  1. So here are some pretty good tips I found just in general for any zombies map, particularly this walkthrough was for Kinodertoten, I just thought I would share it. Source: http://blog.mad4flash.com/2011/01/call-of-duty-black-ops-zombies-walkthrough-guide-strategy-and-tips/ Tip 1: How To Rack Up Points Fast If you want to rack up points quickly do the following: During the first few rounds let the zombies break the barriers, when they start to come out shoot them with the pistol 3 or 4 times then knife them. In the first three rounds the zombies will die with just one knife slash, the pistol usually takes around 8 shots (a whole clip) to take out a zombie, if you only use your pistol you will run out of ammo before you get the Maximum Ammo. Rebuild barriers after you let the zombies through and repeat this process, also I recommend not purchasing any weapons in the first few rounds, wait until you can get weapons like the MP-40 or Steakout. Tip 2: Watch Your Barrier The first few rounds are easy… extremely easy, just watch your own barrier. If you let the zombies break out of the barriers then kill them you will usually get power-ups like Max Ammo, Instant-Kill, Double Points etc… Remember when you want points shoot then knife, but always watch your back. Tip 3: Take Turns… This applies to Co-op mode, when I play with my friends we generally take the upstairs door in the Kin0 Der Toten map. Whichever map you are on take turns opening doors so that everyone has an equal amount of cash. Not everyone will cooperate, hopefully you join a room where everyone has a microphone then you can work things out easier. Tip 4: The Hounds Have Been Released… Depending on how many players you have alter the time at which the “dogs” are released. Everyone should huddle up in to a corner, make sure you have a better weapon like the steakout or MP-40. Don’t move, the hounds will always chase the person who is moving, if you are in a corner with everyone else they will still come to you, just shoot them as they approach, stay close with your allies, if you are in single player mode stay in the corner and shoot. In Co-op mode take turns reloading, communication is a very important key. After all the hounds have been killed you will get the “Max Ammo” power-up, have everyone reload their weapons and grab it for the next round of zombies. Tip 5: Leave a Crawler This is probably the best advice I can give you, leave a crawler if you can especially when you get to higher rounds. To leave a crawler just throw a grenade at a group of zombies, avoid the crawler as you rebuild, collect weapons and get ready for the next wave of zombies. Leaving a crawler is definitely the best time to relax and mess around a bit, but once you kill the crawler prepare yourself for the next wave of zombies! Tip 6: The Mysterybox The mysterybox is literally a life-saver. The price of the mysterybox is about 950 points, but is generally well worth it. If you get the thundergun you are definitely in luck, the thundergun and ray gun are a couple of the best weapons, even before upgrading them. If someone on your team gets the thundergun stick together and try to blast zombies away that come in large groups, this will especially be useful for once you get past round 20. Tip 7: Upgrade Your Weapons In the map Kino Der Toten open all the doors to get to the telporter. The teleporter can be turned on by activating it in the main room (starting room). Make sure you get the teleporter ready for every round, keep leaving crawlers to rebuild and recuperate from previous waves. The room where you teleport to allows you to upgrade your weapons for 5,000 points, you should always upgrade your best weapon at hand, so if you had a thundergun you could upgrade that to have more rounds and shots… trust me it’s worth upgrading. Tip 8: Move Slowly? As crazy as this may sound it works, keep all of your guys together. Don’t move all around the map, the key is to get the zombies lined up as best as possible then shoot then, grenade them etc.. If you run then you will get “pinned” or trapped by the zombies from behind as well, just stick together and move around the map stopping in each room to fire some rounds, keeping everyone together is definitely the key. Example: If there are two sets of stairs stay at one, don’t move around to both or else the zombies will chase you from both ways. Tip 9: Buy Power-Ups As you get farther into the game you will want to purchase power-ups with your points. You can find different power-ups from vending machines, some of them include quick revive, faster reload etc… These power-ups will definitely be the difference between wave 20 and wave 21 (or higher). Power-ups that you purchase typically cost 2,500 points on up, if you save you should be able to afford them, work with your other players to come up with a strategy. Tip 10: The Last Man Standing The final tip I am going to cover is what you should do if someone need to be revived? Only revive other players if it safe to do so, I can’t tell you how many people have died from trying to revive their teammates, the best thing to do is wait until the zombies have cleared, if you have the quick revive powerup you’ll be able to successfully heal your players in time. If you have a lot of zombies and happen to be the last survivor try to play it safe, always watch your back and try to get to a large open area where you can “filter” or line up the zombies.
