Conquering dynamics of zombies
perfectlemonade replied to Mr. Jay's topic in General Zombies Discussion
Yeah, definitely decision making. You gotta know when to back off and when to go for broke. One could possibly put instincts and decision making in the same category, but really decision making will make or break you. It is, in my opinion, the fundamental, defining feature of Zombies. Sure, there are strategies, and in-game situations can merit split-second, instinctive reactions, and yes, you will not be getting very far without the right state of mind, but really, the only thing Zombies is is a huge collection of decisions it forces you to make. Do I revive? Do I zig instead of zag? Do I use traps or do I spin the box for the Thundergun? I could go on forever—in fact, I started writing a thread about the decisions of Zombies that never really materialized. But, alas, you get my point. Decision making trumps everything. -

Yeahhhhh sorry I misread your post. It is an endeavor to read some of your posts. That is not necessarily a bad thing—I really appreciate originality! And MMX, let him be. His posts always make me laugh, and I think that is exactly what this place needs! Keep doing your thing, bud! -

A random fact could work. Though I expect things to heat up again come Sunday. Once Blops 2 comes out, I could see this thread also becoming a hub for new strategies, tips, etc. Waddaya think? -

The bigger ones make mindnumbing amounts of money. RayWilliamJohnson has a 7-figure income. Syndicate probably makes at least $250,000 per year. At least. -
I'm not content with my record so,no. This is very much so going. Same here. 334 isn't good enough for me.

Well since you're going to single me out, I will respond. I was not being derogatory. I called you whiny and ungrateful, just because I was being frank, not critical. I explained my reasoning, and I even tried to soften the blow by prefacing it with "Honestly" and ending with the following summation sentences: "Don't be mad that your skills match theirs. Be proud." One should never refrain from speaking his mind. However, this is a Zombies forum. Your guys' perspective is going to be outnumbered. You have every right to disagree with the majority opinion, just as much as I have the right to disagree with you. As for my choice of words, I call it as I see it; that's how I've always operated. I don't feel you're a bad person, or one to be disrespected. I don't feel you deserve insults. There's a difference between "You are ungrateful" and "You are being ungrateful". I felt Treyarch needed support; they've worked hard at this game. All I thought is all I said. With all due respect, I do not think Treyarch gives a flying fladoodle what one, or even a number of guys, on Codz think about their game. They know where the want to go with it. Do they take our suggestions and feeback and opinions into mind? Of course they do. We are the consumer. We are the reason they are making the game. To get our money and, therefore, to keep us happy. But will they not be able to sleep at night because a couple people on the internet don't like the direction they're taking the game? Doubtful. Highly, highly doubtful. I understand that you speak your mind. I understand that you are just being who you are. But your words have obviously left an impact on Mr. Nut over here. No matter how you spin it, using the word 'ungrateful' to describe someone or their actions is not a positive experience for the person being described and they will remember you for it. Just wanted to throw that out there. -perfect

Couldn't resist. But yeah, I think maybe this could have something to do with the song? Or the Tombstone? I dunno!

Kino der toten round 188 world record!
perfectlemonade replied to Hoardkillrepeat's topic in Kino Der Toten
At round 166 (I think it's 166. Could be a little bit higher) zombies' health resets to that of round one every other round. I don't know why it does this, but that's why he can kill a zombie with a Bowie Knife at round 188. :) -
So what we waiting for now?
perfectlemonade replied to Reddonkeyham's topic in General Zombies Discussion
Whaaaaaaaat. Dude. An afterthought? Zombies an afterthought? You mean the same Zombies that went from an unlockable bonus in World at War to having so much jampacked into it (Grief, open-world campaign, adjustable settings, theater mode, and, of course, survival) that it could easily be its own standalone game? That Zombies? -

The Perfect-Eye Strategy: 300 Kills Made Easy
perfectlemonade replied to perfectlemonade's topic in No Mans Land (NML)
I think the game is programmed to give you slower spawns when on the telepad. I rarely get slow spawns when downstairs, but once I go up there... the spawns start becoming really inconsistent. You've just gotta be sure to not waste a single second in your starts. Be as efficient and quick as you can. Don't wait too long for the perfect shot. You are only 15 kills off. You're very close. I went from 285 to 309, if my memory serves me correctly. Almost there! :D -
Thanks man. Means a lot coming from a player such as yourself. I'm sure if push comes to shove, we can get a dweller in here to update the OP.

Just about impossible. Absolutely zero room to work with back there. Maybe Steve could do it, but I sure couldn't...

Shi No Numa is probably the worst map for a 100. It is painfully, painfully slow. I'd go with Kino. Insta-Trap is the fastest strategy in this game, and it's pretty safe as well. You will also not be needing to recycle midround. I wish Insta Trap was around for my 100... Would've made everything a lot easier haha
-
Yeah... it's been tough to get going. Super was supposed to help me out big time with it but since he's no longer here... I'm not saying it's not gonna happen, but I'm not saying it will 100% happen as well. Maybe I'll wait until Black Ops 2 wraps up...

Hey guys! So I was bored last night and I decided to give Kino No Doors a try. About ninety minutes later, I was sitting pretty at 21 rounds! As you can see in the video, the death was... stupid. It was totally my fault and a bad way to end but, alas, I'll still take it. 21 is solid. So I don't have a huge guide for you guys today as there's not really much to talk about. This 'guide' will be little more than a series of tips and tricks I'll try my best to make it as easy as possible for anyone looking to try this though. It's a ton of fun and you'll have some great moments. So let's begin! Tip Two: Keep Your Pistol! Since you need all the running speed you can get, it goes as a given to keep your M1911 as out of the three weapons available in the spawn room (M14, Olympia, M1911) your pistol has the highest running speed. You do not need the extra firepower of the Olympia; the M14, albeit very slow in the later rounds, will get the job done. Tip Four: The Scoreboard Is Your Best Friend! Because you will only want to kill off a couple zombies at a time to avoid having to kite an entire group all over again, which is extremely dangerous stuff, you'll want to pull up your scoreboard before you empty a clip or two of your M14 into your horde. You're aiming to kill about 2-3 zombies with every spray. Do another lap, let the zombies fall into line, and repeat. Tip Six: Recovering From a Down Since you have no Jug, it is unavoidable that you'll go down on some bullshit and you'll be in a bad situation. Well, since all of the zombies will have likely been spawned in by then, you'll really only need to do a couple cutbacks and viola! you've got a full 24 behind you. Finish out the round and buy back Revive as the rounds are changing. Simple as that. [tab][/tab]Conclusion This challenge was so intense and so much fun! The middle rounds (5-15) are definitely the hardest. Past that, the spawns start to get a little faster and you can gather up a horde easier. It's 99% spamming the M14 and 1% Jugless training but damn, is that 1% incredible! Okay guys I think that's about it. PEACE. -perfect
-
It's kind of simple, really. It's 2v2 in a four player game. Last team without a down wins. You can't actually hurt the other team, but you can throw monkeys in their direction, run through their kiting area, shoot them with an Awful Lawton, etc. :)
