  1. I had to keep rewriting this because I kept finding more questions. So I'll keep it short because I'll write a billion questions. I still think Samantha is Maxis daughter. But because he hadn't had her back than, obviously it would seem crazy to him. Somehow, her being trapped in Agartha in Buried, has gotta be linked to her being trapped in Origins. So how exactly can Samantha communicate with us? I thought Agartha was a city within the earth's core. It seems like a realm or dimension. Is it left over power from when she was in the M.P.D. that causes us to hear her perhaps? Ughhhhh Origins is a clusterbomb of confusion... Just some things to note. The Announcer sounds like Sam's smoker voice in the first intro trailer before her voice was changed. I'm not sure if that means anything. If it means she's sending the zombies here. Just something to note. I'm not sure why they changed it if it is her. Perhaps to give a feminine touch perhaps? Perhaps the voice change for Sam's actual voice is also something notable? Perhaps she lost her accent over time? Though the cutscene screws that if that takes place before all the maps. Also something to note, the box moving laugh sounds like a distorted and sped up version of Richtofens laugh. I'm not sure why. Maybe I'm hearing wrong lol.
  2. I liked them. Especially the Trample Steam. Both fun and useful. Shield was good as well. Some of them could've been executed better, especially on their given maps. TranZit's layout practically made the Electric Trap and Turret useless, since they relied on the Turbine. The Turbine was useless in Buried. It can be used to get perks before the powers on, but the power is very easy to get too, and it can't be turned off either. Only added for the Subsurface resonator. Basically my only problem is how TranZits buildables are placed, and question the Turbines existence in Buried. I'm fine with everything else though.
  3. I use to do it for Split-Screeners in Black Ops. I only really ever do it if the whole lobby has mics and I dont feel like using mine. Majority of the time they leave or complain about me, and even if they don't, I feel like they do and save them the trouble by leaving.
  4. Oh boy I hear you there. Ever tried talking to a Pokemon fan who thinks Gen I is the best? Hasn't played Gen IV, V, and VI (isn't even out ), claims they suck and that they should've stopped with Red, Blue and Yellow. Luckily most people don't let nostalgia get the better of them, well at least Pokemon fans. Zombie fans, that's a different story unfortunately.
  5. I'd say it'd be easier to just rebuy the same perk machine again. But obviously at a much higher cost, and probably unlocked after a certain round, say 30 or something.
  6. I'd be fine if it was just Nuketown. A lot of free perk spaces to be utilized there. As long as it had all the Black Ops 2 and Black Ops perks (maybe except Tombstone or Who's Who, no need for both), it'd be great. Utilise Who's Who or Tombstone, and you could possibly get all 11/12 perks if you're lucky enough!
  7. I'm certain there will be future Zombies installments. What I want them to do is do what they did with WaW and BO. Have a secret map revealed after the Campaign is completed. I really think this should've been the case with Nuketown Zombies in Black Ops 2. The cutscene could've easily been the website description. Show the original Nuketown, than the bomb dropping. Show Nuketown Zombies. Cut to radiation scientists investigating the site. Than Zombies arriving from over the fences, attacking the scientists with one of them signalling for help, before being killed. Cut to black, than show the CIA and CDC arriving. They're talking, confirming they are at the distress site, but there's no reply. Have them try again, while cutting to Area 51 either deserted or with the O4 fighting the zombies there. Cutback to the CIA and CDC, than having zombies appearing. They arm up, kill a few, and the game starts. That should've unlocked after the Campaign, not be some $10 extra.
  8. Very awesome dude! You should totally do one for Die Rise, and you could even do some for CotD, MotD, and maybe even "Five".
  9. If they did every group of characters, you'd have about 8 sets to collect.
  10. See this is the kinda thing they should do all the time. I wasn't involved with the Origins cyphers, but even those looked fun to do. The community came together to figure it out, and it's just one of those things that make you love zombies. Thank you everyone again for keeping interest in this. I wouldn't have pursued it if no-one wanted to. But also a big thanks to you Lithium. I think you're post right before it was deciphered made it click in my brain.
  11. Nope, if you have OG Ray Gun, you can't pull the Mk II out, and vice versa. Buried seems to have a higher chance off pulling the Mk II out, I think because that was the map it was introduced on. And you can get the Mk II on all maps if you have Vengeance map pack. All Green Maps, Grief, everything. I think there might be a way to have both, but it would have a low chance of working, or maybe not at all. Essentially it would be like Moon's trick where you can hold the Ray Gun, and the X2 at the same time, but different. If you have Tombstone and you've got the Mk II, you would go down by the Mystery Box. Have the 2nd player start the next round so you respawn. Now since you don't have anything on you, there's a chance you could get the original Ray Gun before you have to pick up your Tombstone. If you do, than you may be able to keep both if it replaces your other gun. This could also work with Die Rise but with a higher chance possibly. With Mule Kick, I imagine a higher chance of keeping both instead of it replacing the Mk II. Also I imagine this could work for PaP'd and non-PaP'd variants, just like Moon.
  12. Welcome back. I recognize your old name haha. I got into the PSASBR scene early on, but it didn't last long for me. I mained Sly but the Kratos users were just killing it for me. And I just seemed to plain suck at it. Anyway I came back for the rest of the trophies but looks I might never get them. Always get that 0314-0101 error while searching for an oppponent, so hopefully one day that fixes up. Superhands unfortunately never came back. It's a bit weird not seeing his pizzaz strategy skills and guides for these maps. Maybe in the future he may return. Phxntxm I believe still pops on but very very rarely. And way2g00 is still kicking here on CoDz :P
  13. I haven't played Origins, but I'm assuming there's some biased votes there. You would only be judging on their Origins appearance, not any previous appearances, like this is the first time you're meeting them, and I'm sure most people didn't do that.
  14. I gotta agree with this. The whole Campaign team didn't solely make Mob of the Dead or Origins. In fact, the only evidence people are providing is the lack of tweets or mentions from Jimmy and co. While that does seem odd, that isn't really hard direct evidence to support their claims. No one at Treyarch has confirmed it or anything. I'm sure they easily ask for help from the Campaign guys if their schedule is a little tight. But I don't think they come up with anything new. Just following the ZT's directions. I'm sure they have story, and most if not all the map figured out. Maybe some suggestions might get through from the CT to them, but I seriously doubt that MOTD and Origins wasn't majorly done by the ZT.
  15. This all the way. Black Ops 2 should've been their story, instead it gets overshadowed by the O4. Personally, I don't think we were going to finish with the O4 originally. But due to "demand" and all the hate, I think put the O4 in. Treyarch's handling of the N4 just pisses me off. Die Rise could've been great storywise, like it being Broken Arrow's HQ. Or radios. Just SOMETHING that gave character to them.
  16. Ugh. I had this about 2 weeks after Die Rise's Xbox release. Lasted about 2 months. Basically any game I was in for Multiplayer and Zombies, I would get forced out of it so this message could be displayed. This would also cause unfair probations. If I was somehow lucky enough to finish a match, I would be 1-2 bars for some odd reason. After earning a bloodthirsty for the camo's the game reset it back after the message, so I didn't gain anything. That was the last straw for me, and I vowed not to play CoD or buy Revolution until this was fixed. Anyway it was a post-Revolution patch that did this/made the game unplayable. It was the Uprising patch for PS3 (came about close to when it was released for Xbox) that fixed it for me, more than 2 months later.
  17. Personal conviction I suppose. I tend to like the things people don't. I like them because they're more relatable and more diverse. Within 3 maps, I care for them more than the O4 in 9 maps. Don't get me wrong, I still like the O4. But they are grossly overrated, and they got repetitive. Of course, I have yet to play Origins and I'll probably like them more when I do because its a new fresh experience. But the N4 just appeal to me more.
  18. You're correct about the Nav Cards/Tables. As far as we know, they only effected the Buried End Game. I'm not really sure why its needed though when the Easter Egg does the tower (would need some clarification on this). Before the patch though, it added the little radio waves and radio message on the world map, but I think they removed that feature. I don't think there is anything to the new route though.
  19. They all have a unique atmosphere. I suppose if you're going for scary atmosphere, you'd go for MotD, Verruckt, etc. For a tranquil beauty one, you'd go for Shangri-La, Die Rise, etc. For a dank and dirty one, you'd go for Kino, Buried, etc. Really it all depends what your looking. They're all unique. Not to mention they have a seperate story-ish atmosphere. For example, TranZit's atmosphere fits well because of the story at that point.
  20. Misty and the rest of the N4 all day, everyday.
  21. This. A lot of people are just throwing it off and claiming it as another TranZit or Ascension when they probably haven't even checked themselves. There could be some merit to this. All it takes is some time to check it. The 3rd music Easter egg in Nuketown wouldn't have been found otherwise (thanks to Telixion).
  22. Very nice Misty. Looking forward to seeing what you'll do for the Easter egg. My only concern with it is the amount of weapons in the Mystery Box. Just seems like there are way to many (30+). Of course it's your map so you can create it how you want, but I suggest you remove some. But I love that you've mixed it up, good job. Oh yeah, maybe another perk as well, to round it off to 6. Either your own creation or one already done.
  23. I love music and sounds, and the Zombies Soundtrack is no exception. Gonna keep coming back to this thread. One of the better threads on the site IMO. :)
  24. May as well have my turn Right after Moon I made thread for my thoughts of what's gonna happen after it. viewtopic.php?f=100&t=16232 In one of the posts, I write this. Of course I don't claim to have created the EE basis, but I just think it is a funny coincidence. :D
  25. Clark actually has a larger part than I imagined. Those deep growls you hear while Elena and Malukah sing are actually him! Was very surprised at that, wish he could've done that in Carrion or We All Fall Down. Malukah and metal is very weird. Should call it Metalukah haha Really? I find it kinda obvious. Kevin has the lyrics as well as who sang them in the About section. Malukah's voice has a haunting quality to it, and is slightly lower than Elena's. Whereas Elena's voice has power and is slightly higher than Malukah's. I do agree about Clark. I feel he should've had a bigger part instead of just being in the background for both. But I'm just glad he's there anyway. :D
