  2. Post a screenshot of your high round leaderboards, and you'll get the medal that equates to it. For you, it's over round 50, so Richtofen.
  3. Okay, I suck. Sorry guys. Alright, so when does everyone finish with school? Maybe we can schedule a playdate around then. I know I will be online for a very long time the weekend of the 15th. Does that sound good? Let me know!
  4. Welcome! I know you're here for the strategy and the story, so let me share with you two very fine works, written by some pretty cool people around here. The Complete Solo Zombies Survival Guide written by Superhands: viewtopic.php?f=83&t=19165 The Master Zombies Guide written by Ehjookayted: viewtopic.php?f=83&t=18800 We've got quite the arsenal of zombie slayers here on CoDz, maybe better than you guys All kidding aside, it's good to have you and I'm sure you'll fit just right in. "CoDz will never die, so long as the men who fight for what is morally right in the face of what is ethically wrong stand true to the tenants of one nation, under Richtofen, with liberty and zombification for all." Ehj~
  5. Shooter, sick updates dude, the table looks so good. but this is the world record for Kino, according the zombie community on YouTube, by KingJaq Offsuit and his partner: Also, sadly, Hands' record on Shi No Numa was beaten by that very same guy, KingJaq:
  6. Definitely going to go with you on this, man; I totally think that being in a state of mind where you aren't really hyped or feeling the rush of adrenaline works best for something that requires such instinct. When we aren't hyped up or on the natural drug we call adrenaline, we act without the influence of anything. We are using solely instincts and conditioned habits to succeed. That's where we can all shine in No Man's Land: when we stop trying to overthink things and just play the game, we are much better players. Of course, this requires tons of practice in No Man's Land, but it's crazy how you think that you need to go wild when you're actually in game. It's quite the opposite really; your practice becomes your game, you are the vessel with which your hours of game time manifest themselves. And in that relaxed state, you are truly at your best. Why do you think he's called TheRelaxingEnd? ;)
  7. Welcome back, it's good to see another old user returning. I'm Ehjookayted, just one of the guys on CoDz now. I hope you really enjoy your stay, and if you want someone to catch you up on everything that's gone on in the time that you've been gone, add me on Skype if you want. Skype: eyecntspel Glad to have you back! :D
  8. Welcome back, dude. I've seen your name on here enough to know you got a lot to bring to the table. Also, your argument for WaW over Black Ops is one of the most valid I've seen, and one that I can completely respect. Good to have you back.
  9. Ah yes, we all know how much strategy has blown up in the past months. From December till now, things have changed in just about... every map, really. I came back in August, with little credit to my name, asking for your help on the Master Zombies Guide. Now, it seems but another guide in the grand scheme. Now I will ask you all, who will help me to redefine strategy as we know it? To elevate our existence to a level never before thought possible? The strategies are all here; I simply the need support system, a greater one than when I published the first incarnation of this beast. Who will help me in this second foray, this final foray into Black Ops strategy? Lend me your ears, and hear me when I say that this guide will summarize everything we have ever known about zombie strategy and prepare us all for the second coming of Black Ops. A farewell to a game we knew so well. The guide will be released on October 13, 2012. I know I can count on the original authors to aid me, but who else? Let's find out, and let's redefine the guide, let's leave our imprint on Black Ops, an imprint that will last until the undead are finished for good. 8-) Ehj~
  10. Everyone has a different style of play, right down to how they dodge the incoming zombies. What's the way you prefer to dodge zombies, and your signature dodging move, if you have one? I personally have a move that helps me out tremendously. It involves a quick cut back, a simple drag out, and then sprinting, while screen shaking, followed by a counter clockwise rotation of the right analog stick, followed by a sharp downward movement of the analog stick. The last part isn't necessary, but it makes the dodge look smoother and in some cases can avoid the occasional hit. For getting through a gap, I try to only get through the gaps where I know I have room to sprint jump (NML excluded), so I usually do that, screen shake and then move forward or cut back, depending on what the situation requires.
  11. Nice idea. Deadshot would help with the Dual Wield CZ75s!
  12. Wow. That was... simply breathtaking. I've never seen anyone so passionately express love for a single map so vehemently as you have. Hell yes I am motivated. Hell yes I am ready to spread the word about your beloved Dead Ops Arcade. This is what zombies can give to one person. What can it do for an entire community? Well, my friends, you're looking right at what has it done. The future is evermore bright, and posts like this, can only further elucidate a frighteningly brilliant future for us, for CoDz, and for the gaming industry. Good day, gentlemen. 8-)
  13. First of all, great thread, very well explained and deals with advanced strategy that I've always liked to read and think about. I'm not really sure which way I'd run it. I think I'd definitely go with what's fastest. I'm confident in my dodging ability and I'm going to give the credit to Pish for a really great train in solo. For co-op, I'd run the way Mato and Relaxing run it, like so: OwD2nK4kL6g
  14. Sounds good Jolteon; I'll keep that in mind. For time purposes, Chopper may have to draft you, but don't worry, since I have a feeling he'll be the number 1 seed. Okay, so as far as seeding goes. It will be seeded according to who has the most kills on NML out of the 4 captains (on this day, May 23rd, 2012). Thanks for the help, Way. Also, I think I'll make an executive decision. Here are the maps to be played for the seeds. 1 Seed (Chopper): Kino Der Toten 2 Seed (Phxntxm): Der Riese 3 Seed (Ehjookayted): Call of the Dead 4 Seed (way2g00): Five In the draft, the number 4 seed will pick first each and every round; then it'll count down backwards. The number 1 seed has the easiest map to play, but 4 has the opportunity to get the best supporting cast. Ideally, the captains should host. I think we're all capable of that. You have 4 hours to get to round 30 with 4 players. Normally it should take only 2.5, but we will leave room for you guys to restart if there are stupid downs before an acceptable round (10-12). Remember to take screenshots of the end game leaderboards. In this case, everyone can record except for me, so ideally, someone with some recording capabilities should be on my team. If not, that's fine as well. Finally, the matchups are 1 vs. 4 and 2 vs. 3. The winners will play in the championship for brains (an amount to be determined), and the losers will each play a consolation game on Verruckt. The championship game will be held on: Ascension.
  15. Okay so here's an idea. Do a 4 team tournament of 8-16 players, engaged in a game of survival of the fittest. We'll have to work out the kinks, but we need at least some interest. Way, I'm on my phone, so can you post your thread into this post? AKA edit it for me? Anyway, see the rules for survival of the fittest. But I was thinking that we'd each play 2 games to 30. With four teams we can have a mini tournament. The maps will be predetermined and the seeding arranged based on your guys' votes. We will have a draft of players. There will be four captains. These captains will be: Ehjookayted way2g00 Phxntxm ChopperNator After we set a date and get your interest, we'll have a draft and arrange seeding. How's that sound? ------ Roger. Here are the rules for SOTF tournament: Rules: 1. You are awarded 100 points only if you complete 30 rounds with 4 players. 2. You lose 1 points for each down. Excluded Maps: Moon, Dead Ops click here for more info over and out. -----
  16. I had no homework this weekend. I went to Prom and spent 2 days with my best friend. I'm sorry but you can't tell people how to spend their time and how to prioritize their life. Zombies is a great game, but it isn't worth a weekend of free time, sacrificing friends and family. Those are my priorities, and they're probably the same for lots of other people.
  17. Thanks Alpha. I would love for this to go into the NZC! I know that formatting can be a real pain, so if you want me to reformat this, then just say the word. Ehj~
  18. You get the grammar enthusiast medal by being nominated, so if you're really someone who goes out of their way to keep the grammar of his/her posts in tip-top shape, you should be nominated!
  19. The Advice Thread would be the best place. Or you could create a thread in off topic and I could lock it for you, if you didn't want anyone to respond. It's really up to you.
  20. Hi, I do think you've got something here, but a couple things: it needs to be longer/more developed and using proper capitalization and punctuation just helps with readability overall. Finally, I know you're new, I understand that, but something we try to do around here is not ask for brains. See, brains are like good reputation, and doesn't it seem weird to ask people to speak well of you? See, it's just weird. Welcome to the site and this is a solid post, don't get me wrong. I just think it's necessary to be critically constructive when it comes to stories.
  21. Welcome back man! Everything about here has changed, except that we're still awesome. I still use your BBCode guide to this very day. Looking forward to seeing more of you around here. Take some welcome back brains. CoDz will never die, so long as the men who fight for what is morally right in the face of what is ethically wrong stand true to the tenants of one nation, under Richtofen, with liberty and zombification for all. Ehj~
  22. I can't wait to see what's in store for us... ;)
  23. Of course! I must update this. Now the authors are all super qualified. See what I did there? ;)
  24. Feeling like a good son today, I thought about the value of my mother's life to me and recalled the scare she had back in February. Then, I thought about the value of life in zombies, which is clearly just virtual. This leads me to ask- what are the most creative ways to kill yourself and your team in zombies? I think to kill oneself and one's team creatively, you have to have some great map knowledge and weapon knowledge. So tell me, what are your most creative ways to kill yourself after a 100 round, no down game? *cough cough, Superhands* Or, if you're just feeling like a trouble maker, how do you kill your entire team? Make sure to include map specific details and guns as well! :D
  25. Why yes it does, Shoreyo!
