the path toward multiple endings, I think it would be cool to incorporate a leveling system into the campaign this time around. This idea may be over-looked or spat upon at first, but all I ask is you consider the following: The campaign (I feel) is going to be groundbreaking in the way Call of Duty preforms in single player. It has always been one set path that never differs unless you amp up the difficulty. This time around we have various ways of attacking and defending. We have multiple endings and choices to make along the way. I for one have always played the campaign for the achievements, and that is all. The story was great, but most of the Call of Duty campaigns were similar in the way they played out. This time I will definitely play it more than once just for the experience. That being said, if they were to add a leveling system along with prestige, it would open up an enormous amount of change to be added as well. I for one would never want to mess with the core of Call of Duty, so I will be careful how I word this. In many different games you are given a leveling system that even if you beat the game, if you start it over, you continue on you previous level. Enemies in these cases would be the same health as you and weapons are upgraded as well. I think this would be a great way to change the difficulty to a more gradual, yet difficult setting. Imagine: You start the game off the very first time and are given normal weapons and the enemies are difficult, but still low intelligence and pretty much act as sitting ducks. The more XP you gain, by killing enemies, mission choices, headshots, etc.. the harder the enemies become and the better your weapons get, or possibly even a create a class feature. The higher your level, the better your arsenal. The better your arsenal becomes, the better the enemy arsenal becomes. You start the game off the second time and you are still at the level you previously were, which means you have your best weapons and the enemies are crucially hard from the beginning. Only problem I do see with this is the whole prestige aspect. It would be better if you COULD prestige, but what happens to the enemies in the middle of the game when you prestige? They dumb down along with yours and their weapons? I don't know about this part, so any input would be greatly appreciated. So that's about it. I think adding prestige tokens might be great as well but it may be pushing it... What do you think about the whole idea?
  10. Not hating or anything, but this was a pretty successful thread not too long ago. The original person to bring it up just hasn't bumped it in a while. Not too sure who it was.
  11. I like the raccoon idea. Very original and makes since. I'd have to say that one is my favorite so far. Here is something I would like taken from the Perk Zombie thread, that I can't seem to find. If the author could kindly message me and give me a link, it would be much appreciated. Credit goes to you: Jugg Zombie: This zombie would be twice to three times the health of any other normal zombie. It will resemble the others, but will be way more beefed up. It deals twice the damage of a normal zombie and runs as fast as a normal sprinter ( not the Verruckt/Romero type of sprinter ).
  12. OK so if Avogadro's formula DOES have something to do with zombies, how would it be implemented? I think that was the original question, correct me if I am wrong. If I am in fact correct, we must start at the beginning. This could end up being incorporated many ways, but at the moment I will only elaborate on three: Weapons: The power that pressure creates is phenomenal. As stated above, you could picture this with a balloon. The more air you add, the bigger the balloon gets. The more you let out the smaller it gets. This has some variables however, as the molecules to settle and will eventually flatten the balloon. Looking from a weapon standpoint, I could see more of a charge gun. The more 115 molecules you add to the container, the bigger the blast. Possibly a pulse gun or a new laser. I could also see this implemented as a new tactical grenade. Some sort of cube or something that draws in 115 molecules until it explodes? I don't know. The Secret to The Four Heroes: I know this is a biiiggg leap from ordinary, but bare with me. If you took the same principle, and replaced growth in size, with growth in immunity, this would explain everything. Don't tell me Treyarch never bent the truth about things in the past...(DIE GLOCKE. Flying Bell gone Teleporter) If the heroes were slowly introduced to 115, the molecules would build up in their bodies to a point that it became normal (maybe ) Zombies: This is another equally possible idea. What if the amount of bullets you put inside of a zombie, actually made him bigger? The Moon astronaut acted somewhat similar to a balloon, but never got any bigger. Using the same principles I brought up in the weapons area, the bullets would make the zombie bigger, and leaving him alone should "deflate" him as well, right? The only thing I am stuck on with this idea, is how would you kill something like that? Shoot till he pops? What if he doesn't and before long he is giant? Too much thought on something so small...I digress.
  13. I'd rather the riddles than ruining the anticipation of all of you. Do your research, the information is out there YOU just have to find it. I am just shocked they were real! :o
  14. No, this has to do with zombies. Do some more research, look around. Avogadro. It does relate to zombies. That's about all I can say because we here at CoDz have rules. Well played my friend. Well played. I think between the QED and now all of this talk of molecular temperatures and what-not, it is safe to say we are in for a real treat this time around. With this latest tweet and what Strwrsbob "isn't" talking about, I am completely stoked and mind-blown at the facts in front of me. Research has begun.
  15. So I stand corrected, for now. Moving forward with this thread, however, I think there may be a bit too many options. I like all the ideas, I just think we should narrow them down a bit. Maybe focus solely on melee weapons we have seen already, rather than just any weapon. Even I said "chainsaws" and I know this is a new Melee weapon thread, but looking at the list above leaves it looking more like dead island than CoDz.
  16. actually it has changed and it takes two knives to kill someone now on multiplayer. If you pull out your knife it is only one knife kill.
  17. OK so busted. It was a good thought though. I wasn't saying "Five" is connected with the future. Maybe Nuketown 2025 is connected to the past. Either way, it's all good if this is wrong.
  18. anyone else notice the classic world at war laser sights on every gun? Awesome.
  19. I would like: More steps that revolve around killing zombies (temple on Moon) Two or more major Wonder Weapons by the end. (Maybe an armory) The epic return of the flytrap. (implemented differently of course) If I can think of any more, I'll post them in this thread. As for the story:"Nothing like a shock to open your eyes."-marine one "AAAAaaaAAAEE(zombie shriek)...what....the....fuck.."-marine two "Whoah you don't look so good. Your eyes are lighting up."-marine one "I knew this shit would happen...(shriek) I told him we should have left."-marine two "Dempsey knows what to do marine. Never doubt your brothers."-marine one "Well where did he go then, if he's so noble."-marine two "Why don't you ask HIM, He's right here."-marine one As you can see, the voices within are two of the marine's from Nacht der Untoten. As the story goes on we learn that one of them didn't make it, and marine two is badly injured by the zombies. Marine one will not lose another one so he asks our heroes for some help. He mentions that the tree in the side cemetery contains vril in the fruit. Upon searching for the fruit, the player realizes the once dead tree, is now full with leaves. The next time the storm leaves the fruit appears. Once you obtain the fruit and make your way back, you hear deep zombie roars, and cries for help. It seems marine two has become a vril infused zombie with the same power as a juggernaut. The zombie figure on the statue begins to crack and crumble until marine two busts through. Wearing shredded marine uniform, and extremely pumped up, marine two will make martyr's look like sheep. Defeat this zombie and return to the statue for more directions. Marine one is broken up, but promises to avenge him in life. When suddenly a voice from above screams out:"OOOH Dempsey! I see you found your friends...And one of them died...Oh well! And YOU! I thought I left you to rot in Germany. How did you make it here? Nevermind, I'll have none of it. You will never get free! And more importantly, DEMPSEY IS MINE!" With the final words, a rumble will shake the entire map and the number of zombies per person will double for a round. Richtofen agrees to free Marine one, but vows the crew will die before they leave.(obviously) Marine one says his goodbyes and raises the fountain to reveal PHD Flopper. Regardless of how many perks you have, you can purchase Flopper, and it will never go away. The other perks, however will go away when downed. Allowing for this egg to be done in solo. While playing solo, the only playable character will be Dempsey.
  20. I think the one ^ you are speaking of is called the swarm. I could be wrong though.
  21. So the "Five" Fallout Shelter sign being exactly the same as the Nuketown 2025 symbol? It was merely a lack of other options for a symbol? I think not. I understand the map took place during desperate times, but they MIGHT have been hinting at more. That is all I am saying. Food for thought.
  22. It actually says a three place lightning strike, much like mortars. I think OP is right.
  23. I don't know if it has been brought up before, but once you take the elevator to the labs on "Five", if you look into the window on the right, you will see the Nuketown 2025 symbol. Yes, it is missing the atom symbol, but below it it says "Fallout Shelter". This hints even more toward nuclear incidents, which could point fingers toward zombies. If Nuketown 2025 has anything to do with zombies, I think the rockets, (that were never confirmed to be 115 rockets), could have in fact been the crisis the "Five" crew was talking about. It IS a long shot, and I know this. Simply thought you should know the connections that I made. If anyone can get a picture of this, I would be very greatful.
  24. If you have ever played Moon, you will also hear Dempsey say something to the notion of: "Let's use Tak's katana, Oh wait, it's just a decoration (sigh)" Many of the people on here believe Tank is regaining his memory and possibly knows a bit more than the others. He is always speaking directly to Treyarch and says things that everyone who plays the game has thought before. (i.e. "Power again?") I believe Treyarch threw that one liner in there as a possible hint toward melee weapons. We have seen dual wielded machetes and all kinds of other weapons that involve melee through cut-scenes and concept art. I think they have been building the hype of melee weapons to an epic climax on this next game. The knifing system has changed on multiplayer, so why not add some new aspects to zombies? I just hope there are more than one choice.
  25. *Chainsaws* would be awesome too.
