How to deal with the monkeys with a shotgun only challenge
Zom-B_Hunter115 replied to TheSickTrickZ's topic in Ascension
I never really bother with claymores for monkey kills, they done seem very effective. All I use them for is to slow them down, because they seem to stop and jump to blow them up therefor giving you more time to get there and blast'em. -
How to deal with the monkeys with a shotgun only challenge
Zom-B_Hunter115 replied to TheSickTrickZ's topic in Ascension
If you open both starting doors but leave the UPPER door to jug closed, one person can protect both jug and quick revive. As far as shotguns go I'd say you need an upgraded one after the 2nd or 3rd monkey round. Not too sure about the claymores. But leaving the UPPER door closed is the best way to protect 2 perks at once. Hope this helps. -
Lol and here I was thinking I was the only one. I love the George idea I just think he should maybe look more like a zombie. He looks more like a zombre when you shoot him. True. I don't know how to describe it but I feel like they could have done more with him.

Welcome. This is a great site. Ive only recently discovered it myself and find myself on it almost daily. And COTD is honestly my favorite map (hated it when it was first released). Its awesome once you develop your own strategy for it.

Watch This And I Hope The Zombie Guys At Treyarch Can See.
Zom-B_Hunter115 replied to ShotDown1234's topic in Moon
You can just not buy the perks if you want that original feel. Most perk machines are in out of the way corners anyway so they wouldn't really get in the way that much either. -
Welcome. Now that I think about it I done think I ever made an intro posting lol

failed? that sucks. The guys i always play with and i are always tying to come up with new challenge matches to do. This one turned out to be one of the more entertaining one we've done. Id love to give a weekly challenge another shot depending on how this one turns out.

Just finished both of them for the second time tonight :)

Correct, Sickle and Bowie Knife are allowed. I dont have a score for any other map but kino at this time but will get some soon.

Open the door to the MPL and have everybody buy it. Have on person cover each of the windows in the back by the door to the cave. One person watch the ledge by speed/jug. and the other watch the front. The player watching the front will obviously get the most points so rotate every other round or so. Buy more ammo if need be and dont open the door to the cave unit you have the points you want. Watch out for screamers and napalm they tend to spawn towards the windows more than elsewhere. This is a well tested strategy and still works as a good camping spot even after opening the cave. once the door is open the player watching the ledge just needs to back up a little and watch the cave too, and the people watching the windows need to keep an eye on the people in front and back them up when they start getting over run. When there is a drop throw a monkey DOWN THE BLOW HOLE once the monkey has it. this will give you just enough time to kill the monkey and get max ammo. Unless you run out of ammo, you can hold this spot with good players. The fallout plan can sometimes go wrong but usually works fine, take the cave and circle around the map back to the spot. When playing as a team remember to JUMP THE SPIKES!!! *This is still possible without monkeys but its always better if at least two people have them. another idea is to have one player run a train up by the minecart and blow hole (THIS CAN BE DIFFICULT BUT IS POSSIBLE) once they stop spawning run them down the hill and have the other three players blow their brain out Rinse and repeat. As Always...Happy Zombie Killin :D

You can do this on any map but we usually do it on Kino. You can ONLY use your KNIFE and GRENADES. No box, no guns, no PaP, and no traps. You can buy perks and bowie knife but thats it. The highest we have made it is 24 with 3 people, we havent really tried again since we went that far. But post your record and lets see who is the best at knifing the undead EDIT: Forgot about claymores those are also allowed.
-
We do this a lot also. Especially in KINO on the small steps to stage right(by the claymores). If you plant them correctly they will only explode if your pinned against the wall . Also in the little cubby to stage left, we plant a lot in there too, once you have a mob running behind you run into there and watch your wonderful collection explode right before your eyes lol. And another great spot is in the ally in the corners, if you create a line with them to make a good size triangle (two sides are the walls, and the other being claymores) if you find yourself in a sticky situation out there just run to a corner and reload while the claymores cover you for a few seconds.

Kino is one of the Better maps but deffinetly not the Best. Not by a long shot.

The first few times i played Five i HATED it. Know that ive played it a few more times and got used to the close quarters i think its a great map. Close quarters zombie killing in the pentagon, whats not to like. I hated call of the dead when that came out and now its my favorite map. I agree Five deserves a better Rep. I personally think its the hardest map of them all, but thats no reason to say it sucks.
-
I dont think they should have added it to the original W@W maps (especialy Nacht Der Untoten...that on should stay with NO perks), but the rest of them it makes a nice addition. Not so much in KINO and Five as the other 3, but still nice to have. I agree that this makes Ascension too easy, even tho i havent played ascension in months and havent tried very hard to break my personal record of 29. To me it makes COTD and Shangri-La the best maps to play. Running out of ammo on round 30+ and mainly the lag after 30+ on shangri-la have always been our downfall.
-
I love the IDEA of George, but there are a few things I would change.... When you kill him he should stay gone for longer than one round. He should also drop a max ammo if someone already has the waffle. He should look more like a zombie Thats really all I would change. You can still hold down areas as a team, when he gets close shot him and run him away, then go back. You can still camp solo in the bottom of the lighthouse when he is in there, ive done it on multiple games. And try to jump right before he hits the ground and he wont slow you down. Other than that all you have to do is run around him. George adds a nice twist to this map, yes he can be a pain in the a$$ but so what, if playing zombies was easy I wouldn't want to play for hours on end.

Yeah COTD is honestly my favorite map even before Mule Kick. Now that they have added that im gonna go crazy!! Being able to get that third gun is going to be awesome. Ak74u, Ray gun/M&S, and the Lazarus...EPIC! combo on COTD .

Hope that helps guys! Very interesting ill have to give that a shot. Cool man thanks

What is your highest round on Shangri-La?
Zom-B_Hunter115 replied to carbonfibah's topic in Shangri-La
Round 31 with the Easter egg done x4. Game started to lag so bad we all went down halfway through the round -
Very true. Forgot to add the fact about the death machine, thanks. The upgraded VR-11 also adds the insta-kill feature when you shoot an ally with it, which will save alot of ammo. Since they are adding mule kick it makes a lot of sense to get the VR-11 as your third gun. With only having two guns tho I would not recommend it.

For those of you who struggle with killing George and getting all 7 perks, here is the best way that ive found. At the beginning run and knife George till he screams (this makes the first round of zombies spawn faster). Build up as many points as you can and once you get to round 8-10 leave a couple crawlers and start shooting George. Take him to the pool of water closest to the box, that way you can use your ammo on George and then hit the box. Use whatever weapon you get outta the box until its empty, every shot counts just some do alot more damage than others. Hit the box, shoot George, hit the box shoot George, you get the idea. This works best with 3 people because one person can babysit the crawlers while the others work on george. Just switch out every once in awhile. If you get the ray gun or scavenger be sure to keep it because those are the easiest to kill him with. Be careful of the crawlers, if they get to close just take George somewhere else. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE 4 PERKS BEFORE YOU KILL HIM.Or you can get all 7 for free but it takes a LONG time for that. I've gotten all 7 perks buy round 15 doing this. Good luck and Happy Zombie Killin EDIT: ~It is now all 8 perks with the recent addition of Mule Kick. ~Always try to use the Death Machine on George. On solo im guestimating it takes around 4 FULL Death Machines to the head to kill George. (Have not fully tested this yet) ~With the Lazarus you can not only give your allys Insta-Kill when you shoot them, but you can shoot george while he is in the water and he will go away for the round. Which makes it an Ideal weapon to have in high rounds and/or as your third gun.
