But can anyone tell me what this icon is? Right above "11," kinda looks like that bro-fist thing but I don't even know how I got it..
-
Let me guess, you're 15? How close am I to the right answer?

You know why I'm so trhilled? Because this is the last Call of Duty DLC for me. I'm a PS3 user and after next month, no longer will I have to wait. I hope this DLC is a perfect conclusion to my CoD career. (I've always been a COD fanboy but this whole thing has nothing to do with the game itself btw)

Yeah because Nazis existed as an official political party in the German Empire in 1918. the cross pattee is not an exclusively Nazi thing. Weimar republic used it along with Templars (and Weimar Republic was established in 1919)
-
True, it does look like an Iron Cross But that shape is called "Cross pattee" (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cross_pattée ( I'm sure it's a german invention but there is a Templar angle, I mean, the armoured zombies the excavators unearthed showed the attire from the crusade era

If yo usee the new trailer, you'll see knights with helmets that resemble middle age european design. But one thing stood out is when the robot opened the ceiling, he had a Templar cross on him. Conspiracy theories say Templars continued to exist even after the crusades and fall of Constantinople so.. I guess we have new things here? Also, I wouldn't consider this topic pointless - I also wanted to create the 115th thread in this subforum xD (with this, there are 115 threads as I type this)

============================== NAWA-I-WAQT Newspaper http://www.nawaiwaqt.com.pk/ The man in the picture on the newspaper is Khalid Baig who writes a blog , Truth by Kbaig for the nawaiwaqt newspaper. http://www.truthbykbaig.com/?m=0 This may not be the exact image used, but it's close enough ============================== Cartoon Comic I can't find the exact cartoon comic used, but this is by the same artist & the man is very similar ============================== Conclusion - I think the Power Pole in Tranzit is a reused texture from the Campaign Missions & has no impact on the Zombie Storyline. Though I'd still like to find the original cartoon & have the words translated. Spot on, I never noticed this before! Good finds! Also, this is Urdu. Though they use Arabic text, the language is completely different from Arabic (Urdu is Indo-European, Arabic is Semitic). Anywho, I managed to write out the word: مہنگائی Google translate says it means "Inflation." So yeah, I think it's just a filler texture with no relevance to zombies.

Why is this thread awesome? Because new facts! But what is so bad about it? It lists new/hidden features without explaining how to achieve them!! GRR =P

I am VERY thrilled by this By going back to the beginning they're completing the story "cycle," hence the recurrent circular-shape motif throughout the trailer ( "-2," the round stone switch from Shangri-la, Kino's chandelier and, most importantly, Moon). Or maybe I'm reading too much into it? I can't help but think of Lullaby for a Deadman "Life is just spinning, your end, my beginning"

I think it's more of a reference to the Schroedinger's Cat theory than Pandora's box.
-
I'm guessing it's the alternate universe "mushed together" theory. Remember Fringe, that one episode where both universes converged where two bodies ended in one, and both events (one universe 9/11 happened and in the alternate universe something else (forgot which)) and they ended up in the same spatial point.

I think, BASED ON YOUR THEORY, is that Quick revive and any perk purchased afterwards is gone, but I'm sure I bought quick revive once and lost everything when I downed even though it wasn't my first perk on the screen.

So as we know, the mode is called "Resolution 1925." A quick Google search shows that is was a security council resolution (from the UN) calling for an embargo against UNITA, a political party in Angola. The world map (from the Zombies menu) shows the location in the southern part of Africa. The opening scene shows they're walking in a desert, away from the Pyramids (of Giza) So how did a WESTERN town end up there? When I played solo, Marlton said something about the "Tectonic shift," which is a shift in the larger crust of the Earth. I would assume it is caused by the rockets fired from moon. I'm guessing some shifting sent this poor mine town to Africa. Though I don't think the initial jump is a jump through Earth (as of course the core would melt us all immediately). I just think there were shift and many places shifted elsewhere. Big theory but I'm sure you guys can figure out more.

PArdon my dumb question but what is Broken Arrow?
-
I like what you wrote except for the "Save Me Moses" part. Are you referring to Pareidolia backwards? I think you're trying to draw connections where there are none. In a sense, it's an auditory illusion, or an audio "pareidolia" if you will (though I'm sure that's not the term). Otherwise, solid.

CoDz official Die Rise general feedback and first impression
yazter replied to MegaAfroMan's topic in Die Rise
Question for those who played this map quite a bit. I hail from PS3 land so I can't access this stuff yet. I did NOT like TranZit/Green Run tho I enjoy big maps. How does die Rise compare to (my two favourite maps) Ascension and Moon? Or is it more reminiscent if Shangri-la (narrow paths and such)? -
Denizens Started off as an Experiment, Proof in the Map
yazter replied to optimus555's topic in TranZit
СССР = USSR Верх = up (and the arrow is pointing at the side of the crate that should be up, "This Side Up") Doesn't help much. Also I'm still curious how any Russian got into that map anyway. -
I was considering the link the famed Mass energy equivalence formula, based on his initials; the well-known E=mc^2. Maybe it's a coincidence but it's the first thing that popped to my head when I read his name

That's what I thought, it could be Hong Kong. Even in large image, and yes, the characters can all be in Kanji but I cannot discern any Hiragana, Katakana. So, I'm not ruling out another Asian country (Mainland China or Hong Kong)

░▒▓Samantha's Existence & Life told in EE Songs? -Theory▓▒░
yazter replied to BlackOpsTiger's topic in Moon
Just fyi, "The One" is sung from the perspective of the Zombies. I remember asking Kevin Sherwood (songwriter/composer) himself during an online gaming event about the Shangri-La easter egg music. He said ALL songs are sung from Samantha's perspective except for "The One," Shi No Numa's Easter Egg. -
I'm sure I'm not the only one who saw this but do indulge me for a second. If someone brought this up, please let me now. Here you see Shangri-La's loading screen, and a 'Tornado' that lifts one of the temples "upwards" then, on the moon, you see a stone-made building in the lower right picture (by the astronauts). Could it be that one of the Shangri-La temples ended up on the moon? I know it's unlikely but am I just 'seeing stuff'? Or is it just a "pareidolia" (no pun intended, lol!)?
