I'm thinking that as well. My friend and I were trying to get into a match, but since our NAT types are different, the only way we can connect is if we can get into the same lobby, or someone else hosts. I tried numerous times join him through the Friends Online menu but it never worked. Only stuck on the loading screen or for some reason my username would disappear from the list on the side. What I'm thinking is that it was a delayed thing possibly? We tried doing this about 30 mins before I joined this guys match. So my friend might've joined this guys public match or something and he was host, I tried joining when he was host and somehow it's been delayed and I somehow ended up joining way later. This is the only reason I can think of, and even than it seems unlikely or a long shot.

Alright so I wasn't really sure where this would belong, so I thought Black Ops was suitable. Anyway, today I was searching for a game of Moon after just getting out of one on it. So while it's searching, I decide to look through my unread messages. I hear the sound that plays when you get in a lobby and get out of the XMB menu. This is where it gets wierd. I was in a Private Match lobby of some random who I didn't know. Didn't recall ever playing him, and he wasn't a friend of mine. The thing is was that Moon was the map that he had selected. He messages me and asks 'who the hell I am', and I explain what happened. Anyway we do a couple of matches, add each other as friends and yea. But what I want to know is how did I get into a Private Match with a random when I was searching for a Public Match? The only way to join someone's private match if they're not your friend is if they invite you, and he didn't do that. He wasn't my friend either, so I couldn't of pressed [ ] (Square) in the friends online menu to join him. Any ideas? I have one theory that could've made it possible, but it's a long shot and is very unlikely the cause of it. I'll explain it once I hear from others.

They are, but the "Big Bang Theory" achievement is not on PS3, whereas "Cyrogenic Slumber Party" is. It's a silver trophy for us. I really hate how Playstation seems to get neglected, just because of this stupid contract. Activision really are greedy. Hopefully when it ends, maybe they'll do a contract with Sony? Or Treyarch will leave Activision so they don't have to be under it, although I don't think they could make any more Zombies or Call of Duty games because Activision owns the brand I think.

There are 3 "Return Through Aether" drawings in Der Riese. - One on the wall ahead of you as soon as you go up the stairs in the Thompson room. (The first pic) - One on the wall in between the Mystery Box spawn and Trap switch. (The second pic) - One on the wall next to the door that leads to Teleporter Z-A. Since there is 3, and they are somewhat near a different teleporter, could they be referring to each teleporter? Like Zombieofthedead said above?

You have to move the orb twice remember? After Richtofen and her have swapped souls. Her exact quote I believe is "Go egg, go!". I don't believe there is a Solo EE. It's just going to turn into another Ascension thing, where everyone thought there was another part to it after the 90s DM's, but there wasn't. If a Solo EE exists, it would've been found, same with Shangri-La. Now Treyarch could've easily made a Solo EE work. Infinite revives? Easily just disable QR once you've gone down 3 times. If you have all the perks in CotD, and you've used QR 3 times, you won't get it again from George in a Random Perk Bottle. They could've easily scripted something like this. And really, it's possible to get all 8 perks in Solo. Just be lucky enough to get a RPB from the launch pads.

It's Skype. Maxis is just on another part of Griffin Station. I wonder what there usernames are? Naaah, but all seriousness, I think he's in the computer but I'm not sure how. Spirit maybe? We won't know. But I think it's a recording that plays after they switch souls, however I'm not sure whether laugh after you do blow up earth is a recording or he's actually there. He says you can free him if you do this so...maybe we freed him as well?

Lets see...if it is a glitch, I can kinda see why. - Him walking backwards and swinging his arms? That seems like the animation of a normal zombie getting pulled back into it, although not as fast. But he has to make contact with it doesn't he? - The fast speed? The game thinks it's a normal zombie, since he isn't meant to be attracted to or go through the Gersch Device anyway, but since he does, the game thinks that. If George Romero were to go through it, I'm thinking he would act the same. What makes him go through it, or makes him attracted, I don't know. It might be a random bug that occurs, or maybe something we do that changes the coding (not intentionally though). But I also think it isn't. Seeing as it happens too often, hasn't been addressed or fixed by Treyarch, it just seems intentional, like a little joke or tribute they put in for Michael Jackson. I mean they are on the Moon, he did the 'moonwalk', and now this Cosmonaut is doing moonwalks on the moon. I do definitely think the waving dancing thing he does is a glitch. Although, it seems like a unique animation, but you can easily tell it loops over and over, and that he's not meant to do that. He goes back to normal as soon as you go to Area 51. We were all by the pyramid when I threw it. There was a GD active about 10 seconds before hand but he wasn't running backwards than. The QED didn't do anything except anger him.
-
I've thrown a QED at him and it's caused him to do the moonwalk. I'm on the fence whether it's glitch or not.

If anything, it's overpowered. - Ignores player (longer in PaP). This gives time to revive a downed player, because they are ignoring the person that was shot with it. - Makeshift Monkey Bomb. (attracts George when PaP'd) Again, this can be used to revive a teammate if used right. However, the main feature of it is just to get the zombies away (and George if PaP'd). However, the person has to be closest to the zombies for it to work. They will only go for the person if a zombie is closer to them than you or a teammate. - Calms George if angered, but only for about 10-15 secs. If you are stuck in a small area, or George has cornered you and he's angered, death is almost certain. However, you can calm him, make a quick getaway if possible before he becomes angered again. - Gives Instakill (PaP) When Pack-a-Punched, and shot at a teammate, they gain an Instakill effect for a short while. Useful for long rounds, and in case you become stuck, or need to help someone. - Returns George into the water (PaP) If George is shot in the water with the Lazarus, than he goes back under. He returns after a while, but stays there for about the length of a round at around Round 16. - Explodes a zombie in 3 shots (PaP) Not really used for this, only to get the trophy/achievement, but if need be, you can shoot a zombie 3 times to kill it. And can be used in conjunction with other weapons. For example, you shoot someone with the V-R11 to attract a horde of zombies, and than you quickly shoot them with the Scavenger. If lucky, they will still be following the human, and be caught in it's Scavenger blast, killing them. So yea, it's not underpowered, but underrated. It's suited more for Co-Op games than Solo games. If they were to include it in future maps, I'd imagine it would do something to the sub bosses (Hellhounds, Napalm Zombie, Gas/Phasing Zombies, etc).

Oh I agree that it was the Illuminati. But we know abit more about Maxis though. - Samantha's mother died. We assume Maxis and her were husband and wife. Reasons for her death are unknown, but it forced Maxis to keep Samantha close. - He had an attraction towards Sophia, one of the things that contributed to Edward wanting to kill Maxis. (It kept the DG-2 from production) - There's a possibility that he was Brock in Shangri-La. There's evidence to suggest for and against this. If this true, than it's possible there has been a time rift. Samantha went straight to Griffin Station, but Maxis didn't. He may have spent a long time in the place he teleported to. Weeks, Months, etc. But once he was teleported back by Groph, it had really only been a short while. What was months, years, etc to Maxis could've been minutes, hours, etc, to Groph. Again this is only a theory. - If Maxis knew of Vril, than I'm certain he knew of Hollow Earth, Thule, etc. The fact he knows about Aether makes it seem he knows about. And if he is indeed Brock, who was searching for the gateway to Agartha, than it's likely he does.

The note was written in Illuminati, something Maxis probably wouldn't of understood. I think Richtofen had the note, and just dropped it or threw it away, landing in the drain. Don't think it was planted there. I think I've got what you've written, but I might be mistaken on some parts. Evidence to suggest why it's not Samantha: - Samantha is not tied to the Illuminati, and wouldn't know it. - The main point. She wouldn't want her father dead. Even after Maxis blows up the earth, she has various quotes where she misses him, loves him, and wants to get revenge on Richtofen for taking him away. Why would she help her enemy kill her father? - She can't really plant anything while in the Aether. Only really command others to do it. - If she fast forwarded, to after Maxis blew up earth, wouldn't she technically be in Richtofen's body, and Richtofen be in her body? I don't think she has those powers anymore while in Richtofen's body. - If she was still in Aether though, and after Maxis blew up the earth, Richtofen would be too. Therefore, two Samantha's exist right now, or no-ones in Richtofen's body, so it would be a lifeless body. But that's not the point. If she found a way to go back through time to Shi No Numa or Der Riese, than Richtofen would as well, creating a whole new bunch of possibilities. - Richtofen wasn't on the Moon when the situation happened. Only Groph, Shuster, Maxis, and Samantha were there. We presume Maxis was shot by Groph, so he was killed than. - I don't think Maxis has been watching us. He would have to be in the Aether, and he wasn't. - When Maxis says to do this after Ed swaps souls with Sam, it sounds like a recording, so it sounded like it was a fail safe in case Richtofen ever managed to get into Aether. How he managed to make one, or even no about the M.P.D. before the Der Riese incident, I do not know. However, Maxis laugh at the end makes it seem like he is there than. The last sentence you said is basically true, except Maxis didn't do it because Richtofen killed him. It was just incase Richtofen ever managed to get inside Aether to control zombies, so that it would minimize the damage Richtofen would eventually cause. However this brings to light new questions: - How much did Maxis know about the Aether? He obviously new much about it if he knew Samantha could kill 935. - How did he figure out Richtofen's plan? (if it was a recording) And if he did know it, why didn't he stop or fire him before the Der Riese incident? - Were Maxis true intentions to minimize Richtofen's damage when he blew up the earth, or something else, like to gain access to Hollow Earth? - It seems Groph and Schuster were in on the Illuminati, or Richtofen's plan to kill Maxis. Did they know anything else? any many, many more. I think there's too much evidence to suggest she is the one who planted the note. But if there was no evidence to suggest otherwise, it seems like an alright theory.

Like Zaptn. said, it most likely uses Vril to power it, hence the name.

Great guide! You explain it so easily that anyone could understand. The use of videos also helps. I myself have only gotten around 41 kills. I can never have enough for PaP, and I always stuff up knifing the crawlers, but this guide should help me heaps. Well Done! :)

There's nothing you can really do it about it. For a while for me, Tunnel 6 never breached, or it did it REALLY late in the game. However, in recent matches for me, Tunnel 6 always seems to breach first, or a couple of minutes or so after the power turns on. It would be good if what your actions decided what gets breached, like opening a certain door or turning on the power straight away, etc. It's all just a waiting game really :/ Than it gets annoying trying to get the Wave Gun if you don't already have it. Couple that with QED's and Gersch's to get and it can be easily as long as wait.

Wonder if the new secret achievement that came with the mule kick machines has anything to do with this. Has anyone figured out what that new achievement is yet? Umm what achievement? Yea what achievement? Where does it appear? Wouldn't you have to update the game to add new achievements? I'm on PS3 and I didn't have to update for Mule Kick to appear.
-
It would be all 8 perks now, with Mule Kick being added. Aim for headshots as well. Does more damage. Also use your Death Machines against him instead of zombies. It'll save your ammo and does quite a bit of damage to him. Snipers, Shotguns and Explosives are pretty good to use as well. Dealing with him every time can get annoying though, so once all 8 perks have been acquired, you should get the VR-11 and Pack-a-Punch it to deal with him if you don't want him around. Stays in the water the majority of the round, if not all of it. So you use it once a round, 24 shots max, 24 rounds, you'll definitely would have had a Max Ammo by than, so you'll never run out of ammo for it.

Der Riese Missing Zombie? how did we miss him?
Rissole25 replied to fraztheman's topic in Classic Maps
When you say coming through the wall, did he physically go through it? Or did you just see it come from that area? I had a game in Kino, Round 16. All zombies were dead, except we could hear a Gas Zombie. Checked all around the map and couldn't find it anywhere. It was loudest in the lobby/spawn room, so I deduced it was there. I realized it must've glitched out, and being a Gas Zombie, it would be on the roof. Shot every where on the roof but didn't hit it once. We all left because we couldn't find it. A glitch seems to occur sometimes where the zombie will act like it's not behind a window and start trying to attack you from behind the window, and never break out. In your case, this may have happened, and when you were far away from him or when it didn't get a hit in, it died and respawned somewhere else, properly breaking out this time. -
I only find it dumb storyline-wise. Gameplay-wise though I like it! Adds variety and something new to the old maps. New strategies! However I do think they should've left Nacht der Untoten untouched no matter what.

Official Mule Kick Map Locations.
Rissole25 replied to AlphaSnake's topic in General Zombies Discussion
Thanks Alpha! Ah man I like to stand in that spot in Verruckt. Do you think they will change Verruckt's loading screen to show Mule Kick and it's location? -
It's been added to every map. However with this new inclusion, they may have added new things. Not just to this map, but to all maps. The searching is back on my friends! :)

A greater threat than Richtofen?
Rissole25 replied to Rissole25's topic in General Zombies Discussion
I thought she had his frame of mind. Her quotes are to much like his. Like eating livers and such. I'm not sure if it's a part of it, but I swear I heard Richtofen say something like "username: teddy, password: is a liar". I think he said it during the part where you talk to Maxis on the computer, or he either said it randomly, I can't remember. I actually tried it on the Der Riese server on the terminal to see if it yielded any results, however nothing came up. But I may have written it wrong, so you never know. -
A greater threat than Richtofen?
Rissole25 replied to Rissole25's topic in General Zombies Discussion
Oh my god. I'm trying to design that level from a top down view in Photoshop! Just a basic diagram, with I think everything the same as about what you described. In other news, here are Samantha's/Richtofen's quotes, most of Sammie's being from PS3 WaW, so they're the deeper version! Updated the OP with it. You can definitely hear the demonic'ess in Richtofen's quotes! bCFQd6qpE-o -
Not completely true. I did a 3 player game where I was Dempsey, and I was blue. Richtofen was yellow, and Takeo was green. No-one was Nikolai or white. I have only seen this once, so whether it's a glitch or not, I don't know. The MAJORITY of the time however, Dempsey will always be white. Again not true. I have had various 2 player games with different people, where it was white and yellow, and white and green. Though I do think for Moon, that Richtofen will always be one of the players, unless in Solo. But in World at War, the person who is Dempsey always host. And if you did split-screen or 2 player, it would always be Dempsey and Nikolai, no matter.

I've heard that hitting the head does normal damage, but hitting the back pack does more damage (so the multiplier is on the back pack, not the head). Anyone confirm this? I wish the good ol' Scavenger was in this map. Would easily take him down. Trying to get a Scavenger shot through the QED is hard.
-
I've noticed you can get the egg (Step 3) if Tunnel 6 breaches before hacking the computers (Step 2), and possibly before playing Samantha Says (Step 1). So you can initially do some steps in a different order. But this is the preferred order I and most others do anyway. Great post! [brains] for you! I found it a lot more understandable and easier to read than the CoDwiki's.
