Possible, but it is also proposed that TranZit takes place shortly after the events on Moon, based on the amount of dust still kicked up, the fires still burning, and it is currently a popular belief that the voice that can be heard in the Nuketown Zombies bunker is Marlton, and we know that the Nuketown Zombies map takes place during the Moon events, therefore the TranZit gameplay cannot be more than a few years after the Moon event. How to explain the retro look mixed with some highly futuristic areas, and objects, I'm not sure. I myself am not 100% convinced that the voice in the shelter is Marlton, but it is a possibility.

Our vB site is not cooperating very well. It turns out the way the databases for the current site are set up, it is a royal pain to get everything working on the vB site. Unfortunately at this time we have been recommended by vB support to find and hire a professional. This will be done eventually, but unfortunately it will be even farther off. I'm sorry guys, on behalf of all the CoDz staff.

Very nice. Very nice. I always enjoy musical analysis threads. So much more is hidden in the songs than most think. Great connections.

Permanent Earnable Perks Proof and how to unlock them
MegaAfroMan replied to blackfire561's topic in TranZit
I have to argue against the Perma-Deadshot. I have the effect where no matter how I kill a zombie (knife, shot to the chest etc.)his head explodes, but it takes the same amount of shots to kill, and it doesn't count as headshots. So I'm not sure what's going on there, but it doesn't seem to make a difference other than causing their heads to explode. At least for me. The other two I do have though. They're pretty awesome. -
I love the emblem creator, although I am sad due to an apparent lack of rabbits, I guess dolphins will have to do. I also enjoy the pick 10 class system. I think it is cool that I can substitute a second tactical grenade and a perk 1 perk, to double up on perk 2 perks. Really allows for some highly specialized classes. Although I do not care much for weapon xp. I don't like how tough it is to earn all the attachments for a weapon. I wish it was unlock tokens instead. I am very glad it isn't both though.

Question about leaderboards, if anyone knows...
MegaAfroMan replied to CheezyWeezle's topic in General Zombies Discussion
Verruckt, is this new after the recent update? Or do stats count but rounds still are ignored from custom games? And as far as I know, unless they leave before the game officially starts your rounds record at the time that they leave. Also I do not believe you can join mid game for a public match. -
Interesting, it sounds like it is more of an exploit than I would care to use, but I suppose it is good to know about if this is an intended feature on Treyarchs behalf. Although with a wall weapon on round 20 or so, you can rack up money fast enough to fill your bank account, and it is more fun (for me).

Here are some brief notes I took whilst playing and reviewing (in theater mode) various Tranzit games. If it matters (I highly doubt it does) the majority of the data was collected in solo play. Enjoy. Bus does not stop if, there is no one riding the bus, or, there is no one in proximity of the upcoming stop. Bus ride (without stops) takes approximately 5 minutes and 45 seconds. Bus ride from Terminal to Diner is about 1 min 20 seconds Bus ride from Diner to Farm is about 1 minute. Bus ride from power station to Town takes approximately 1 minute. Bus ride from Town to Terminal takes approximately 1 minute 20 seconds Bus ride from Farm to Power Station is about 1 minute and 10 seconds ------------------------------------------------------------ Turbines will continue to power until destroyed. If a turbine is already out on the field (placed by you) you cannot grab a new one from the Terminal. (Not sure if this also applies to when you switch out the turbine for something else). ------------------------------------------------------------ Bus wait time appears random, although I believe there may be a link between either number of people at the stop, or distance from the bus, and the wait time. It also seems (not checked thoroughly) that getting on the bus and closing the doors speeds up the waiting process. ------------------------------------------------------------ Perk machines can be powered by the turbine, however, the effect will only be active if the machine remains powered. When you down, you drop any parts you were carrying. The zombie shield can break. ------------------------------------------------------------ I didn't see anywhere in particular that had gameplay tips and tidbits, so here are my own. I plan on trying to figure out if the bus waiting time is related to any particular factors, or if it truly is just random. Perhaps if I find the time, I'll give a general map guide a shot. Until then, read, comment, enjoy, criticize and etc. Happy slaying, MegaAfroMan

Black Ops Reflection: Randoms. The Good, Bad, and Ugly
MegaAfroMan replied to Mr. Jay's topic in General Zombies Discussion
Oh... Randoms, you make me laugh sometimes... The Good: I've had many a game with randoms where I can say I've had legitimate fun. Loads of it. With my main zombie slaying team, the games are usually so serious now that Black Ops has been out for so long, the only things left are goals and challenges, with randoms I can still just play and not worry about using the most efficient training spots, and conserving ammo, and what not. I can fire the thunder gun in 3 shot bursts and laugh to myself. It's a good time, and sometimes I meet some really nice people while doing this. I've only had one true non-CoDz random stay on my friends list for more than a few months, but I have enjoyed many games with randoms, who I then play with again a few days or weeks later. The Bad: Well, sometimes, actually most of the time, they aren't good people, and there are two types of people I cannot stand playing with: The Nazis, and Rocks. Nazis are classified by their bossy nature. They are the guys that on round one automatically claim their window, and if you happen to already be there, they stand behind you and shoot at the zombies anyways. They are the ones who usually purchase whatever the hell the want, only when they want to and they are the ones on Kino that will rage if you open both doors on the stage. These people who are unwilling to adapt, and enjoy the variation that can come from random games are truly aggravating. They seem to have some belief that they don't need any of you and are perfectly willing to bring the game to a crashing halt, while at the same time they also treat everything about that same match as if they are going for a 100 run. Either have fun, or plan out a serious match with friends, don't take it out on us for disagreeing with your strategy, or not wanting to go to round 62 with 4 people tonight. Rocks, are players that do not talk, or listen, they are essentially deaf and mute to the world, and they have the intellect of a "rock". They make no effort to even acknowledge the other players in the game. They grab max ammos immediately after the last dog dies, they buy doors in the middle of the round, and they usually rage quit when they or go down, or bleed out. All rocks are micless, or mute players, but not all mute players are rocks. Some actually try to give you another 5 seconds to reload, or wait until the end of the round to buy a door. I still don't care for the inability to communicate, but it can be tolerated. Rocks cannot be. They are hopeless cases, and are usually a sign that your game will die well before round 20, because even if you can carry the rock that far, you won't want to. It isn't rewarding, it feels like a longer, inconvenient solo match. The Ugly: Well, as awful as rocks and nazis are, sometimes, less informed players can be the worst. On particularly bad days, I hate, HATE, having to listen to someone talk about how Paris is going to be released as a secret map pack, and it has already been confirmed, or hearing someone talk about how you can T-bag the box and make it give you a raygun, or how it has been proven by treyarch that the python is a purely awful gun that only noobs ever use. Sometimes I want to help inform these minds, other times I want to rip their limbs off, luckily for myself and those around me, it is usually the former. Also as an added after thought, I hate glitchers. Glitch with your friends. Don't come in to a random match and not even play the game. Some glitches I hate more than others, for example, sometimes I'll give in and split the hacker with randoms, other times I don't quite want to do so, but out of map glitches, and no helmet glitches, and anything else that dramatically changes the gameplay I will not participate in. Also, an annoyance I have is playing Shangri-La with randoms, 9 out of 10 matches, people want to do the EE, not an awful thing, but annoying nonetheless. Well there you are Jay, and CoDz! Enjoy my poorly written paragraphs! :D -
Big things I noticed in the zombie trailer
MegaAfroMan replied to SirPlasticDucky's topic in General Zombies Discussion
Please stay on topic. I really don't want to see this thread locked. Just move on, what's done is done, and what has been said is already out there. Tankeo, if you believe there is an issue, PM a staff member about it. Faust, you probably should have just PM'ed him why he got a warning, and saying that he (the same user that Tankeo responded to) is Silly Wild Ass Guessing, could be seen as offensive wording. Anyone else with opinions on this altercation, please PM the appropriate user with your thoughts. Now onto zombies!    -
[tab][/tab]I'm glad to see you back! It is users like you, that make CoDz different than some other forums. Every forum that has a topic will cover the logistics behind it, but not all of them will actively try and connect the fellow enthusiasts of said topic quite like we do here at CoDz. And you Jay, you are one of the biggest contributors to that very process. Things will pick up around here, and when they do, I know Jay and many like him, will continue to make CoDz great.

[tab][/tab]Man, I'd love to meet you guys and play some awesome games. However I don't think I can make a good excuse to travel to London from the Midwestern U.S.

READ THE VERY FIRST LINE TANKEO.

[tab][/tab]Even in a joking manner there is no need to call anyone a rat. Ever. StopMockingMe, retaliation is never good either, but at least you apologized for it. The point of this thread is the idea contained in the OP, to complete all 5 EEs with proof, on the same account with at least 2 randoms. It doesn't matter who wrote the post, this isn't a post about evaluating Der Atzi. So please keep this polite, respectful, and on topic. Next inappropriate comment, or unnecessary insult will have consequences to face. I know we are better than this guys. So prove that point to me, and to yourselves.

Thanks for the reply The Dunbarian! I'm glad I got at least one Ah well, I'm not Ehjookayted or Jay so I shouldn't expect much for replies anyhow. And Tankeo, Hi.

A stupid idea i just came up with
MegaAfroMan replied to CajunBacon's topic in General Zombies Discussion
I would love it, simply for dramatic effect. It could be useful in situations in Multiplayer however. Even though it may not be extravagant, it most certainly isn't stupid. I've often tried to do this, only to discover that I cannot. It is always a big disappointment. :P -
I started by lurking. Finding this site through Google while searching for strategies and other such things. I enjoyed this site, so I began to lurk here more than was really necessary. I stopped coming here for specific information, and started coming here just to absorb as much of the writing as I could. Eventually I began to have people recognize and acknowledge my replies and posts. It was remarkable. I cannot begin to convey the joy I felt at being recognized and accepted by even just a few members of this community. So I kicked myself into overdrive. A good number of our users were considering leaving over a dispute about the group known as "Bronies". Long story short, someone had mentioned that the images and gifs of the ponies all around the site made things look childish, and then it escalated to extreme levels. I began rapidly sending out PM's to everyone I could that seemed even remotely involved in the conflict. Trying to get people to calm down, and rethink their actions and words. Unfortunately I did not manage to do much, but I did attract the attention of Covert Gunman. I must have been doing a decent job at it, because I was then promoted to Moderator position, and this time I even got some congratulation messages! However this really didn't change what I did very much, but now my name was green! Then I inherited the User of the Month thread, and tried to help reform it. I did my best to stay at the forefront of the debates and polls relating to changing some of the rules regarding eligibility, and now User of the Month is (hopefully) capable of being better than it ever was! Only time will give me the answer to that question, as the Black Ops 2 season will bring us the resources necessary for the wonderful users here to make all the amazing theories and strategies that first caught my eye. So hello CoDz, it is great to be here. I am MegaAfroMan, and I hope to be your number one source for assistance here on CoDz. Even though my name is now green, I am not in anyway, above anything you may need help with, and certainly not above any of you. Have a great afternoon, and happy slaying to you all.

I chuckled out loud when I caught your implication. I think it is funny how Richtofen was (arguably) our main character for WaW and BO zombies, and now the only hint we've had thus far is a picture of a "Hot chick" I think it is more of an amusing coincidence though at this point. I kind of wonder if the Treyarch Devs even realized this.

Something that has been bugging me
MegaAfroMan replied to FatedTitan's topic in General Zombies Discussion
Yes please move all debates on the identity of the man in the poster to the new thread that has been created. Here is a link - viewtopic.php?f=100&t=23906 - Enjoy. Any debates I see relating to this topic, in this particular thread will be moved to the new one, or maybe even just deleted, at my discretion. So have fun theory building HERE and identity debating THERE. :D -
I like this. Good job guys. I'm proud of how constructive you're trying to make this. I personally believe it does look a lot more like the CoDZL guy than Richtofen, however I can see with a certain margin of error it could look close to Richtofen. Just the stronger facial structure, and the poster man looks completely bald to me, not buzz cut, or receding hairline. He looks bald to me. That's all I've got though. I'll be keeping an eye on you guys.

[tab][/tab]I believe we have tried to check, but ran into an error concerning the paypal, I apologize for the wait, but unfortunately, it may still take a little longer. We are listening though, you haven't been forgotten!
