  1. Perhaps Broken Arrow was opposed to whatever Marlton's workplace was? I'm gonna take a look at all N4 quotes, see what I can get from them in terms of backstory and information.
  2. So it's kinda like the current MP system in CoD where you get those little medals? I'm not actually sure I would like that in Zombies. It would seem too MP-ish, and it would be annoying if they popped up constantly while you played,
  3. I kinda agree with this. For me I just find more replayability in BO2 in BO1. And that's to do with the maps feeling unique and largely not the same. I would say Ascension is closest to Der Riese in layout, and maybe that's why it's a success and one of the more popular maps. BO1 just felt largely the same in some way. The Wonder Weapons in a way felt the same, although they were unique to some extent. I felt BO2 had more unique Wonder Weapons though (I didn't like we always had Monkey Bombs though, need to change it up). The formula in BO1 feels the same in retrospect. From Der Riese to Moon. With BO2, I appreciate they tried to add on to the formula with Buildables, Bank/Weapons Locker and Persistant Upgrades. It sort of felt like going from Nacht to Verruckt, or Shi No Numa to Der Riese, in that they tried adding something new into the formula which would stay. With those, I only liked Buildables and to a lesser extent, Weapons Storage. Buildables need to be unique though. I think I'm the only one, but I really liked the Trample Steam. Your never going to stop glitchers and hackers, and it was another tool for them to use. But I actually liked how it literally changed map dynamics and such. Maybe not to the extent you had to rely on it in Die Rise, but I liked that it was an option in Buried. And I actually want more Buildables that directly alter gameplay like that. The Zombie Shield I liked, but it was a bit OP in regards to how easier BO2 was. Maxis Drone was also nice, and pretty cool it was upgradable. Only other thing I thought was okay was the Head Chopper, but only because it could stick to the roof/walls and wasn't something that needed the Turbine. Everything else I pretty much hated, especially buildable Wonder Weapons. The cool thing about Wonder Weapons is how they changed when PaP, and the story behind, which the two buildable one's don't have. Oh and also, picking up items to build, needs to be like MOTD and Origins. So sick of only carrying one piece at a time. Weapons Locker I feel needs to be accessed at a hard/later spot, and shouldn't be accessed at the start. Perhaps even have a timed lock on it, so it can only be accessed after Round 20 or something like that. I do see the flaws in BO2 though, and understand why people want something more BO1 orientated. For me though, I want something that is a mix of BO1 and BO2, the right mix. Not more BO1 stuff, not more BO2 stuff, but equal stuff. PS. Regarding the boredom of BO2 and it's maps, it's why I do challenges on them from time to time. Ever tried camping in the Barn without Vulture Aid or the Paralyzer? The Maze with only the PhD Flopper Upgrade, M&S, War Machine and RPG? Only staying in the fog, camping at the bottom of the Spawn elevator, etc. There are all these exciting challenges one can do to spice up BO2.
  4. Why does everyone think Maxis side quests are canon? I really don't like how everyone is ignoring Richtofen's side.
  5. Nai, I gave you the second brains. Why wouldn't that stand? You said something that got me thinking, said something I'd never thought about before. I'm not sure why you think it wasn't brains worthy. And it was to do with Zombies. Not trying throw anyone under the TranZit bus, but I have seen a lot of brains given for things I don't think are worthy. Because your a friend, funny but unrelated stuff, etc. It's not that I don't like that, but it just makes me think what's the point? Really?
  6. I'm hearing things about Cannibal Holocaust. Sounds very brutal, don't think I could watch it. Anyone here seen it?

    1. DeathBringerZen

      DeathBringerZen

It is a pretty gruesome movie from 1980 that a lot of people considered a snuff movie. It's garbage, but somewhat fascinating at the same time. You may as well watch it... It is a cult classic, but expect some horrific moments. lol

  7. I'm more afraid they'll take Nuketown route than "Five" route. In that any secondary map at launch will be timed-exclusive DLC for pre-ordering. Actiwhores know Zombies is popular, and I wouldn't be surprised if we got micro-transactions where we could buy points and revives in Solo (It was done on BO:Z for mobile, you pay money for "reserve" points, when ou don't have enough points for something, you tap into those), it happened on a mobile version, I would not be surprised if it ended up on console Zombies. Some will even say that's a solution to the bank lol. But anyway, BO1 did it right. 9 months exclusive for the Classic Maps. They said you could only get Nuketown with the special editions, than they announce after everyone's pre-ordered those, you can just get it by pre-ordering the standard edition. That made me furious.
  8. This actually sounds pretty good and fun! I like BO2 menu just because it showed the world and space and all that. But to only have six areas on the world, made it seem way to small and isolated. And I suppose that could be good depending on how you think. But really, I still have the old maps in mind, so it was always a "What if" with me. Always like to think where the previous 10 maps would be. But like you said, BO1 was very cool in the interactive department. I liked the Terminal, it really needs to return in some form. Gives great backstory about Zombies and the Campaign. Also Zombie Hudson. Oh and Damned is the theme song for the menu/Zombies. Re-Damned is 8-bit Damned, and Damned 100ae is the BO2 remix. Undone is the Nacht EE song in BO1 (which would also work haha)
  9. Might be easier for them to update with some Survival/Grief/Turned modes added in, especially for Die Rise and Origins maps.
  10. They probably didn't realize the Ghost's are infinite until you leave the house. But your situation couldn't potentially be a game breaker if someone wanted to be an arse. Unless of course there's a way to make the last ghost follow you till you get out. Not sure if they're pathing is like Zombies (where they follow the closest) or like Boss Round Zombies (where they will follow one person till they die).
  11. This also might be possible with Who's Who. If you go down with one, enter Who's Who, you may be able to pull the other from the box. But I'm not sure, the game still might think you have one Ray Gun, and may not even allow the other one to appear in the box, even in Who's Who. This could possibly work with Tombstone but you would have to be very lucky and it would actually have to work. I know on Moon you could have a normal and PaP'd Ray Gun legitimately. Get PaP Ray Gun, than have another player spin the box and use hacker. If the Ray Gun appears, they use the hacker again so you can grab it. And hey presto, you got two Ray Guns.
  12. Hmm what interesting news. There's obviously good and bad points to this, but I like to think there are more good points. This title could revitalize the CoD franchise, since it's a new developer. That said, this doesn't change the problem of a yearly CoD release, and how that itself is killing CoD. But it means 2 years to complete every CoD than, which may see a higher standard of quality itself. This in turn will help Zombies. But we don't get any Zombie news for the two years. Waiting for the N4 is going to kill me. On the upside, waiting an extra year for Zombies can bring back that spark for us since some people are still burned out on Zombies. And for me personally, I won't have to get a PS4 right away. That would've been the only reason I upgraded, with this wait, I can kick back and still enjoy my PS3 and hopefully await a PS4 Slim announcement before than. This totally reminded me of Homer's interaction with the Frogurt guy in the Halloween episode.
  13. He would've been a nice edition, but as Sal DeLuca? Maybe not, but as a character similar to Sal DeLuca? Sure. Sal DeLuca just has characteristics I can't see anyone but Chaz Palminteri show. Seems like a stupid and obvious statement, but I'm not sure how to express as something else.
  14. Why is there sunlight coming through the windows in Buried's Church? IT MAKES NO SENSE D: #SamanthaProblems

    1. InfestLithium

      InfestLithium

Because part of the church is in direct sunlight from the hole above it.

    2. Rissole25

      Rissole25

I mean, there could be one, but considering the geography of the rock out front, and light comes through window closest to the entrance, it just seems odd and off for some reason.

    3. Slade

      Slade

Must be a conspiracy from the lighting engine!

  15. Dolly Cam and viewing it through the Timeline Editor, needs some serious work and tweaking. The cams seem to move forward slightly from where you place when viewing through the Editor. Makes the movement delayed essentially. Pissed off because it ruins great shots I had set up.

  16. Still need to get Buried done. I told myself I'd wait, but I'd like to switch over to Maxis at some point, so may as well push the button. I haven't done it, but I watched a few through Theatre, and it looks like the PDW is the best weapon to use in the shooting part. Any other weapon suggestions?
  17. Random changing challenges sound nice. Just so your it adds more dynamics. I remember back before BO2, a couple of people including me suggested BO1 Contracts be added. I think for that to work, there would have to be some form of progression/levelling up system. Oh and like Lenne said, the HUD's were nice, and so was the music. The changing themes of the Round Start/End were cool, but I think an option should be in to turn the Themed HUD's/Music On/Off. Sometimes I just like the original HUD/Round Start and Finish music. Just gives that classic kick ass feel (Still love the Themed stuff though, especially Buried!).
  18. Character Customization would be good. Just for Survival/Grief, etc. You select Gender, Race, Skin Colour. The big three that set the bar. For the small but defining stuff. Hair, Hair Colour, Eye Colour, Tattoo's/Scars. For the meat and bones. Shirt, Jacket (On/Off), Pants/Shorts, Shoes/Socks, Hats (On/Off). All these you can choose different styles of, choosing different colours and such. Last we have accessories. These include Glasses (On/Off), Bracelets, Necklaces, and Miscellaneous (stuff like Samuel's Journal, Marlton's Pens. Just odd things you can include. Seems a bit big, but we're onto next gen and I think Character Customisation (doesn't have to be to this extent) is easily possible. If it doesn't work on PS3/360, they can have CDC/CIA. But if they don't do this and still gives us CDC/CIA, please, PLEASE, give them quotes! We're not in Nacht der Untoten, so there's no excuse for no voices. If I wanted that, I'd turn Voices down. And I guess give them individual identities as well? Though I'd rather have voices than identities.
  19. I like it. I mean, you can still welcome them to the forum, but the auto reply gives general information on where to post and stuff and I think that's neat. Besides it goes into detail that no-one (rarely) goes into, in an introduction post.
  20. Origins Challenge Chest for me. This needs to be included in all future maps, with differing objectives. Buildables come a real close second. But only when they're done right. Zombie Shield, Trample Steam and Maxis' Drone were great buildables. I want more like those, but especially the Trample Steam. The way it alters gameplay by sending you places was great, we need more like that, that directly change map dynamics sorta.
  21. I don't think Xbox had the problem. All the reports I've heard about MotD/Cell Block not working we're just for PS3.
  22. Going to scream if I get another crap game of Buried. Can people not just leave for once?

      But I stink.

      Boom115

I pretty much accept that as the norm when playing with randoms at this point.

  24. Yeah, I only really use my mic when I'm playing with people I know. Otherwise I am 99.99% micless. If I get into a lobby of 3 mics, I automatically leave. They always ask for me to turn my mic on, and since I don't they leave. Just saves everyone's time if I leave straight away. A mic is not always needed for a good game. Sometimes, we message each other with the basics of what we're trying to achieve, and follow suit. Randoms don't usually go for eggs. So it's more just focused on surviving. Origins is a little harder in that sense because there are so many challenges and stuff to do, but it's still achieveable without mics.
  25. Do you need any specific screenshots Boom? I can provide if you want some.
