  1. This theory has been going about since Mob Of The Dead was announced, it's nothing new.
  2. Apologies for not having any video footage to back this up. I did, however, record it within Theater Mode. So. I was in a random game on Cell Block yesterday. Everything played out as it should. We get to Round 7 and there's a Fire Sale. Since the Warden's Office was right next to me I hit the box there. The box spun and landed on the MTAR. As soon as I picked it up, BAM! It hit me like a cat looking at popcorn. Literally, the INSTANT I grabbed it. This puzzled me. I don't know the significance of the jump scare in Mob of the Dead, never mind what it's doing in Grief mode! Has anyone else experienced this either in that exact place or at any other time in a match?
  3. The spawn rates have been increased for all the maps. Remember how Zombies is on the multiplayer engine, allowing for twice the amount of zombies in the map at once and larger areas for them to spawn.
  4. The Maxis Diary says that if you want to continue unravelling the story in each map, you have to do it on Original. That's what I've done to complete the Side Quests in Green Run and Die Rise.
  5. We might have to change the date here. I just noticed something at around 25 seconds of the new trailer. The newspaper headline about Salvatore DeLuca was printed on June 13th, 1932.
  6. The English text has been put up, and it reminisces what we saw when the coding for the DLC was found.
  7. Anyone else trying to figure out how the Wiki managed to get an exact date of February 26th 1932? I'm 99.9% sure it's wrong but there's the tiniest part of me that denies that.
  8. Need I say more? Also, it seems we won't be receiving a new weapon or any other fancy things Treyarch want to throw in. And here's our survivors: Ray Liotta, Chazz Palminteri, Joe Pantoliano and Michael Madsen!
  9. If you don't mind me coming back to this idea, I like how you think Richtofen can still hear the voices in his head. I had thought if he was in control, that would have got rid of them but maybe I was wrong. So perhaps if Samuel and the crew complete Richtofen's tasks, his voices will go away and he might leave Sammy alone too! However, one thing that's sticking to the back of my mind could be interesting. What if at some point in the story, Samuel decides not to do a task he was set? Would Richtofen tell the crew about "The Flesh"? And what impact would that have on the rest of the story? Ohhhh, the controversy.
  10. Found the problem: two of us accidentally picked up the orbs from the lion's paws BEFORE shooting them. Oops.
  11. The Trample Steams have not been placed down in the appropriate spots, and my teammate has shot dead on the ball, nowhere else. We've decided to give up for now but it feels like a lot of time wasted.
  12. I've managed to reach the step where you use the Sliquifier to spin the balls under the lions' paws. However, my friend had fired 50 (yes, FIFTY) shots into ONE ball and nothing has happened. I will admit, I'm playing it with 5 other people so it's a 6 man game. Is that what's stopping it or have I missed a step?
  13. This is probably something best kept to yourself.
  14. I honestly thought from the world map it was in Taiwan. Great find as usual!
  15. Very nice breakdown. I'm surprised you managed it in a short time!
  16. Going by that information, the switch from Green Run to Die Rise sounds similar to that of Call of the Dead to Shangri-La. Remember in the Annihilation Preview trailer, Jimmy mentioned how Shangri-La was a sort of contrast to COTD, how it was a tight, close-quarters area compared to the open space of Siberia? Maybe Die Rise will provide a much more difficult challenge in tight spaces, perhaps forcing you into one decision or another.
  17. It's definitely a question with many answers. If Treyarch were to draw the curtains on Zombies with Black Ops II, I can only see 3 things they could do. 1) A standalone game, which most of us want. The Zombies devs could expand the story so much further from where they left off after the fourth and final map pack of BLOPS II. This would please the true fans of the mode, as they could add a complete campaign explaining everything from the discovery of Element 115 to the destruction of Earth and everything in between. The players who only play the mode to kill Zombies for the hell of it would have mixed emotions but they would have to accept that's what Treyarch have done. 2) A video or movie of some sort based on what we know. The encore to what was already a spectacular rollercoaster ride. The hard thing would be getting 17 people who look like / are the characters from each map (wouldn't mind seeing Sarah Michelle Gellar backstabbing Big George with the Sickle), and re-creating every event we have witnessed in the game. I'd happily pay a tenner to watch it in a 3D cinema. 3) A final shabang. Something so massive we'd all shit bricks when we saw it. I wouldn't know what this could be, nor could I even begin to guess. We know how secretive Treyarch can be. Personally, I'd be more than happy for the story to conclude with Map Pack 4. It's gone so far, and there's only so far you can take these things. It's had everything a great story needs and Treyarch have done themselves proud with it.
  18. I'll enjoy whatever Treyarch throws at us, be it a musical, humourous or action-packed trailer. Well, anything except an Ascension-like one. *shudders* Fingers crossed for Elena in the background though!
  19. I don't think the Zombies will be buffed. The mode looks more focused on teamwork so downing the lone human might not be so hard. Plus with no perk machines and (I'd imagine) up to 7 zombies chasing you, it will take a lot of wit and skill to survive for a long time. I'm not liking the thought of the Olympia as the weapon of choice ether. Sure it will grant a one hit kill for a while but 2 shells isn't nearly enough to clear a group. Unless the M1911 is your secondary.
  20. If you do see any of the leaked information about Die Rise, remember the rules and keep it to yourself. There are numerous videos on YouTube and there are a few things popping up on forums. Unfortunately I happen to know something I shouldn't (a few of my friends showed me) but I'll not be spilling the beans until the 29th.
  21. Here's the first bit of DLC news. Revolution is the first Map Pack for Black Ops II and it is set to be released on January 29th. It has 4 multiplayer maps: Hydro, Grind, Downhill & Mirage, 1 Zombies Map "titled" Der Rise (The Rise, funnily enough), and a new SMG called the Peacekeeper. I'd expect a trailer within the next 2 weeks.
  22. I knew I was a decent Zombie slayer when I was alone and stuck in the Receiving Area on Moon, and managed to defend myself at Round 24 with no perks and only an M14 & Olympia.
  23. It's just the original 4 and the Pack-A-Punch.
  24. It's not a glitch, though I can't really guess why Treyarch would put it there in the first place.
  25. Nuketown is at the same time as Moon. At Round 25 you can hear him say how he is now in control of the Zombies, as well as the Zombies' eyes going blue.
