  1. THATS IT! Thanks PINNAZ. If zombies uses a round counter based on the same premise, expecting no one to get that high, then after 255, it'd fall apart. Or at least everything affected by the counter would fall apart. However I have no clue if that's really how zombies reflects it's rounds value in the equations for health and so on.
  2. I laughed. These are all applicable to myself. In fact just the other night I plugged in my mic three different times in one game just to say three of these. The first one was verbatum.
  3. I'm not so sure about that, just off the top of my head. I get the double points bonus a lot on buried, and I never stop shooting during a double points. I guess if it doesn't count money earned via sniper kills maybe. Likewise I swear I had a game shortly after Buried initial release where it doubled in effect and a bost spin cost me some awkward 237 or some thing. BUT I conceed until I can return with evidence. I shall be back.
  4. Excited, huh Boom? Stretched textures made it look... excited? Was it still alive, or did it have... rigor mortis?
  5. I always thought you had to achieve a certain number of points during the 2x.
  6. Chances are, they were instances in BO and WaW where the health forumula returned as "undefinied" and so the game assigned them the base value of 150. 255 is a common error number for coding if not worked around. I believe it has to do with where bits max out and become a byte or something along that range. I believe PacMan supposed crashes after the 255th level or something like that. I dunno. I'm not bothering to fact check any of this right now.
  7. I'm assuming this has not been carried into black ops 2?
  8. I almost prefer mic-less lobbies when I search for casual games. Although some maps and modes make that harder than others.
  9. I have mixed feelings on this. I wish that like seperating games for best connection, you could also seperate high round intentions from those not willing to go as far. There are many many times when I want to play with randoms, because the unpredictable nature is fun. I don't want to talk to them. I certainly don't want to go much past round 20 or so. It'd be nice if I didn't have to waste serious players' time, and they mine.
  10. Hey CoDz Australians! I've recently heard that it is against the law to take lengthy showers in some areas because of low water reserves. Is this true?

People in northern US are encouraged to lower their thermometer to better distribute gas.

      Hmm. Good point Jay.

It may not be water, but it is a similar regulation to encourage the distribution of a resource.

You know, Mega. I had a dream last night, I was stranded in Australia. Right by the airport, and everyone riding bicycles :tf:

  11. Hey CoDz Australians!

  12. I would very much like to see other opinions, for or against this addition very soon. Silence is many times worse than the nastiest shouting.
  13. Clairification, by capitalize, I do not mean in money. I mean in views and interest. Creating special forums for extinction players on a site dedicated to zombies will only cause to draw extinction players (both from on and off site) to post here. Also, you misunderstand. This topic isn't close to me. Not at all. I just firmly believe that people are obligated by society, and nature itself, to have opinions and to create reasons behind those opinions. I believe that opinions should have premises and conclusions. Then these opinions should be defended and discussed and even attacked. The only way to advance, is to make public debate over topics, and to hold back in a debate is political bullshit. There is no good reason to go light until someone else comes along to argue with. This topic doesn't keep me up at night. This topic doesn't lurk in my mind. I have an opinion on it, I thought about my opinions, I backed them up, and I decided to present them to the community.
  14. I'm sorry. This is disappointing. The teammate finder was never necessarily game specific, and it is rarely used as is. There'd be absolutely NO reason not use that teammate finder for extinction. This is a waste of forum space, in that now we have 85 forums and subforums making things seem labrythnian and empty. Ghosts has just over 20 topics, extinction has less and 20 topics. They do NOT need their own forums. It waters things down and spreads topics too thin. Just as well Extinction is NOT our topic area. I understand it is CoD, but we are CoDz. Z. I disagree with the need for an Extinction forum at all. I'd barely be tolerate an extinction subforum under Ghosts. For that matter I highly disagree with Ghosts forum being ABOVE BO2, BO1 and WaW, and that Ghosts even needs it's own forum. All non zombies CoD games could, and should, just be lumped into one CoD forum. The forum should be organized, roughly, top down in order of importance. On CoDz, Ghosts and Extinction should not be above ANY Treyarch games. Extinction is not why people come to CoDz. I feel that this is a poor idea, a simple attempt to capitalize on the new nature of Extinction, and a further agent of disorganization and watering-down of our forum layout. This isn't to point fingers at any particular staff, and certainly not at you Grill, but I do severely hope you address this very soon, along with all the previous and current suggestions on reorganizing the forum and the board structure.
  15. I think that feature could be awesome for any question-related topics, although I wonder if it'd be intrusive for longer questions, or offensive in areas of controversy. I think it's awesome, but it'd need limitations on where it could be used.
  16. I just thought it more likely myself that Germany, and the world, was largely unaware of that entire ruin with WW1 going on and such, but Samantha warped things enough to lead Maxis there, and the other 3 warriors. I mean, Samantha could have had a sunconscious influence on Maxis well before 1918, possibly even starting after the initial exposure at Tunguska. The resulting coincidence of the other three appearing, I would assume is also Samantha's doing. As much as she probably didn't care for the idea of Richtofen being involved, it was only a minor concern as she knew that this Richtofen wouldn't recognize her fully (although he makes some rather ominous quotes about that very subject) and therefore wouldn't impede her goals. She just wants to be with her Dad again. So she influenced these world leaders, Japan's Emperor, and the military leaders in USA and Russia, to send the three best zombie fighters she knew of to France to protect her father after she realized that there was something else involved in the area. The ancient evil, which I believe may somehow be Richtofen-led zombies. Somehow, our actual O4 went back in the past of that timeline, and Richtofen chased them there, which inspired the ruins to be built and left all these ancient zombies around. I don't think they are actively controlled by a Richtofen at that time, because no matter which way you spin the story, Richtofen ends up stuck, either in Samuel's body, or the random zombie's body. Even at "full power" he still gets stuck. He just isn't equiped to control the aether. So short version: The ruins at 1918 were never visited, and possibly didn't even exist, until the aether gods warped the timeline. However that's how I always looked at it. If there is reason to believe that it did happen the first time around, I'd gladly take a look. It just seems unlikely too me, as the main chamber of the ruins is dedicated to the O4, and that just wouldn't fit without some timeline warping happening. But then there would be an aether god present pre-Moon incident, and I'd think he/she would have tried harder to defend the MPD from intrusion in that event. One could argue that the O4 statues were only there the second time around, sure, but then I have probably just as much weight in saying that the whole ruins only existed the second time around.
  17. Interesting. I was uncertain myself as to whether or not an original 1918 event occured at all. What makes you believe so?
  18. Shooter, you know that's conjecture. I believe it's a branching timeline personally, as does at least a few others. That allows for the maps to all be in cause-effect order, ie Buried leads to Origins, BUT Origins has no effect on maps past 1918, because at that point history branches and everything after that point will be effected by Origins, which was effected by Buried, TranZit, Moon, Der Riese, and so on. It kind of makes a macro and micro timeline phenomenon. Absolute and relative time. Origins in relative time should be well before Buried, but in absolute time it is after Buried. In fact, you can NOT say that Origins picks up where Buried left off, without agreeing to branching lines. If it is a single line, then point O at 1918 can NOT take place following point B at the unspecified future.
  19. I could see it being an intended scare IF it didn't take away your weapons. However because it did, maybe it thought you were trying to get into a barrier glitch of some sort?

I never understood the purpose, but if people want it, I don't see the harm. You have the power my friend. Do as you see fit.
  21. I've always wondered whether it was preferable in general for matches to Jug rush, or to build up points as long as possible. I ended up with Jug rush, at least in BO1, MotD, Origins. TranZit, Die Rise, Buried and Nuketown, don't quite follow these two choices, as they are somewhat oddballs. Maybe I'll try holding out and maxing points for my next few games on each applicable map, and see how it compares to rushing for Jug.

Anonymous, or hidden? Is there a difference? I know old CoDz had a "hidden" option. All it did was prevent you from appearing online to non-staff. Is Anonymous different?
  23. These are my favorite types of guides. Early rounds are my weakspot. I'm many times more likely to down in the first 15 rounds, than I am anytime past 30-40. Thanks for the tips! I'll be sure to give this a shot. I usually rush Jug and Bowie.
  24. I know. I just wanted to add my two cents. :P
  25. It depends on the specifcs with that one for me. When I play, we try to make sure doors purchased are about equal, BUT, the more affluent buy the more expensive doors, and the first doors go to the poorest. Some randoms get the concept, others get mad. It's just an accepted fact with my group though. If you have the least points, you'll probably buy the first door.
