I gotta feeling that we won't find many new things on the revamped WaW maps. I mean, we might, and who knows maybe they even added PaP and stuff to them, but I don't see the old maps giving us many new things. Either way though, I'm psyched because I haven't been able to play the old maps much...

That is pretty amazing, and I think that's literally the coolest way to end Black Ops Zombies (I mean, they've always been on the defensive. To go to the FREAKING Moon to kill off the last of the Zombies would be the best way to go.) But... I think it's more about how Richtofen wants to rule the world, and he needs to go to the moon to get the last part of his weapon (he said everything was going to plan after he gets the focusing stone in Shangri La) Either way, I think this map will easily be the best one to date. You're going to have a clear defined objective instead of just trying to get to round 50 or whatever.

I doubt it would be an all-zombies game, that would alienate half of their buyers, BUT, if this new map pack does well, I wouldn't be shocked to see much more focus on Zombies in 2012. More maps, and probably customizable characters and stuff. With Rezurection, 3arc has finally admitted that Zombies is one of the best, if not the best moneymakers they have, and they were willing to give up an entire multiplayer map pack just for the Zombie fans. They know how important Zombies is, and I think they have no choice but to go forward with it and start devoting a lot more effort towards it as well. :)

I think you will get astronaut zombies as a special round, but maybe they might just have a George Romero type thing with Richtofen. Maybe the 4th character could be the guy we shot up in Ascension?

The Shangri La trailer came out a week in advance. Ugh. They announced this too early. At least this will make me stop dreading the start of school too much, as I will have something to look forward to. :)

If that is true, I see it having unlimited ammo like the flamethrower or laser colt from those zombiechickentaco maps EDIT: Ooh! And it looks like there may be a solar panel on top of the gun! Maybe that really could be the case! If so... yessssssssssssssssss
-
or a waste of ammo, just use semtex to kill the babys. and I think they should put the winters howl, scavenger and whatever other wonder weapon in one map because the winters howl isnt very good, and then every one but one person could have a decent wonder weapon while one person has the always insta-kill wonder weapon. I just think it would be more fun with four people this way. But if it were a wall gun...

I'd say that would possibly be a bit too easy. It would either have to be very, very expensive (I'm talking 25k-50k) or you would need to complete an easter egg or something to unlock this room. Or both. But, I've always wanted to use the babymaker and scavenger together! That would be amazing!!!

Uh... no. Yoteslaya, probably the best Zombie player in the world, has been cornered many a time. You know what he used to get out of it? Thundergun or wunderwaffle. I've done it before and so have you. I just think that if the babymaker (I'm callin it that. Sue me) and thundergun are on the same map, I'd take the babymaker. Besides, you've always got mustang and sally.

Why? The shrink ray has been one of the top 3 best guns in Zombies so far.

Map Pack 4 "Resurrection" Confirmed + pictures and intel
perfectlemonade replied to X HOLLYWOOD18's topic in Moon
I cant decide whether to cry because Zombies will officially be coming to an end (or so they say) or I will finally be able to play the WaW maps in all their glory, along with this map that will have so many new things. I have a feeling they will also be bringing back some old weapons (I'm talking to you, Wunderwaffle) -
Even on Solo...?

So... I was playing last night and I probably spent 100 grand on the mystery box, trying to get the baby gun. 2 tries before I finally got it, I got a ray gun and a weird sound came from the box (kinda like the teleport sound). 2 boxes later, I got the babygun. I also realized that I hadn't seen the babygun in the little roulette thing before it. So, I'm thinking that you have to get a raygun first before you can get a babygun. Btw, I've only had the map pack for a week because I've been out of town for most of July, so maybe this only happens when starting up...

When it comes down to it, the Thundergun is the best "Oh sh!t!" weapon in Zombies, but the jgb has enough ammo that you can get through even the really high rounds without getting screwed. Personally, I'd rather have the jgb, because usually it's not getting cornered that downs me, but I can see why other players would rather have the Thundergun/Wunderwaffe.

I don't get why people are saying Zombies is going to be over. I mean, I don't know the exact figures, but the money that Activision must make from Zombies is ridiculous. It must give their map packs a 50% sales increase, at least. They may be dumb at some things, but one thing they know how to do is make money, and this is one of the biggest money makers they have. Zombies will hang around until we get bored and move on. I don't see this happening for a looooong time though...

Thanks! I don't have a capture card or anything, so would a simple picture of the TV showing my round work? :p

Oh sweet, the usergroups sound really cool! :D

So, I definitely have a Zombies addiction, but whatever. I had just finished a night of Zombies and had a dream for a map. It would be based in an Israeli Temple complex, surrounded by a desert. The map would be larger than COTD, so there are actually two perk machines for the same perk (like, two juggernogs, two quick revives, etc) and the main kiting area would be a big sanctuary in the main temple with multiple areas to enter and exit. However, sandstorms will come in (they are controlled by sand zombies, I'll get to those later) and block a few or all exits, forcing you to try and survive in the relatively tight area until you kill the sand zombie. Now, the sand zombie would be very strong, not unlike George, and killing it would not only stop the sandstorm but also end the round and begin the next one (I could see this being very valuable in the higher rounds). Well, that's all I've got. I'm new and this idea is just from a dream and very raw. Thanks for reading!

Oh yeah, and the satisfaction of punting baby zombies means nothing? That puts it as #1 on my list :p

What is your highest round on Shangri-La?
perfectlemonade replied to carbonfibah's topic in Shangri-La
Round 45, last night in a hotel room. I did kill myself, but I lost steam after a legitimate down, not gonna make excuses or anything. I just got hit one too many times on that hallway from the MPL area into the AK74u room. Hopefully, I'm going to take a day off next week and set aside the entire day to make it to round 50, or even 70 (it would be awesome to beat Yoteslaya's record, even though he did die on a script error, cuz he's my zombie hero haha) -
Well, I'm not sure how to introduce myself, so I'll just say hey, I'm perfectlemonade (that's my gamertag as well) and I'm kinda in love with Zombies. What can I say? I've only been playing Zombies seriously for about 2 months ever since I started watching murkadurkah on Youtube, but my high round is 45, so I like to think I'm getting pretty good. Anyways, thanks for reading and see ya around.

The only gun that even comes close to it is the Thundergun. It's more devastating than the babymaker, but the babymaker has twice as much ammo.
