  1. 20 points? Newsflash
  2. The dude is way off...ranking is not simply KD.
  3. Ok... elaborate? How do you do it without 4 players? I don't know if anyone answered your question, but I have a guide on how to do this with less than four players here: FPs5yiYxdUI Basically you need at least 2 players, both with EMPs, then you both need to throw an EMP grenade at different street lamps, quickly jump through the teleporter and then throw your last grenade at the one you come out at.
  4. Its not deadshot daquiri, in fact it is nothing remotely like it. I have this 'perk' and all it does is pop zombies heads, there is no increase in damage, no extra points and it does not count as a headshot for your player. I have tested this. It is only a cosmetic 'fun' type of ability. People only started calling it Deadshot because that is the only perk they know associated with headshots. Actually it is likely that many of these permanent abilities have nothing to do with the perks we are familiar with at all.
  5. Grief Mode! 8 Player Zombies for the win!!!! q-PTWuWTH1s
  6. Fantastic thread, well done on compiling all these records and videos! As Pishizor points out the world record is not 1337 on WAW shi no, not even Yote would claim it is (hell I've got to 1337 myself along with about twenty or thirty others, some who are 100% legit like xBluPhoenix others who may not be). The 2147 one is the highest legit game I am aware of on the map.
  7. Camping as a strategy is useless if you want to get past round 40 because ammo runs out and conventional weapons stop working. To get to high rounds you need for everyone to run a train. In Shi No this is easy as there are lots of areas to run individual trains. With four we have one in the thompson room, one just outside the flogger (fishing hut area), one just outside the comm hut on boardwalks and one just outside main hut in comm room area. This is very comfortable for reviving, running trains and using traps if you coordinate. With Verruckt its harder because you have less room but we run one in the thompson room, one directly above at top of stairs, one outside **** please report this topic, post **** running loop through sawn off room and hall next to it, and one running american spawn running loop through the three rooms including the jug, hall and the other room next to jug. This gets tough past round 35 and is harder to coordinate runs through the traps when regular guns start to lose effect.
  8. Yes this quote guarantees that we will see a new exclusive easter egg or two in the iOS version of BO Zombies. I wouldn't read too much into the 'his prized wunderwaffe' part though, these guys are not Treyarch, Treyarch are not even credited in the BO iOS version the way they were in the WAW iOS version, and probably had very minimal input. I doubt ideaworks have any new storyline input or can shed light on any part of the existing storyline.
  9. 1. This guy has only 300K points on a map where you have to kill all the zombies without traps. He should have more than 7 million points in hand by this stage, even hitting the box frequently. 2. In the clip he doesn't seem to be actually killing any zombies. 3. He does not show how he is actually killing zombies, he is just running a train, using flopper (which is useless at round 100) and spraying for points. 4. There is no death screen to show actual final kills or points. 5. The dude wanted to be anonymous and provided this to someone else to upload (WTF?) perhaps he was worried about getting banned or ruining his reputation? For these reasons I don't consider this a world record and highly dubious for a number of reasons, although there is no way to say for sure due to the limited evidence submitted. As shown by the leaderboards on World at War (where there are literally thousands of hackers/glitchers with the top scores), Black Ops and MW3 Survival it is way too easy for hackers/mod users/glitchers to get to high rounds. What some of them do is hack instantly to a high round of their choice, then run a simple train, record 3 mins of footage and try to claim a world record without showing any death screen.
  10. There is also exactly the same type of glitch in iOS shi no numa where all the zombies only spawn from one window in a certain area of the map. A glitch is defined as "a programming error which results in behavior not intended by the programmers" and glitching is "the practice of a player exploiting faults in a video game's programming to achieve tasks normally impossible if the game's script runs as intended". I would say based on those definitions this could be considered a glitch, as the programmers would not have intended zombies to only spawn from one window under certain conditions, but this is maybe not as bad a glitch as one where you can't get hit at all, or one which causes Zombies to gather in a certain area of the map like certain Nacht and Der Riese glitches. Personally I am against any form of cheating or intentional glitching to gain an advantage.
  11. True, and I like the new BO maps as well, but WAW was designed to look grungy - I believe the word the designers used was 'gritty'...I like the bleak atmospheric old maps
  12. Hey Superhands thanks for going to the trouble of looking these up! I had thought therelaxingend had also got to 45 on Nacht. I kinda thought no one was interested in this thread which is why I haven't checked in on it for a while. I will have to look up the record for COTD (I think its about 70)
  13. I have more fun playing world at war for some reason. Personally I think the 24 zombies per round for Nacht and Verruckt really balances those maps well since they are both still challenging. Also as you say the WWII weapons are kick ass. I don't know what you mean by zombie hits pulling you back, this never happens to me, in fact WAW zombies tend to let you squeeze through gaps whereas BO zombies would close line you in the same situation. Double slap happens in BO same as WAW (more on some BO maps). Juggernog has exactly the same properties in WAW as in BO (eg four consecutive hits kills you), however the bowie knife was nerfed in Black Ops and you can actually use it for a one hit kill for about 2 extra rounds in WAW. As far as getting to high rounds goes, I have got as high as 115 in Nacht and 1337 in Shi No Numa on WAW and I can tell you I would never get that high in Black Ops on the same maps. The one major annoyance in WAW zombies is the Wunderwaffe in Der Riese which takes away the effect of Jug if you get any splash damage which makes it impractical in WAW as opposed to BO where they fixed this (but reduced number of rounds)
  14. Five is awesome. People don't like it because its hard. The only thing I don't like is when random dicks troll you with the elevators
  15. Here are my thoughts on the update, particularly the addition of COD points -irOaVIswdw I'm interested in knowing if any Zombies players would ever want or need to buy doors/perks/weapons etc with real world money instead of just, you know, playing the game?!
  16. I don't mean that any particular high round game is unprovable, I mean that no one can prove that there is no higher game that someone else has achieved, because 1. There are no solo leaderboards, 2. There are multiple platforms for Zombies 3. Leaderboards glitch out (eg high scores/rounds are wiped) and are hacked and 4. Most people who play Zombies don't record their gameplay. Therefore any attempt to claim any record on Zombies is meaningless except as a method of self promotion for those who make the claim.
  17. I know that TRE did Nacht Black Ops to 45 without perks which was super epic and he claims is a WR for the map. I don't really know what the record is though. To be honest I am not a big fan of people claiming Zombies records anyway because they are all ultimately unprovable and usually rely on Youtube footage (apart from being somewhat desperate and inherently narcisistic)...the majority of players don't record games and there is no leaderboard for solo and even if there was it is always hacked or glitches out...a long topic I may explore another day. Anyway glad you like my videos, I put a tonne of work in but love every minute of it! Cheers SJ
  18. Quick revive is a perk... Actually I'm going to a challenge soon that will involve not using perks (as well as another twist), I'll let you know how I go.
  19. You just doubled my [brains] ! hahaha Thanks
  20. Yes the game over screen is at the end. I edited this part using video cropping and zoom and used a TV-effect on it so it doesn't look exactly normal.
  21. Greetings Fellow Zombie Slayers. Hope you enjoy my latest video: Wccln8WYlFI Alternative link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wccln8WYlFI This was obviously done on World at War, the game took about five hours, I think the editing actually took longer than the game hahaha!
  22. Yeah I believe CJs vid is the highest round on YouTube for BO SNN (although not sure exactly what round he died on as I don't think he shows his death). MAKE SURE YOU HAVE PROOF eg stream it or record video including the death screen. I can only imagine what your old pal will say if you claim a WR without decent evidence SNN BO is a good choice as I believe it is the easiest black ops map.
  23. Hmmm...according to your sig you have played one game on SNN and your highest round on said map is...15. Perhaps you should consider getting some more experience before posting your tips for success
  24. *sigh* Treyarch told us before the map was even released, way back in June 2009 that the map was set in Japan. Why is this even being discussed as if it were a mystery lol! We need new Zombies maps to debate, the Zombies 'off season' is too long hahahaha
  25. Your post, lengthy as it is, basically boils down to the HK does more damage and has more ammo whereas the RPK has a higher rate of fire. I agree with this, although damage and ammo capacity are very similar but feel that the rate of fire means the damage done per second is more important than ammo capacity overall. The Thundergun comparision is entirely valid (but you can substitute it for the Scavenger if you have a problem with infinite damage, although technically due to range drop off the Thundergun does not have unlimited damage), as you are saying ammo capacity relates to long term usefulness. In actual fact the usefulness of any wonderweapon is so high that you could easily go to the trouble of respinning it in the box to get it back again if you upgrade and run out of ammo. Personally, in high rounds it becomes EXTREMELY important to have a strategy that is not only safe but time efficient, trust me if you have gone past round 100 you know exactly why this is important. Therefore a weapon that kills more zombies quicker (which the RPK does compared to the HK) is more useful, as is any weapon with a higher rate of fire if used for point building (and essentially in later rounds that is all you would use the RPK/KH for).
