Wow that's really neat. Excited for the step by step video. I wonder if the purple trip mines and now this purple Lil' Arnie can interact in some way?
-
Completely agree. Took me about a week until I'd stop getting red bar connection games, then when that started getting better I couldn't be match made with players who knew what they were doing. Like you said, even if a game ended up being a legit one, I'm sure someone would leave anyways.

The most important feature which should be included.
BEYOND replied to NFSPLAYER's topic in General Discussion
I'd love to see a re-join feature. If you lose connection to a game, you can join the match again right from the menu. If it's possible on a technical side you'll get all your weapons/perks etc back too. Although you become void of leaderboard rankings of course. I was really hoping this feature would exist in BOII since Zombies was made under the multiplayer engine. -
Mind if I ask where you heard this from?

Found this online, sorry if the image is too big. Looks just like good ol' Jugger-Nog.

I hope some hints in the BO3 maps will lead us towards them. It seems so unlikely at this point they'll be found

Origins EE "Little Lost Girl" Written Steps + Staffs
BEYOND replied to Ehjookayted's topic in Origins
Hoping to attempt this soon. Didn't want to make a separate topic, but how many Zombies does it take to fill a chest? -
I am the same. Everytime someone downs I just need to ignore what I am doing (unless I know for sure someone else can get them up) and revive them. Half of my downs are from leaving a place I am confident in to go revive. It ends up getting me down too. I have no self control about it, I really do need to learn to realize when it's too dangerous. I just fear them leaving if I ignore them and they inevitably die out.

I had a random today attempt to 'steal' the staff I worked to get (and wanted). The very next game I played, I received hate mail (for doing nothing wrong. I guess he was just looking for someone to blame). Oh, how I love some of the people in the CoD community. Birdman22 is definitely right. After a week, a significantly increased amount of the player pool have a better understanding of the map. Zombies matchmaking only searches for other players with the best connection, right? I wonder if it was like Multplayer where it searches for the best connection AND players within your skill level. 'Rank playlists' would be interesting. Each rank has its own playlist. If you're only a crossbones, you can only join/search in the crossbones playlist. Likewise for other ranks. That would be interesting to see.

"I am haunted by twisted dreams that seem to grow increasingly vivd with each passing night." - Takeo (From Treyarch's Facebook)

I hope so. Getting real sick of the 4 player requirement.

Love the fact there will be new perks, weapons and DROPS all within this location and time setting. It's all so exciting. I wonder if the tank acts as the bus in TranZit? Is it something you can activate with points or is it the only (or faster) way to navigate on a large scale throughout the map? It certainly looks like a lot of fun to be on. The Zombie in heavy armor looks badass. He'll probably end up being a huge pain, but I think he'll be interesting to fight. It's going to be really interesting to see how to O4 were like before they became who we have all known them to be. Whoever is in charge of writing the dialogue must thrilled this is an origin story with characters that have an entirely different personality. I assume they'll make a ton of great foreshadowing jokes!

That would be a fantastic idea. I do really hope they someday include a high quality hardcover book of all the loading screens. That would be amazing.
-
Contrary to Mustang & Sally, I hope the PaP name for the Mauser is "Samantha & Ludvig".
-
I assume they just ended up changing the art. Treyarch puts themselves in a bit of a predicament by commiting to the comic book ripped page tradition. They need to have the future loading screens ready to go way ahead of time. Over the course of this, ideas will change.
-
Also concerned. I'll be saddened if Buried is the conclusion to the present story. While I love the idea of where DLC4 might be set, I do wish we get a proper ending to the N4.

Hmm. Edited this. Still new to the formatting here. Made the images too large, so I'll just post the links: http://imgur.com/BE45mBW http://imgur.com/Ja54XRz http://imgur.com/p5JmUxn Another edit: Looks like user MrRoflWaffles stitched them together: http://i.imgur.com/OgkO9aw.png

Eeeeeeek! Whatever this truly means, it's sure as hell will be exciting. There is no way they would show the old maps without making it seem like you're going back to them in some way. That would just be annoyingly deceiving. Even for trailer purposes. The Giant Metal Man clip, what a great tease I wonder what role he will play?

Very interesting. A few people were trying to put it together on another site. Doesn't actually go together that well. Can't wait to hear what this all means!

Favourite layout? Call of the Dead. That map just flows together so well. The traversal features (ice slide, bouncer and the ziplines) were really fun to use. I've seen people get cross map revives using them. The accessible lighthouse was fun to kill Zombies in and running around the ship was always pretty intense. Favourite starting room? Moon. Area 51, on a mythological level, was really sweet to be in. Being in a spawn area with PaP, Jug/Speed Cola and a teleporter was a great surprise. I have to say though, I loved being split up in Verruckt. Forcing a heightened level of teammwork on each pair of players made the first few rounds on that slightly different than usual. I hope the idea is expanded upon in the future. Favourite map with the best wall weapons? Die Rise. AN94, PDW and the SVU are unbelievably great weapons. You can just grab an AN94 early on and that's it. You'll be set for a significant amount of rounds. Favourite map with the best Wonder Weapon(s)? Moon. The Wave Gun, QED and the Gersch Device are always welcome in my book Favourite way to access the Pack-a-Punch? Kino Der Toten. Very simple, very cool. Being up top, completely safe and then possibly getting a power up in a random room (based on the lore) was a neat idea. Favourite map with the best traps? Mob of the Dead. I absolutely love the sniper trap. Upgrading it to the rocket trap was just the coolest thing ever. Favourite map with the best special enemy(enemies)? Shangri-La. My sig gives it away. The naplam boss had such a presence. He has that bad-ass thing going on. The stare and slow walking speed. Plus, free fire trap when you kill him! The shrieker was.....different. Admittedly a huge annoyance, I thought he was still an interesting Zombie. I liked his appearance.

I wouldn't be surprised if the campaign team were infact working on MotD. In the pre-release trailers, the people talking for the interviews were from the campaign side of things, not Jimmy/Reza/Vahn. Rare mentions of the map from Jimmy/Reza on Twitter/Press interviews. Rumors that turned out to be mostly correct also mentions how MotD was definitely made by the campaign team. Apparently Activision wanted these map packs out sooner and the Zombies team needed more time. They told them what to do for the story and then went back to DLC3/4 development. I swear I remember reading an interview with someone at Treyarch and he blatantly said it was definitely made by the campaign team. I can't seem to find it now though. Not pointing fingers though. You can't deny it's a little suspicious though.

AK74u. I started playing Zombies in Black Ops 1. It was the first gun I ever PaP'd. I barley knew anything about Zombies. I never tracked it in WaW. I was a total newbie. My friend who was experienced with WaW Zombies, while still new at BO1 Zombies like me, was guiding me through everything that remained the same, like drops, the box, perks and of course - wall weapons. I picked up the AK74u. I am pretty sure I asked him what the "Upgraded Ammo" option meant meant. He told me it was for the upgraded version of the gun. It was then my top priority to do that immediately haha. It was an awesome feeling PaP'ing it, getting the surprise of the camo, power, sight and laser beam-esque sounds. Total thrill. "Oh my god, this gun is like totally different, it shoots like laser beams! Oh my god it's so powerful! Let's go back, I want to get more guns and Pack a Punch them oh my god this mode is so awesome! We are totally going to be playing this all night! It was what set off my love for Zombies! I don't just like it for nostalgia's sake though, it really is a great weapon. (I actually made it so I that when I first used the PaP in TranZit, it was the AK74u )

Custom Games don't count on leaderboards
BEYOND replied to Ourobos's topic in General Zombies Discussion
Try setting your search preferences to "best". It will decrease your chances of finding someone fast, giving you and your two other friends time to ready up sooner and have a game without a forth. -
Just a tip for those trying this with two players - don't forget about mic lag. I have a feeling people don't take this into account when they do a countdown for the EMP throw. The counter this, just countdown normally on three. Tell your friend to throw it when they hear "two" but you yourself throw it on "one". Simple counter. Just a little heads-up!
