Naitrax brought this up the other day I think with Delta, saying how it was JFK's resting place. Though I believe they came to the conclusion that it was just a conclusion. You'd have to ask them though.

New persistent upgrade 6/28/13
Rissole25 replied to MegaAfroMan's topic in General Zombies Discussion
So I think I got the bear after two rolls in Die Rise. First was KAP 40, than I got the sparks at the M8A1. Oddly enough, I am getting crap weapons. Ballistic Knife, RPG, than Monkeys? Note this is at the boxes spawn in Die Rise. The teddy bear is appearing underneath the box if it was right side up, or sitting next to the cement bricks if that makes sense? I've heard it usually sits on top of the box, not underneath it. Anyway, out of points, so will update as I go along. EDIT: Box moved to before slide lol, can see the Teddy on top. Must be glitched at spawn, because it was upside down, but sitting underneath the box. But it was still "above" box, so they must've forgot to move lower or something. But yes, it is still at spawn nevertheless. MTAR (grabbed), Galil (replaced M8A1 because I had Mule Kick), Ballistic Knife, Ballistic Knife. EDIT2: Teddy disappeared sometime during the round, next weapon was a HAMR :| -
Cheers I think that this achievement might be about changing the fate of our characters, like when that wraith (I do not like the term "ghost") assumedly speaks to us, telling us that we will stay here forever. By re-writing history, we may be able to escape. I actually never thought of it like that. It kinda makes feel better about them being trapped or killed off, because if it means that, than they won't be haha. I have two theories on this. One is that this map seems to have a few mining references, and therefore, we might be sent to the ore processing area (maybe containing the PaP?) The second is a bit more interesting. What if this is the reverse of the Revisionist Historian achievement? What if these ARE actually the Easter Egg achievements, but there are two sides? You will still get Mined Games the first time you complete it, but when you do each side, you will get either of these? Anyway, just somehting for you to ponder. The second seems likely. I honestly have no idea what that cheevo could be other than Easter Egg related. Being the penultimate map, maybe this is the part where we stick with Maxis or Richtofen. Yeah I think maybe this time we'll definitely have to choose sides with this one, being the penultimate map of Black Ops 2. With Revolution in the title, I thought maybe it could be a reference of the first map pack. But yeah, all the map packs have names of themes related to the Campaign. Perhaps the Revolution has something to do with Buried's backstory or the town maybe? Didn't catch that one game/one shot reference so thank you for picking that up So, if it's not a perk, I reckon it could be a new Tactictal Grenade possibly.

Hey guys, Rissole here! Us PS3ers have received trophy info regarding Buried. I've done a small analysis on each achievement. I did a small video, but it's only a quick analysis/explanation. The written version is much more detailed and analyzed better, but feel free to check it out if you're in a hurry. kiAfyfW3G-U Now that that's out of the road, let's begin! Mined Games In Buried, be their pawn. Since it's the only Silver Trophy, and by it's description, I believe this is the main Easter Egg achievement. Much like Tranzit or Die Rise, the N4 do as Richtofen or Maxis say like pawns. Ectoplasmic Residue In Buried, acquire a perk for free. Take note of Ectoplasmic. That term is usually used with ghosts, specters, wraiths, poltergeists, etc, which is what our female ghost (who looks like Samantha) is. With that, defeating her in a certain way would probably get you a free perk or Random Perk Bottle. If that's the case, it's possible she is a round based enemy like the Hellhounds, the Thief, Space Monkeys and Jumping Jacks. Though she still might possibly be a always-present boss like George, Napalm & Shrieker Zombies, Cosmonaut, Him and Brutus. I'm Your Huckleberry In Buried, access all areas with the help of your new friend in one game. The giant mystery hillbilly looks to be the friend here. Somehow he can help you get to all areas. Now this may mean areas without spending points on debris or doors, or completely unique areas only accessible with our friend, much like the Turbine to the bus part rooms. Death From Below In Buried, drop the beat on 10 zombies in one game. Not really sure about this one, but it looks like it has something to do with the perk. At first I thought it could be PhD Flopper and it's Flopper ability, but now I'm not so sure. If it's the new perk, I still have no idea what it's ability is, though "drop the beat" reminds me of something music related. Candygram In Buried, make a candy delivery. We know from the The Replacers Vengeance Trailer that our mysterious friend can eat candy and sweets. This might just be like taking candy from a baby. Easy. But who knows. Awaken the Gazebo In Buried, Pack-a-Punch a weapon during round 1 with no one using the bank or Weapon Locker. Since Gazebo is capitalized, I'm getting the feeling that is the name of a person/boss. Possibly our friend, but it's way to vague. The description however lets us know that like Tranzit, and like Die Rise today, a Bank and Weapon Locker will be accesible on Buried. If this is the case, DLC 4 most likely will have the same features. Mob of the Dead most likely won't get them though, due to the vast weapon differences it has from other maps and the characters present. Revisionist Historian In Buried, rewrite history. This probably has to do with the Easter Egg. Though only Bronze, this was the case with Mob of the Dead, so we could see a repeat case here. Not to mention, Black Ops 2 Campaign is full of choices which can change the future and outcome. Since it's "Rewrite History", we're obviously doing something to change the past, whether that be big or small. Mazed and Confused In Buried, survive an entire round within the maze on round 20 or higher. A maze! This truly is like Shangri-La haha! If the requirements of the maze are to survive in it for one whole round past 20, than it must be a big maze. Whether it's a changing maze like the Mudpit Maze in Shangri-La, who knows. But it will obviously be confusing, hence the title. FSIRT Against the Wall In Buried, purchase the LSAT off the wall and Pack-a-Punch it. A LSAT on the wall. You read that write. A very powerful LMG and sought after weapon only found in Nuketown, Mob of the Dead and Grief Cell Block. Looks like it may be hidden in a secret area much like the Galvaknuckles tend to be, and it definitely won't come cheap I imagine. The usual 500/4500 ammo price will surely be higher too. When the Revolution Comes In Buried, return to processing. This one I am not really sure about. I would say Easter Egg related, but that seems like too many easter egg related achievements. It might be a room or a phrase. I have no idea about this one. Okay that is it guys! Feel free to express your opinions and thoughts on these achievements!

I like them, and I don't. Die Rise was a welcome return to round based bosses. But at the same time, it seems a little to easy mode to get Max Ammo's constantly. I think they can break trains easily, which I actually like, because it keeps the game from being repetitive and stale. I actually loved George in CotD lol. All in all, I like a healthy mix of round based bosses and full time bosses. As long as it doesn't become just one of those, I'll be happy. Gives variety between each map.

This was an interview on the CoD Elite website. Two things to note: - It can shoot through weak barriers, such as wood, thin walls, etc. - It was designed by Max Porter, designer of the original Ray Gun, the Wave Gun and the Zap Guns. Hence the Porters X2 in the name. Just some nice info :)

I'm hoping for Turned.

I think it's reasonable people look at possible anagrams. You just have to look at it the right way. FEAR has nothing to do with Zombies, that was just to do with the Campaign of Black Ops in relation to the Cold War. Nuketown does not have a game mode like Green Run, Great Leap Forward, Alcatraz Island or the new location. All it has is Survival, so it's reasonable people leave that. And it would be awesome if the letter of the last maps mode was Y. Whether it's TEDDY or not, I definetly don't think there's any relation to FEAR & TEDD_. Now if RUV_ had been something, that could've been linked to FEAR campaign wise. But it wasn't. TL;DR: FEAR is not related at all, RUV won't be anything by the looks of it. But TEDDY definetly could be a possibility.

How does the MPD come to the Moon?
Rissole25 replied to FatedTitan's topic in General Zombies Discussion
In my opinion, I think the 3 Pyramids theory is a VERY GOOD theory. But I still see it as a theory. It's not that I don't believe it, it's just the most fitting one. Could it be right? Well we won't know. But until that time, I think MMX is right to include it in his story. If it's wrong, it can always be changed remember? Yuri Kravcheski, the Maxis AI, etc. All thought to be the actual thing than it turns out later they weren't right. There are some things I don't necessarily agree with on in MMX's storyline, but I've come to accept them as being plausiable. The same goes for the Pyramids. The reasoning MMX incorporated is plausiable, along with other theories people have about them, though I haven't really seen any other theories other than that one. -
So can anyone explain it to me? Better than the original? When does it lose its 1 hit ability, etc. Also did anyone try it on Bus Depot? I imagine it will help a lot on that map.
-
The thing is though Flammen, they changed it to Moon well into Paris' development. That said, I imagine they saved and kept a basic model of the map before scrapping it. Not to mention the story implications, it can easily comeback. Fun fact, some people think that the giant crevasse with the rockets was a river for Paris.
-
I actually love it. The whole setting caught me by surprise, more so than Moon! Especially when expecting Paris or Atlantis. And I applaud 3arc for that. Now the giant hillbilly prisoner and ghost that looks like Samantha does seem a little farfetched even for Zombies. But I guess that's why we play the map first before examining it. All I can say though, is that the N4 can't/shouldn't be killed off because of stupid fan service. I will lose all hope in Zombies if they do, and blame David Vonderhaar for bringing up the idea.

Why Alcatraz is happening :: Doctor Who :: ALL 100% FACT.
Rissole25 replied to TBGxRyan's topic in Mob of the Dead
I actually remember watching that episode haha. This actually makes perfect sense and fits it well actually. But I don't think I'm seeing how Albert still survives? I mean, he died originally, shouldn't he die like the others? -
Great strategy man. So say if both spots were free, what would ideally be the better place to camp at?
-
I actually enjoyed reading this and your other Multiplayer one. I'm not the biggest MP fan, but I do like to play when I'm tired of Zombies. Gotta confess, I am one of those Snipers on Kill Confirmed. Only temporary though haha. Just need the Ballista at Gold, and I am finally done with Snipers altogether. Not my favourite playstyle, holding back and fighting from afar. But I can't quickscope or any of that fancy stuff, so it's really my only option for them.

Is Grief & Turned still affecting rank?
Rissole25 replied to DeathBringerZen's topic in General Zombies Discussion
If Turned and Grief do affect rank, I think it was changed so only Wins and Losses count. I played Turned religiously for a while, so more than half my deaths came from it. Than I randomly ranked up to Knife after a high MOTD game. I thought it was odd. I played it a lot before the changes, so I am not actually sure whether Turned never counted at all, or the Turned Wins helped get me Knife rank. -
I gotta say, it does look similar to it because of the triangle shape. But you can tell Reza (or whoever) edited the photo before inverting it. It's got an illuminance of sorts to it. Saturation, Contrast, Exposure levels look to have been edited. But I'm not gonna say it's the Eiffel Tower. The object is in the foreground, and just to blurry. It's possible it could just be a tree (which is furthered if he is holding a gun, which I'll get to in a second). It could be a person as well. For me, it's just to vague to pinpoint. But it would definetly be awesome if it was the ET. Now, the man. I can't tell if he's holding a gun or just folding his hands. If he's just folding his hands, than it's possible it could be a tourist photo with the tower in the background. If he's holding a weapon, that seems a bit weird to do that in front of the tower (though it is Zombies, so anythings possible). Altogether, I'm slightly leaning towards it being the Eiffel Tower, but not definetly.

Why so much HATE towards shotgun rank?
Rissole25 replied to Murdah4Hire's topic in General Zombies Discussion
Well hey, if there's any positive, leaving a Grief or Turned match prematurely will count as a loss, so I guess that's at least some form of punishment to the Shotgunners who leave. I said this in another thread about people who leave, and I think it can apply here. If we just had a stat that showed how many times a person has quit (quit, not finish) a game, it would really say a lot about a person. A person with a high number of quits I would definitely be worried about, since he a normal and respectable player usually finishes a match till the end, so they'd have very low quits. -
Yeah I didn't think it was anything. I just thought it was pretty cool how after all this Mars debate, the first letters of our new crews first names can be an anagram for Mars.
-
I thought you couldn't do it Split-Screen since it's the one console still. So they take away the Vril Device so you can do all the steps, but can't hook it up to the Casimir Mechanism because you have nothing to hook it up with. Same with Solo. You may have had it appear in Solo before without the Focusing Stone so it's just the rod itself, but yeah. I've just always thought they take the Vril Device in Solo and Split-Screen.
-
May be something, may be not, but it certainly is something weird. Marlton Abigail Russman Samuel MARS Pretty odd right? Someone picked this up on the ActiForums a couple months back, but there wasn't much discussion on it. Coincidence or not?

The Golden Spork and the Silver Spoon
Rissole25 replied to MysteryMachineX's topic in Mob of the Dead
And it is 3 hits at R22. So it looks like the Silver Spoon has the same damage output as the Galvaknuckles. -
I actually remember your name Dunbarian. Looks like alot of the oldies are coming. :P
-
I 100% completely agree with this. I want to know more about them, not have an unfinished crew that I know nothing about, killed off because Vonderhaar made an "unsanctioned" (his words) and stupid tweet, that is now spreading fast around the community, majority of who want them killed off. I really hope the devs do not base a decision off it because it is unfair. Of course you're not gonna have fully fledged characters out of two maps. I mean, what if they killed the O4 after Der Riese or Kino?
-
Nice Hexaposting Fated lol. I honestly don't really know. A cipher might be needed. Unlikely but Black Ops terminal could work. But it most likely is hinting at the next map, if not that, MotD.
