There's something wrong with the Earth!
Rissole25 replied to Rissole25's topic in General Zombies Discussion
Waffles I think you misinterpreted the picture. It's what's believed Pangaea looked like millions of years ago, before the continents drifted apart. But still, it doesn't take away the interesting question of where the lands seperated too after the nukes. Well that is IF they will separate. Fu453 created a discussion about where the rockets hit. He's managed to put the earth texture and the destroyed overlay texture in the right position to how it is on Moon. And his thread: Discussion & Evidence of where the rockets hit! In regards to familiar continents, I think I can see something similar to Africa South-south East of the center. And that looks like part of the impact zone according to Fu453's picture. I think I also see Asia and also possibly a bit of Europe (Eurasia? ) on the western land. However I'm unsure on this one. -
Don't worry MMX, you can expect me to try all the solo ones, and maybe the co-op ones. Just need a new labtop so I can begin recording. As for people not showing interest, I guess it is off-season. Surely it'll pick up once BO2 is released, however you'll definitely need to edit the list greatly, depending on the new things introduced.

Wonder Attachment Machine (WAM)
Rissole25 replied to deathb4di2h0nor's topic in General Zombies Discussion
I'm surprised this hasn't got much attention, or that I didn't discover it sooner. I actually really do like this idea. Perhaps maybe a few tweaks here and there, but seems pretty awesome and unique! I remember back during the Call of the Dead trailer, everyone thought there was going to be an Attachment Machine. The attachments you came up with are very creative, however like I said I think they would need some small adjustments to them and than they'd be fine. I would like it if there were more variety though than just those 6. Such as all the attachments from Multiplayer, plus some more new unique ones. Than, I think I'd want it to work on the Mystery Box mechanics. In that you cannot choose the attachment, and it is random what you get. It adds more fun and suspense if you don't get the one you want So because it's working on Mystery Box's mechanics, the higher tier attachments like the KM11RV-GOAT (VR11 Masterkey), would have a lesser chance to be randomly chosen than say a normal Masterkey or ACOG Scope. Just like Wonder Weapons have a lower chance of coming out of the box than normal weapons, like an L96A1. Anyway, great idea! -

Your representation of definite land is probably closer than mine Milo haha! I just think I assume there's land in certain spots because there's a dark patch there. And yeah, they've put a lot of shallow seas in their earth. Just by looking at it, you can tell a lot of work went into designing this, so it's no mishap by Treyarch. I'm sure of that. MMX, I'm thinking something similar to that as well. You know, maybe it is what the world looks like in 2025? Highly unlikely, but stranger things have happened before. Even though I'm sure Treyarch haven't goofed-up, I still get that feeling that they could've. I mean, we all saw what happened with the second earth on Area 51. Poor placement of the Hangar 18 building still couldn't hide it from us. But I just really hope a reasonable explanation is given as to it's appearance. And that marks my 1000th post! ;) -
Cheers man. And yeah it's always good to check out the Multiplayer maps for things that we might've skipped over or even thought were irrelevant, as well as going back over the Zombie maps. I think the most recent discovery was either Tac noticing the poster in Der Riese didn't say K. Blondi, but said K. Blome, tying him into the story even further. Or it was your discovery in World at War with that hidden message from Treyarch about Infinity Ward. And they had been there for what, 3-4 years without them being discovered? Hopefully Treyarch expand on Group 601 even further with Black Ops 2. :D

There's something wrong with the Earth!
Rissole25 replied to Rissole25's topic in General Zombies Discussion
Right, sorry. You didn't give enough information as to what part you were talking about, which is why I kept asking. But I'm confident there is landmass there. The top right is no doubt landmass. Top left, you can see some dark shades which I believe is more landmass (as the clouds are all white), top middle is a little sketchy, but there are some parts that are the same colour as the top right land, which is why I put it as land. Bottom right, I already explained. The possible land one's I only put on because it's to dark to tell, but there's some interesting shapes there so I don't know about them. I actually did read that. There were some theories on here which I can't seem to find, but I don't think that one was said. It does seem to fit at first, but when you think about it, it doesn't really make sense. I mean, what's causing the American MDT, and essentially the Der Riese MDT to time-travel backwards millions of years onto the Moon? Not to mention, sending up the rockets millions of years ago would've caused a paradox. Plus Area 51 has the after-explosion, and that's at least after the 60's. -

Rissole25 replied to Rissole25's topic in General Zombies Discussion
Which part? Up top is definitely land mass albeit a little scattered, and down bottom right is definitely some because there is a small ocean/sea (a light blue part), that stands out in the darker parts. Anyway, regardless of whether it is clouds or not, there's no denying that it's not geographically correct to our earth. -

Which area specifically? I know there are, but do you mean as in you see clouds instead of a landmass? The parts marked definite land do have land there as I made sure. -
So before I begin, I'd like to thank Fu for creating a thread regarding the Moon textures, and cjdog for delivering the textures to him. As well as Tac, Bus and Mac for the discussion. Bear with me, I know that you've all probably heard this before, but now with the actual textures of the earth, it needs to be discussed. I was looking at the overlay's of the Earth itself, the one's Fu had asked for and cjdog had delievered. Specifically the one before it's destruction/before the overlay is added. Obviously something just seems off about it. The land mass is somewhat recognizable, but not completely. I brought this up with Tac, Mac and Bus, and discovered that there is more land. I edited the texture to show the land up top and down below more easily. Now that you can see the land more clearly, it's obvious now. This earth's landmasses are different to those on our actual earth. With the revealing of land up top and down bottom, they've got a darkish-greenish tinge to them, suggesting bushland and tropical area's. If this was like our earth, we should notably be able to see the Arctic and the Antarctic. The cloud cover could possibly be disguising and camouflaging them, but I don't believe that due to how the land is up top and down below. So I believe this isn't our earth...of today at least. Some people say it might be Pangaea, which if you don't know, was what the land was called when all land was joined as one, millions of years ago. However, there just seems to be TOO MUCH landmass to say it is Pangaea. One could argue that this is when Pangaea was splitting up, but even so, you put all the landmass back together, it would be to big to be Pangaea. Not to mention that we know Moon takes place after 1950-60+. Area 51 didn't exist on Pangaea, so that doesn't work either. So what else do we have? It's not geographically correct to our world or Pangaea, so could Treyarch have mucked up? That was my next thought... But surprisingly, the answer is NO! Why? Because if you look closely at the original texture and the two edited parts, you'll notice light blue areas in the sea close to the land in many areas. These are essentially small oceans/seas. I'm not sure if that is what you'd call them, but if you don't know what I'm talking about, here is a real life example. http://www.nuqudy.com/ArticleImages/Size1/HormuzStraitSatellitePhoto.jpg The light blue part up top and bottom left is what I'm talking about. You can see those in the textures. But how does that show that Treyarch didn't muck up? Well it shows that they put a lot of detail into designing these. Detail that we would not see through the scope of an L96A1 or by even no-clipping. If they had put this much detail into it, than surely they would've realized that they've designed it wrong. Unless they designed it like that... But why? Well that's what I want to discuss, as well as whether you think they've designed it differently, or I'm just seeing things. TL;DR. The earth they designed is geographically incorrect to our earth. It also cannot be Pangaea. But Treyarch haven't stuffed up either, as the texture has to much detail to be an overlook. Which means they possibly could've designed it like that on purpose.

CoD Zombies: Weapons manual (Unfinished*)
Rissole25 replied to MegaAfroMan's topic in General Zombies Discussion
Been looking forward to this dude! Very informative with the Pistols so far. I never realized that Calamity and Jane had that much killing potential! I knew they were strong, but I don't really use them because of the inability to aim, because of recoil. However, Deadshot Daiquiri should take care of that problem, so I guess I'll start using them more often now! Anyway, great job so far! Even if you haven't finished it yet, I can tell this will be more than fantastic once it's completed. Definitely deserves a sticky, if not now, at least when it's completed. Looking forward to the Equipment and Grenades section. Oh, and if you ever want any help with anything, just send a PM my way. :P -
Awh! Just a tad bit cute. You're officially CoDz' first couple! I'm sure Jolteon has told you everything about the site Flareon, but welcome to CoDz! Seeing as your into writing, I'm sure you'll feel at home in the Zombie Stories section. But hey, if you ever want to further your knowledge about the mythos of Nazi Zombies, check out the Story & Theory's section. And if you want to revise the training that Jolteon's given you, check out the Gameplay & Strategies section for some great help! Lastly, if you just want to chill and chat with fellow members, you've got the Member's Lounge, and it's cousin, Off-Topic! :P

Lol Tankeo, not everyone has a 360, and not everyone can afford a mic. Just saying. That said, that actually seems like a pretty cool idea! And I can see it being implemented. However, if you're a good listener, you should be able to hear the zombies coming, as well as the timing it'll take for them to reach you. And don't forget you can always revive the person while looking towards the direction the horde is coming from.

Tac, the dagger is just a coincidence I'm certain. It's the same case with the 'symbol' in the Der Riese. Just borrowed your picture Liam. Ta' It's just a texture, however it's been reversed in these instances, creating a mirror effect. You can even see a 'line' between the two to indicate where it starts mirroring. It's symmetrical all along it, not just the dagger and the symbol. Lol, just saw my old reply. I still hold true to it being a 935 creation, but I'm uncertain of who though. It's linked with the Wave/Zap Guns, that's for sure. The 87 could be some form of signature, but it could be by either one person or a small group of people.

I'm pretty sure there is one step where the time is much shorter than every other step. I think it's placing the dynamite behind PaP, I'm not sure. I do know it was one of the later steps though. And when I say shorter, I mean about a minute or so before it changes back.

Ascension after the events of Blops II zombies?
Rissole25 replied to Poppymelt's topic in General Zombies Discussion
When Takeo sees the Mine Cart, he says "It's no Lunar Lander, but it will suffice". Also, it's just a gap between Kino and Ascension, much like Shangri-La and Moon. Something happened between than, we just don't know what it was. But it's not any of the other maps. -
Hey man! Well the PVR is up and running, however I need to get a new computer for the program to work properly. I should be getting it real soon though! I've been practicing alot, and I think I am ready for it. However, I'm going to wait till a 3-4 day weekend arises before I attempt it though.
-
I'm pretty sure that's happened to me once, but I'm pretty sure a hotfix was released were you die instantly, just like diving into an excavator with Quick Revive will still kill you. I've dived off the cliff with Quick Revive countless times to know you die right away.

What do you wanna see return?
Rissole25 replied to Edwantsyourhead!'s topic in General Zombies Discussion
WaW Mystery Box, BO Mystery Box, Hellhounds, Pentagon Thief, Bon-Fire Sale, Winter's Howl, Scavenger, V-R11, 31-79 jgb215, Matroyshka Dolls and Turret Traps. Also every second map, I wouldn't mind them switching between a boss round and no boss rounds. Adds diversity, and everyone's happy. Yeah, I like things that are under-appreciated. ;) -
The thing is, sure, the 10 WaW and BO maps sound good, but honestly, I would prefer new maps over them. Don't get me wrong, I love them and wouldn't say no to their inclusion. But if I had the choice for more new maps at the expense of adding the old ones, I would want more new ones. I can just play Black Ops if I wanted to play the others. Wasn't really the point, but I felt I had to say that haha. Anyway, I definitely agree that games should be a lot more smoother now because of the move. A lot more features should be added too because of the change, such as Overall Statistics. I would love that, and I see it very likely that it'll be added. Contracts would add some diversity and change if they added them for Zombies. It would be very interesting to see how they do that one. And lastly, Theater Mode. It's probably unlikely it would be added, considering MP games only went for about 10 minutes. But hell, even a 10 minute limit for a Zombies Theater Mode would be nice! Back to the point about the 10 maps. I don't think they'd add them right away. They might include one or two of them right away, along with the new ones. But I don't see them all being added right away. With the likely inclusion of Elite, plus 360 getting DLC first, I could see them adding in one or two of the old maps for free with each Content Drop or Collection. However, that's not taking into account the Hardened and Prestige editions. I could actually see one of those coming with half, if not all the WaW and BO maps. I guess we'll just have to wait and see. ;)

"I'm gonna buy one of these for my 5 year old once this shits over" He doesn't state the child's gender. So it could be the chick on the poster, but than again it might not be. He, she, we just don't know at this point. My honest opinion is that she is a completely new character we've yet to meet or hear about, yet she'll be one of the new characters we'll be playing as. Her story and her involvement in the Nazi Zombies storyline will be interesting. But let's not forget; Dempsey's child could appear in the 2025 time-frame. With time-travel involved, it's hard to say what Treyarch will do, what and who they'll include. There are many unseen elements in Nazi Zombies that we aren't aware of yet, so anythings possible.
-
I've been thinking about this ever since it was announced that we'll be getting double the amount of zombies. Simply put, all the maps from World at War and Black Ops, were not meant to have any more zombies than there already are, with the possible exceptions of some Black Ops maps. Nacht der Untoten would not work with 48+ zombies in it, as would Zombie Verruckt and so on. While it might work on Moon, it would still severely affect gameplay and strategy. I've always figured they would not include them for those reasons. Because they weren't built for 48+ zombies. Although I have done some thinking about it, and it is still possible for them to include these maps. How do you think Treyarch will deal with these maps? Do you think they'll add them in? And if so, how do you think they'll overcome this problem? I think it's very possible that if they were to include them, that they would put a cap on the amount of zombies to 24, like it always has. Just because it has the ability to have more, doesn't mean it should or it has too. With that said, it's also possible they may even keep the 24 zombie cap for Classic Mode (WaW/BO style) in Black Ops 2, as to give it the same feel. Perhaps the 48+ zombies is for many different game modes involving more than 4 players?

aTiU_2UJgQg He starts talking about Zombies at 1:20. Here's what he says word-for-word. "I just had a question come up on the crawl. Uh, 'will the Zombies be connected to the Single Game Player?' Um, I do know the answer to that, and I am not allowed to say. But I do know that in Multiplayer, you can play with 8 guys now. So , and I can tell you that, the setup of Zombies..they have expanded this, in a very unique way. So, that's all I can tell ya. I'm not really sure what I make of this. I assume 'Single Game Player' is the campaign. He isn't allowed to reveal anything, which makes me wonder that there might be some truth to the Zombies Campaign but not in the way we all think. However I won't take it any farther than that so as not to expect anything. We don't know anything yet. When he talks about Multiplayer, I think he is talking about Co-Op in Zombies. It was revealed we can play with 8 people now, plus, he wouldn't be talking about the actual multiplayer since we've been able to play with 16 people for long time on that now. So basically he's just establishing there is 8 players. When he talks about the 'setup', and how it's been 'expanded in a unique way', I'm not really sure what he's on about. Is he talking about the development of it? The setup menu's when picking a map? Not really enough detail to be sure of what his talking about here, so leave your thoughts about it. Oh, and here are some replies done by Mr Burns Pretty sure the bottom one is him joking around, I think haha.

Round Two: The Redefined Master Zombies Guide?
Rissole25 replied to Ehjookayted's topic in General Zombies Discussion
No worries Eye. Just didn't know, but I see you've got under control. Happy to hear and hope it all goes smoothly. Just try and get it out before BO2. It'll have a much bigger effect that way. ;)
