I really hope Tombstone dragging is possible. That way you can take it to the desired place someone wants to go. Be that the box, Juggernog, MP5k, etc.

@king of cold To be fair, a lot of people, myself included, like it when they show trailers. They show you the features and try to get you pumped at playing it. The WaW and Kino trailers achieved this perfectly. BO, eh, pumped but it could've been better. Green Run was nice, better than the Black Ops trailers. But this one, only about 5 seconds of footage. It's a disappointment, because I like to get hyped up and see some cool features the map has to offer! Also, Kino, Ascension and Moon had trailers. Dead Ops didn't really need a trailer, though I wish "Five" had gotten a trailer.

First CoD Zombie Clan-challengeTonight! - Elite
Rissole25 replied to Tjeerd's topic in General Zombies Discussion
Got about 1067 kills in my first game. I've earned at least half the bronze medal than haha! Gonna be a sinch to get the Gold. https://elite.callofduty.com//compete/c ... /view/3138 Another Zombies challenge starting on the 31st. Except it's Headshots this time. 250 for Bronze, 500 for Silver, and 1000 for Gold. It's going to be so much easier than this one though, one person could probably get the Gold in one game for the whole Clan. -
First CoD Zombie Clan-challengeTonight! - Elite

I enlisted the PS3 CoDz Clan which I didn't know I could do. I thought the admin would have to, but as soon as I hit enlist, my Elite app came with a notification saying CoDz Forum enlisted. So I assume the others got it. Don't forget to do the same thing Xbox guys. My advice guys is to get at least 1000+ kills. That should take 1 great match, or a couple of good/average matches. But we should get the gold if we do that. Actually does anyone know when the challenge ends? I know it begins in a little under 3 hours, but do the Weekly Challenges go for 24 hours or only a couple? -
Code was already there I believe. Shangri-La had moving power-ups. Well the monkeys took them, but they still moved. So did Moon on the Jumping Pads. So if there was code for Black Ops in the coding of Black Ops 2 like everyone says, than it's entirely possible that coding was used as well. Glad you wrote this Crazy, I did not actually know this.

Thanks CrazyTrain. But there are better people on this site than me haha. Nuketown 2025 ironically does not take place in 2025. This is what it says in the little Hardened Edition book. "Relive the close quarters chaos of this classic fan-favourite map re-imagined in a 1960's visionary depiction of the "model home of the future". Actually, reading that again, it could be in 2025. But why build a town which you are going to nuke, do not nuke it for 60 years, than all of a sudden decide to nuke it? I believe this was built after the original Nuketown was nuked, since there's a picture of the old Nuketown in 2025 version. Only in the original timeline though. If we are following Richtofen's timeline, than the rockets hit earth, and of course Nuketown 2025 would not have been built (seeing that the site was directly hit). There are links to Zombies in the Campaign and Multiplayer of World at War, Black Ops and Black Ops 2. However, it is a hard line when you have different timelines involved. Some say they are irrelevant, some say they are relevant. We use Multiplayer map information to find out some critical things about maps (Hangar 18, Nuketown 2025), you have Edward Richtofen books, the sticky notes. There are more clues in the Campaign though. Ultimately it's up to you decide. I believe they are all linked, but very loosely. Black Ops 2 Campaign and Multiplayer can be circumstantial since the world is normal during those. However Black Ops and World at War I believe co-incide with the events of it.

Ironically, Black Ops iOS has a replay feature for the songs. You Save & Quit after you have activated the song. After continuing the game, the song starts playing from the start immediately. I thought it was a great feature to get me back into that awesome feeling. Yet I was disappointed this was never added to the main games. Also disappointed that they didn't patch Beauty of Annihilation or The One to end properly. They just cut off. The thing is we know they can do it, by the removal of Skrillex, we know things can be changed with the music. What would be even better is if they added music to the Survial maps to make them less boring. It's possible for them to do it, but they won't. Anyway that went off-topic lol. I normally don't use the Store option anyway, so it's not a problem for me.

wii zombies wr and questions
Rissole25 replied to ThrowAmonkeyBomb's topic in General Zombies Discussion
I say go for it man. If you think you can do it, you have the time and paitence, than just do it! If you have trouble recording, at least get the last round fully showing the strategy you used. By chance, I'm guessing you're talking about the normal Wii? I don't think there's anyone on this forum with a copy of Black Ops 2 for the Wii-U, but prove me wrong if you see this Mr or Mrs Wii-U guy or gal. Good luck. -
Oh I wasn't trying to prove your theory wrong. You said no to one or all of those things he said, but they are all true. You are right and you are wrong in that the maps take place in order. The events of a map (except possibly Nacht with the second outbreak thing) of course take place in order. Going by time and date, they do not. Chronologically, if we are going by the date, it's all jumbled up. I'm using Tac's thread on the Date & Time for each map here. Of course there still isn't a definite date, but it's approximately close to it. viewtopic.php?f=100&t=11967 Going by that its: Nacht der Untoten (possibly after Verruckt) Verruckt Shi No Numa Der Riese "Five"/Ascension Moon/Nuketown Kino der Toten Green Run Shangri-La Call of the Dead If infact Green does take place in 2025, than it is moved to under Call of the Dead, making it the most recent map in time. Past Shangri-La also needs to be considered. No definite information, but it could be at the same time as Der Riese, due to the eclipse. That is only speculation though, all we know is it's in the past.

Well, it actually is a mode which is why it is in the side menu with Survival, Grief and soon Turned. I wouldn't call it story mode, because it stems past Tranzit mode. CIA and CDC, they were at Green Run and I assume Die Rise/Future DLC. Nuketown Zombies has a lot of story relevance and that doesn't have a Tranzit mode. To be honest, Zombies is essentially the same formula over and over again. You survive as long as possible with weapons, a magic box and some demonic force that gives you power-ups. Over time, it of course has added more things to spice up the gameplay, but that's because it has to, to keep the maps fresh and interesting. I mean, no one complained when Hellhounds were in for 3 consecutive maps. Cosmonaut, Napalm and George are essentially the same concept, just a few differences. No one complained about that aspect. And I don't think it will happen here if Die Rise was once again to be split up. I would not find it boring, in fact I would find it good for Tranzit mode. The only thing I would want is a different mode of transportation. The helicopter seems like a promising idea. And heck, perhaps Die Rise will consist of four to five skyscrapers, relatively close, but not connected, so it's a medium map altogether (think Call of the Dead size). The only way to travel to them is by the helicopter. I would consider this a Tranzit map, and I would not find it boring. And each of those sky scrapers is a Survival map. That would be cool concept. Having a Tranzit and Survival variants, but on a small map compared to Green Run. It can work. All I ask is to not judge it until you have played it. You never know, you could like it.

Oh wow. Trophy seems nice! I rarely see them actually, but I imagine they would be helpful with Demolition, Domination, just all the Objective based modes where you need to be at a fixed point. Would really help with grenades. Sensor Grenades I have only ever seen once on someone else. Does it have a VSAT effect though? When I threw mine, I was getting the effect of them in a small circle area of the minimap, and I was confused as to if that was an effect or not?

Nope... Because Five happens at the same time as Assension, and one quote from richtofen says: We must have gone too far into da future in COTD, the map after Assension... Um, Sparse is still right. Yeah, Ascension and "Five" happen at the same time. But so do Moon and Nuketown. There's no denying that. Not a continuity error. Richtofen did those things. Call of the Dead and Shangri-La don't happen in Richtofen's timeline. Just remember, everytime he time-travelled, especially to the past, it created a new timeline. For the current timeline from Moon/Nuketown onwards, Richtofen was in control. Only in this timeline though. The Call of the Dead timeline still exists, we just don't view it's events. We know that the three missiles never hit in that timeline though, because Richtofen doesn't have his tools yet. Basically, everything happened to Richtofen because we're following HIS journey. There could've been a timeline we're Takeo steals the Vril Generator, swaps bodies with Sam and does nothing at all. But we aren't following it. That doesn't mean it didn't happen in another timeline though, along with an infinite range of possibilites. It's why I believe Nuketown/Moon to be the 60's. For Green Run, I don't know. I'm thinking 80's, but there isn't clear cut evidence to suggest a DEFINITE time on for him.

Just have a look at the shadows and light on Misty. The way they're angled. Now have a look at the light and shadows for the rest of the picture. Particularly the building behind her. The light on her should be on the left of her, not on the right. Not to mention both her breasts wouldn't be lit, maybe only partially. This goes for her face as well, which shouldn't have that light at the way she is facing, and where the sun is. This is one of the few things that make her 'stand' out, quite literally. She looks fake in it because someone placed her right in. The moon looks so fake honestly, I swear I've seen it on Google Images. The Juggernog Perk Machine looks like it was taken directly from in game and pasted there. If this was a concept image, it would've been drawn. My main point though is the lighting of her and the background. It just does not work. Compile this with the other evidence and what everyone else has found, and you've got yourself a fake photo.

Rickety, it might not be as big as Green Run, but it most certainly will be a Tranzit mode along with smaller Survival maps. Treyarch (and most definitely Activision) would not create a new mode just for one map. We will all find out next week. But buildables and the T4 guarantee a Tranzit map in my opinion.
-
From my knowlegldge, it means conflicting NAT Types. But don't count me on that.
-
Glad to see you're doing this for BO2. As for 8 players, I know at least 16 spawn in Round 1. Do you know if there truly are 48 zombies on the map at once in Tranzit mode? Just seems like the usual 24.
-
I guess you can't please everyone. However don't state it like its fact. Majority of people like it, but I respect your opinion. Just note that the game has only been out 2 months, you only have access to two maps (one of you don't have Nuketown), because DLC hasn't even been dropped. 1. It's not like you don't have access to the Galil anyway. I quite like the MTAR (I call it the new Commando) you always have the FAL as well which seems stronger since Black Ops. 2. True, while its not a true Wonder Weapon, it still has the qualities of one. If your really taxing on it, consider the Ray Gun the WW of Green Run and Nuketown, like it was in Nacht der Untoten and Verruckt. 3. Give them a chance. You've only had one map with them. The same thing was said in Shi No Numa, just because of how one sided and stereotypical they were. Now look at them! 4. You could use those 'sucky' Assualt Rifles for a challenge? Don't forget Custom options. 5. Which is why you should learn to use it properly. Using the riochett to your advantage. 6. There's only one Easter egg, so you can't really judge it. There could've been smaller eggs like in Der Riese though. 7. Agree it was a ripoff, but no on the Black Ops maps. I can just play the old games if I want them. Not to mention I'm not spending $75+ on getting Verruckt a third time. 8. I think that's more nostalgia than anything. I quite like what Richtofen says in Grief. It's chilling for me. Not to mention you've only had him for a map, and half of two maps, so really two maps altogether. 9. Agreed. Just a carbon copy from the respective Tranzit, with no unique EE, music, dialogue or character personality. 10. That's not the point. Your goal in Survival is to last with just 4 players. With Grief, that concept still applies, except it's 8 players, and ultimately only one team can win. It's my latest obsession in this game. 11. Would that excuse their "suckiness" though? They have had that same look all the time. 12. Tranzit mode is essentially Survival now, on a much larger scale. You still have Nuketown though, or you could go back to Black Ops? 13. Hellhounds attack fine for me when I apply them in Custom. 14. True to some degree. The fog was cool at first, now just overkill. Bus is a nice gimmick though. 15. You can still find hidden audio around the map though, like the TV in Farm. I'm honestly not having a go at you. I'm just stating what I think to your points. And I think a lot of this could be resolved if you did challenges. Not to mention you can always the old game for those old needs if you have to.

Good to see this is being brought up again. Shapeshifter brought this up late November, but it didn't get much exposure. Not to mention the two people who posted wrote it off as being lazy. viewtopic.php?f=99&t=25428 I do have a nagging feeling it is laziness, but I also have the feeling that it is something more. Similar to Hangar 18 in Black Ops.

It destroys Hunter Killers? That's pretty lucky, I mean it seems like you'd have to throw before it even targets you, than get lucky that it goes off when it's near you. Still, the explosion would damage I imagine. Also I don't think drones are hackable. I don't think they pop up red with Engineering, same with RC-XD. I'm inclined to agree. EMPs just seem more useful in more situations than Black Hat does. Can someone tell me what Sensor Grenades and Trophy Systems do? The descriptions are a bit vague to me. I've used them in game as well, and I just did not know how to use them...

Official Ranking System Discussion and Theories
Rissole25 replied to way2g00d's topic in General Zombies Discussion
I'd like to point out something that occurred to me a few days back. So I'd taken a break, so I was on 1 strike. Did a 36 on Green Run, and I of course got the 2nd strike. The next day I only played MP. No zombies. So I should only have 1 strike. But I didn't. I played Zombies the following day, surprised to see 2 strikes. At the end of the day, I was still 2 strikes (the emblem update time had already been, so I should've been 3). I can only think it glitched out, in that when it was meant to be 1 strike, it truly was, but it showed 2. So the next day when it supposedly stayed at 2, it really updated to 2 from 1, -
The 4 player one, do they have to be active CoDz users? I could probably get that, but I don't think the others would be able to post confirmation because it was just a one off post, or there not that active.
-
I thought that as well, but the clock only has 3, 2, 1 and 0. Very nice find Telixion. I'm glad the clock and counter have some use. But I feel like there is more to the clock and counter than a simple easter egg song. A bit disappointed it's another Moon song. I suppose they REALLY want to establish that the two are connected. But they so easily could've had an EE song. Carry On would've been nice, or even and duet with Clark and Elena to show the change between Samanatha and Edward.
-
These rewards would have been good for completing the EE.
Rissole25 replied to Freaklancer's topic in TranZit
Pretty good rewards, I was actually thinking the fog removal could've been the reward for a while. But I realize it reveals too much of the map, especially areas not fully covered/bad quality texture. I would only make the rewards for that game only though. If you had those every game you played, it would be far to easy. Make it like the Shangri-La and Moon EE's, where you have to work for them every time you play. -
It can't be shot down, just like the SR-71 Blackbird. The only way to counter it is with Counter UAV's or EMP (Scorestreak).
-
I am surprised no one has mentioned the AK74u spot outside the Power Station. That place rocks for me, fairly easy to create hoards and circles. It's a semi big area, but enough to do a whole hoard. When the bus isn't there, you have even more room. But honorable mention to outside Farm though. The PaP'd Remington owns there, especially with Double Tap 2. Your also making more money than your spending it on it's ammo which is good.
