On Why Zombies is Addictive
xFaTaLx RaMpAgE replied to perfectlemonade's topic in General Zombies Discussion
Epic Post Bro. 'Nuff said. You know you can have all the perks and the fractalizer at the same time right? That makes for 2X the fun, even though I have never upgraded my baby gun before. ;) -
Ultimately, only Carbon, Covert, and Alpha know what it is truly like to run this site, so they should be the ones to decide the next owner. They know who the people are that will be able to run it. They don't want to put it up to a vote and have someone inexperienced win, that is the last thing they want. They need to be absolutely sure that they are picking the right person, for the good of the whole site. That is why I think there should NOT be a vote. It's a bad idea.

First off, welcome to the site. Enjoy your stay here. Second of all, a lot of people seem to want an underwater map, so I hope Treyarch realizes that and makes one. The ghosttown is interesting; I haven't heard that one yet but it would be very neat to play on. Finally, the paradise you speak of is Shangri-La. Well, it was paradise until the zombies showed up.

I can't remember if I've said this before so I'll say it here. I think you should be able to turn the song on multiple times, or have multiple songs, or be able to turn on multiple songs multiple times. :P

This is also true on Kino when you run in the alley and on FIVE when you stay on the top 2 floors.

What do you want for Dead Ops Arcade 2?
xFaTaLx RaMpAgE replied to DEFCON 1's topic in Single Player
Well ninjas and Bill, you guys will both like this little description I wrote about the effects of the teddy bear a little while back. Enjoy I will now describe the effects of the teddy bear from Dead Ops in great detail with 12 steps. 1. You are playing with a friend and are both down to your final life. 2. A teddy bear spawns, and you think ooh I need that so it can save my life. 3. You receive a shiny blue forcefield. 4. When zombies touch it, they make butterflies 5. Zombies become scared (of the butterflies?) and run back to their spawn 6. Some zombies don't have spawns=Programming error. Some types just sit there waving there arms around waiting for you to run by so they can kill you. 7. You then happen to pick up a flamethrower, what are you supposed to do??? 8. You run by a flaming zombie standing in one spot hiding in the shadows 9. You die and lose your times 9 multiplier. 10. Your partner then experiences the most intense wave of cursing imaginable. 11. Your partner then gets distracted by your swearing that he dies. 12. Game over, you lost because you picked up that all-powerful teddy bear. So why does the teddy bear give you those powers? Judging by the description above I'm pretty sure that the creators of Dead Ops were high when they made it, I mean really? Really? Come on, Really? A blue forcefield that scares zombies by creating butterflies making them run away and you run into a zombie standing still in the shadows that you can't even see and die and start swearing like a sailor causing your teammate to become distracted and die which makes you lose. (Try saying that in one breath. ) Game Over. Okay he might not have been high, but he was at least having a bad day. -
Suggestions for a more SKILLFUL Game
xFaTaLx RaMpAgE replied to TheCaptain943's topic in Single Player
I like the cutscenes in campaign. They should keep them but should let you skip them if you are going back over it. The m60 actually is in zombies, you just have to look hard enough ;) -
Moon Vs Ascension, which is easier solo?
xFaTaLx RaMpAgE replied to MegaAfroMan's topic in General Zombies Discussion
I say Ascension. Here's why: 1. It has the thundergun, which has more spread than the wave gun. This means if you get in a jam it is more likely to save you. 2. The flopper platform. This is the most basic kiting spot in all of zombies, a giant square. You can pretty much run it while eating, sleeping, talking, or playing with your eyes closed. 3. Traps. If you run out of ammo you can use the traps to take out a horde, instead of having to rely on getting a drop and then hacking it. 4. Monkeys. Every 4 or 5 rounds you get to skip an entire round because of monkeys. They also give you a free max ammo. 5. Nice and simple. You don't have to worry about excavators, cosmonauts, NML, or lack of air outside. It is pretty cut and dry and is also easier to recover on if you go down. -
This.

That would be crazy, could you imagine how often people would be going down? It would also be nearly impossible to hit the box. Overall it would be really fun although it might get quite laggy.

For the financial issue we could always get a bunch of members to chip in each month. Think about it if we can get 10 members try will each only have to pay $8 a month, which is much more affordable than $80

I just posted this in the Xbox thread so I thought I'd post it here too. Ha ha ha I'm loving this idea acually, meaby I could finally get shangri-la and the full moon EE done Yeah it would also be a good opportunity for some people to pick up their achievements!

What do you want for Dead Ops Arcade 2?
xFaTaLx RaMpAgE replied to DEFCON 1's topic in Single Player
Oh my gosh you nailed it with the boost thing. That drives me insane because when you drop a nuke you are invincible for a short while, although you don't get rings, but boosts are so unreliable. I also think that when you boost you should keep going until you get to the edge of the map, so you don't end up in the middle of the map or getting stuck on a teammate. The leaderboards stop at 99 to prevent hacking and glitching, IMHO. Putting your game up on YouTube is almost as good, but obviously not the same. I also think that they should count solo dead ops for the round leaderboards, because it is harder than co-op. Score would be unfair to count though because in solo you get all the gold and kills. -
Is 333ninjas the name you use on XBL/PSN?
-
DoA is also very similar to Geometry Wars, and both are from Activision so that might be where they got their inspiration from.
-
I have a suggestion. I think we should have an Easter playdate. (not on Easter Day though) There could be challenges to see who can complete the Easter eggs the fastest or something like that.

What is the best pointstreak in MW3?
xFaTaLx RaMpAgE replied to perfectlemonade's topic in Modern Warfare 3
It all depends on your playing style. If you are going for wins, then The best is simply the uav. It is so basic, but so effective and easy to get. If you are going for kills I like going with the uav, care package, and predator missile. This way by the time you get 2 care packages and preds, it is the equivalent of getting 1 reaper, plus you can die in between. If you are more of the camper type, however, I honk the best is the pavelow. Why? Because it mows the other team down. You can easily get 5-10 kills from one pavelow. That's just what I think though. -

I completely agree with everything you just said. The dogs are ridiculous, I mean you should at least get points when you kill them! I guess killing them is reward enough...? But it really is going to buy me that I don't know who you are. Are you on Xbox or ps3? You obviously know your stuff with Dead Ops, so how far have you been? Sorry for all the questions but you are the first person on here besides me who actually knows a lot about Dead Ops. -
The flamethrower in Dead Ops actually is not that bad. The ray gun causes much worse lag than the flamethrower does, but it would probably be different in normal zombies.

Z Rankings [Higher Rank = More Easter Eggs]
xFaTaLx RaMpAgE replied to The_Librarian's topic in Single Player
You do bring up an intersting point with solo. I feel as if they need to include it in the next game. There could be special challenges that can help you level up. The stats you have in solo would not go towards your multiplayer stats, because they are very different games.
