  1. Tia Rydia HASTE Facility Year 2025 "You look better!", exclaimed Tia as she walked into the gym. Kasady was the only one in there, on a treadmill. She was going at a steady, but fast pace on it. She looked at Tia and smiled, turning off the treadmill as she stepped off the treadmill puffing. She grabbed a bottle of water and almost sculled the whole thing down. "Thanks", Kasady laughed. "Didn't want to just lay around in my room all day", sitting down and wiping her forehead with a towel. Tia sat down next to her. "Do you...", Tia mumbled, "...remember anything?" "No...", Kasady replied, taking the last swig of water. "I don't" "It'll be okay", Tia said, giving a weak smile. Kasady stood up and walked over to the window overlooking New York City. She put her hand to it and looked down. "Enough of about me, what's going on with you?", she asked, turning around. "What do you mean?", replied Tia "Well...how are you a doctor? What were you doing that took a whole day?" "Well..."said Tia. "They picked us up when you were hurt", she looked around quickly to make sure no one was around, and said in a hushed voice "I lied and said I was a doctor". "Heh", Kasady said, folding her arms. "By some miracle, they believed me", Tia continued. "After you were brought here, I volunteered to help some other patients who were here. It was lot harder than I expected, but I managed to do all that stuff secretly. They were amazed at how fast these patients were recovering once I saw them. I've basically just been helping ever since". "Well what about yesterday?", Kasady asked. "You only just came back. What took you?" Tia put her hand on her head. "Sorry about that. HASTE does a partnership with a local hospital, they provide support there sometimes. Anyway, we had a patient who had been hit by a car. Scans showed he had an abnormality in his brain, and another doctor wanted to bring him back here". "That doesn't explain..." "I know. I know", continued Tia, "I was actually back yesterday, but I had to look after the patient. He was put into sedation and I just had to make sure he was fine over the next 12 hours. "Couldn't you...", Kasady asked. "You know?" "Too many other people there. Quite a lot actually", Tia began wondering. "There usually doesn't need to be that many people monitoring a patient.....well anyway, after making sure his vitals were fine I left him with Dr. Vahlmer, and just came to see you!", Tia piped.
  2. I kinda do. I think a lot of people do though and thats why you see so many topics from years ago revived. However that's not necessarily a good thing in some cases. Sometimes a thread should just stay dead.
  3. Call, Mob, I wonder what the next one will be? If we get celeb singers, Song of the Dead would be a pretty cool name.

    1. Electric Jesus

      Electric Jesus

It's been all actors thus far, with different themes. (horror, gangster) maybe they'll use comedy actors?

    2. Stop Mocking Me0

      Stop Mocking Me0

Heist of the dead is what I'm hoping for, 4 badasses sneak into a skyscraper and must obtain data and escape from zombies and robots! (Also I really want saul rubinek to be there as the "smart guy" like arlington richtofen and marelton)

  4. I don't mind Extinction. I've only played PoC at a mates a couple of times but I enjoyed it each time. I also don't mind Ghosts MP from what I've played. The customisation and 10 soldiers thing is awesome. I don't see myself going out and buying it though. I don't want to have to buy a game every year (have only gotten 3arc titles), which is why I have stayed away from Assassins Creed. It looks like a fun series and story, but I'm not committed to buying it every year and the 10+ titles.
  5. People buy the map packs for a variety of different reasons, not just for zombies or its story.
  6. Eh, well Nuketown 2025 was free anyway. It was a paid exclusive for a bit anyway, but ultimately it is part of the main core maps. It's cool they did this, but I'm wondering why now? Why didn't they do it the same time Nuketown 2025 went free on the other platforms?
  7. No Mans Land is its own game mode. It's not just another training area. If you can master it than you are a pretty skilled player.
  8. A portable one like that I don't think is possible. If it is, I think it would have to be very small version to not have any complications. I agree there isn't really anything interesting that we know of in it but I still consider it the Wonder Weapon of TranZit. And I don't know how to answer your question because I don't know know much about electro-magnetic pulses. The DG-2, there is really no need to power down zombies, because the DG-2 kills them. That's its function. Likewise with the Turbine. It's function is to power things up. If zombies fell asleep whenever it got in range, it would be OP as hell.
  9. Why would a turbine or DG-2 shot make a zombie sleep? A turbines function is to power things up, not down. And a DG-2 kills the zombie, so there is no need for it to make it sleep. Why does it matter whether it can be made or not? Many of the things in zombies can't be made in real life. The box pulls weapons across time, so it doesn't matter whether they exist in our real world today. I also don't think you could make a portable jet turbine like that.
  10. I'm just going by what Maxis said in the terminal files. That's why I think it's kinda normal that the EMP's can do that.
  11. @thegoldenspork115 He said he thinks the EMPs are the Wonder Weapons of the map. They aren't Wonder Weapons though. Can they do things? Sure. But 115 has electrical properties, that's why these things are disabled by them.
  12. Tia Rydia Lincoln Medical Center Year 2025 Tia watched as Mr. Meier went into the CT scan. She looked at his face. He looked calm, and collected, apart from being in pain. But there was a sadness in him that he tried not to show. Tia felt a little sad for him. That's when she really started to look at him, just before his head went in. His facial features. He looked very similar to an old ally of hers and Kasady. He looks just like- "The scans are ready", said Vahlmer, looking down at a flat white table. She walked over beside him, as Marshall Meier's body appeared as a 3D holographic body. Vahlmer swiped the air, and the holograph body turned into a skeletal figure, along with all his organs and muscle tissue. Large red areas showed where the injuries were, what was affected. Parts of his arms and legs were red, as well as his chest and head. Vahlmer parted his hands by the holographs chest, zooming in. "What can you see, Ms Rydia", spoke Vahlmer. "Hmm...", said Tia. She bent down and stared, trying to look for irregularities. "His heartbeat appears to be normal. Ummmm...his lungs don't appear to be punctured or anything. It doesn't look like there are any irregularities with that area", she said, hoping she was right. Vahlmer zoomed out. "I thought the same", in a dull tone. "Now, we'll check the head trauma", as he zoomed in on the head and brain. Red covered the head, showing that Mr. Meier had hit his head. "The trauma looks fairly normal", said Tia. "But...it...doesn't look like its damaged his brain or anything. I...think he was very lucky to not permanently damage anything". Vahlmer looked up when Tia had said this. He started to open his mouth to speak, but stopped as the room dimmed and flashed. The holograph went on and off, as power to the hospital surged and flickered. And than it stopped. Everything was back to normal. "What the hell was that?", said Vahlmer, looking around for an answer. "Doctor...", said Tia. "What?", he said annoyed. "Look!", she said, pointing to the holographic brain. Vahlmer leaned in, wondering what she was pointing at. Than he saw it. The head was still red, but in the brain, was an orange light. Vahlmer zoomed in on the cerebal cortex. The orange light was coming from the Parietal lobe, and it appeared to be pulsating. Vahlmer immediately started scribing down notes hastily. "What...what does orange stand for?", asked a confused Tia. Vahlmer ignored her, finishing up his notes. When he was done, he spoke to her. "We're going to head back to HASTE with Mr. Meier. I can study what this means when we get there".
  13. EMPS aren't Wonder Weapons, they're just a tactical/secondary like the Molotovs.
  14. No, cause I hate unfinished stories. When it's finished? Sure I suppose. Until than, I think they can rectify their mistakes in the next game, and give us a good story with the O4 and N4.
  15. Tia Rydia Lincoln Medical Center Year 2025 "I'll be honest Ms. Rydia", said Dr. Vahlmer as they walked, "I'm only doing this because Garrison wants it". "Oh...", said Tia, a little taken back. "I'd rather be back at HASTE than here", he muttered. "The medical ward there is top notch compared to here. I can hardly do anything here. But orders are orders", he sighed. Tia said nothing. "You may be Garrisons new pet, but don't expect a free ride with all of us. You have the title of doctor, but you still have so much to learn". "I...I want to learn", Tia said quietly. They continued walking down the ward, turning a corner. The hospital was busy, waiting rooms were full to the rim. Doctors and nurses all rushed pass, on the way to their next patients. As Tia walked passed the many rooms, she could see patients all in bed. She wondered what the problems were with these people, and whether she could heal them? "Wait here", said Vahlmer. "I'll need to get you a white jacket". He looked her pink dress up and down, before walking off. Tia sighed and leaned her back against the wall. She had only encountered John Vahlmer a few times at HASTE, and of those times she noted he was a driven man. He was the one who helped Tia and Kasady when they first got there. He was nice at first, but after that he had always seemed annoyed and pissed off. Tia was not sure why though. Could he be jealous of her? What is that mans problem. I want don't want to usurp him or anything, I just want to help people. He needs to-..........why is that woman staring at me? Tia noticed a small dark haired girl peeking at her from around the corner. Her skin was tanned, almost bronze like. The girl was beautiful Tia thought, but she wondered why she was watching her. Tia gave a small wave and smile, and started to approach her. "Dr. Rydia!", yelled Vahlmer, jogging up to her as she turned around, "Put this on quickly, we have an E814", handing her a medical coat. "E814...", said Tia as she put the coat on, trying to remember what the code was. "Motor vehicle collision with pedestrian!", her eyes widened as Vahlmer nodded in confirmation. "Follow me" She had to admit, he was a great doctor and did care for his patients, even if he didn't care for Tia. She followed him, and turned her head to look for the girl. She was gone.
  16. Didn't think of Black, that would be nice. Green I'd like to see just cause we already have red, blue and yellow. I'm not sure if it would look good though. Purple would be cool as well. And maybe White. You kinda already see that though (Five comes to mind)
  17. Doing Famine Challenge: Get RPG, hope to not get War Machine, get Ballistic Knife -_-

    1. DeathBringerZen

      DeathBringerZen

The exact reason why I didn't want to do it. Unfairly balanced when you draw a combination like that.

  18. The Winter's Howl isn't really needed since that's basically what the water is for. Would be pretty redundant.
  19. Why the hell was this topic revived? Really didn't need anymore posts.
  20. The light drizzles of the rain hit Tia's face softly. Her cheeks twitched, trying to get them off. She let out a low groan, just wanting to sleep. When that would not work, she opened her eyes, her brain needing a moment to take in the surroundings. It was dark, but her eyes adjusted to make out the trees and grass. She stood up, and felt weary. She looked over herself, noting the faded bruises and cuts on her. She wasn't hurt, but felt a little drained. Why do I feel like this? What happened? She looked up to the sky, only to find no sky. Towers and skyscrapers surrounded the park, brightly lit up like beacons. There were no stars, only an orange and blue hazy hue, due to light pollution. Flashing lights would randomly fly in one direction, belonging to helicopters. In the distance over the light rain, she could hear the motors and prolonged honks of New York traffic chaos. Tia was in awe. Where am I? Where is....Kasady! She jumped instantly, darting her head around looking for her friend. She could not see her. Ugh...we were in that theater...I think. There was...a teleporter, yes. We were going to excape. But.........oh god! "Kasady!", yelled Tia. No response. "Kasady! Where are you?". Again, no response. She took off, following a foot path that weaved through the park, making sure to look in every direction. She had no idea where she was, when she was, or where she was going. Please...please be safe and nearby Kasady. I have to find you...before he does
  21. I like some of the things you mentioned. Probably the two things I wouldn't change are the first two things you listed, the fog and the lava. I loved the fog. It just really really set the scene for me in TranZit. The first week and even month, I had no idea where I was going in the fog, even when I was in the best. It honestly kinda bought a scare factor that the series hasn't really had. I get so jumpy and tense when running through it, not knowing where I am going sometimes still. Not knowing where the zombies are, etc. The only thing I would change is Denizen spawn rate. I didn't mind them, but I just wish they wouldn't appear so fast after killing one. The lava sets the same scenery for me as well, plus I kinda love the idea of environmental hazards. The explosion is annoying, but it's cool as well. Not sure if it does splash damage to zombies, but if it does, even better.
  22. Damn these are some pretty unique ideas! I'd even settle for just opposites of our normal power-ups, some of what we got in Turned. Half-Points: Instead of double points, team earns half the amount of points. Would be a ÷2 instead of x2. Empty Ammo: Empties all ammo in the reserve clip, leaving only the ammo in the current clip. Would be quite rare. Also just a red Max Ammo. Anti-Nuke: Freezes all enemy players in spot, so they can't run for 10-15 seconds. They can shoot though. Some of the one's I can think of. I'm loving the Anti-Perk one though, and the Red Screen one.
  23. Aww welcome back! Be sure to make a new thread and tell us how you are and how the journey was!
  24. Hey there CoDz, this is going to be a short story about my character in the Inception Roleplaying Story, Tia Rydia. If you haven't read all 3 seasons of Inception, I urge you to do so. But if not, I will try to self contain it so that you wouldn't need to read them to understand some things. Inception S1 Inception S2: Separation Inception S3: Genesis This short will take place between S3 (from this point, anything after with Tia is retconned out) and Inception: Brave New World. It will deal with her adapting to life in 2025, as well as setting up a subplot for her, to occur in Inception: Brave New World. It's a Work In Progress. Tia Rydia Central Park, New York 2025 The rain lightly battered down on the grass fields in Central Park. And yet no one was around to watch it. Ever since the rise of the technological age, Central Park was forced to close it's gates indefinitely due to the massive surgance of homeless people. They had all come from all over the world, selling their soul practically. Bustling scientists, fresh kids out of college, everyone wanted to hitch an easy ride on the technological rise. Most failed, and had nothing to fall back on. Homeless masses took refuge at Central Park, and turned it into it's own tent city, which of course skyrocketed crime and murder. An emergency bill was passed, declaring Central Park closed, after a massive fire had broken out, killing hundreds of homeless people and burning 70% of the park. It had been years since that occurred, and while it still remained closed, now it looked like nothing at all had scorched it. It was never explained why it had grown back so quickly. Many theorized it was secret technology being used by the government. Others thought magic or witchcraft. Either way, no one was around to see the restored beauty of Central Park. Except tonight. Sparks of electricity started forming by the trees, turning into long arcs of volts. Soon a bright light enveloped the electricity, followed by a loud bang, than a thud. Once the electricity died down and dissipated, a bundle remained. This bundle was a human girl, dressed in a pink dress and frock, with bright blue hair. The girl was a young adult, who looked like she was peacefully sleeping from afar. Upon closer inspection, she had cuts and bruises all over her body. And she was in fact unconscious. The girl was Tia Rydia.
  25. Tia Rydia The HASTE Facility, New York Island Year 2025 Kasady Rhoads looked down at the bed, shuffling her feet. Tia could see in her eyes that she was trying, very hard to remember. As she was about to say something, the door opened. "Ah, Ms Rhoads, so good to see you are doing well". "Mr Garrison!", piped Tia, "What are you doing here?". Kasady looked at the man, sizing him up. He was at least in his 50's as evident by the grey comb over and thick mustache on his upper lip. He had crows feet on his eyes and some wrinkles, but his face was still fairly solid. The man wore a black suit, that seemed to be tailored to him perfectly. She looked to his eyes, and was surprised that they were devoid of colour. Just a steel grey colour. Kasady had never seen anyone with grey eyes before. "Just here to check up on the patient Dr. Rydia", Garrison replied, looking at Tia. "How is she?" "Her vitals and readings are stabilized now, they appear very normal now. She does have memory loss though", Tia sadly said. "Shame...", Garrison said, looking down at the floor. "Well Ms. Rhoads, we're here to help. We have some of the best medical and rehabilitation facilities, as well as some of the brightest doctors", he looked at Tia before turning back to Kasady. "Once you're feeling up to it, feel free to explore the facility. And just ask for help if you need it". Kasady stared at the man and said nothing. She managed a weak smile. "Well I best be on my way. Dr. Rydia, you're scheduled to assist Dr. Vahlmer at the Lincoln Medical Center" "Of course sir", she said. He walked out the door, leaving the two women. She turned to Kasady. "That was Arthur Garrison, CEO of HASTE". "Haste?", replied Kasady. "It's a privately owned business. I'm not exactly sure what it stands for...or what they do", said Tia discontented. "But I've been helping the medical staff here. I wanted to make sure you were safe". She smiled and hugged her friend. "I'm so glad you're awake". "Heh, me too", said Kasady, trying to chuckle about it. "I have to go, but I promise I will be back soon", explained Tia. "Please...try to remember. I'll explain as best as I can when I return". She smiled, before she walked out, leaving Kasady alone in the room.
