They're basically trying to implement video games mechanics into more 'useful' to create extremely detailed, three dimensional visual worlds of the universe. Like the video chat thing in Star Wars. You bring up extremely good points, Liam. I'm going to email Howard just to inquire about what his project is about, and why he decides to just activate it again at such a random time. Not even going to mention CoD. I must ponder this further. The project was long dead. Then it just appears again, brimming with life and prosperity. I do think that, somehow, someway, this Tacitus thing is related to the new game.

Even at age 2, Mason would tear those Nazi scumbags to shreds with his Thommy! Yeah! ;)

Howard Coale is a real person though, this is his company that has been around for a very long time, this is him: http://www.linkedin.com/in/coale he's just a business man, I don't think he's related. I've seen it, brother. I get that this guy may just be a failed innovator that tried to do something magnificent and didn't succeed, whose dreams were revitalized by this miracle viral. This may have saved his career. Shoot, I'm sure Mr. Coale himself plays his fair share of video games. But here is something I found: Tacitus is licensed under Howard Coale, while Coale himself is currently employed to Sapient according to his LinkedIn page. Guess what company is Activision's digital marketing agency? Sapient. Moreover, Sapient actually helped Activision advertise and launch Modern Warfare 3. http://www.adweek.com/news/advertising- ... hip-133455 I am beginning to see a connection here.

Official CallOFDuty.com BO2 Viral thread - UPDATE 7
perfectlemonade replied to Strwrsbob's topic in General Discussion
Could Coale have come up with a site that complex in just a day? The logo? I don't know much about building websites, but you would think it would take time. Then again, that entire page is just an image. So I'm not sure. -
Discovery comes from play.... Someone needs to do a quick check of the WaW and Black Ops maps, both Zombies and multiplayer. Something is going on. Looking for anagrams of 'Howard Coale' right now. An anagram of Tacitus is Tac Suit. When I think 'tac suit', I think poisonous gas, and when I think poisonous gas, I think Nova 6.

Official CallOFDuty.com BO2 Viral thread - UPDATE 7
perfectlemonade replied to Strwrsbob's topic in General Discussion
Does anyone know what the little knotted image could represent? I'm starting to develop some ideas about this... -
Beat me to it. Was just about to send him an email asking him what his project was about or if he knows about viral marketing, but you've already got it covered. :p

I don't really see what this could have to do with zombies accept the Nazi part... The concept of Vril energy was introduced with the VR-11 and went berserk with Shangri La. Shangri La itself is an ancient Vril Ya temple, or something like that. Both the VR-11 and JGB run on Vril energy. Alphasnake blew the entire thing open with his thread. You know the pyramid thing on Moon? That's Vril. :D

Callofduty website, possible near future zombie reveal?
perfectlemonade replied to infante97's topic in Single Player
Anyone who thinks that Zombies will not be in Blops 2 is sadly mistaken. Zombies has gotten so big that it will be hard to match sales of previous 3arc Call of Duty's. I sold MW3 a couple days ago and I am not buying another game without Zombies. I have decided that is the only thing that appeals to me in CoD these days, and I'm sure a lot of people would agree with me. Now, onto Zombies, I believe something will appear, but it is going to take a lot of digging around and such to figure it out. It will be there, but we must find it first. Take FPSRussia's shirt. Someone came up with a brilliant idea, connected the dots, and figured out that Tacitus has something to do with Agartha and the Vril-Ya. This will be our reveal of Zombies, not a fullblown trailer. -
Instead of Rick Rolling your friends, hide the CoD link so they go to that page instead. It will only be funny for you though...

Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 Posters [UPDATE 5]
perfectlemonade replied to LiamFTWinter's topic in Single Player
I have a feeling November 13th will be the greatest day in Codz history. The eclipse has always been a huge part of Zombies. If this is true, and if Waffles is right, Call of Duty: Eclipse's very title may be Zombies related rather than campaign/storyline related. This very concept is, well, monumental. Oh, also, I googled 'Operation Eclipse' and came up with this: "ECLIPSE - unimplemented 1944 plan for post-war operations in Europe that would destroy V-1 and V-2 missiles found by the Air Disarmament Wing" http://www.bibliotecapleyades.net/socio ... clip01.htm Perhaps the V-2's that destroyed the Earth were supposed to have been destroyed in the ECLIPSE project? Just a thought. There's not much info on ECLIPSE, so it probably has nothing to do with the next CoD, but hey, you never know. -

Impressive. You're an incredible user, Mix. I'm going to have myself a good, long read of some of these theories later tonight. They look really awesome. Great stuff, Mix! Happy 1000th post! -

Wow! Why am I just coming across this thread now? I wish I would've seen this a while back. It would've made those beginner days SO MUCH FASTER. I'm planning on prestige-ing later this weekend! This'll definitely come in handy for those early stages when I haven't unlocked all the fun stuff yet. ;) -
Survey about difficulty of zombies
perfectlemonade replied to Matuzz's topic in General Zombies Discussion
Definitely not too difficult. Zombies has a way of lulling you into this half sleep sort of state, even in co op, when suddenly something happens (teammate goes down, wunder weapon fires a blank, etc) and BAM, your heart is racing and you're scrambling for dear life. But I do like what 3arc introduced with NML. It sets up for another dimension of Zombies completely in the next game. We just have to wait and see... :D -
No Man's Land Frustration and Support Group
perfectlemonade replied to perfectlemonade's topic in No Mans Land (NML)
Great info and tips, Tom. Though I didn't get any impressive scores today, I did have a 213 game with 6/6/28 left in the clip running in the back pond. Oh, what could've been... Anyways, once I've gotten warmed up (takes me about 15 minutes to get my feet on the ground, so to speak) I usually PaP in 85-100 seconds most every time with Jug. I am still trying to master Super's Hybrid Strategy though... The only problem I have is just getting trapped. Sometimes the zombies go one way when I think they're going the other way. Oh well. It'll get better in time. My high is now 255. I'm now looking to expand my horizons away from the telepad for a faster route. Now it's only a matter of getting better with my kiting, M&S placement, and learning to predict dogs' movements quicker. -
Of course, kind sir! Had some writer's block as of late, but I'm trying to finish. I just keep thinking back to when I had it all done, and then my computer crashing. Disheartening. That's the only word I can describe my situation with. And thank you sooo much sizmatics! I really appreciate it. :3

340 is adequate I think; it puts those who reach it near the top of the world (top 10 I believe, for the respective consoles). It gives everyone a goal to reach, and it becomes one of the site's biggest honors to receive such a medal for undoubtedly, one of the hardest challenges to date in the world of zombies. I dunno man. 340 is... crazy. Superhands is the only one that's gotten within 10 kills of 340 on the site. It's something to shoot for, but... it's just ridiculous. I think 330 is definitely better. Still world class, no doubt, a 330 would get me on the first page of an (unhacked) Xbox leaderboard. But it's not as freaking crazy. Love the medals, btw. I was confused at first, but now that I can visualize them, they seem pretty legit.

Chernobyl would be an incredible map. Though it's already been used in previous CoD games, a lot of the world has a fascination with Chernobyl. I'd like to see a use of a radiation suit that allows you to go in some places you can't go in otherwise. Also, it would be pretty cool if there was a new boss zombie that leaked (having trouble finding a better word. Been a long day and my brain is roasted) radiation, so you couldn't get too close to it. :D

Well, no one is forcing you to be a dweller.

Shangri-la most efficient high round solo strategy.
perfectlemonade replied to selectyeti89's topic in Shangri-La
At what round does this start being effective? It seems like anything before 30 would result in the spawns being too slow. Also, what perks do you recommend? Is Stamin Up a must, or could you opt for something else like Speed or Mule Kick? Thanks! Really smart strategy that's reminiscent of VirtualVenom's Nacht strat. I dig. [brains] -
