Woooo go Misty! I actually love every character, not just from the N4 but all playable ones. I don't actually know why Misty is my favourite, just like I don't know why CotD is my favourite when I find my self playing other maps more. It's just something about her. Marlton, Russman and Samuel I like equally. Use to dislike Russman, because he was just bland, but he's certainly grown on me as the months have gone by.
-
I'd prefer they focus on new maps. But if they were to port them, it would most likely be Kino der Toten, Ascension, Shangri-La and Moon. Like Flammen said, licensing issues and stuff would probably prevent FIVE and CotD from appearing because of their characters. I honestly think the Easter Eggs might be a problem. Without CotD, you can't do Moon EE. Plus no one would probably do them.

Misty All I want is a cutscene with the O4 so I can see them walk and move like normal people, and move their mouths while they talk. Thanks Way. Since there aren't a lot, I might go and screen cap the rest soon.

Just want to point out a couple of things here that I've mentioned in multiple threads. 1. FEAR is in no way connected to Black Ops 2. One of the major tools used in the Cold War was to inflict fear. Since Black Ops 1 is based on the Cold War, it goes hand in hand. Nothing to do with Zombies. 2. Nuketown is not included in TEDDY because it does not have a special Story Mode like Tranzit, Die Rise, Mob of the Dead or Buried. It just has Survival. It's location is Nuketown (like Town, Skyscraper, Sunset Strip, etc), and the map is actually called Groom Lake (but it only has the one map so everyone just calls it Nuketown), like Green Run, Great Leap Forward, Alcatraz Island and Resolution 1295. TL;DR Nuketown isn't included for a reason. 3. Even if TEDDY is true, Agartha can still be map. The mode can be any name, it's just gotta end in a Y (We play on Alcatraz but its MOTD, or Baikonur Cosmodrome but its called Ascension). So with those points made, I think it's honestly alright to theorise about TEDDY, just as long as they don't include FEAR because there is literally no connection between the two.

Sweeto, I'm a big Misty fan if you couldn't tell from my avatar haha. Welcome to the site Veronica, hope you enjoy your stay. :)

This isn't about favouritism. Richtofen could have the most boring personality but it still wouldn't change anything. Also, I don't think any of us said he was good (I didn't at least). We know Richtofen is a psychopathic, crazy and bad man. But Maxis doesn't have a very pretty picture either. You don't have to have been around since WaW to see that. Point is, they're both bad, and I find Richtofen to be the lesser of two evils. We don't fully understand the outcomes for both sides yet, but we know one thing at least. That Maxis was lying, and his intentions include the earth destroyed (not directly, I imagine to get to Agartha he needs to destroy the outer layer of Earth to get to Samantha).
-
I thought the same thing. But there are so many aspects to it like the eye colour, the announcer etc. And Richtofen supposedly is put in a zombies body, the only one with blue eyes and it gives you a power up always "supposedly". Not to sure there. The easiest way I can see them do it correctly is to have the original characters return with them playing in Agartha, and the MOTD Announcer as the Announcer. That way gameplay isn't affected (say you play with a friend who had gone Maxis and you Richtofen), and only the easter egg (or parts of it) would be different. If we are to play as the N4 again, I do have trouble seeing how it can work. But I am sure Treyarch can make it work if they want to go down that path.
-
I think I was Team Maxis before, but because I've done Richtofen on Tranzit, it's just easier for me to follow through with Richtofen. Plus the blue eyes have kinda grown on me.
-
Look, Maxis is evil. His beliefs and intentions to himself might seem justified, but only to him. I'm going to quote Misty on this one. "Point is, we do it. We keep moving, we keep fighting. It's what we do. Day in, day out. If you really need a reason why we do this, I'll give you one. We do it because doing something...anything...is better than doing nothing." I would rather have a fighting chance at living, than let him wipe us out (this is technically the second time his done this) for the "greater good". HE thinks its good, but it doesn't mean it is. Also if you're going to use the perception angle, it goes both ways.

I am actually starting to think we stayed in 2011 from Call of the Dead onwards. Shangri-La we know is at least past 2000, it does fit (not saying it's definitely 2011). Moon, the same agenda with all this Russian tech, American tech, etc. The banner is the only thing that's doing me in, but someone could have a reasonable explanation for it. So that way Moon/Nuketown 2011, set up a nice date of 2025+ for the Black Ops 2 maps?

First off, I just wanna say welcome to CoDz! You have a very unique username, so I am going to call you Skremmel or just Skrem for short I noticed straight off the bat from the wikipedia page, that nearly all of the Six Realms seem to directly relate to Zombies! Demi-god realm: Samantha, Richtofen or Maxis fit into this role. Vril-Ya even perhaps? Human realm: Our beloved characters we play and interact as/with. Hungry ghost realm: Hillbilly, Zombies possibly. Boss Zombies like George, Brutus and the Thief, since they all have that one objective that they can never get, but sometimes do occasionally. Hell realm: The four mobsters, possibly even where Samantha is right now. Zombies could fit here as well, along with the bosses above ^ Now Gold realm I'm not sure. Possibly Richtofen after his Buried egg, or Maxis after his Buried egg, since they seemingly become a whole lot stronger than what they previously were. The Announcer in MOTD (Lucifer possibly?). Animal realm I could see as the zombies. But yeah, those Six Realms definitely stood out to me! The six negative emotions with each one definitely work as well. Just adding onto the karma concept, that also could revolve around the Mob of the Dead characters. Karma for their sins, which I think they actually mention. Very nice first post! I do think this is relevant, and I also think there is still much more to learn from it. Nice job Skrem. :)

I wouldn't mind seeing them return, but I imagine the location would be basic. I can't imagine them doing a Kino, with Swastikas everywhere. They can still make it work though. Have an outpost that was decimated during the war, have a building eventually built over it that is somehow relevant, and wallah, you have a very barebones Nazi Zombies map!

The Culmination of All Easter Eggs for Both Sides
Rissole25 replied to A Drunk Soviet's topic in Buried
My reaction during Richtofen's conversation at the end of his Easter egg. Saying Maxis is going away "Ah well, shouldn't of tried to backstab us" Maxis saying that he can't save Samantha "Ah crap" Saying he can possess any body he wants, particularly Samuels "oh god Ricky! but damn about Samuel" Hearing Samuels voice after Ed has trouble controlling his body "Awh Samuel!" Ed saying they'll just have to share ":D this is gonna be good" It's gonna be hilarious with Samtofen (oh wait that's already happened). Samueltofen? Stutofen? Anyway, it's going to be so funny now. I imagine he won't talk all the time cause he is still the Announcer, but still. This is gonna be great. Onto Maxis, it looks like he wants to be reunited with Samantha, but I don't understand. What happened between Moon and Buried? How can she not be contacted? It sounded like he was talking with them fine during the Moon EE? Also looks like Richtofen will be sent back to his body. If Samantha is STILL in it though, will he essentially be doing the same thing he did to Samuel? Except Samantha has more control of his body than himself? Just wow haha. What a great easter egg Treyarch! Two very different endings right here. I have no idea how this will work in the next map or in the future. What if you didn't do any Easter eggs? Perhaps the next map will infact be the O4? But who knows. -
Maxis' Plan Revealed: Who is telling the truth?
Rissole25 replied to Slade's topic in General Zombies Discussion
I mean, even before Black Ops 2, it was kinda obvious that there was something off about Maxis. You don't just destroy Earth so your enemy has "less" to play with. All of us had our suspicions about him back than, and they were finally confirmed today after nearly 2 years. I am just curious as to what the Richtofen side does, and what happens to Maxis in it. -
19TLH2sNdAA Here's a shorter version courtesy of Benn. It looks legit. But I don't think there's any point coming to a conclusion UNTIL we can get the full details. We don't know what happens to Richtofen, if Maxis is even Announcer (he may have some kind of power like "ethereal energy", on par with Richtofen), how he got to this perch, or even the results of Richtofen's easter egg!

If this is true, this is pretty big. Can someone confirm this? /Inb4everyonecalledmaxisevil

I am the same. I woke up this morning, and I see all these Buried topics with stuff already given away, and I'm slightly hating myself for coming onto the forum now. Yes, they're technically not leaks. But, it's gameplay and information released early. Something I would expect of PTG, not CoDz. Anyway, that's my opinion. I'll probably get raged against but meh. Apparently early information isn't against the CoC (even with Treyarch given people early access for that very purpose).

We gun party tonight. I am thrilled for more Turned action. I'm going to make a Turned guide soon, so this is just adding fat to the bones :)

Change in loading screen? Laziness or purposeful?
Rissole25 replied to DeathBringerZen's topic in Buried
Now, as we've seen with Ascension-Call of the Dead-Shangri-La, the pages get ripped as we go along. So, perhaps we are viewing this page before it was ripped for GLF? Perhaps a reference to the rift or time changing, or like mk9008 said, something to do with Mob of the Dead. -
That was AMAZING! Seriously, how could you not like them after that! Russman just got a whole lot better for me, plus it was actually funny. "Is Russman my first or last name" "We don't know...we only know you as Russman" :D

Sweeto, more Australians! :D

Turned all the way If not that, a Survival map added to the second tower (Dragon Tower) in Great Leap Forward that includes the rooftop and second floor. Would sorta be Verruckt 2.0 Or a Survival map added for the Docks in Alcatraz Island. You can tell that area will be added soon because the docks take up a fair amount of the map and mode selection screen.. Just matter of when and what modes for it. I also imagine (probably not with this DLC) that Golden Gate Bridge will have it's very own No Man's Land, although with a different name. Kinda like Tranzit, Die Rise, etc.
-
Oh I know. But the topic somehow got off-topic and I just wanted to make a quick response to it. Now lets try to keep the topic on the achievements. We only have a couple of days now. I am hoping the Easter Egg takes just as long to decipher like Die Rise's. The processing one may take a while to figure out.
-
I imagine the LSAT will change to the HAMR or possibly the RPD. Would just like point out that if they really wanted too, they could add these utilities to Nuketown. Not saying they will, but it has a fridge and stuff.
-
Not to change the topic or anything, but I won't believe anything from PTG and Benn. They only got MOTD right from that inside source, but that doesn't change the fact their claims about previous maps were ALL wrong. Not to say Africa isn't the place, but we have a whole world to deal with, not to mention Benns word means nothing to me. Anyway, I am actually surprised there are no achievements revolving around the RGM2 for this map.
