  1. I think they should maybe bring back some teleporting elements. TranZit had it with the lights, but I think that was the only BO2 map that had it.
  2. I consider it the map specific/big gun weapon of the map. I don't even care about the story wise meaning of it anymore.
  3. Call of the Dead takes place in 2010/2011 based off their attire/looks (Danny Trejo is in his Machete look I think). The rockets hitting thing is really debatable honestly as there is evidence for both 60's and present time. If it's 60's, I usually think it was the normal timeline, up till the rockets hit Earth. Since that never happened originally (since CotD happens), we're basically taking a different branch of the timeline from than on, one where the world was destroyed, and one where Call of the Dead doesn't happen. If it's present time they hit, than there isn't anything wrong with it. It would mean they only teleported to Shangri-La and Moon, and not time-travelled. Back on topic: I think the 115 pulling weapons across time thing will be canon thing now. I don't think an explanation was really needed till BO2, as WaW and BO1 MP weapons fit in with there zombie maps naturally, whereas that changes with BO2. Honestly for me it seems like an easy cop out (remember when everyone said the Vril-Ya did it when something couldn't be explained? I feel like this is what 115 will become), but it's still an explanation.
  4. Are you t3h PeNgU1N 0F d00m's spork? Welcome man, looks like you're becoming a recognized community member
  5. @thegoldenspork115 I suppose that's your definition though (that sounded snarky and I didn't mean it to so sorry if it did). I don't think there is a definition for it. Not in game or from the developers. Personally I believe (there is no hard evidence really for this) that the Thrustodyne Aeronautics Model 23 and Sliquifer are actually weapons. There are blueprints to build them, both (especially the TAM 23, it could've easily just been the simple Jet Gun) have a unique name that I doubt the N4 would've just thought of on the spot. And Studio has that weird Sliquifier model which actually looks like a weapon and not made of scrap parts. So I believe what we see in TranZit and Die Rise are just prototypes, or just dumbed down versions of them. I think the real weapons would be PaP'able. Anyway, like DBZ said, I consider a Wonder Weapon to be the Ultimate/Unique Weapon of the map. When I think of TranZit/Die Rise's Wonder Weapon, I think TAM 23/Sliquifier, not the Ray Gun.
  6. Black Ops II I like both, but looking back at BO1, most of the maps feel like Der Riese reskins. With BO2 there was uniqueness to all elements. Map layout, wall weapons, box weapons. I loved it. Story was meh, so BO1 wins there. But I prefer the N4 over the O4 so I hope they return. MP wise, BO2. I love the Pick 10 system and I like the weapons. The maps are so and so though, too many CQC and reskinned maps. BO1 had some memorable maps. Campaign wise, BO1. I just could not get into David Mason, and Hudson would never be a mole (it's never even properly explained). I did like the choices and being able to pick your weapons and equipment. BO1 had very memorable levels and a memorable (and my favourite) storyline. The Reznov twist was sad and excellent.
  7. I'm sure some (just underlined that in case someone mistakes it for all) of them would appreciate learning and help from better players. We were all noobs (god I hate that word, its derogatory) at some point, but isn't it better to help guide them into becoming better and more knowledgeable? Just send a message or ask over the mic telling them what you think they could improve on in a constructive, not negative way.
  8. I really do not think the Mark II is a mutated Mark I. I just think whoever created it (most likely Porter) took parts of the Mark I and used them in creating the Mark II. And I'm starting to think the Mark II is present in BO2 because of 115 honestly. The only real backstory given for any Wonder Weapons in this game is the Elemental Staves and to a lesser extent the Blundergat. While it does appear more likely in Buried and it was introduced than, it does not mean it was created or left there or whatever.
  9. I mean technically all maps are canon to the zombie storyline. With Mob of the Dead and Origins, originally things probably went differently, but something happened that causes them to play out as we see it. Whether these affect and change the timeline, or they're resolved since they both seem to be in a cycle, I don't know. We weren't given enough information about what caused these changes though. Getting into it would just cause a headache, but I'm guessing the Rift and Agartha has something to do with it.
  10. I think Treyarch laxed the term Wonder Weapon. I mean technically yeah it has to have 115, but the Jet Gun and Sliquifer are still extraordinary weapons that I think fit in with the term "Wonder Weapon".
  11. C4 is definitely a possibility, Time Bomb is basically a modified C4. It would definitely need some good power behind it though. I think our Primary/Lethal Grenades will always be Frags/Semtex. However like what they did with the EMP, I think a lot of things could appear in the Secondary/Tactical Grenade slot, or equipment. The only thing I could see replacing them is Throwing Knives. Non-explosive, so it doesn't cause crawlers, but higher damage (especially if hit higher up), could probably go through at most 3 zombies? Claymore's/Bouncing Betties already appear as equipment (usually in the Lethal Grenade slot in MP). C4 would probably be in equipment too like the Time Bomb. I imagine it would be a powerful explosion, probably as powerful as a PhD Flopper explosion? Shock Charges would be Tactical, but could be Lethal too maybe. I imagine they would very similar to Electric Cherry's effect, except you can place them wherever. Molotov's I'd love if they returned. Definetly in a Lethal slot this time though, and maybe higher damage and a burning effect on the fire? (I don't think the Fire damaged them or you if you walked through it) Tactical Insertion would probably be equipment, pretty much what JHock said Tomahawks could appear, but after how they did the Hells Retriever, I'd honestly want them to be like that. If they do appear, would pretty much act like Throwing Knives. Smoke Grenades would probably be Tactical, they probably be like a reverse Monkey Bomb. If you hide in the smoke, the zombies will stop in their tracks or won't go for you (like Vulture Aids Green Smoke), but it would most likely be way to OP, so it would probably have to be a short time and not the usual length. Not really about Lethals but I found it fun thinking up ideas for these. Right now the only grenades we have that aren't Wonder Weapons are Frags, Semtex, Molotov's, and EMP's, so I would definitely like to see stuff like this.
  12. I don't think it was built in the Aether, is that even possible haha? I think there's two possibilities. It was either created or whatever in Buried, or created somewhere someplace and 115 pulled it there. Tbh the Paralyzer and Time Bomb are hard to find their origins for as well. And yeah, Buried definetly has a higher drop rate for it, or atleast gives the illusion it does. Multiple people can have it, less box weapons (?) and having the Big Guy smash it into one place would probably make it seem like you get it quicker instead of running around looking for the box.
  13. I wish Treyarch would give Porter some background. I'd also like to see some Harvey Yena weapons and the 87 weapons. About the Mark II's origins location, we really have nothing to work on. It's sorta like Mule Kick. We first saw it on Moon. Than it was patched in to all maps. Canonically, Mule Kick wouldn't have been at Nacht der Untoten, and using that and the fact it wasn't there originally, I would say it wasn't there canonically from Verruckt to Shangri-La, just there for gameplay purposes. Maybe the Mark II appearing in the other maps is just for a gameplay feature? I honestly do think Buried is it's focus map. But there is nothing to really hint about it's origins, other than being H. Porter's creation. The most realistic answer is that it was 115 pulling it through time and space (which I guess could apply to it appearing in the other maps), although it seems like a cop out honestly.
  14. @The Meh I know you said sorry, but for future reference: http://www.charlieintel.com/2013/06/27/treyarch-discusses-the-ray-gun-mark-ii/ http://www.jessesnyder.org/trenches/?p=42 Just be cool man, you can disagree with statements without acting like a dick.
  15. Definetly man. Next gen plus 2 years should mean we definetly get a great 4th season of Zombies. And nah it's okay man, my image creation skills are not the best, I don't use Photoshop anymore and doubt I could do better. You're more than welcome to change it to whatever though, or maybe someone else could whip up a new one if they want.
  16. Hey there Andrew! I'm really happy for you man, it's hard to get away from games and the like and just go and do what you. I'm jealous haha. Just say hi every now and than, you can still keep up on the zombies story PS: I am still amazed you still have the Triple Crown Champion sig I desinged after all this time. It's so bad to look at, I'm not sure how I thought that ever looked good.
  17. I would point to it being discovered at Buried, but that depends on if they patched in quotes for TranZit or Die Rise for the Mk II or if they generic quotes. Also do the Mobsters say anything unique about the Mk II (specifically Al) or just generic quotes? We should probably get a mod to split this into its own thread, there's more talk of its origins tha if it will return in the next game.
  18. Holy shit I finally completed the Origins EE, and with randoms too.

    1. Stop Mocking Me0

      Stop Mocking Me0

With randoms it can be a B*t$#… In all realism, the skill comes more from saving a zombie then actual difficulty in the easter egg...

  19. Started watching Game of Thrones. So far I hate Circe and Sanza the most.

    1. GRILL

      GRILL

Sansa is but a child in an adults world. You can't help her pining over wanting to be a princess, she's not mature - she doesn't know what's coming. Sansa receives a lot of flak and I really don't get it, she's actually one of the stronger characters overall.

    2. GRILL

      GRILL

I'm with you 100% on Circe though lol

  20. Speculation though mate? It's not been in any audio log/radio/TV/quote etc (as a direct quote about the RGM2.) Max Porter is the original designer who designed the Ray Gun, Wave Gun/Zap Guns and Ray Gun Mk II. H. Porter is the fictional Zombies character who created them in game (or at least the PaP versions). It's not directly said, but the fact the Mark II PaP'd is Porter's Mark II, and the designer of it is Max Porter, it can be assumed it's H. Porter's creation. Anyway, I'd be up for Winter's Howl Mark II honestly, use the early version of it as a Mark II since it looks beast:
  21. Anyone think they'll make this a new thing and do Mark III, Mark IV, etc? Or do Mark II's of other Wonder Weapons?
  22. I would want a continuation from Buried with the N4. But I also wouldn't mind seeing the O4 post-Moon pre-TranZit. See how Samantha got trapped in Agartha. I don't want a new group because I would rather a fleshed out N4 than a new group with the same problems the N4 had.

  24. The reason I think the War Machine was detested by everything because it bounced. I don't recall it bouncing in MP (actually it was pretty OP). I like the China Lake better because it exploded on impact, but I also hated it because of the 2 shots, and it was very stocky. I would like to see a buff on Explosives and Shotguns. BO2 made Snipers and to a lesser extent, Pistols viable. I would like to see the next game make Explosives and Shotguns something the player would want. For easter eggs, I would like just one main one. But if they wanna do two or multiple ones, I'd only want that if they made the easter eggs rewards very different. They were hardly different in BO2. I know people hate the Trample Steam because of glitching but I love it. People will glitch regardless of what they're given. I would love to see more buildables that alter the dynamics of a map like that.
  25. I believe that hint is about the PaP version of the Ray Gun, the X2. Also yeah, it's called Porter's Mark II Ray Gun when PaP'd. Most likely because Max Porter designed it along with the Ray Gun and Wave/Zap Guns. For story reasons, we can only go on H. Porter developing it and that's it. The box grabbing weapons from across time could answer that question though. I wouldn't mind it appearing again honestly. The Mark II is stronger than the Mark I, but it doesn't completely overshadow it. So aslong as it doesn't over shadow the normal Ray Gun, I'm fine with that.
