Yeah, with the zero-g and excavators and lack of crossbow (getting back from the excavators would be a walk in the park with PaP'd crossbow and mule kick) the Wave Gun was a pretty vital addition. I was honestly expecting the Thundergun to make an appearance as well, but that was before I knew how great the Wavegun was. You could probably go on forever and ever with a Thundergun, Wavegun, and pap'd crossbow with gersches. Like... seriously forever. Anyways, yeah, the Wavegun isn't overpowered. I mean, it's Zombies, you're not pissing anyone off.

We've already go that. It's called Pack a Punch.

First treyarch post in the Treyarch section
perfectlemonade replied to Saleenseven's topic in Treyarch
I also want a map capable of supporting more that 4 players. I actually gave up a spot playing with some of my friends a few weeks ago cause I was in a generous mood. They got to 48. DAMN. -
I actually really like Call of the Dead now...
perfectlemonade replied to Superhands's topic in Call Of The Dead
By the time you get past 40, you have to get a new Scavenger every round or two. I really wish this map had either traps or a power weapon that gave you drops. This map was made so that you do the easter egg, kill George with the vr11 and get the wunderwaffe. I actually died on 39 (my high round. It's no 68, but I was proud of it nonetheless) yesterday because I got cornered with only a few scavenger shots left and only had about 25k points so I didn't want to piss it away into the ground. But, whatever. I think I'll do the easter egg tomorrow night so I can get the wunderwaffe every time I kill george with the vr11. Then I'll probably go with the scavenger or mustang and sally. But yeah, at first I found that I sucked at this map, but I think I'm really becoming a pretty solid zombies player, so all these maps that I used to hate because they were too difficult (Five and Call of the Dead) I'm starting to really enjoy because they give me a challenge. :D -
Highest Round on Call Of The Dead?
perfectlemonade replied to carbonfibah's topic in Call Of The Dead
Just got to 39. Second time this week I've gone for 40 on a map and failed on the last round. I fucked it up for Shangri La on my epic journey to 50 as well. SERIOUSLY WHAT THE FUCK IS THE PROBLEM WITH ME AND LEVELS THAT END IN NINE? But, whatever. I'm gonna try for forty on every map though. Shangri La was pretty easy. The Scavenger is trash past round 35, and I traded out my mustang and sally for the 74u because I was scared I was going to run out of scavenger ammo and not have enough points to rape the box until I got it back. But hopefully I'll get enough patience to do the easter egg for Call of the Dead tomorrow so I can get the wunderwaffe every time I kill George. Anyways, I think the only map that would be really hard to get to 40 on would be Five. I hear the Winter's Howl is terrible past 35 (not unlike the Scavenger) but I'll see what I can do. **sigh* -
I think that just some of them are named after 3arc members. I got one with Zielinski once.

So... I was looking through my hard drive for reasons I will not state (it DEFINITELY wasn't copying First Strike over to a flash drive) and I saw that there was a file named Retaliation [EN]. I'm not much of a filename guy, and maybe I'm lost or something on this, but I'm pretty sure there wasn't a Retaliation map pack. Does anyone know what this is? Oh yeah, and I posted this in Moon because the old name of the map pack was supposed to be Retaliation, right???? IM SO CONFUSED/

I got PinkUnicorn before. I shit you not.

Just died on 39. Pretty good for a guy whose former high on Moon is 21. But I downed for the first time because I was trying to hack a Death Machine. They were right behind me. And they weren't even making any sounds!!!!! But yeah, I teleported to area 51 to get jug, but it was speed cola. So I finish out a round and a half without jug and finally teleport back, get jug, but in the lab I get swarmed by nova guys and die. I hate that one doorway at the top of the Bowie Knife stairs. GOD! I HATE ZOMBIES. No, just kidding. Zombies is a drug. You hate yourself for doing it for so long, but you just can't stop.

I definitely think Aether will be a map in the future. I think we're gonna have some alternative ones first, like Five or Call of the Dead. I think an arena one could be pretty badass, and you play as the members of a band or something. I think John Frusciante and Flea could be pretty beast zombie slayers, if you ask me. Oh my God, just thinking about playing as Red Hot Chili Peppers gives me a slight boner. XD

Did anyone ask the Zombie panel about this at CODXP? I mean, what do you think is more likely: An American base that happens to actually read Hangar 18, thus stating that it is located in Area 51, ON EARTH, but actually it's not on Earth, it's actually all not real because of the sky OR Treyarch just missed it/didn't want to create an entirely new sky and backdrop for a place that you will be spending 1/20th of your time in. I'm sorry if that came out a bit harsh, but if there is one thing that the Zombie community does better than anyone else, it's making something out of nothing. People have a right to be curious and stuff, but I think there's a point when it just becomes... silly.

You can fit in three players in the Biodome with relative ease. One guy running around one rock, another on the other rock, then someone else up and down that hallway. For a fourth guy, he can take the Mule Kick area. Usually the astronaut won't spawn there, so it's easy mode there. And don't let the hallway in the Biodome intimidate you. It may look kinda tight, but the end leading to Flopper is amazing for doubling back on. That's actually the strategy I run in solo, and it's far and away the easiest route I've ever run on zombies. It's way, way easier than Ascension. But yeah, that's what I usually do. Also, if you keep the door leading directly to Mule Kick closed, it's pretty good for camping in the early to mid rounds. On round 25 you want to start spreading out though. :)

Since you teleport from Area 51 to Moon, I'm pretty sure it's safe to assume that's how they got there. I mean, you're physically doing the act of travelling from Earth to the moon.
-
That's why you have gersches! You kill so many with the wave gun past round 30 that you'll almost always get a drop with gersches. Seriously, it feels like every single Gersch device gives you a drop at high rounds. It's so easy that you can get past an entire round without firing a single bullet. 6DztMmf8TCc It does get a bit more tricky in the really, really high rounds, and you'll probably have to **gasp** actually fire your guns, but it can still be done pretty easily.
-
I say hold down the biodome for as long as you can, teleporting to area 51, hacking the excavator then throwing a gersch to get you back when you're done with hacker on at all times. You don't even need mule kick with hacker. You basically already have three guns anyways if you have the zapguns. Unlimited max ammos.
-
The problem with the mule kick area is the astronaut. He can basically eliminate 1/2 of your train area by him being there. You have to kill him right away. Which I hate doing. But Biodome is so huge and open that you can not see him for an entire round.
-
They only put in the QED to give you an easy way to kill the astronaut (when it does that thundergun thing, it will die every time). But you can deal with the astronauts pretty easily without killing them. But yeah, gersches are far better. Especially in later rounds. I always throw one in the spawn after disabling the excavator(s) to at least give you a pretty big head start and jump through it to at least give you a head start when running back. Normally it will spit you back out by Mule Kick or Biodome, which is really AWESOME. But yeah, really the only reasons I can see a seasoned player having the QEDs if it's early and they're looking for an easy way to get a good gun and some points or they believe in killing the astronaut as soon as possible.
-
Eh, I think it's pretty dang close. Moon may be a tiiiiiny bit bigger. But I hate how this map is so linear. There's only one way to get to the Biodome. There's no alternative path (well, technically, there is but it spits you back at the same place). That's why I loved Shangri La. It was basically a giant ring. But, I digress. Call of the Dead is obviously the biggest map, but I think it's a threeway tie between Shi No Numa, Ascension, and Moon.

Dammit, now I want to try dolphin diving off some stairs. THANKS A LOT.

zomg, I'm on round 35 right now! Gonna call it a night though. The last round I played was sloppy as hell. Surprised I didn't go down, to be honest. But yeah, this is so easy. The spaceman doesn't need to be an issue. If you run trains in the biodome and, more specifically, in the hallway, sometimes flaking out towards the rock, he'll get caught up in that pathway that you can't go into. He always goes the path that's the shortest way possible. So there's this imaginary line that you can kind of dictate to make it go your way. And, as for the excavators, I think that your actions can reflect where they go. I got the one for biodome on round 7, I believe. You have to take care of it ASAP. The sooner you get it, the longer it stays away. I got it before she even gave me my second warning. It didn't come back until round 33. But the tunnels six and eleven have gotten hit at least five times each. But, maybe I'm just extremely lucky.

He just racks up some points at Area 51, gets juggernog, and teleports, and just shows us like his early strategy. Then he's just running in the BioDome with the PaP WaveGun. It's actually kind of easy, except 70 must be a B!tch on your ammo lol. If he's keeping the Biodome from being excavated, he could just hack power ups when needed for the max ammo. Especially if he has Gerschs in his arsenal. Although I don't think zombies drop power ups if you kill them with the Wave Gun (just like the Thundergun), so I can see some problems with that strategy. That's why you have Gersches lol.

DUDE. I LOVE YOU.
-
You can actually get three trains in the biodome. And you don't even have to be that careful. Two guys run around the rocks and one in that long, wide hallway leading to the teleporter. Then, for four people, the last guy (and the guy with least amount of skill) can take Mule Kick. Easy peasy lemon squeezy.

What is your highest round on Shangri-La?
perfectlemonade replied to carbonfibah's topic in Shangri-La
49. Died on either the last or second to last wave on my road to round 50. I cried. I legitimately cried.
