  1. The controls are the same as Zombies and basically every CoD. I don't like what they did with Jason Hudson. When he says to Woods he can't because he has kids, wow. Hudson never would of said that. That fact he was the mole? Yeah no. We aren't even given a full reasoning behind his motives (shame on Treyarch). Was David kidnapped during those 3 years? No. Was his family? Probably not, the CIA probably kept tabs on all it's members and their families. So why was he the mole? We'll never know (along with everything between the two games hinted at in the terminal) because everything had to focus on Raul Menedez. BO1 Hudson never would have done the things that happened in BO2. PS. I find Section to be the most boring generic protagonist in CoD. Only thing that makes him special is being Mason's son.
  2. I'd also factor Downtime, Next-Gen, and new games like Ghosts, BF4, etc for lower numbers now as well.
  3. Just read this again on Facebook. Except now it's 11:45pm, and there was a creepy ass picture that looked like a cross between a Nova 6 Zombie and a Denizen. More creepy this time.
  4. Very very informative! Thank you for linking it! I've never seen dirt mounds in some of those places. I always thought that an existing mound would turn orange. So I could freely dig any mound without worrying about digging a glowing, since it only appears in Zombie Blood? Also what would happen if you got Double Tap after your 4th perk, but before last, from Wunderfizz? Or is programmed not to give you Double Tap after your 4 perks? Also, I've heard if you grab Double Tap before last, it'll take up one of the empty perk bottle slots, meaning you'll miss out on one in the end (if you can only get 4 empty bottles)?
  5. Literally cannot find any. I run everywhere, but I just can never seem to find that orange glow. I do have the Golden Shovel and run around during Zombie Blood. Are there any tips or tricks anyone can give me to help my chances at locating them?
  6. Eh, not to seem like a drag, but it's essentially another "what's your favourite map" thread, since it looks like people aren't taking MP into consideration. Revolution for me. Multiplayer maps were fun and memorable, introduced Turned and a new DLC weapon, and Die Rise wasn't that bad Uprising probably next, some okay maps. Mob was good, Grief Cell Block even more. Vengeance probably next. Forgettable maps, but Zombies even it out. 3 game modes added. Paralyser. Buried was a super fun map that will never bore me because its challenge heaven. Apocalypse last. Again, forgettable maps, but Origins is just a crazy, odd, frustratingly good map. But that's just it. It's only Origins, no Grief/Turned/No Mans Land. No extras like the others.
  7. I think this may have unfortunately been Elena's last track. She doesn't work at Treyarch/Activision anymore. She works at the company that did Bioshock (Insomniac I think). Even if Kevin/3arc/Acti want her for some songs, she may not even be able too, depending if Insomniac let her/what's in her contract. Perhaps Clark and Malukah will be the main singers now. Perhaps BO2 was used to introduce them to us, to be familiar with them by the time Elena left. Who knows, ever sense Buried I've thrown out the singer does this group, with Malukah doing the N4 (Clark's), as well as O4 (Elena's) in this track. I guess we'll see. Regardless, I can't wait to hear Clark and Malukah's songs in the next game. And I also can't wait to see where the 3 singers go with their careers. :)

  9. Oh it applies to every map except TranZit and Buried (and Die Rise if you use the bank). I still think it's a good rule, could've just used some slight alteration though :)
  10. Haha wow. Not necessarily a bad thing (In Final Fantasy's case). But it's good to be back. Personally I think the Extinction forum should be under the Zombie maps, or atleast under the BO2 Zombie maps, since we are zombie forum and all.
  11. Yeah Rule 3 is a bit iffy. There are times in 4p games where you have to buy the doors twice because you somehow still have the most points in the group. Usually I believe everyone should open one door (usually takes about 4 doors to get to center/power anyway), but it's hard when they spend it straight on the box, or realize the box is on the other side, so they run back to spawn and start spending their points on the other side to get to it. #logic Thou shalt not attack George Romero until it's time for his demise. Thou shall not leave a fellow teammate behind via teleporter/lunar lander unless absolutely necessary.
  12. That's incredibly useful! Just a visual glitch I guess. I guess when the Semtex goes off, the blast and the lights and shadows it creates, somehow changes it to it's other coloured piece. In this case, it would only work against Empty Perk Bottle mounds.
  13. I'm thinking it doesn't, but I can't be 100% sure. Just seems like a falling back animation like you get with the Thundergun if they're to far away.
  14. The gameplay is nice. Definitely peaked my interest and does show potential. I guess my main issue is I don't want to spend $180 on one game and it's DLC. Maybe in a couple of years when it's like under $40.
  15. Did some testing earlier. The Fire Staff doesn't light up the wagons if off. The Wind Staff doesn't effect the smoke/gas coming from the pipes in Spawn/Trench Building as far as I can. Wind staff you might need to go in the robots and do something. You don't really go back in them once you have the pieces. Fire Staff I reckon is something as simple as igniting one or several objects. I think that will be the next one discovered.

  17. Well not really. I set a goal for R50 on Solo on each BO2 map. No more, no less. At that time, I do a weird challenge which usually results in my death. But if I were to make to the end of the round, I would kill myself, or just let the last zombie kill me. It's not a sign of accomplishment in my eyes. Maybe some people just don't want a down and death on their stats lol. @MMX Just take into account outside circumstances can play a part. Family emergency, called into work unexpectedly, etc. I understand and agree you shouldn't feel sorry for them (Nothing to feel sorry for, they are just playing a game they ended on their own terms usually), but there are things that no one has control over.
  18. Probably not. I only buy CoD for Zombies now, so no Infinity Ward purchases for me. I will check gameplay videos out, see if it interests me.
  19. I had this problem. Was researching and found some answers. Looks like a PS3 issue post downloading Apocalypse. It somehow corrupts MotD What you need to do is delete your game data for BO2, and the mini texture install file if you did that as well. Now it is GAME DATA, not SAVE DATA! This part is very important. Make sure not to delete the save data. After that, update to the latest patch. You'll need to download the map packs again. Do Apocalypse first, than the rest (I did Vengeance, Uprising, Revolution than Nuketown). It's a tedious process, but it will make Mob playable again.

  21. Pretty good idea. Like Samara said, it'd have to Teammate Finder should remain the exception. Also we might have to unblock the word S A L E. Because of Fire Sale and BonFire Sale.
  22. Not having a go at you Mocking, but don't you have anything positive to say about Origins? Seems like you're focusing on the negatives, exaggerating some things, and just ignoring the positives. The Easter Egg rewards were abit weird though. TranZit's is understandable, could've unlocked a Death Machine power-up and boosted buildables that last longer. Die Rise's would have been alright if it wasn't so easy to get perk bottles. A Permanent Key (or Skeleton Key) could've been added, so you could call the Elevators whenever. Mob of the Dead's was pretty unique, ending the game. I suppose for the next MOTD game or a couple, an extra Afterlife could be added, so 2 for Co-Op. Buried is permanent perks. Edwards Endgame has permanent Fire Sale and extra weapon slot. Ludvig's endgame has just the Richtofen Zombie dropping power-ups. The power-ups should've included a BonFire Sale, and weapon drops that includes the Death Machine, PPSh-41, Thundergun and either Gersch Device or Hells Retriever. Origins, the reward were just all the upgrades you get and cleared Crazy Place. But they could've awarded permanent perks, golden shovel and helmet, and Generators always stay on so no Templars attacking, and PaP costs 1000 I guess. All during the time the egg is completed but before you go into the portal.
  23. I actually really liked Origins. I think the those mini challenge things should be implemented in every map. Doesn't have to be done. But it's something you can do if you want. Honestly the only thing so far I don't like about it is the story implications. But from a gameplay view, I think it's the most exciting and fun map we've had so far.
  24. Man this spams frustrating. I swear it's increased x10. I mean, clearly it's not just bots. Actual humans now, with a copy and paste message I guess. Would an IP ban work? Seems like that is literally the only thing that would, but even than, it's not really a good thing to do, and I'm sure they'd get around it anyway. :evil:
  25. I thought Dead Ops was canon haha. There's 115, references to Cosmic Silverback in "Five", etc. I swear at one point I read somewhere from a dev that the different coloured eyes meant different types of zombies. Doesn't really make sense, but this was when Black Ops was released so I dunno. I'd have to reread it.
