Unfortunately Bob doesn't see any simple ways to allow that. He said he'll look into it though.

Well, no kitchens in asylum. They'll still appear elsewhere with little resistance. :P

ATTN Treyarch - sledgehammer and the fly
MegaAfroMan replied to Chopper's topic in General Zombies Discussion
you are definitely one of my fav. user's here!! i wish this site still used "brains" cause id give them all to you. don't let emotion cloud your logic... treyarch/activision didn't lie to you, you lied to yourself by setting yourself up for a fall and then expecting not to fall... No. They didn't lie. But they certainly stretched deception further than they previously have, and further than was acceptable. There is no denying that they said Nuketown Zombies would be exclusive to Hardened edition purchasers, and there is no denying that it wasn't, for long. They didn't specify a length of time, and that, only in retrospect, is suspicious. But they took advantage of our assumption that they would hold off until the final DLC to release the hardened content to the general public. It was wrong, and a terrible act on there part. We are in no way at fault for this. We were deceived. Had they not shouted "exclusive" and had I known the season pass would have given me the same map 1 month later, I would not have paid the additional 20$, and I know of countless others who feel the same. Regardless of whether or this is a common business practice, in no way justifies this behavior, especially when the past shows otherwise for this particular company (Treyarch). -
Terminology That Offends...
MegaAfroMan replied to ninezerowill's topic in General Zombies Discussion
True the world doesn't bend to comfort everyone, and yes I believe being able to laugh at light hearted references to some darker topics (Rape, Cancer, Etc) is probably better for everyone involved. However, the world could be a much better place if we learned to just not use some words that are offensive by nature, simply out of respect to those that have a hard time coping, or perhaps do not have the best sense of humor. We don't need to use the word rape. We can use running loops, circles, routes, looping, running, etc. All of which do not have offensive material directly tied to their definition. No one would bat an eye if you told them you were the victim of looping, or running. But if you replaced those words with rape, then you'd have a much different reaction, so here on this site I believe it is only fair of us (the users, the staff, and I) to request that you use some other term to describe the method of zombie collection that involves constant motion. As far as your point of Murder in MurderMachineX being offensive, I do not have a good reason as to why that is more acceptable, and if it does offend someone, I would certainly hope it would be brought up with myself, MMX, or another staff member. You do have to realize and accept that in no way whatsoever does my inability to provide an excuse for Murder in MurderMachine, discredit my argument against, or excuse the usage of the term Rape. -
ATTN Treyarch - sledgehammer and the fly
MegaAfroMan replied to Chopper's topic in General Zombies Discussion
ALL Wonder Weapons (Except Winters Howl, Ray Gun, Scavenger, and the nerfed WunderWaffe DG2/3) can kill a horde on any round with one shot. It hasn't been something they worried about before, and thus our confusion and outrage now. The chaining is not easy. I can only keep them going for maybe 50-80 on a good day. People that can keep the zombies tightly packed enough right next to multiple spawn locations to continue the chain are skilled. Without this chain effect it isn't punishing anyone other than them, and most certainly isn't helping anyone. Players who are that skilled can get to whatever round they can endure till, and with solo pausing in BO2, that almost even takes endurance out of the equation. With the chain it helps these hardcore super players play the game in fun and exciting way, reducing the amount of time they have to spend recycling the Sliquifier into the box for more ammo. It's the same deal as those 300+ No mans land scoring players. That isn't easy either, few have legitimately gotten that far, and to do so requires excellent speed, reactions, and knowledge of the spawn patterns. I would argue NML is harder, but this is still along the same lines. You're trying to run roughly 20 zombies as they die off, to be replaced by zombies coming out of windows practically right next to you. If one jumps out at the wrong time, our you make a turn slightly too shallow, you could get cornered and down. It might not be godly, but it certainly pretty good, and much better than I will ever do. I'd rather they have as much fun with the game as I do, rather than drag them down just because I can't react that quickly. -
ATTN Treyarch - sledgehammer and the fly
MegaAfroMan replied to Chopper's topic in General Zombies Discussion
I agree entirely with MurderMachine. I was under the impression that it was the only way to get NTZ, and if I remember correctly, we didn't get told otherwise until after the game's release. It was a bullshit move, pardon my language, it was a ridiculous, misleading, greedy act on Treyarch/Activision's behalf. I did not pay for Timed Exclusivity. I paid for complete exclusivity, or at least exclusivity until the last DLC, such as with BO1 and the Classic Maps. -
Welcome to CoDz. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to send me a message about them. I usually respond back within a fair amount of time, and if I don't... well... :P

Unless things have changed since I've last looked, signatures need urls for pictures. Only our avatars can be uploaded to the database. There actually should be a "bump this post" button that will appear if a thread hasn't received any posts in X amount of hours/days. Otherwise you can put the url in directly to your sig. As long as your signature doesn't extend a ridiculous amount it's not a big deal. A few lines of text is fine. However I personally get annoyed when people put pictures in their sigs that extend 10+ lines. Or you could also use that bit of bbc coding to make other text be the link as well. Just add an = after the url in the first code box and paste your url there. Then type the text you want, ex: Click here to see my post!, and then close it off with a And lastly, future zombies should be fine.

This needs to be fixed (Galvaknuckles room exploit)
MegaAfroMan replied to Dahniska's topic in Die Rise
I'm sorry but I disagree. Yes it is being smart and using the spawns, but I believe it wasn't intended to work the way it does. Zombies can and do spawn and drop down the series of jumps you have to make until you step in the room. I would think they still should be able to pop up behind. The fact that they don't surprises me greatly. It is an exploit, not a glitch necessarily. If Treyarch discovers it and disagrees with it's use, I'm sure we'll see it fixed. If not it's just the perfect place to be. 4 people down there, 1 with the sliquifier, and the others with whatever they want should be able to hold out nearly indefinitely, and progress at a pretty decent pace. The only reason I'm more opposed to this than to some of the other rooms you can camp is because, in my mind, there is no reason the zombies should stop spawning above and dropping down the jumps to get behind you. -
There is a pretty good one for the Richtofen side here on this site. Scan the Die Rise section, the thread author is AlphaOmega.

As far as I can tell, there is no known bank, or fridge, or similar storage system in Great Leap Forward. Doesn't make it any less awesome though.
-
Looks nice with the colors! Great job. Hope to see your update when Maxis's side is completed!

I was wondering about that. I briefly considered it being a side-effect of the almost over powered nature of the perk, but I don't think it would be unless that was only a temporary effect, it is, as you said, game-breaking. Too much so to be intended. I hope it is a glitch and gets patched out ASAP.

Well then, it does not require both of them. The orbs can be shot in succession. There you guys go. EDIT: (I removed some off topic stuff that was developing in this thread. The topic here is the EE, and the steps.)

CoDz official Die Rise general feedback and first impression
MegaAfroMan replied to MegaAfroMan's topic in Die Rise
With the Who's who perk you spawn in a "clone" of yourself armed with an M1911. So it's an automatic revive already, HOWEVER, your dying corpse is still bleeding out where you downed, so you have the opportunity to try and revive yourself. If you do, your clone vanishes, and you resume as if nothing happened, and the only thing you lose from downing is who's who. Conversely, if you downed and there is a massive horde running towards your newly spawned clone, you can choose to just abandon your old body. Your clone can by weapons, and perks and do everything you could do in the first place. The only downside is that everything you had when the original you downed dies with the original you. Your clone only gets to start with an M1911. So depending on the round, where you are, and your skill level, surviving could be tough. Pro's over QR ----------------- Potentially infinite uses (as far as I know) You keep all of your perks except Who's who Works in solo and multiplayer Con's over QR ------------------- More difficult to keep guns. (QR Guarantees you get revived and get to keep your weapons, WW only grants you an M1911) Can get swarmed upon spawning EDIT: Aw I'm posting this anyways. -
MurderMachine, I would think you better than to use Reductio ad absurdum to make a point. Shame. Granted he is correct, if it is a glitch (which I believe it is) then this must be doable with a single sliquifier. If it truly isn't then it's unfortunate that this bypasses whatever intention Treyarch had. However this EE certainly has held people at bay for quite awhile compared to some of the BO1 EEs.
-
It's a glitch, otherwise it'd still say "press X to take" instead of "will be available in the box later" as it floats away. The game just has a hard time breaking ties when people press the button at the same time with the hacker, with this they neglected to include something to stop it from being taken while it floats away, and on TranZit, the Jet Gun can only be multiplied if you use an exploit involving dropping it on the ground. Not sure why that hasn't been patched, unless it's too difficult, but it doesn't make sense as to why the table would say "Only one per map" if the devs intended you to be able to multiply it.

CoDz official Turned general feedback and first impressions
MegaAfroMan replied to MegaAfroMan's topic in Turned
After my first few plays of this mode, I've got to say I like it. I think it is fun, and hectic, and overall a good laugh. However I played it with 2 friends. I do not think I would enjoy this nearly as much if 50% or more of the lobby was randoms. I think it is a great little game for 4 friends to go play to kill 10 or however many minutes, but I don't think its useful for much else. As far as the actual game goes, I feel like they did a decent job with balancing out the sides, as long as there are even only two zombies and one human it is still fun. One on one is not though... :P -
From what I can tell Xbox is at fault for the LIVE issues, they had mentioned it on their support page. The Die Rise Local error however is Treyarch's fault. It seems that there is an error in the loading video or the start up scripts of Local Die Rise, and I hope this gets fixed immediately. Also I hope they finally fix DLC items resetting their equipped status in classes. The CE camo did it, and now the peacekeeper seems to do it.

CoDz official Die Rise general feedback and first impression
MegaAfroMan replied to MegaAfroMan's topic in Die Rise
So far after playing it, I have to say it was the most exciting time I've had with zombies on BO2. Although riding the bus and discovering the "hidden" locations in TranZit was a neat experience, this was just awesome. I jumped a few times in my seat while playing. The Sliquifier has become my new favorite WunderWeapon. Not because of it's killing potential, but because it's so hilarious and chaotic, I'm just sad that it cannot be pack-a-punched by any known means currently. I love the Nova round, I think it was definitely a cool addition to the game and helps bring back that BO1 feel. I'm not sure how long this map will be entertaining for, but I have high hopes. -
I've had both of those problems. The camo one has been annoying me for awhile, but the peacekeeper one is too big to just shrug off.

In order to avoid the torrential downpour of new threads both complaining and complimenting Turned without offering any new information, I am putting this thread up. Any complaint/feedback thread made after this will be merged with this one. So CoDz, what do you think of Turned?
-
In order to save our forum the myriad of threads we will see complaining or complimenting Die Rise without offering new information, I am putting this thread in place. Any feedback/complaint thread created later will be merged with this one just to save space. Now CoDz, what do you think of Die Rise?

Things that People Will be Complaining About in Die Rise
MegaAfroMan replied to OMGItsPatricio's topic in Die Rise
Keep this friendly, or a different Mega is going to have to have a word with those involved... And yes, whether or not I'll like it is debatable, but based on what we've heard so far this will be disliked by the majority as Shangri La, FIVE and Verruckt/Nacht was on BO.
