  1. I do agree on the L4D stuff and personal loadouts, however i think killstreaks would be ok if they weren't ridiculous, and of course i like the idea of old maps in the new game.

One of the zombie devs from treyarch tweeted this link i dont quite understand, but i think its players asking the questions and the devs answering, not quite sure. http://www.gamesradar.com/call-duty-black-ops-2-zombies-what-we-want-see/ If not atleast the dev's are acknowledging what we want and hopefully pick out the best ideas of them and implement them into zombies!

  5. This is something i've always wanted in CoD, Killstreaks attacking other killstreaks. Obviously for this to work Treyarch would have to increase the amount of vehicles aloud in the air at once, so i say each team should be aloud 3 in the air at a time. A team can't have 2+ of the same killstreak in the air - so the team couldn't have Attack Heli, Attack Heli and AC-130, however if a friendly has a attack helicopter, an enemy can also have one. So the only way of two of the same killstreak being in the air at once is if they are on opposing sides. In my 'Vehicles in BO2' thread I listed some Vehicle perks, those won't just apply for map vehicles, they will apply for air killstreaks, here they are: Water cooler [Decreased turret overheat] (Default) Hard Exterior [Vehicle is immune to Napalm and Motars) Safe landing [Ability parachute out of the vehicle if under attack, however can still be killed by the explosion of the vehicle if close enough. (Lvl 25) Bullet proof structure [immune to bullets] (lvl 10) Heat seaker [Ability to lock on to other enemy air support/vehicles] [lvl 45] Aerodynamic [Faster movement, ability to evade enemy missiles if no flares left] [lvl 35] Flares x2 [1 extra flare] [lvl 50 So, If A friendly and enemy attack Heli were in the air, if the friendly was using 'Bullet proof structure' there chopper would be immune to the enemy heli's turret fire, thus making the friendly chopper a stronger one. Killstreaks lower than other killstreaks can still win fights depending on the perks they are using. Now, onto the player controlled killstreaks. If a Friendly osprey gunner was in the air, and an Enemy attack Heli, the attack Heli would try to take down the osprey, but since the osprey is player controlled the player can either ignore the chopper or just carry on shooting infantry. Two player controlled killstreaks can fight aswell, think of how fun it would be- being in a gunship attacking an enemy gunship If the friendly team had an Attack Helicopter in the air, and the enemy had attack heli, overwatch and osprey, the friendly chopper would try to attack the osprey first because it is a higher killstreak. Vehicles that can shoot rockets can use them in fights. Lets say an Attack Helicopter has 1000 Health And an AH-6 Overwatch had 1500 Health Despite the Vehicle perks, that piece of info dosen't tell you that the Overwatch would win a fight. Cobra's/Hinds have rockets and i don't think AH-6's do, so if one rocket dealt 300 Damage, and a bullet from the turret only did 100, i think the Attack heli could win if it used its rockets properly. Killstreaks like Motars, Napalm, precision airstrikes, stealth bombers can kill enemy air support if there bomb/whatever they drop lands on them. Also, If a chopper is supposed to be in the air for 60 sec, the time it spends attacking other vehicles dosen't count towards that 60 seconds, so if your heli when it was called in spent 30 seconds destroying an enemy AH-6, providing the Enemy didn't call anything in/destroy your chopper - in total your chopper would be up for 1.30 minutes. (90 seconds) If anything this is far from balanced and detailed, but i just came up with it when i was in a gunship on BO :lol:
  6. Toning down grenades is a must I think, host migration would be nice in both games. And change the sound of the chopper shooting in cod4

  9. Is there actually going to be a trailer today? Im sitting watching the championships on ITV1 now and theres been like 4 ad breaks and still no trailer, half time is coming up soon though. I haven't seen ANY Treyarch/activision employee talk about this trailer. AS soon as i wrote this davidvonderhaar tweeted about the chelsea game didn't mention the trailer though.
  10. I'd like to see IW and Treyarch Revamp Cod4 and Cod5's multiplayer. They could make it as a DLC, when you go onto the Multiplayer menu it could say 'Old multiplayer, 'New multiplayer'. This DLC would get rid of all the hackers, (Old multiplayer would be hacker-free aswell as new one) and they would update the graphics and add some new little features that were either cut from the game or just something fun to include. Old multiplayer would still be there for those who want to play the old multiplayer. When i say 'Revamp' i don't mean add pro perks and strike packages however that could be a viable option. I mean make the game actually playable. For WaW they could add the cut fourth killstreak and maybe some WW2 fighter planes in some maps. Just an idea but i'd like to see these multiplayers updated and hacker-free.
  11. I've enjoyed the MW series, but since BO2 is going to be in the future i feel if they made a MW4 then we would have 3 games in a row of roughly modern warfare. So i think they should go back to the past, i made a thread about this ages ago and i'd like to bring the subject up again. The only past games we've had is WaW and BO (Excluding CoD3-) and i think it'd be nice to get a trilogy of games in the past. They would be set in WW1 and WW2. I think it would be great because WaW would be an amazing game with all the pro perks, pointstreaks and such and I'd like to see a game in the past with them. I hope IW don't make MW4 because i would just be bored of the modern-ness.

  13. I've never been reported but i always accidently report people when im trying to mute the whole lobby quickly the only time i report people is when i find boosters in infected, I'l follow them round and then report them when the game ends :lol:
  14. CODblackopsblog wrote on twitter that on May 19'th a second trailer for BO2 will be aired in a break on the Champions league final on saturday May 19'th. The final starts at 7:30 BST and will be aired on ITV 1 and Sky sports 1. Despite my hate for football i will put myself through hell to watch the finals until this trailer is broadcasted For people not in the UK and people not in the time zone then the trailer will be uploaded after broadcast.
  15. I like the idea of getting concept art, i think they should definitely include the BO+WaW zombie maps. I like this idea If they did make a Hardened edition specifically for zombies, i think they would have to include the old zombie maps in a normal Hardened edition for the players that like both MP+Zombies. I'm not expecting much 'physical' from the Hardened though, suppose the better things you get the higher the price! And if the price went to high then it might aswell just be a prestige edition..
  16. I've just been playing BF3, and the knife came out instantly? I pressed R2 (PS3) and it done the action like in CoD. Hopefully they don't make CoD like BF3 its faaaaar to confusing :lol:
  17. There's been rumors that the contract for XBOX DLC will end for BOII because at the end of the trailer theres no 'Exclusively to xbox' or something. Well on the MW3 and BO first trailer there was no xbox thing either... Sorry if someones already posted this.

I made this thread a while ago, so i decided to post it in here The Poll on the old thread of this had 14 votes for Yes and 5 for No In WaW, as you probably know you could use tanks in some of the maps. In a recent job description for Activision it mentioned work to do with vehicles in treyarch's FPS games, now it wasn't talking about killstreaks because they were mentioned aswell in the description but not with vehicles. In WaW you either loved or hated the tanks, personally i loved them and hope they return in BO2 along with some other vehicles... I think that on big open maps, tanks/humvees/jets/helicopters/boats should be available to use. This might seem overpowered however i have some ideas on how to make them balanced. Just a side note, in BO there was an equipment section, i think all lock on launchers with 2 rockets in them should be a equipment like the STRELA and unlocked at a level close to prestige, other rocket launchers like the LAW, RPG as normal rocket launcher secondaries. Now here is how i would balance vehicles: Air vehicles One player will drive the air vehicle and control the rocket turret, and the other will control the machine gun. Players in the air vehicles can only earn specialist/support killstreaks from kills they get inside the air vehicle. They have 1 set of flares which have to be manually deployed by the player (like bf3). SAM turrets can destroy these aswell. Enemy players will get 1 point towards there pointstreak for destroying the vehicle, and an extra 1,2 depending on how many players are in the vehicle. Enemy ASSAULT killstreaks that are controlled not by the player like the attack helicopter will make there first priority to destroy ANY enemy non killstreak air vehicle making them extremely useless against enemy killstreak vehicles. Jets would not fly as fast as Jets in BF3, Helicopters would fly roughly the same speed as the gunship from black ops. Non killstreak air vehicles can only destroy other non killstreak vehicles. Ground vehicles. Like in WaW it takes 1 person to drive and use the rocket turret, and one person to use the MG. The tanks take 4 rockets from a launcher to destroy. Unlike air vehicles, Enemy killstreaks will not attempt to destroy tanks, and the tanks can not destroy them. Humvees however are much different, they have a much higher speed and much less health, the person that drives it will be the gunner of the MG aswell, as there will be no rocket turrets on these. VEHICLE PERKS You will have 2 tiers of vehicle perks, Ground and Air. Each will be unlocked at a certain level (im assuming prestige will be lvl 50 like bo) Ground Lead foot [increased tank/humvee speed] (lvl 20) Ordnance training [Makes reloading the rockets on tanks and MG's on humvees+tanks quicker] (lvl 10) Hard Exterior [Vehicle is immune to Napalm and Motars] (lvl 40) Greased bearings [Turret rotates quicker] (default) Explosive deflector [Places a trophy system on the vehicle, deflecting a max of 2 rockets](lvl 45) Magic wrench [Repair broken vehicles, however more wont spawn until there all gone] (lvl 39) Bullet proof structure [immune to bullets, the person controlling the MG is safe from gunfire when not in cover.] [lvl 18] Air Water cooler [Decreased turret overheat] (Default) Hard Exterior [Vehicle is immune to Napalm and Motars) Safe landing [Ability parachute out of the vehicle if under attack, however can still be killed by the explosion of the vehicle if close enough. (Lvl 25) Bullet proof structure [immune to bullets] (lvl 10) Heat seaker [Ability to lock on to other enemy air support/vehicles] [lvl 45] Aerodynamic [Faster movement, ability to evade enemy missiles if no flares left] [lvl 35] Flares x2 [1 extra flare] [lvl 50] You can't upgrade these perks to pro. Where will the vehicles be found? Ground vehicles(Tanks/Humvees): These vehicles will be found on medium sized maps with large roadways for the tanks to go through like in WaW, at the start of a game 1 ground vehicle will be placed in each spawns (could be tank or humvee) then when both are destroyed another two will spawn shortly after. If vehicles are fixed with the Magic wrench perk, only one vehicle will spawn if that one is running. Air vehicles: Air vehicles will be placed on large open maps (easier to use and to speed up gameplay) there will be a hanger with either a jet in or a helicopter outside of at both main spawns in the map Instead of jets needing a runway to take of they will just slowly rise off the ground and then fly like a proper jet (if that is possible, i know you can do it on GTA san andreas but dont know if it is practical in real life ) After both are destroyed another two will spawn shortly after. Additional information Both ground/air vehicles can not capture flags. Killstreaks controlled by the enemy (AC-130, gunship, reaper) can attack both ground and air vehicles. If a air/ground vehicle is in the radius of an airstrike/napalm strike there health will be significantly lowered if there not destroyed. If Tanks are on the map when the match starts, when there destroyed the next set of vehicles will most likely be Humvees. If Jets are on the map when the match starts, when there destroyed the next set of vehicles will most likely be Helicopters. Ground vehicles can run over enemy players.

  22. Just watched that video quite funny actually since he uses nearly all the same vocabulary i seen this video in my sub box but didn't really want to listen to any ideas, luckily i didn't aha!   23. Explosives In MW3 explosives are terrible, according to elite i've thrown like 8000 and only got about 800 kills with them, thats like 10%. I thought in black ops explosives were just right, not overpowered and not too weak. However in MW2 there were one man army danger close scavenger noob tubes thumper RPGs and all that BS. In MW3 theres the overkill perk, seriously who uses this? If you want a SMG as a secondary then just use the MP9! Overkill could've been replaced by danger close, which if implemented properly wouldn't be OP and annoying since other popular perks are in that tier. Explosives in black ops 2 should be like black ops i think, if you choose for them to be weak then add danger close. RPGs and rockets off tanks (if there is any) should do roughly the same damage and do a significant higher amount of damage than grenades. Also i think if all explosives look the same and sound the same its abit lazy, a valkyrie rocket made the same sound as a normal grenade and i just think its abit plain. In MW3 theres reapers preds AC-130's which all of the explosives have different sounds appearances and leave behind a different amount of smoke. Heat seaking rocket launchers (Stingers) I think the Stinger and the Strela-3 are OP. In black ops you can take out ANY type of destructible airsupport almost instantly if you carry a Strela because none have more than 1 flare. I find it really annoying when my air support is shot down instantly. MW3 kind of tackled this by having the AC-130 and Pave low have 2 flares, but you can still take out a pave low in 1 shot if your directly underneath it. I think rocket launchers like stingers should only have 1 rocket, unless the player is using Scavenger pro. Scavenger pro should be in the same tier as blind eye thus if players want to make a anti airsupport class they will choose blind eye over scavenger. Yes this will make air-support more dominant and annoying but most of the time players have genuinely got a killstreak by playing good. I highlighted genuinely because sometimes theres boosters/hackers etc. Nearly everyone uses strelas in black ops because the other secondarys aren't as good. So i'd like to see stingers/strelas only have 1 rocket unless the player has scavenger pro on then they will have 2. Knifing There has been lots of debate on this topic, and this is my opinion. I think the knife should be equipped by pressing the melee button. Circle/analog stick for PS3 dunno about xbox though. The knife will take the same time to equip as it takes to change your weapon, unless the player is using sleight of hand pro (swap weapons faster) or the supposed perk 'Bladesman'. The slow equip means the player can't just quickly hit circlecircle to kill the player. This would hopefully reduce panic knifing. Quickscoping/Sniping Quickscoping... well, some people hate it and some people love it. However, I'm in the middle. Quickscoping from a distance were a shotgun would be useless is fine with me, however when the sniper is in shotgun range and quickscopes me i get really annoyed. I say if you want to go round 1 shot killing everyone in CQC then use a shotgun, snipers are for long distances. Bring back the bolt actions without scopes from WaW! Nukes Finally, Nukes. I think MOABS are pretty useless? You get 6 or under kills, or 9 or under if playing ground war. You have to get a 24 gun streak to get these 9 or under kills and a EMP effect for a limited time for the opposing team. I think the EMP should last for the remainder of the game. The MW2 Nuke was better than the MW3 MOAB and it is easier to get. I don't see the logic... Personally i have only got 1 MOAB with the L86 LSW on ground war TDM. Unfortunately for me the MOAB went of when the score was 9900, so i only got one kill I know devs do sometimes read the site, i doubt they will but if they do happen to read this hopefully they will take something from it if my ideas are good. Thanks :)
